Two weeks have gone by and Tenma has been training his powers. He learned how to fight more and use his powers in different ways. Like he can make some projectiles, create his sword, and increase his speed. He and the others discovered that his power was 'Air/Wind'. Kidou guessed that there are other abilities in the power. Like teleportation. Now today was Friday, everyone was in the clubroom when coach Endou was given a letter.

Tenma's POV:

Coach Endou received a letter and me and the others listened to what he said.

"Alright everyone, tomorrow we're gonna have a practice match against.. The team in Okinawa, " coach Endou said.

I was shocked, a match against a team from where I live. I didn't have a good feeling about this. What if they recognize me. I hope not.

"That's great, I felt like we hadn't had a match like forever," Nishiki said.

"Hai, even if it's been like five weeks, it does feel like a long time," Hamano said.

"Isn't that where you lived Tenma?" Shinsuke said as he looked at me.

"Hai," I replied.

"Tenma, do you know the team in Okinawa?" Shindou asked.

"No, I have only been there for a few years and I don't know anything about the team," I replied.

"It's alright, it's better if we go against them to see how strong they are," Kageyama said.

"I can't wait to see what Okinawa looks like," Akane said.

I smiled as I saw my friends excited about tomorrow. But, I'm not sure if I am. I then started to look back at the memories I had before.

Third POV:

*Flashback 1*

A five-year-old Tenma was playing with his mother and a man with brown hair, wolf ears and tail was getting ready for work. He grabbed his bag and looked at his wife and kid.

"I'm off to work now, bye," Tenma's father said. Tenma got up and went to his father to give him a hug.

"Bye dad," Tenma said. he then let go of the hug.

"Be careful hunny," Tenma's mother said to her husband.

"I will, bye," He said with a smile and left.

Tenma and his mother waited for him to come home. When it reached night time, he didn't come back home. The father always comes back home before night. The mother suspected that something was wrong so she called the police. The police went to where the father worked and he wasn't there. The investigation of the father going missing went on for two months, and nothing. Soon the police declared that he was dead. Tenma and his mother's heart broke that someone they lost was gone. Five months later, someone knocked on the door and it was the brother of Tenma's mother. Tenma was upstairs in his bedroom so the man didn't see Tenma yet.

"Hey nii-san, what are you doing here?" she asked her brother.

"My wife kicked me out so I left the house and I didn't have any other place to go other than here. I hope you can let me stay," he said. The mother pitied her brother and let him stay.

"I heard you already have a kid, where is he?" he asked.

"He's upstairs, I will call him," she said and faced the stairs, "Tenma, can you please come down here. I want to introduce you to your uncle.

"Coming mom!" Tenma replied and went downstairs. He went beside his mother's side. When the brother of the mother saw him, he seemed shocked.

"Oh, so this is your child?" he asked.

"Hai," the mother replied.

After days went by, everything was great, Tenma's mother found a job and asked her brother to take care of Tenma for her. He agreed. After the mother left, her brother went to the couch and sat down checking his phone. Tenma then went to him holding a soccer ball.

"Uncle, can we play please," Tenma said.

"Can't you see I'm busy," Tenma's uncle said in a cold tone.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you weren't so I just wanted to ask yo-" Tenma was about to finish his sentence when he shouted.

"Shut up!" he said and he got up from the couch and kicked Tenma. Tenma hit the ground hard and he had a hard time getting up. Tenma's uncle then smirked.

"You better not tell your mother about this or I'll make your life hell," he threatened.

Tenma didn't tell his mother about this when she arrived. Everyday Tenma would get abused by his uncle and Tenma would lie to his mother. When she found out, for some reason she didn't kick his brother out or even call the police. Instead, she would always help Tenma heal his injuries and comfort him.

*Flashback 2*

After the accident of Tom getting hit by a car and being in a coma, in a house a man with black fade to dark brown hair, wolf ears, and tail punched Tenma and he hit the wall. Tears were forming in his eyes and he was too hurt to get up.

"It should have been you that got hit by that car!" the man shouted, "I wish you were dead."

"Nii-san stop it!" Tenma's mother said as she went to Tenma and helped him up. Tenma's mother then brought him to the bedroom and grabbed a first aid kit. She then aided Tenma's scratches and bruises.

"Mom, is it really my fault that," Tenma said as some tears started to form into his eyes.

"No it's not, don't blame yourself," the mother said.

"But, uncle and Tom's parents' said it was," Tenma said. His mother then hugged him.

"Don't listen to them, stay strong Tenma, alright," she said. Tenma hugged back.

*Flashback 3*

After Timmy went missing, no one wanted to go near Tenma. Some students feared him and some bullied and beat him up. The teachers didn't even try to stop them. Rumors spread about him in the town, some of them said that the reason why his father and Tom going missing is that they think he was just acting innocent so that people would get captured by Nemesis. And a rumor was that Tom was hit by a car because it was a set up by Nemesis and that Tenma was just to lure Tom into saving him. And there were more rumors, no one cared for Tenma cause of dumb beliefs.

The only person that cared was his mother. He never had friends, in fact, no one else wanted to be friends with him. He felt like no one cared about him, he also felt like someday his mother would hate him too. Everyone hated him but his mother.

In school, some kids were bullying him and beating him up.

"What makes you think your one of us?" one of the older students said.

"Don't you think everything was just a coincidence, it's clear that anyone you're with something bad happens to them. Not to mention your father and Timmy went missing, Nemesis might have kidnapped them. And then theirs Tom who was almost got ran over and killed. You're, cursed," another student said.

"Also you will just backstab everyone, and who knows, someday you might even call Nemesis to destroy the town," another student said.

"B-but... I never.. Did anything to... h-hurt you guys," Tenma stuttered. Then one of the students kicked him.

"Soon you will better stay away from us," another student said, "monster."

They then left him alone.

*End of Flashbacks*

Tenma's POV:

I started to feel upset about the memories I had in Okinawa. I wasn't paying attention to anything.

"Hello?" I heard someone said.

I snapped out of my trance and looked who said, Aoi said that.

"Earth to Tenma, are you there?" she said. Tsurugi had his hand on my shoulder.

"He seems to be alright now," Tsurugi said as he puts his arm down and slightly backs away.

"Sorry guys, I was just thinking about something, sorry to worry you guys," I said.

"Are you alright?" Midori asked.

"Hai," I replied.

"Are you sure, you don't seem alright," Kariya said. Kirino then hits Kariya on the back of the head.

"Kariya, you shouldn't say that," Kirino said.

"It seemed like something was bothering you since coach Endou mentioned Okinawa, you were acting a little different. So what's wrong?" Shindou said.

I couldn't hide it anymore so I told them. But not everything. (He told them the flashback 3 and the reason why the people there thought of the rumors). After I told them everything, I saw everyone was shocked.

"I can't believe that happened cause of a dumb belief," Kurama said.

"They really overthought this," Minamisawa said.

"Now that you mention it Tenma, it must be pretty hard to move on from that, " Kuramada said.

I still felt upset about this. I then felt someone tap my shoulder I looked to my right and it was Kageyama.

"It wasn't your fault Tenma," Shinsuke said.

"And also, the people there might not remember it, so you don't worry," Amagi said.

"Yeah, if I was there I wouldn't believe the rumors. Also most importantly," Midori said as she got up from her seat. She then took a deep breath.

"Does he even look like someone who would work for Nemesis?! There's no way he is one! Chosen one or not! He also doesn't have the qualities of working for Nemesis! He is nice, caring, kindhearted," Midori continued and I couldn't help but smile

"Midori, you might run out of breath, " Akane said. And Midori stopped and took some breaths.

"Thanks, guys, " I said with a smile.

"That's what friends are for, " Midori said.

"Also I noticed something, " Nishiki said, this caught everyone's attention.

"Midori, you become very overprotective when it comes to Tenma," Nishiki said, "is it because you have a-"

"Nishiki!" Midori interrupted. Me and the others couldn't help but laugh for a bit at the two.

I stopped and smiled. The past may be bad, but the future might be better. I now have people that care about me. I will do anything to protect the people I care about as well as everyone else.

"I'm not alone anymore," I said in my thoughts.
