Ardan was shaken up by the feeling he got from the Chancellor's office the other day and has been reading none stop in the restricted section trying to figure out what it all meant but even Master Yoda wouldn't tell him.

Windu: You think he sensed the Emperor?

Master Mace Windu is walking down a hall with Master Yoda sat resting on his glider so he's able to keep up with the huge steps from the youngest Jedi Master in the Order's history.

Yoda: That or the future, it was.

Mace knew Ardan was and had the potential to be one of the most powerful Jedi's but even Master Yoda couldn't sense the Emperor's power.

Windu: What do you suggest?

Master Windu is one of the wisest Jedi's in the Order but even he is stumped by what's happening.

Yoda: Continue his training, you must. A Knight he must become.

Windu bowed to the Master Jedi and they both went in their own respective direction, Windu to find his Padawan and Master Yoda to find answers...

Windu and Ardan are back on the balcony where Ardan and Kyly trained a couple of days ago now just without their Lightsaber's and BD watching from nearby, both sat down legs crossed in a meditation position as Master Windu teaches Ardan the power of the Dark side.

Windu: Focus. Clear your mind. 

Master Windu wants to test Ardan's powers in both the Light and Dark side of the force, he's already seen him master many powers of the Light now it's time to test his Dark side.

Windu looked to a small bow in between them with nothing in it, the one power of the Dark side he wasn't able to Master is known as Convection, it's the power to control fire and manipulate temperatures.

Windu: You can do this...

Ardan focused and did all he can but couldn't do it, Ardan tried and tried to focus on the power he read about but couldn't channel the Dark side of the force.

Windu: ... Your fighting it. Don't fear the Dark side. Embrace it...

Ardan calmed down and focused on his Master's words trying to loss the fear of the Dark side of the Force, it's just not that easy considering the things he read about what the Sith has done with that power.

Windu: ... Let it run through you, the more you fight it the more you'll fear.

Ardan focused his power and force, not just the Dark but mixed both together and found it to be a more comfortable and not as terrifying for him and withing a few seconds a flame appeared in the bowl.

Windu: Excellent!

Master Windu was completely surprised by how quickly and how controlled the flame is, the bowl is made of wood and the fire isn't burning away at the flammable material.

Ardan: Oh, shit...

Ardan looked to his Master after the fire went out and looked in honest shock not sure of what happened, Ardan used both sides of the force to create the fire, he's not even sure how he did that but it worked.

Windu: You have completely exceeded my expectations. Youngling.

Ardan followed his Master when he stood up and he honestly seemed proud of what he has just seen while Ardan was still amazed he actually did that.

Windu: How do you feel?

Ardan followed his Master through the door and back into the Temple while BD climbed on his shoulder.

Ardan: I feel... 

Ardan isn't actually sure how to answer that, he can feel both the light and dark side of the force but his intentions haven't changed and to bring peace to the Galaxy is all he wants.

Ardan: ... I feel like a Jedi.

Master Windu looked to Ardan and actually seemed proud, Windu has been Ardan's Master since he was old enough to be a Padawan and he's seen the progress he's made in his training, no one has gone through what Ardan has but his will power to be the greatest Jedi he could be has made him the most powerful Master Windu has seen at his age.

Windu: Run along youngling.

Ardan did as Master Windu watched him leave, 16 years old and he has already combined the light and dark side of the force, it's something that he has never seen or even heard of in the history of the Jedi.

So when Ardan went to find Kyly to tell her about what he just done Master Windu made his way to the Council to address the attempt made on the Senator's life...

Master Windu is seated with the rest of the Council while Obi-Wan and Skywalker are in front of them after telling them the events of last night.

Yoda: Track down this bounty hunter you must, Obi-Wan.

Master Windu and the rest of the council agree but one more thing was on his mind.

Windu: Most importantly, find out who he's working for.

Obi-Wan didn't see a problem with that, he just seemed to be worried about leaving the Senator un guarded,

Obi-Wan: What about Senator Amidala? She will still need protecting.

Master Windu was mere seconds away from assuring him that Ardan will be more then capable of watching over the Senator when the Master Jedi spoke before him.

Yoda: Handle that your Padawan will.

Mace Windu was a little confused as to why he's want that but he's never question Master Yoda in anyway much less in front of the rest of the council.

Windu: Anakin, escort the Senator back to her home planet of Naboo. She'll be safer there. And don't use registered transport. Travel as refugees.

Master Windu instructed trying to keep the Senator as safe as possible, this is the plan he would have given to his Padawan, much the same but plans change.

Anakin: As the leader of the opposition, it will be very difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital.

Anakin seemed a little disheartened that he'd be missing out on a hunt for a bounty hunter but also pleased to be spending more time with Padme.

Yoda: Until caught this killer is, our judgement she must respect.

Yoda hummed having a plan of his own, Yoda understands that Ardan can either sense the Empire's hidden power or can see into the future, this is also difficult considering the Dark side blinds the future.

Windu: Anakin, go to the senate and ask Chancellor Palpatine to speak with her about this matter.

Both Obi-Wan and Anakin bowed to the council respectfully walking out the chamber, Anakin went off to speak with the Chancellor while Obi-Wan held back for Master Yoda and Master Windu hoping to seek their wisdom.

Obi-Wan: I am concerned for my Padawan. He is not ready to be given this assignment on his own yet.

Obi-Wan admits walking down the hall of the Jedi Temple with Master Windu to his left and Master Yoda hovering to his right.

Yoda: The Council is confident in it's decision, Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan listened to the much more experienced Jedi while walking towards his destination.

Windu: The boy has exceptional skills.

Windu seemed to say not really believing it himself.

Obi-Wan: But he still has much to learn, Master. His abilities have made him, well, arrogant.

They stopped walking as Obi-Wan turned to Master Windu but Yoda hovered in front of them drawing the attention to the floating green Jedi.

Yoda: Yes, yes. A flaw more and more commo among Jedi. Hmm. Too sure of themselves they are. Even the older, more experienced ones. Young Solari has come quite arrogant as well, hmm.

Yoda spoke truthfully as the Jedi have come to believe their unstoppable and why wouldn't they, the Empire has gone.

Windu: Remember, Obi-Wan, if the prophecy is true, your apprentice is the only one who can bring the Force back into balance.

Obi-Wan understood that and thought about it while about to leave his Masters but stopped when the conversation wasn't finished with.

Yoda: Obi-Wan...

Both Obi-Wan and Master Windu looked to the Master Jedi wondering what it is that he is going to say.

Yoda: Take, young Solari, you must. To the Icebound Caves of Ilum.

Obi-Wan was confused by this, Ardan isn't his Padawan nor does he need a Lightsaber so why.

Yoda: A Jedi Knight, he will become. A easy test this will be...

Master Yoda finished making Obi-Wan bow to both Masters before walking away Master Windu looked to Master Yoda and wondered.

Windu: Why have you sent my Padawan away?

Master Yoda and Master Windu continued to walk down the hall while the Master Jedi talked of his theory.

Yoda: The Emperor the boy sensed...

That was a shock to Master Windu as even Master Yoda couldn't sense his power.

Yoda: ... More powerful he can become. More training is needed.

Master Windu thought about his Padawan and how powerful he already is at the age of just 16, he can already out combat most Jedi Master's, he's nearly mastered the Force and has combined it with the Dark side while learning a power most Sith Lords struggle to acquire.

Yoda: Very powerful he can be. Very dangerous, he might become.

Master Windu looked to the Master Jedi hoping that he doesn't think that Ardan will turn to the Dark side.

Windu: You really believe he is capable of that?

Yoda stopped and turned to Master Windu as Windu stopped and turned to his oldest friend.

Yoda: We believed that of his brother, he got lost. Young Solari will do anything for his Brother. Keep them apart we must.

Master Windu remembered when he found out that Kobo didn't die and actually betrayed the Jedi Order, telling Ardan would have destroyed the young Jedi so all he did was bring back his brother's Saber hilt.

Yoda: If young Solari finds out his brother is alive, tragedy this could bring.

Master Windu remembered how powerful Kobo once was, nearly as powerful as Ardan but the Dark side was too tempting for the Jedi.

Windu: Do you believe Ardan is ready for the trials?

Very few Jedi have passed the trials and even less have actually managed to pass but they both have full confidence in the boy.

Yoda: Started he already has... 

Yoda and Master Windu went back to walking down the hall as Obi-Wan spoke to Ardan about him joining him on his journey while stopping of at the Icebound Caves along the way.

Yoda: ... Isolation, fear, anger, betrayal, focus, instinct, forgiveness. Trials he has already passed, Teamwork and protection, he will achieve with Obi-Wan's guidance. Return a Knight, he will.

Master Windu was proud to hear that his Padawan has succeeded where his Brother did, keeping Ardan and Kobo away from each other won't be as easy as they think, Kobo wants nothing more then to bring his brother to the Dark side.

Ardan is in the Jedi Library with Kyly having just finished telling her about his training with Master Windu.

Kyly: You what?

Ardan was a little confused to her being seemingly upset by it, Ardan wasn't actually sure what to say so just kept his mouth shut.

Kyly: You could be hurt, or what if you turn to the Dark side?

Ardan understood her worries but reassured her by calming her down and taking her hands in his.

Ardan: It's fine. I feel just the same as I have before. Besides with Master Windu teaching me, I can't be in safer hands when it comes to the Dark side.

Kyly calmed down a little and she told him about Master Plo teaching her Judgement Lightning, Ardan was impressed as she is just as powerful as he is and all the others, she just needs to believe in herself that little bit more.

Ardan: ... I have to go. I'm joining Master Kenobi on a assignment to the Icebound Caves.

Kyly now understood why Ardan's tied his brother hilt to his side, he's going to use that for his new Saber, the purple one he has was just a gift from Master Windu, till Ardan finished his training that is, then the Crystal can decide who he's meant to be.

Kyly though had another thought "What if he doesn't come back?" and "His brother left for an assignment at his age and never returned. Ardan could have the same fate!", Kyly worried in her mind and decided that she needed to get something off her chest so as Ardan stood up to leave, she shut her book and took his hand pulling him to a quite area of the library.

Ardan: What are you doing?

Ardan asked with a chuckle as Kyly looked around.

Ardan: I need to...

Ardan was cut off by Kyly holding his face and pressing her lips to his, Ardan was caught off at first but eventually gave in and enjoyed his first ever kiss until they pulled away but reluctantly not wanting to stop.

Kyly: Come back. Okay?

That moment is when Ardan really understood while the Jedi aren't aloud to get emotional involved with others but he didn't care, he's cared about Kyly since they first met and now he knows the feelings mutual.

Ardan: I promise. I'll come back when it's done.

Kyly smiled with a nod as Ardan held her face in his hands, Ardan kissed her this time with just a quick peck before turning to leave for his first assignment with Master Kenobi...
