"I'll pray for you"

Question: Why should you choose to replace "I'll pray for you" with instant prayer?

Answer: If I have learned one thing in church this would be one of the main ones. I am so sick of saying "I'll pray for you" on social media posts and in-person then completely forgetting about the person's issue. Not only did you lie to the person, but you also didn't fulfill your duty as a Christian. When I see a social media post that is asking for prayer because of a bad problem that has happened I always say a quick prayer asking God to help that person. It only takes a minute, and praying is much better than scrolling down to the next post.

When someone in person asks me to pray for them. I do instantly. Hey, they asked, and I provided. Of course, I tell them I'm about to pray for them before taking their hand or placing a hand on their shoulder. Not only have you fulfilled a Christianly duty, but you also grew a stronger bond with the person you prayed for. If the person doesn't want me to pray for them at the moment then I pray for them as soon as I have alone time because the need to pray for them will linger in mind because I wasn't able to do it then.

Replacing "I'll pray for you." with actual prayer will be one of the best things you'll do.
