Chapter 2- Kailin
Kailin walked through the empty alleyway absolutely terrified. She couldn't believe she had let her 'friend' or fake friend yes that was it, drag her into this mess. She had dragged her into an abandoned street. And had just abandoned her there! Kailin had been given multiple warnings about how fake she was. But foolishly she had denied every single one of them. And now here she was. Alone cold and scared in this empty alleyway. And she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.....like there was someone here with her, following her. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike. She a flash of alarm she released the best moment....would be now. Just then she felt herself being pinned to the ground. She lashed out blindly at her new attacker, managing to get a punch in. She wiggled free and started to run. Then a thought hit her. 'She wouldn't be able to outrun a fully grown woman.' Her only choice....was to fight. Kailin turned around to face her attacker. She had never been the best at fighting but she would have to try. Her attacked lunged toward her and landed in a square punch. Kailin winced at the impact but still tried to fight back. This hopeless fight went on and on.......
-A few minutes later-
Kailin was lying on the ground her vision fading in and out of focus. Her attacker was much much stronger than she thought......Kailin was starting to panic. 'NO. I can't die here. No matter how painful.' She winced every step as she got up, and stood to once again face her attacker. Once again she lunged at Kailin. But this time, Kailin was ready. She threw herself to the side and felt something building up inside her. Almost naturally, she held out her hands, and the most incredible thing happened. Water....water shot out of them, blasting her attacker to the side. Kailin suddenly felt a rush of energy and shot some more. In no time she had easily defeated her pursuer and was now standing over them as they lay, defeated in a crumbling pile on the floor. Kailin felt a rush of pride. She had never been able to defeat someone that easily. She grabbed some nearby rope and tied them up for safety measures. 'So you don't do that EVER again.' Kailin stood up and started taking the shortest route possible back home, as her wounds were still throbbing painfully. She picked up some medicine on her way back regardless of all the strange looks she got. Back home she tended throughly to her injuries and flopped down on a chair her mind overrun with thoughts about tonight. She had produced water from her own very hands. Not just any old water. This water could help win battles. What if someone at school found out? "UGH. Whatever. I should get to sleep. There's a test tomorrow." She staggered over to her bed and feel asleep quickly
