No..I guess it's just a dream!!

"Hi dear,we are glad to meet you",said Mr.Andy Sehgal.

Yes...they are the Sehgals. Mahir's family is here...to see me...but how..how is it possible?

Did I jump into any fairytale or did they jump in my fairy world?

"Hi uncle..nice to meet you too",I said nervously.

"See beta..I guess you are a bit confused..but we are Mahir's parent's.We came with a marriage proposal here.Anything won't be against your wish here",Andy uncle said giving a warm smile.

I smiled back with that confused and nervous look on my face.

"So Mr.Sharma..as we informed you earlier Mahir has gone for shoot,he will be back day after.It's better we set up a meeting for them after he comes back",Andy uncle said.

"Oh..that's absolutely fine Mr.Andy. Mrs.Malhotra informed us.You can talk to Bela now,we will set up another meeting for them both",my dad said putting his hands on my shoulder.

"Bela,can I talk to you"?Sumitra aunty asked.

"Yes aunty you can..you don't need to ask",I said giving her a warm smile.

I went and sat between her and Kuhu.

"See beta..my son Mahir..as you know he is a model and celebrity,there will be a number of roumers about him in the news daily.That's the media's job,spoiling someone's image and life with a single article.But he is not like that.I'm his mother..I know what he is.We won't force you to meet him until and unless you are interested to meet him",she said patting my cheek.

I don't know what to say!!

It's too much to take in at a time..firstly,Mahir..who used to be my crush..is going to be my groom if I say 'yes' and secondly,Sumitra aunty is saying about his character to me.

I don't know what to say now..should I say yes to meet him?

My cheeks are burning with the heat just after listening to his name..how will I feel when I will meet him as my groom?

"Say something beta"?she was waiting for my answer.

I looked at my mom,and she nodded.

"That's fine aunty..I'm OK to meet him..but I'm not used to this media world.They will spot him everywhere..and if they spot him with me..",
"We will take care of the Bela bhabi..we will take care of the media.You and bhai just talk peacefully",Yuvi said winking.

What bhabi? So soon?

"Bela can I ask you one thing"?Sumitra aunty asked.

"Sure aunty..please don't hesitate to ask",I said.

"Beta..I liked you at the first sight.Not only me..our whole family liked you at the first sight.We felt a positive vibe from you..a family vibe with which we all are comfortable.We are strongly feeling that it's going to be a yes from you...but we will wait for your answer.We won't force you.Meet Mahir and let us know your decision",she said caressing my head.

Now I don't know what to say!!

"Mahir was the one who asked us to go for a bride hunt dear,we found you perfect for him from every corner.I'm sure you will make a wise decision,there will be no pressure from any of us.Just meet him and get to know him",Andy uncle said.

"Of course dad..she will be perfect for Mahir bhai and I'm sure he will fall flat after looking at her",Kuhu said.

Now I was trying to hide my blush..where should I hide now?

"Sure uncle..I will meet him.I..I will meet him",I said.

"Thank you beta...my son loves me a lot...he will give the same love to the women who will come as his life partner.Just trust him",Sumitra aunty said.

I nodded giving a small smile!!

"We will be so lucky to have you as our daughter beta...I really hope you like him",she said.

"OK then,we will leave Mr.Sharma.Mahir will come day after,and then let's set up a meeting for them",Andy uncle said.

"Yeah sure,take care and we are hoping to meet you again.I just hope they both get to know each other",my dad said.

"Bye soon-to-be our bhabi...we love you're cafe food,let's meet there one day",Yuvi said and I nodded smiling.

But what is this bhabi game? I mean so soon?

"Bye Bela bhabi..I mean Bela..we are hoping for a positive answer from you",Kuhu said giving me a side hug.

I hugged her back and caressed her cute baby bump.

"Bye beta,take care.We will talk to you day after again after you meet Mahir",Sumitra aunty said.

"Bye aunty..you too take care",I said.

They all left our home and I started breathing again.I mean the Sehgals?

Mahir...Mahir as my groom?

And my parent's are OK with this proposal?

"Bela beta..what are you thinking"?my mom asked sitting beside me.

"Are you both OK with this proposal?I mean are you OK with Mahir"?I asked.

"I understood what you are thinking Bela.It is his job to do all those shoots and media being media..you know.He is a good person Bela.I trust him.But there is no pressure from any of us.If you say 'no',it will be a 'no'from us",my dad said hugging me.

"It's nothing like that dad..I liked his family..I will meet him day after",I said.

"Thank you beta",my mom said kissing my forehead.

I went to my room thinking about what just happened.Mahir..who used to be my crush..I'm going to meet him..as..god what has happened suddenly?

That means Malhotra aunty knows them too,she arranged this.

But I'm nervous..I just started hating him after knowing about his relationship with K.How will I accept him..as my husband.

"Shut up Bela! You don't know anything about him...how can you judge him just like that",I said to myself.

I opened my phone and saw the Instagram flooded with his new photoshoot pictures along with that girl.

He really looks good..but not with that girl!!

"It's OK Bela..just meet him once and get all your doubt's cleared",I said patting my cheeks.

But even after my stupid doubt's gets cleared,will I be ready to marry him?

Ahh..after a long hectic schedule I'm going back to my home town.Finally the last fucking shoot with her is over.

I'm just waiting to go home soon to see my parent's loosing the bride hunt game.No way they could have found a girl..a perfect girl for me!

"Come on Mahir..you will win this game.I can enjoy my single life for few more years",I said to myself.

I reached my home at midnight and everyone are asleep.I will meet them tomorrow morning.I took a shower and hopped on my bed for a tight sleep.

"Mahir bhai..Mahir bhai",I felt someone shaking me.

I opened my eyes and saw mom,dad,Yuvi and Kuhu.

"Good morning to spoil my morning..why did you wake me up",I threw a pillow on Yuvi who dodged it easily.

"We need to tell you something..now get up Mahir bhai",Kuhu said shaking me.

"OK..I'm up..now what is it"?I said yawning.

"How was the shoot and everything Mahir"?my dad asked.

"It went well dad..the collection has got a good review",I said.

"Leave all this Andy..he just came.Don't talk about your works now",mom said caressing my head while I was resting on her lap.

"Mom...tell him now...I mean right now",I heard Yuvi and Kuhu whispering.

"Mahir we found  a perfect and beautiful girl for you",my mom said and I woke up with a jerk.

"What? What...I mean..you found a girl for me? So soon"?I asked with a shocked expression.

"Yes child we won this bride hunt game",my dad smirked.

"And you know what Mahir bhai..she is so beautiful,you will be whipped after looking at her",Yuvi said.

What the fuck? My parent's are never gonna loose?

They found a girl in just three days?

"OK all of you don't shout,I will talk to him.You all go out now",my mom said and they all left winking at me.

"Mom are you serious?Like is it for real?You found a girl for me"?I asked.

She gave a small smile and caressed my cheek
"Mahir just listen carefully what I'm going to say now. OK"?she said.

I nodded feeling confused.

"Mahir I dint expect that I will find a girl for you in these three days,but I found a perfect girl for you and this family.She is such a sweetheart.I just got a good vibe from her.She will be perfect for you..you both will look great together.But she is not used to this colorful world like us,a bit introvert.She doesn't like this media and all..I mean you both have a completely opposite lifestyles..but trust me beta...you both will be perfect for each other",my mom said and I don't know what to say.

"But mom..if our lifestyles doesn't match..how can we both be happy"?I asked.

She gave a knowing smile and said
"I knew that you will ask this question.I won't answer this question of your's..you will get your answer after meeting her".

"Meeting"?I asked.

"We already met her..only you are left.Today you are going to meet her at Rosa Parks at 4:30.We made a reservation for you both over there.Talk to her,get to know each other and tell us your decision",mom said.

Isn't it too fast?

"It's too late actually..do you want to see her picture"?my mom said.

Did I say it that loud?

"Yes and you are still saying it",she said.

"No..I will meet her directly",I said.

"That's like my son..don't put yourself busy at that time.And be ready to meet your soon-to-be wife",my mom said leaving my room.

Soon-to-be wife?

Did that girl cast some spell on my family?

"Mahir bhai..",Yuvi and Kuhu came and sat beside me.

"Did you guys like her"?I asked them.

"Bhai we loved her..she is such a sweet girl.And you know what..she is the owner of 'Sip and Snack',the cafe from which we order our favorite desert's",Kuhu said.

"Oh..that's why you like her"?I asked.

"No bhai..she is really a sweet girl,I want her as my bhabi..and you both will make a great pair",Kuhu said dreamily.

These people are making her sit on the top..is she really that good?

"I have her picture in my phone..you want to see"?Yuvi asked.

I glared at him and a message popped in my phone.I opened that message and there was a crazy emoji picture sent by Yuvi.

"You idiot...",I was throwing all my pillows on him and Kuhu was laughing looking at our banter.

"Ohooo..you being such a despo to see her",Yuvi said while escaping from me.

"Just shut up Yuvi..don't mess with me",I said sitting on my bead.

"Mahir bhai..come on now don't get tensed. I've met her..we all met her.Just trust me..you too won't be disappointed after meeting her.She has got all the qualities that you wanted in your life partner.Now meet her,get to know her and tell your decision",Kuhu said side hugging me.

"Yes Mahir bhai..everything will be alright.Don't get tensed.Meet her.I've send her pictures to your mobile.We arranged your meeting at the evening,get ready for it",he said sitting beside me.

"OK..I'm fine now.Just leave me alone for some time..OK"?I asked.

"Yeah take some rest and feel fresh for the evening",he said and left my room.

"RJ told that he is coming day after tomorrow,did he inform you"?I asked Kuhu.

"Yeah he did,he saw her photo and even he liked her",Kuhu said.

Everyone are in that girl's thoughts only!!

"Oh..OK..you also take some rest now",I said kissing her forehead.She left my room closing the door.

I took a shower and lit a cigarette,a stress reliever for me!

"OK Mahir..it's OK..let's meet her and see",I said to myself while puffing my cigarette.

My hands were itching to open my mobile and see her pictures...but no.I will meet her directly.

It was evening and my dad had sent my outfit for the day.I dressed in that and I was spraying my favorite perfume.Mom and dad entered my room.

"You are looking perfect",my mom kissed my cheek and I kissed her back.

"Don't skrew up Mahir..be nice to her and ya did you see her picture"?my dad asked.

"I won't skrew up and yes I dint see her picture",I said.

"Then how will you recognize her"?my mom asked.

"Yuvi gave me the details of the restaurant,table no.7,I will meet her",I said.

"OK as you wish,but be careful and take care of her.She doesn't like the media just like you,she is scared that they will spot her too if they will spot you..so take care of her",my mom said.

"OK mom..I will take care of all that.Can I leave now"?I asked.

"Yes and all the best beta..I hope you make a wise decision",my parents said.

I left from my home thinking how will this meeting go.I just hope I shouldn't spoil this.

I was still feeling to see her picture but no...I want to see her directly.

Yuvi and her father Mr.Sharma made all the arrangements for our meeting.There was no paparazzi out over here,thank god!!

I entered the restaurant and I got a call from an unknown number.Who is it?

"Hello,Mahir?"the opposite person asked.

"Speaking.Who is this"?I asked.

"Hello beta,I'm Anand Sharma..Bela's father",he said.

"Bela"?I asked.

"Yeah..Bela,the girl whom you are going to meet",he said.

Oh so her name is Bela!! Such a sweet name.

I forgot to ask her name also..stupid me!!

"Oh..hi uncle..nice to talk to you.How are you"?I asked formally.

"I'm fine beta.Actually there was some confusion in the reservations at the last moment,Bela is waiting at table no.6.Meet her over there",he said.

"Hmm..ya sure uncle,thank you",I said and hanged up.

"Come on Mahir..let's go",I said to myself and went through.

"Welcome sir...your reserved table no."?the manager asked.

"Yeah..table no.6",I said.

"Yes this way sir",he said leading me to a private corner.

"That's the one sir,enjoy your evening",he said leaving me.

I could see a girl waiting in a blue dress,which was matching with my tux.I could only see her back.

"You will see her face if you go forward you idiot",my subconscious mocked me.

"OK..I'm going",I said and went straight.

Just as I entered the private cabin..I saw her...I saw her...the air from my lungs knocked out.

The time just stopped in Mahir Sehgal's world!!

These were the words running in my mind when I saw her.She was waiting for me..I could see nervousness on her face.

I made myself comfortable and went forward to meet her.I went and stood in front of her...and she saw me.

She stood up immediately,she was looking nervous..so nervous!!

"Hi...I..I'm Mahir..Mahir Sehgal",I extended my hand.

"Umm..hi..I..I'm..I'm Bela Sharma",she said with a trembling voice and forwarded her hand for a handshake.

Goosebumps erupted all over my body..they were just hidden under the layers of my clothes!!

Her touch...her touch is making me go crazy.

Her big dow shaped eyes,her cute button nose,her pink rosy lips..I wonder how soft they would be!!

She is so simple,beautiful and she looks so innocent...I'm already whipped I guess.

"Please take your seat",I said.

"Yeah thank you",she said with a small smile.

Utter silence!!

I couldn't utter a single word..I'm just blank..I guess it's been five minutes,I've been staring at her.

She was looking at me eventually,looking away..and there was silence from her too.

She really casted a spell on me..no doubt.I'm not able to look away from her...she is just pulling my vision towards her.

I could only hear the sound of her bangles while she was rubbing her palms,her ear rings twinkling,her long and black tresses disturbing her view..and she tucked them behind her ear's.

And my heart was drumming in my ears..adrenaline rush?

Will it be this magical?I finally experienced..experienced the magic of love in first sight.

I never thought I would be this speechless after looking at a girl..I'm stoned!!

I really wonder why dint she come into my life earlier?

OK,let's talk something,she must have taken me in a wrong way..or worst thinking that I'm gawking at her.

Fuck...actually yes..I am gawking at her!!

"Uh..I..how are you"?I asked,cause I don't know how to start.

"I'm..I'm fine,how are you"?she asked.

"I'm good too,I had a shoot and returned today..so a bit tired",I said looking at her.

"Oh..um..how was the shoot"?she asked and I guess she regretted it after asking.I could sense that by her expressions.

"I'm sorry..I dint mean to ask just like that...,
"Oh that's absolutely fine..the shoot was not bad",I said and she smiled.

Her cheeks were turning pink!!

"So I'm CEO of our company 'The White' and a model too in my own company",I said giving a small smile.

"Yeah I know..I mean..that's great",she said hiding her blush..I guess.

"I'm an MBA graduate and I own a cafe of my own..it's..'Sip and Snack'",she said.

"Yeah I heard about it..the dessert's are too good over there,my family is a fan of them",I said like a teenage boy.

"Thank you..don't you like dessert's"?,she asked.

"It's not like that..but I don't have a sweet tooth..so I never tasted,but I think I have to go for it now",I replied and she blushed turning her beautiful face away.

There was silence again,I guess she knows me like every other girl..of course me being a celebrity and a global crush.And that's why she is feeling so shy..I guess?

"So..can I ask you something"?finally she initiated something.

"Sure..feel free to ask",I said.

"Why did you opt for an arranged marriage?I mean you are a celebrity,a famous personality..every girl is behind you..but then why an arranged marriage"?she asked.

But I could hear only her sweet voice,I've become deff for the other words!!

"OK..so let me get it straight.My parent's had a love marriage,my little sister Kuhu also had a love marriage,I adore both the couples.Every time when they look at each other..there will be a new spark..the spark which says that they belong to each other for the rest of their life.I dint find that spark in any of the girls I dated.I couldn't find a right person for myself.So I gave this responsibility to  mom and dad and they did a great job in it",I finished staring at her.

She was listening to me keenly,and blushed when I said those last words.

"Sorry to ask..how many girls have you dated"?she asked hesitantly.

Fuck yes...she has every right about asking me this question.Well..because she is gonna spend rest of her life with me.

Hell yes...I wouldn't let her go...I'm already falling for her!!

"Sorry if I said something wrong",she said.

"No..no,you have every right to know.I had a fair share of girlfriends back in the college and when I was a teen too,but they never lasted more than a month or so",I joked and she laughed along with me.

"So you've never been in a serious relationship"?she asked.

"Um..no I guess..not even one",I said.

"Oh",was her only reply.

I think she is feeling insecure!!

"Why did you go for an arranged marriage?"I asked.

"I..I never had any marriage thoughts until my parents told about it three days back..and I never fell in love so..I gave the opportunity to my parent's just like you",she said.

"You dint have any boyfriends?I mean you are so beautiful,I'm sure every guy must have been back of you",I asked and she was amused.

"No..no..I was always single..I mean it's true that boys were back of me..but I maintained my distance",she replied.

"Wow..that's really cool",I said.

Lucky are those boys..to stay away from her.She is mine..god..what am I thinking?

"So Bela..I just want to ask one last question..do you mind"?I asked politely.

"Yeah sure,you can",she replied.

"If by chance we get married,our life's will change.I mean we both will start a new life together,in which my family also plays an important role.Would you feel that the family is not needed..I mean..will you feel that..
"If I get married to you and enter your life and home,you'rs everything will be mine..including family.Your family will be my family..I too know the importance of a family..so I would never think of separating you from your family",she completed.

"I dint mean it in a wrong way..it's just that the generation you know...",I covered.

"I completely understand,but no girl will separate her man from his family after leaving her own family for them,she will be needing that family's love from her in laws,a homely feeling",she said.

I'm smitten...not just by her beauty,but even by her words.

It's already a 'yes' from me...I just hope she liked me..of course every girl likes me,but she is different.

"I'm impressed Bela..truly..to find a girl like you in this generation is too hard,but my parent's found you and I'm glad",I shamelessly said it.

She was out of words..maybe I went too fast?

"Don't think that I'm asking for an immediate answer..I just gave my opinion.You can take you're time to give your opinion about this marriage",I said and she seemed to be a bit relaxed.

"Ahh..I..it's nothing like that..but..I want to..never mind",she dint complete.

OK I got it..I know what she wants to ask!!

"I know Bela,I know that you want to ask.I will tell you.It's true that I was a playboy.I mean I 'was'.I slept with many girls..and being a celebrity,the town always finds a new cooked up story about me.My family or friends never get affected by this because they know who I am,and yeah you have every right to know",I said.

"No..no..I dint mean to ask like that..it was just talk of the town..and I really don't care about all gossip's..especially when it comes to yo..I mean when it comes to celebrities",she said.

"It's OK..so you like baking"?I asked trying to make the air thin.

"I love baking.It's not just my passion,but it's my everything.I developed that interest since my childhood and my mom and dad supported me in every way",she said with a proud smile.

"That's really great",I replied.

"Bela..I want to say it straight..I liked you..more than I thought",and I said it out.

She was shocked!!

"I'm really hoping to spend rest of my life with you,I never felt this strong connection with any other girl.You are something special and I like that speciality in you.It's a 'yes' from me",I said.

I think I went too fast..I have to.Because I don't want to loose her!!

"Can I ask you one last question"?she asked.

"Yes"?I replied.

"You are famous..most wanted guy,a global crush..every girl is back of you..you could find any girl.But why me?Me being a common girl who is not used to this colorful world.Why me"?she asked and I felt her insecurity.

I gave a small smile and answered
"Trust me Bela..I came here to reject this proposal,in fact I dint even see you're picture nor I dint knew your name.I just thought to come casually and reject this proposal.But the moment I saw you...my motive changed.My perception towards you changed.I saw the need and intention to stay in my life from other girls,but I just saw a pure honesty in you Bela.I fell over there for you.You are special..I mean different from other girls.Just the way I want my better half to be",I said.

And I guess that's so much for her to take in and she is gulping it.

"There is no pressure from me Bela,I genuinely liked you.I will be waiting for your answer..if it's a 'yes',then I will be waiting to spend rest of my life with you",I said staring into her eyes.

"I..I..,
"No hurry,it's a decision which will decide rest of our life,go home and think about it peacefully.Me and my family will be waiting for the answer",I said.

She nodded with a smile!!

Ahh..that smile..god has no mercy on me today.She is killing me with her killer smile.

"By the way my name is Mahir.You dint call me once with my name today",I joked.

"No..no..I mean..it just..I dint get the chance to call",she said.

I was just admiring her,her eyes...god,she is made for me!!

"OK I think I should leave now,I will let you know my decision by tonight Mahir",she said with a small tint of blush on her cheeks.

My name sounds so fucking good from her!!

"Yeah that's cool Bela.We will be waiting",I said and got up.

We both were leaving the cabin,there was my security waiting outside for us.Dad and Yuvi arranged it,we want everything to be private.So no single piece of news about my marriage should reach them.

"That's my security out there,they will reach you home safe and sound without any media hunt",I assured her.

"Thank you",she said with a wide smile.

"It's nice to meet you Bela..hoping to meet you again",I forwarded my hand.

"It was nice meeting you too.I will leave now,take care,bye",she said like a small kid.

Cutie!!

"You too,bye",I said shaking my hands once again with her.

The goosebumps again and I could feel my heart pumping very fastly and I guess I could hear hers too.

She left with my security and I was still standing there like a statue from an ancient museum.

I'm whipped very badly..I never felt this strong attraction..never before in my life!!

I want her to be my 'wife'and I want to be her 'husband'.
