(Volume 1) Part 14: The Mistakes of Humans and Faunus.

Two months has passed since the Field Trip at Forever Fall. You, Raiden, and the rest of team RWBY are currently walking through the streets of Vale...you are extremely bored out of your mind as Weiss is currently having the time of her life right now. You pass a sign that reads 'Welcome to Vale!' and look to see the person hanging it up...look strangely familiar, you could've sworn this was the same guy from the Dust shop...you think to yourself that maybe he switched jobs...but you're worried he might be planning something...so hideous, so vicious, AND SO VILE AN-! You are immediately cut off by Weiss...you completely forget about what you're talking about...

Weiss:"The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!"

Ruby:"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss...It's kinda weirding me out..."

You:"...Maybe it's NOT WEISS AT ALL!" You point your finger at her as she looks...like her normal self again

You:"Hmm...you put up a nice act WEISS IMPERSONATOR BUT YOU SHALL NEVER FOOL ME!" Weiss is simply face palming at the moment...

Weiss IMPERSONATOR:"...I'm not even going to respond to that idiotic statement..."

You:"B-but you just did...AND YOU ARE AN IMPERSONATOR! ONLY AN IMPERSONATOR WOULD NOT WANT TO BE QUESTIONED! I HAVE FIGURED IT OU-" Yang places you into a headlock, and you can no longer breathe. You kick around for a bit as your face is buried into her arm and can't even signal for air.

Weiss IMPERSONATOR:"Thank you, Yang...I know you're usually hyper (F) but what is with you today?" You can finally breathe a little as you poke your face out of Yang's arm.

You:"S-sorry, Ruby made me try coffee..." Weiss glares at Ruby and Ruby innocently whistles and looks at the sky

Weiss IMPERSONATOR:"Of course you would do that..." she face palms... "Anyways...How could you 'not' smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a Tournament!"

You(quietly):"Yeah...a tournament me and Raiden can't even be in."

Weiss IMPERSONATOR :"Silence!" Yang noogies your head and her arm covers your mouth, but you're still able to breathe and see...You see Ruby boop your nose in your defenseless position and try to escape from Yang's grip only to realize Yang is...Insanely strong. "Oh. The amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath-taking."

You(slightly muffled):"Like how Yang is choking me at the moment?" Yang Noogies your head again and lets you go finally, you breath in deeply and Ruby boops your nose again and you take Ruby's hood and put it over Ruby's head forcefully before walking again.

Yang:sigh "You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring."

Weiss IMPERSONATOR:"Quiet you!" You hear the sound of a horn from a boat in the distance and can see the pier from where you're walking

Yang:"Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"

Ruby:"Ugh they smell like fish" Ruby covers her nose, you see Raiden getting excited as he...loves fishing.

You:"I think you mean they smell like Weiss's personality. Dull, smelly, and no one likes her."

Weiss IMPERSONATOR:"Hey!"

You:"Hmm...maybe you ARE the real Weiss...I've still got my eye on you..." You do the 'got my eyes on you' gestures on you and she rolls her eyes...a very Weiss like thing to to, but you're not convinced just yet

Weiss Impersonator?:"Anyways...I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom."

Blake:"She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament."

Weiss Impersonator?:"Ah, you can't prove that!" You walk over to her and look at her closely and she looks like shes about to slap you...

You:"Yeah, yeah, no, this is definitely the real Weiss...'Tis a sad day indeed."

Weiss:"What is that supposed to mea-?" Weiss gets interrupted by Ruby as she's looking at something

Ruby:" Whoa." Everyone stops walking to see a destroyed store with police tape and two Police Detectives investigating the crime. All of you walk up to the store and see the store was completely robbed of all Dust..."What happened here?" Ruby asks

Detective 1: "Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle." You could've sworn that you've heard his voice from somewhere...but where you wonder... all you can think of is an A.I with a sniper rifle yelling "YOU TEAM KILLING FU-" you snap back to reality before finishing the thought to hear Yang

Yang:"That's terrible." You notice Raiden look down...

Detective 2:"They left all the money again..."Ruby seems curious about this.

Detective 1:"Yeah, just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much dust?" Ruby seems a little distraught after hearing this...almost like she's heard this somewhere before.

Detective 2:"I dunno, ya know what I mean?"

Detective 1:"You thinking the uh, White Fang?"

Detective 2:"Ya I'm thinking we don't get paid enough..." Words to live by you think to yourself

Weiss:"Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." That throws you off a bit as you look at her

Blake:"What's your problem?" You've got a bad feeling about this...

Weiss:"My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane." Yep you've got a VERY bad feeling about this...

Blake:"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a collection of misguided Faunus."

Weiss:"Misguided!? They want to wipe Humanity off the face of the planet!"

Blake:"So then they're 'VERY' misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of Downtown Vale."

Ruby:"Hmm. Blake's got a point. Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a few months ago..."

You:"Wait you mean the guy responsible for the Dust shop and Rooftop incident on that first night we met?"

Ruby:"Yeah, I haven't seen him on TV or anywhere else since..."

You:"Hmm...weird..." Raiden looks down...looks like he's trying to hide something "...Something wrong, Raiden?" he looks up as the Team look at him

Raiden:"H-huh? Oh n-nothing just...lost in thought I suppose..." You can tell he's lying but...you don't want to say anything just yet.

You:"Hmm...maybe it WAS this Torch-whatever dude..."

Weiss:"That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal." You can see Blake get visibly annoyed

Yang:"That's not necessarily true..." Before more madness can ensue you all here the sound of someone shouting

Sailor 1: "Hey! Stop that Faunus!" You and the rest of Team RWBY run back to the Pier and look at the ship to see a Faunus with a monkey's tail who's wearing a shirt that's...unbuttoned showing off his abs with blue pants and red shoes. 'Not gonna lie he has style' You say to yourself

???:"Thanks for the ride, guys! Hehe." The Faunus jumps off the boat and lands on the Pier and runs off

Sailor 2:"You no-good stow-away!" The Faunus jumps up to a lamppost and hangs from it upside down using his tail and takes out a banana from his pocket

???:"Hey! A 'No good' stow-away would've gotten caught. I'm a great stow-away."

You:"I mean...he's not wrong." You get mixed responses from your team...mostly Weiss glaring and Blake smiling. You look back to see the two Detectives from earlier throw a Coconut at the Faunus, it misses as he swings his body back.

Detective 1:"Hey. Get down here this instant." The Faunus throws the Banana peel at the Detective as he brings himself up on top of the Lamp post and jumps off it, going over the two Detectives and surprisingly does a small flip mid-air before landing before running up the stairs. As the Faunus runs by you all, you just barely notice him looking at Blake and winking at her before running off with the two detectives chasing behind him.

Yang:"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition and there it goes."

Weiss:"Quick! We have to observe him!" Weiss runs off

You:"Maaaaayyybbeee we should think about th-" You see everyone in Team RWBY chase after her except for Blake "Um...you good, Blake?"

Blake:"Oh? Y-yeah, come on let's go before they get too far ahead." You and Blake run up to the rest of the team and continue running after the Faunus. As Weiss turns into another street ahead you hear her yell 'OOF!' and you all quickly stop to see her on the ground next to a girl...seems like she ran into her...though she doesn't seem to notice as she watches the Faunus run away.

Weiss:"No! He got away!"

Yang:"Uuuhh,Weiss...?" She points to the girl on the ground and Weiss looks back and jumps up yelling 'GAH!'

???:"Salutations!" the girl yells with enthusiasm...acting like she isn't even on the ground.

Ruby:"Um...hello."

Yang:"Are you...okay?"

You:"Are you hurt?"

???:"I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking." You start to think to yourself that something isn't quite right here as you and all of Team RWBY glance at each other

Yang:"Do you...wanna get up?"

???:"...Yes." She gets up with surprising agility and you all back up a bit from her "My name is Penny. It's a pleasure to meet you." Yup something definitely ain't right with her you say to yourself...

Ruby:"Hi Penny. I'm Ruby."

Weiss:"I'm Weiss."

Blake:"Blake."

You:"My name is (F)."

Raiden:"Raiden."

Yang:"...Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Raiden and Blake both hit her. "Oh, I'm Yang." Yang looks annoyed at Raiden which he just sticks his tongue out and smiles.

Penny:"It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Weiss:"You...already said that..." Penny thinks about that for a moment

Penny:"So I did!" You...don't know what to say in this situation.

Weiss:"Well, sorry for running into you." You all turn to walk away

Ruby:"Take care, friend." As you start to walk away you notice something...off about Raiden, he seems concerned over something...you want to ask but all of Team RWBY is more concern over that Penny girl.

Yang:"She was...weird."

You:"Um...have you met any of us? We're pretty weird too."

Yang:"Oh yeah? How so?"

You:"Let's see we an insanely cute Red hooded girl wielding a massive -almost comical- sized Scythe...that also turns into a gun who also can burst into Roe petals apparently, a girl with the ability to essentially become a Super Saiyan when she's angry, a girl who can create 'shadows' of herself and is...monotone most of the time?...Please don't kill me for that. We have a girl who is from an insanely rich family and has the abilities of...alot of things and has the personality of a 3 year old, and then there's me and Raiden...I don't know where to begin with all of our weirdness...We're pretty weird" All of them have...different reactions...you begin to fear for your life

Yang:"...Well I can't argue with that honestly"

Blake:"..." Monotone as always...though she is giving you a death stare that pierces your soul...

Weiss:"EXCUSE ME!?" her head is steaming red with anger and you hide behind Raiden.

Ruby:"I-insanely...cute?" she goes red

Raiden:"...Well you're not wrong." After Weiss calms down a bit she finally talks

Weiss:"Ugh...anyways, now where did that Faunus rift-raft run off to?"

Penny:"What did you call me?" All of a sudden Penny...is in front of you? What kind of madness is this you wonder...All of Team RWBY is confused on just how exactly she got in front of you all...

Yang:"Oh,I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me."

Penny:"No, not you..." She walks past us and up to Ruby. "You." Ruby is obviously confused by this and can't say anything properly

Ruby:"ME!? I-I don't know, I-- what I--um, uh"

Penny:"You called me your 'friend'.Am I really your friend?"

Ruby:"Ummmmmm" She looks to all of you and you turn to see Weiss, Blake, Yang, and Raiden shaking their head while saying 'No!' silently. You shrug and nod a little. she looks back at Penny "Ya sure! why not!" You see all of Team RWBY fall over and you give Ruby a little thumbs up.

Penny:"Ahaha! Sen-sational!"She throws her hands in the air...you suddenly feel lie this was a bad idea... "We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!" You wonder where you heard that before...

Ruby:"Ooh, is this what it was like when you met me?" She says to Weiss as Weiss gets up and dusts herself off.

Weiss:"No, she seems FAR more coordinated"

Yang:"Soooo, what are you doing in Vale?"

Penny:"I'm here to fight in the tournament." You see Raiden who was drinking water do a spit take

You(Quietly):"Why does everyone get to fight except us..." Raiden dumps the rest of the water on your head. "COOOLLLD!!!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Raiden shrugs and smiles as Ruby giggles at your anger...

Weiss:"Wait...you're fighting in the Tournament?"

Penny:"I''m combat ready!" she gives a little salute

Weiss:"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part."

Blake:"Says the girl wearing a dress."

You:"Not to mention heels..."

Weiss:"It's a 'combat skirt' !" You see Ruby slide up next to her with her arms crossed.

Ruby:"Yeah." She and Weiss give each other a high five...

You:"I...ugh...fine 'combat skirt'...still doesn't excuse the heels...and attitude." You smile smugly as Weiss looks annoyed now

Weiss:"You can shut up now (F)...wait a minute." She walks up to Penny and places her hands on her shoulders and starts shaking her "If you're here for the tournament,does that mean you know that monkey-tailed...rapscallion!?" You see Blake next to you getting pissed off...

Weiss:"The filthy Faunus from the boat!" she pulls out a...very crude and rough drawing of the Faunus...you look to Blake to see shes had enough...this isn't going to end well you say to yourself...

Blake:"Why do you keep saying that?"

Weiss:"Huh?"

Blake:"Stop calling him a rapscallion. Stop calling him a degenerate. He's a person!"

Weiss:"Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop referring to the trashcan as a trashcan? Or a lamppost as a lamppost?" You feel a bit of a snap in you...

You:"And what should I refer to you as? A snotty brat? No, because you shown that you can change and like I said to Cardin, you have no right to dictate others." Weiss glares at you

Weiss:"I can't believe your comparing me to Cardin; a man who picks on the weak for fun, to me as I'm ONLY pointing out this Faunus for the filthy Faunus as he is, he's a thief!"

Blake:"Stop it!"

Weiss:"Stop what? He clearly broke the law. Give him time, he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang." Blake clenches her fist

Blake:"You ignorant little brat!" she yells as she storms off.

Weiss:"How dare you talk to me like that! I'm your teammate!" She stomps over to her.

Blake:"You are a judgmental little girl."

Weiss:"What in the world makes you say that!?" You see Yang slide up to You, Ruby, and Raiden.

Yang:"Uhh, I think we should probably go..." As Blake and Weiss continue arguing you feel yourself starting to crack a little bit more but Penny pops out behind you and Ruby

Penny:"Where are we going?"

Blake:"The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with the terrorist group solely based on his species makes you as much of a scoundrel as you believe him to be."

Weiss:"So you admit it; the White Fang IS just a radical group of terrorists."

Blake:"That's not what I meant and you know it."

Ruby:"T-they'll calm down after a while, right?"

You(sternly):"I doubt it..."

Later

You're back in your dorms with Team RWBY...with Blake and Weiss still arguing...you're almost at your breaking point...

Weiss:"I don't understand why this is causing such a problem."

Blake:"That IS the problem."

Weiss:"You realize that you're defending an organization that hates humanity, don't you? The Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil" You're about to break as your Eye's flame begins to flicker...and Ruby can see this as she holds your arm

Blake:"There's no such thing as 'Pure Evil'! Why do you think they hate humanity so much?! Because of people like Cardin, people like YOU that force the White Fang to take such desperate measures!"...You can't hold back as your Eye ignites fully with blue flames

You(Shouting):"COULD YOU TWO SHUT UP FOR ONE MOMENT!?!" You notice that your eye is actually bleeding...you look to see everyone looking at you surprised...except with Weiss and Blake it's the 'I'm going to murder you' vibe...You breathe out calmly as your Flame dies down.

You:"Listen...both of you have good arguments...yes Humanity has done absolute horrid things to the Faunus...but the White Fang responding in the way that it has...doesn't help in the slightest alright? Blake...As a person who grew up in a place where Faunus were everywhere you must know that the situation in Menagerie isn't getting any better...now because of the White Fang, yes there maybe some more 'Respect' out of the fear that they've bestowed...but Menagerie is not being flooded with hugs and kisses from the Kingdoms aren't they? Now Faunus are getting an even MORE of a bad rep BECAUSE of the White Fang...Yes the White Fang is truly a delicate topic...yes they're helping their race...but also hurting it more and more...like a double-bladed sword..." Blake seems to be thinking about this...you hope that maybe you can stop this senseless bickering "And Weiss, Humanity was horrid to them...before the Faunus War, the Faunus were practically slaves to Humans. They were abused and killed JUST because they looked different. Do you know how backwards that is? That it isn't some Grimm or Illness that kills us, it's our very own Men and Women that deals the final blow...Everyone deserves to be equal in our world, because at the end of it all, we're all made from the same Dust...and to Dust we will return." Weiss seems...a little less angry but...still speaks...

Weiss:"Though you have a good point (F), It still doesn't excuse the actions and deaths at the hands of the White Fang! Oh yes, 'SURELY' those deaths will free the Faunus won't they?" Before you could say anything Blake erupts again.

Blake:"Why are you like this!?"

Weiss:"Like what!?"

Blake:"You're discriminatory!"

Weiss:"I'm a victim!"...The room became deadly silent...she walks closer to Blake

Weiss:"Do you know WHY I despise the White Fang? Why I don't particularly TRUST the Faunus?" She walks to the Window looking at the Shattered Moon. "It's because they've been at war with my family for years...War. as in actual bloodshed...My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And since I was a child, I've watched family friends disappear, Board Members executed. An entire train car full of Dust...stolen." Blake looks down slightly at the mention of that "And every day my father would come home furious, and that made for a very difficult childhood..." She slams her fist against the side of your bed and Ruby goes up to her and tries to comfort Weiss by placing her hand on her shoulder

Ruby:"Weiss, I-" Her hand gets slapped away as Weiss turns back furiously

Weiss:"No! You want to know WHY I despise the White Fang!? It's because they're a bunch of liars! Thieves! And Murderers!"

Blake(Yelling):"Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!!!"

The room becomes a deathly silent as we all look at Blake...she realizes what she's said and backs away

Blake:"--I..." She runs out of the room before anyone could say a thing. Ruby runs to the door

Ruby:"Blake! Wait! Come back!" It was too late, she was long gone...

(HO HO HOLY CRAP THAT WAS A LONG CHAPTER...and all of them become this long regularly later...oh boy just CAN'T WAIT for the V3 finale ._. probably gonna have to split the last episode alone into 3 parts...WHAT FUN! Anyways hope you guys all enjoyed!)
