Third POV:

The next morning, everyone woke up and got ready for the day. They went to the cafeteria for breakfast and ate. After that, they had free time before their first activity.

Tenma's POV:

I was talking with my friends when I saw someone in the corner of my eye. In the forest, I saw a figure, it was a human girl older than me with blue hair fade to sky blue hair. She wore a blue and white jacket and gray pants. She also wears black and blue fingerless gloves. I couldn't see her face since her bangs covered her eyes. When I blinked, she was gone.

"Who was she?" I said in my thoughts.

I then heard someone mention my name and I snapped out of my thoughts. I looked and saw my friends were worried.

"Tenma, are you alright?" Aoi asked.

"Hai, " I said with a smile.

"Why were you staring at the forest?" Shindou asked.

"Oh, you guys didn't see her?" I asked.

"See who?" Riku asked.

I was shocked at this but then calmed down.

"Never mind, it must have been my imagination, " I replied as I rubbed the back of my head.

"Of you say so, " Riku said.

After a while, we were called by Charis and Alisa cause it was time for our first activity.

"Alright everyone, since you guys just arrived yesterday, our first activity will be 'Hide and Seek'. But there's a twist, " Charis said, "You guys can hide anywhere around the campus but don't go too far. Me and my crew will be the ones to find you all and you all will have one minute to hide. Me and my crew only have two hours to find you all. The last one to be found is the winner. So are you all ready?"

"Hai!" Me and my friends said.

"Alright, once me and my crew enter the headquarters and close the door, you all will start hiding, " Charis said.

Charis and her crew went into the headquarters and once Charisk closed the door. Me and my friends split up and hid. I looked for a hiding spot and got an idea.

Third POV:

Meanwhile with Charis and her crew.

"Who do you guys think is gonna win?" Shadow asked.

Everyone but Charis said who they think is gonna win and for different reasons.

"Hey, sis, who do you think is gonna win?" Alisa asked.

"Well, I believe in all of them, and besides this is just for fun. It sometimes doesn't matter who wins or loses, as long as everyone is having fun, " Charis said with a smile.

"Same as ever Charis, " Glitch said with a smile.

When one minute has passed, Charis and her crew came out and started searching for Tenma and his friends. After ten minutes have passed, Charis and her crew found some of them. Memory and Alisa found Kariya, Hamano, and Hayami were hiding in the cabins. After another ten minutes, Memory and Emily found Midori and Nishiki who were hiding by the river. Bella and Galaxia then found Kageyama and Amagi who were hiding in the storage room. After ten more minutes have passed, Charis and Glitch found Aoyama, Ichino, and Gin in the cafeteria kitchen. After fifteen minutes have passed, Sasha and Shadow found Kurama, Kuramada, and Sangoku hiding behind some rocks and in trees. Fifteen minutes later again, Charis and Glitch found Aoi who was hiding behind bushes and Shinsuke who was hiding in a pile of rocks through a small hole he could fit through.

An hour has passed, one more hour left before times up.

After Charis and her crew cleared out the first area, they went to the other side of the river. They searched and after ten minutes, Emily, Galaxia, and Bella found Kura and Minamisawa who were hiding in the storage room. Fifteen minutes later, Sasha, Shadow, and Glitch found Riku and Tsurugi hiding in the forest in the trees. Ten minutes later, Alisa and Memory found Akane hiding in the garden. After fifteen minutes later again, Charis found Kirino and Shindou hiding in the Scouts building.

An hour and forty minutes have passed, twenty minutes remaining. The last one hiding is Tenma.

"Alright, it seems like Tenma is the last one, but where is he," Alisa said.

Everyone didn't know where Tenma went off to, but Tsurugi and Riku said they saw him ran the other direction of the forest. They went there and searched for Tenma. They called out and no response, Tenma's friends started to worry about him, until they heard a familiar voice.

"I'm up here!" it was Tenma.

They looked around and were confused. But when Shindou looked at one of the tall trees with a lot of leaves, he then noticed a slight movement in the leaves. Tenma then popped out and waved at his friends. Everyone saw him and were surprised.

"Hey guys," Tenma said with a smile.

"Oh, there you are Tenma, you made us worry," Aoi said.

"Sorry about that," Tenma said and then got down.

"That was a very good hiding spot, how did you climb it very fast, for humans the time to get here takes at least half a minute or less and depending on the tree size, it would take a long time to climb that high. How are you that fast?" Charis said with an impressed smile.

"Now that Charis mentions it, Tenma can catch up to us okamimimis very well in running, but climbing really did surprise me," Riku said.

"Oh, well back in Okinawa when I was young, I use to climb trees a lot, so I kinda have experience," Tenma said.

"Well, it really did pay off," Shindou said with a smile and Tenma smiled in response.

Everyone went back to where they started and headed to the cafeteria for lunch. After that, they had free time again.

Tenma's POV:

Me and my friends had fun in hide and seek. After lunch I talked to my friends, later I excused myself to use the restroom, and when I came out and was about to go talk to my friends again, I saw Charis go into the forest without anyone else noticing her. I was curious where she was going so I decided to follow her without her noticing me. After walking for a long time, I continued to follow Charis and we ended up in a cliff that looked familiar to my dream when I talked to Nozomi. Charis just stood there looking up at the sky and I saw she had a sad expression.

I stepped back and broke a tree branch, making a little noise. I hid behind a tree and I peeked out and saw Charis looking.

"Who's there?" Charis said.

I sighed and came out. This surprised Charis.

"Tenma, what are you doing here?" Charis asked.

"Well, I saw you go here by yourself and I got curious," I replied as I rubbed the back of my head.

"Although, I got to admit the view here is beautiful, do you always come here by yourself?" I asked.

"Well, yeah," Charis said, "This is my favorite spot, I really like the view and you can also see the entire camp."

Charis said as she faced the view.

"And it also reminds me of someone," Charis said in a sad tone. She then went closer to the cliff and looked down.

"Who?" I asked.

Charis sighed and said, "Come sit beside me and I'll tell you, but you have to promise not to tell anyone alright."

"Hai," I replied and did as she said.

"Well, Alisa isn't my only sibling, I also have another. His name was Etherio Starlight, my brother," Charis said, "He was very smart, kind, and caring. Me, Alisa, and my brother would play together when we were young. We would go to our favorite area which was a cliff with a beautiful view. We would view the stars from there. We were very careful.

I was surprised that Charis had a brother. I smiled to know how good of a person her brother was.

"Well, where is he now?" I asked.

Charis's eyes widened and then she looked down, her bangs covering her eyes and then I saw some tears coming down.

"I-I'm sorry, you don't have to talk about it if you don't feel comfortable talking about it," I said trying to calm her down.

"No, it's fine, I know I can trust you even if we just met," Charis said as she wiped her tears, "Well, in short terms, my brother, is... Gone."

I was shocked and felt really bad.

"I know you're wondering what happened, I'll tell you. It started when some kids were bullying me at the cliff, me, and my siblings' favorite spot. My brother and sister saw this happening. One of the bullies went far and was about to punch me cause I talked back. When they were about to push me, my brother pushed me out of the way only for him to get punched hard and fall off the cliff. I tried to grab him but it was too late. I had to watch him fall into the water and the bullies left, I couldn't see him anymore and it was my fault," Charis said with tears in her eyes.

I felt so bad for her, I know how it feels to lose someone you care about. I went closer and placed a hand on her shoulder, sooting her.

"I'm sorry for your lost, I know how it feels to lose someone you care about, but I know it wasn't your fault," I said and the memories of my parents' death came to me.

"It's alright Tenma, thanks," Charis said as she wiped her tears and gave a sad smile, "you really remind me of my brother."

I smiled in response and put my hand down.

"We should get back now before the others worry," Charis said as she got up.

"Hai," I replied and got up.

The two of us left and went back to the others. I still felt bad for Charis, but I hid this from my friends. We got back and ate dinner. After that, we got ready for our midnight activity.
