Charcoal's POV

Charcoal raced after a butterfly "don't run I only wanna play with you"I said.

"Charcoal if you're chasing after another butterfly I "red yelled but I couldn't the rest of the brambles they were moving on there own. He blankly stared at the bush what we don't know of the new plant chosen who could that be? He was vaguely aware red had padded up behind him and she was starting as well.

"Let's follow the tunnel" charcoal said.

"Your the one with fire magic move if we're going"she snapped at him.

He nervously padded forward red on his tail he saw a small fluffy pup about his age she was white with a silver paw and splotches of the same color and a silver tail tip with more silver splotches along the tail. She was an attractive wolf but battered bruised and hurt. he felt tugged toward her as if destiny its self wanted them together he and red stare in silence at her. Her ear twitched and she raised her head

"why is it so noisy"she asked herself and tilted her head the whimpered.

"What are you talking about you are you crazy it silent and who are you why are you on guardian pack territory"red snapped.

"Hey she's only a pup just like me"charcoal said stepping in between red and the pup.

"I'm fine I can awnser I don't remember much though I think I hit my head pretty hard"she said attempting to standing up but collapsing. She managed to pull herself into a sitting position

"Well I'm petal and all I can remember is how to hunt swim fish all the healing herbs the basics of life my name that I was running away from something I can't remember what and climbing trees."petal  said

"you can climb trees your a wolf not a squirrel and what noise were you talking about" red snapped.

"Don't you here all the voices"she asked

"are you crazy"red said (no not asked said)

"didn't you see how the brambles opened up giving us a path to her she's the nature chosen don't you remember the legends about the most skilled chosen talking with the things of there elements she must be hearing the plants voices. She glanced at herself in a near by puddle and hung her head.
"You ok" I asked
"no I fell of a cliff into a bramble patch what do you think" she said licking a scratch that ran along her side.

"Come on let's take her to alpha" red said picking the other pup up.

"Let's go now" she snapped her voice muffled by petals fur.

We padded back to camp no resistance from petal
"we need to see alpha we found a pup that needs to be added to the pack instaly" red said commandingly.

A wolf name shadow growled "what makes you think the pack needs that shrimp of a pup"

"For once I agree with my flea brained brother why did you bring that useless thing here"another wolf called ridge snapped.

"That's for alpha to know" red growled

"alpha went on patrol she can wait in the empty den"shadow growled back.

"I'm not useless" petal snapped defiantly wiggling down and limped to the den. I could tell she was in a lot of pain. I'll just check on her he thought walking over and going inside the den I spotted the pup crying.

"What's wrong oh and I'm charcoal by the way"I say I sound kinda dorky I thought.

"They were right I'm useless I got all scratched up I'm not even that pretty"she said. "I don't think you useless and the scratches will heal although you pretty just the way you are"I said she locked gazes with me and I noticed that one of here eyes was emerald green and the other was crystal blue.

"Thanks but I don't need compliments out of pity"she said

"no no it's not like that I really"I tried to explain before I was cut of by an outburst of petal yelling "just leave me alone"
