He reveals that the strange glowing light captured in the video footage is nothing other than Chi – the lifeforce of a living being that can be absorbed and be used in various ways both offensive and defensive. Dr. Digvijay confesses that although he had heard of such myths of Chi and how it can be manipulated, he didn't believe it to be real and now believes that the assassin is hunting for the final piece of the puzzle buried deep within the crypt of a sunken temple where it remains to this day. The trio visits the National Library to dig up more information about the symbol, artifacts and Chi where they are ambushed by the assassin and a few other thugs. Both Jessica and Kurt put up a fight and manages to subdue the assassin effortlessly much to their surprise. The assassin reveals she's just following orders from her mysterious benefactor and isn't acting out of her own volition, while her speech gradually becomes slurry. Amidst the chaos a cloaked figure catches the trio off guard and distracts them enough for the assassin to escape. In the altercation the assassin's gloves tears to reveal the hands of an old woman but to everyone's surprise she absorbs the chi from one of the unconscious thugs draining him of life while she regains her vigour. Dr. Digvijay discloses that the assassin has mastered the craft of harnessing chi to extend youth beyond norm which explains the withered corpses losing all vitality and her age undetermined. But the youth gained is temporary hence the assassin is leaving behind corpses drained of their life to extend her own. They learn about the location of the final artifact hidden somewhere within a sunken temple dedicated to Gautam Buddha himself near the Indian Ocean.
