Unable to make any headway of the complete meandering situation and menagerie of evidence Kurt suggest they should enlist the help from Dr. Digvijay Shankar, globally revered emeritus Indian professor of Hindu Archaeology specialising in Buddhism gifted with eidetic memory as suggested by Marcus before his death. Upon closer inspection of the evidence Dr. Digvijay enunciates that the number 8 carved on the bodies isn't actually what it seems rather it's the symbol of a serpent eating its own tail and further explains that in many cultures from time immemorial the symbol represents the concept of Infinity- the ceaseless flow of time. He further discloses that the symbol is usually associated with the Hindu mythology which speaks of an artifact of immense power ... 'The Kalachakra' better known as the 'Wheel of Time'. It is foretold in the prophecies of Buddhism that The Kalachakra is not meant for mere mortals and if used for personal gains it will bring forth the judgement day. But Kurt and Jessica still ponder over the slew of unrelated victims left in the wake of the assassin's heists and how it correlates with this new revelation. Dr. Digvijay implores the duo to investigate further about the ancestry of the victims which might offer some clue to this enigma. Jessica and Kurt split up to travel across the globe to gather information while Dr. Dr. Digvijay stays behind in a secret safehouse to research further into the evidence gathered.
