Today I'm going to talk about one of the most important verses every Christian needs to know.

For God So Loved the world, that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

This is the core of our faith. This verse and and a few others, is what makes Christianity different from every religion in the world. That Jesus Christ, came down from his throne in heaven. And dwelt among us. That he saved us from our sins. And all we have to do is believe in him.

All the other religions are about how to make your way up to heaven. When in reality Jesus came down. He lived that perfect life we never could. He suffered and died for every single one of us. And He was tempted, we all know he was tempted.

So the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.-
John 1:14

I have a question for all of us, me included. How much do we really think about how, he was tempted Matthew 4:1-11 we all know that right. When Satan comes and tempts Jesus in the wilderness. Well think about Jesus being tempted in general. He became flesh, there for he was probably tempted by fleshly things.

We always talk about how he died. And that's the major part of him saving us. But that's not all of it. In order for him to be the sacrifice that could save us all. He had to be pure. He had to live a perfect life. He had resist the temptation of the lives we live.

The temptation, to do what our friends do. The temptation to disobey authority. The temptation to stay angry. He had to do the things we really don't like to do, with a smile. Never step out of bounds for his whole life. He loves us that much. Too not only die and be crucified. But to live that perfect life. To resist the temptation. He loves us more then we could ever comprehend.

One more thing before I post this.

For God so LOVED THE WORLD.
God loved everyone, and everything he created

That he gave his one and only begotten Son.
God loved everything he made so much that he gave his own son. And Jesus loved everyone so much that he sacrificed himself for all of us.

So that whoever believes in him SHALL NOT PARISH.
GOD DID NOT, DOES NOT, AND WILL NEVER, WANT US TO GO TO HELL. (And he didn't save us from death just so we could surrender to it)

But have eternal life.
All God wants is us to have a relationship with him. It's what He's wanted since the beginning. For us to praise, honor and worship Him.

But sometimes, sin binds us. It makes everything dark and We can't see God. That's when we have to be still. God's always calling out to us, all we have to do is listen.
