3 // Lost

Back at the beach, Midoriya got greatly nostalgic. He was happy to clean it up again. Like he did three years ago. Everyone else seemed the opposite. Especially at their new editon. Aizawa told them to treat him as they would their teachers. But some, especially Bakugo and Ida, found that challenging to do so.

He immediately yelled at them to get to work, they all did except Katsuki who stood and stared at the tattoo on his arm, like he wanted to pick a fight but tried really hard not to. And he stared back down at him, as if taunting him for a fight. Before he could walk towards Stain, Kaminari stopped him and told him to help him move the big stuff first.

"Bro, what's your problem with him?" Kaminari asked while they both lifted an abandoned car. "Why do you think?! Because we're listening to a guy who's killed who the fuck knows how many people! He tried to kill me, he disabled Ida's brother and completely destoryed Y/n--so ask me again."

"Wow, yeah but, he's here obviously because she's missing, that's gotta say something right?" But Katsuki just rolled his eyes, then he looked at Stain, who hadn't taken his eyes off of him.

In a short amount of time, the class managed to clean about 1/3rd of the beach, and it was already 6:30 Pm. Stain started clapping and everyone came to a pause. "Finish up everyone, curfew's 7." He started walking away and Katsuki dropped the rope he was using to pull the crates.

"Since when is our curfew 7?!"

"Since you put my daughter in harms way." Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows, panting from all the work they've been doing for the past seven hours. He went and grabbed his shirt from the ground, but didn't put back on because of how sweaty he was. He was angry, and figured he would just go to the gym and punch something until his fists were red.

"You comin' Kat? Shoto said he's making dinner this time." Kirishima extended an arm but Bakugo kept staring at his phone and just nodded. So they all left until he was alone on the beach, with the sun reaching the horizon.

He had gotten another voicemail from Y/n. It was only a few seconds long, but he didn't want anyone to hear it. Especially after the one he sent her.

"Oh god--Kat, I-I thought I was with Hawks. I wasn't and I was stupid enough to get in the car with some guy--and not notice he wasn't taking me home! I'm in the back of some truck--I don't fucking know were they're taking me! And--" she gasped, the truck stopped and she remained silent, then she hung up.

The more he listened to the recordings, the more he wanted to go out and actually do something, but he had not a clue of where to even look. And the less he was mad at her.

He and the others boarded the bus back to the dorms, Katsuki was occupied the whole time, tracking her location and writing the streets down on his forearm. And of course people were talking about him, but he was focused and wondering why they were moving so fast, they hopped from one street to another, then the dot just disappeared. He stared at it for several seconds, before it appeared, then was gone again. He suspected her phone died, but it was a start. Enough for him, if she was out there he'll find her.

SOMEWHERE IN TOKYO - 9:08 PM

Y/n was awfully aware she wasn't in her room. It was freezing and she felt oddly weak and tired, as she had for the past 16 hours. She woke up on a blanket in an empty room, with a mirror and a door. She stood up and nearly fell over, the dehyration was affecting her severely.

She walked over to the door, and passed the mirror, she got a glimpse of herself and went back to look. Someone had changed her clothes, she even smelled better like she just showered. She hasn't worn short sleeves in a while, nor had her tattoo exposed.

She continued to the door and opened it and was exposed to another room. There were some people in here, and they all stopped talking upon seeing her. Never mind her not knowing where the hell she was or even these people even were. She only recognized one of them. She narrowed her eyes and glared at him. "Ugh, you, again."

Her ability to act careless in a serious situation was unmatched, she scanned the whole room and saw no way to get out, people blocking the doors, she was outnumbered too. She was close to tearing the door off its hinges and using that as her weapon. But they made no move towards trying to apprehend her, like they expected her not to try to escape or put up a fight.

"What? You're not going to try to kill me?" Some of them laughed, snickered, but she was just confused.

"Why would we? You're one of us, aren't you?" This, most people assumed that. And she hated that.

"Oh, why, because my father's a villian? Because my mother left me? Please, tell me." In return she got silence. "Who is this chick? Did he tell ya' anything about her?" Someone muttered, then someone suddenly yelled.

"DABIII!!!!!!"

Her head throbbed after that, she didn't know whether to run, or try to take them all down. The door on her right opened but no one but a deep voice carried out. "What do you want?"

"Your chick's awake." It then opened fully and she could see his shadow coming out. She attempted to close the door before a live shadow on the ground came rushing towards her, the door flew open and hit her in the face. She cursed then came crashing down to the floor from the shadow grabbing her ankles and pulling her out of the room. That shadow then turned into a person. The same driver that drove her here, but he had no face, what she was staring at was impure black abyss. He appeared having her in a chokehold, she was kicking, scratching even attempted to punch him but her hands went right through him.

"LET--ME GO!!" She let out a scream, she turned super red, then blood splattered everywhere, no one flinched but when they looked to see what it was someone's body had exploded. There was nothing left but guts and blood, it was a rather nauseating sight for most.

"Okay let her go! Let her go Shadow!" She was released under command and gasped for air, still very red. She had not realized what she did, but she absolutely hated being choked, it was one of the few things that made her lose control of herself, including her quirk.

While she was coughing, someone kneeled down, who she could only guess was the one they called 'Dabi'. "I'm sorry about him, he acts on his instincts." She glared at him, holding her throat that hurt severely. The longer she stared at him, the more familar he looked to her though she had not seen him before. She coughed and chuckled.
"I remember you, at Isengard when I went to go see my dad, oh,  from what I've heard, your related to--"

"I remember you too, the girl who killed her parents and let two dangerous villains escape. You wanna reveal stuff, fine. We'll do it in private." He grabbed her wrist and forced her to her feet, which she resisted but with the weak state she was in, she kind of had no choice. He brung her into the room he had came out of and before the door shut she looked back and stuck the middle finger up at the Shadow guy, yet he tilted his head in confusion, and the door shut.

"Is she mad at me?" He asked the others. "Well no shit--but what the fuck was that!?! He-he just exploded! Does Dabi not care?!"

"I am not cleaning that up."

He let go of her hand. It was pitch black then some fire lit up the room. It was no room, but a hallway that extended further than her eyes could see. The walls solid concrete with torches holding blue fire lighting up the way that ended at a curtain point.

"I hope this is the way out of this shithole." There was another hallway, it was lit the same but only went so far, she saw doors down this one but not the other. She quickly turned around at the sudden gust of wind, it was still just her and Dabi, the wind came from the other hallway, and blew out a few torches.

"No, this is the way to your room." She raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Wha-are you gonna hold me for ransom?"

"No, more like join us here, at this residence." She almost laughed, because she genuinely thought it was a joke but his deadpanned expression said otherwise.

"Oh shit." She turned around and tried to run but a line of blue fire was shot at her and made her stop, it missed by just a few but she still felt the heat burning the hairs on her skin. Fire was another thing she hated, perhaps from trying to escape the house her mother set on fire with her alone in it. She's never seen blue fire before though. "I'm perfectly fine at U.A."

"Actually...last time I saw you, you didn't look too happy." He walked up to her and threw an arm around her while she stared at the ground, rolling her eyes. "You were sitting on the side of the road, and you got beat up pretty bad. What'd you do after that? Did you blow his head off? Did it even cross your mind?..."

Their last encounter was fake, Y/n knew that. But she had forgotten. "It did, didn't it? But you still went back and apologized when it wasn't your fault, you basically said sorry for being born to your parents, being brought up to finish a fight when others pick one with you. For being you." He placed his finger on her chest, where her heart was and she swatted his hand away.

"So what? The hell is your point?"

She looked up at him and furrowed her eyebrows, he looked at her as if he was taunting her, and she hated that look. "My point is that, why go back to some place where people look down at you?" Y/n finally shrugged him off.

"They don't look down on me, they-it's mutal!"

"Oh they don't? Right because if they did, then you wouldn't be here would you?" The two stared at each other, Y/n huffed.

"Yeah, don't fucking come back till you're normal!"

Those were Bakugos words. That oddly jogged her memory. He kicked me out? She knew it wasn't impossible but it still noticably hurt her. "I don't care, soon I'll be out and fighting shithead villians and people like you who aren't even worth a god damn second thought." She turned around to walk, and instead met with a big zap of eletricity, she seized up then fell to the floor.

"That's okay if you don't, you will soon."
