14 // Burning Pile

Edit; chapter 15 was unpublished because I forgot where I was going and wrote nothing useful to the plot, so, I apologize for that

Mother Mother anyone?

HIDEOUT - 2:15 AM

The league gathered in the main wing, spending several minutes waiting on their final person, forced to sit in a deafening silence. The only noise had to be the loud tension between Tomura and Y/n, they sat across from each other, he had his gaze locked on her, while she struggled to keep her eyes in the same place. Every now or so glancing back at him only to look back at the wall parallel to her.

In the long moments of silence Toga suddenly stood up from her chair and turned to Y/n. "You, Dabi wants you to take care of something for him, in the east wing." She pointed to herself and Toga nodded.
"Well what is it?" Instead of answering Toga grabbed her hand and forced her out the door.

"No questions." Was all she said, evily grinning before she slammed the door. Y/n just barely knew her way around the place alone, she had no idea where the 'east wing' was located. '

It was a lengthy walk, she almost gave up as soon as she started talking to herself, then she recognized one of the doors, or one she could distinguish from the others. This door revealed to lead to one of the rooms she'd spent the night in her first few weeks here. It was one negative, nostalgic memory. Except for the small change of detail; the table with the depressed flowers were on fire. She walked over to them and as soon as she let go of the door it slammed behind her.

There was that familar gust of hot wind behind her again, before she could even think about putting the burning flowers out, she turned around and watched the blue sparks disappear, and Dabi appear. He had tightly gripped by the arm, an unconscious man on the floor.

"You mind babysitting your dad for a while?" He let go of his arm, his body fell to the floor and Y/n stared down at him, unmasked. He rarely--if not never took his mask off. How Dabi managed to get close enough to do that and knock him out was a mystery. She agreed and nodded her head, smirking to reassure him, however she was having opposite feelings.

"Good, he should be sleep for a while, don't leave him alone, he works with the heros now, we can't risk anything..." Y/n sarcastically saluted him.
"Yes sir," she said, taking him into her hands and layed him against the couch, his head fell back onto the leather and Y/n tilted her head. He didn't appear beaten, which is why she was of the littest concerned.

"What'd you to him? Inject him with heroin?" She pulled his katana from his holster and placed it on the couch, she began to check his pockets for any more weapons. As she suspected there were none, her father was confident in his abilities, she wasn't sure what'd he do if he somehow lost his sword.

Y/n looked back at Dabi, "what?" she asked him, he just smiled and put his hands in his pocket. "Nothing." It was something, he just didn't know what it was. It had to be some inexplicable parasite feeding on him, all of his life he spent wondering why he was so blinded by this feeling he could never put into words. Perhaps because he was raised in an unaffectionate household, so saying his feelings was difficult, or perhaps it was just her.

Dabi opened the door and began to walk out before Y/n called for him. "You bring me a bottle of...whatever the fuck? I don't really care." She pulled up and turned around a chair towards her father and sat down. The door closed, assuming that was a no, Y/n sighed and stared down at her father.

"I should kill you right now," she said as the door opened, Dabi came back and with a glass. "Don't do anything to him." with that he left, she heard the door click as he locked it. Y/n sniffed and practically inhaled whatever was in the cup, she made a sour face from the taste and coughed. It was the dryest liquid she had ever had, as if sand filled her lungs. She started coughing and punching her chest didn't help her. It only got worse, eventually she collasped to the floor, still conscious but battling the cough.

"Agh!--the----fuck!?!"

TWO YEARS AGO - AKAGURO RISE

Countless hours have passed, and still yet with no successful attempt, no one has managed to get any type of information out of this mysterious girl. She wasn't as mysterious to Aizawa, they had met before and it wasn't pretty.

This time was only different because she talked but it was just nothing, she didn't answer questions, she was also tied and handcuffed in an investigation room. Police stations weren't new to her, hero's were, oddly new to her, perhaps she had been taught to believe something that wasn't true.

"I know a dead man when I see one." She said, staring into the eyes of the older man. He furrowed his eyebrows and huffed, not as an angry gesture but more annoyed. "What do you mean by that?"

She only responded with her eyes, she looked at the man behind him, covered in fire that lit up the whole corner of the room, then her eyes flickered back to the man in black. He looked back at Endeavor and they exchanged looks. "Okay...I think we're done--Aizawa why don't you-"

"Shh!" He looked back at the girl who began to have a slow nose bleed, she scrunched her nose, it itched but she was unable to scratch it as she was confined to a chair by a white scarf. There was a pit in her stomach, not out of guilt, it was a pit of pure fury, it was that similar to feeling guilty, except it made her physically and mentally angry, she could feel it pounding in her skull and pulsating in her stomach.

"Y/n, I want to give you a chance, you seem like you need it." By the second, blood began to drip onto her lip, and onto the scrarf. Her lip twitched before she opened her mouth to speak then suddenly stopped. Before Aizawa could catch on, let alone notice, a loud beep filled their ears, followed by the wall behind him crashing down. A giant wrecking ball swopped by, crashing the other wall down and the rest of precinct with it. It came for a second swing, in attempt to grab Y/n quickly Aizawa failed and was hit, the large concrete ball connecting harshly with his entire body that sent him flying. Endeavor launched his flame to catch him.

The person operating the wrecking ball jumped out of the vehical and walked towards her. The masked man neared closer and pulled a knife out of his holster and cut Y/n free just from a distance. She had no idea who this was, and she'd go wherever he was leading her, it had to be better than this, right?

Aizawa and Endeavor quickly stopped them, they swooped down and landed in front of them, putting Aizawa on his feel as the rest of his ripped scarf retracted from his neck and bent at his will, and Endeavors body went up in flames. The masked man grabbed her arm, as if taking her hostage, she smirked and waved 'peace' then the two were engulfed in bright blue flames, Endeavor shot his own red flames, the fire just disappeared and so did Y/n and the masked man.

HIDEOUT - ??:??

There was something about being lost in space, you would never get that tranquility again. The only thing close to that was you unconscious, in the deepest sleep imaginable, and possibly suffering from alcohol poisioning. You've been in many similar situations, but never in your life had you felt more sick. You hadn't been sleep long enough to completely sleep off the alcohol, in fact you were still practically drunk.

You felt a burning sensation on your stomach, high pitched ringing drowning a lot of the voices out. Your senses were severely impaired, basically fried, until you jolted awake as a searing pain traveled from your stomach throughout your whole body and shot up to your aching brain.

You could've swore your hearing was deteriorating, as soon as you opened your eyes you turned over and vomited every content in your stomach, spitting and retching the rest. Immediately, your head was pulled back and water was forced down your throat, but you retailated as the taste only got worse. You shook your head and forced yourself from whatever grasp held you and spat out the water.

Slowly, someone spoke to you, although you could tell, you were in such an unresponsive state that you could barely hold your head up. Thinking was no longer possible, your head was filled with fuzz, outside noise just barely made it past the ringing. Your sight was just as impaired as your hearing. Everything was a blur, everything, you could your eye throbbing, the light made you squint, and a big figure blocking most the light, yelling at you in your slipping state of mind.

All you could do was groan, in return, someone yelled, "hey!" And pat your face several times, each time getting a little harder. Soon glasses were slipped on your face, your vision became noticable better, however, you felt more sick, Dabi's clear expression of anger fueling your vision. You were already in such a weary state, the yelling only confused you. Because it wasn't coming from Dabi, he just glowered at you, the yelling, as you shifted your eyes, came from people behind him. They were shouting at the top of his lungs, then suddenly an even louder yell overtook them, and the room became devastatingly quiet.

The ringing in your ears consumed you and you groaned again, attempted to talk but your throbbing headache only got worse. Finally, you could make out the voices as a quieter, soothing one found you. "Y/n, can you understand me?" He asked, stroking the side of your face. You felt absolutly paralyzed with pain, throughout your whole body you felt a stabbing, sharp pain everywhere, as if you had been burnt, and hit your head one too many times.

"Get...some water..." Hearing became fuzzy again, you began to slip in and out of consciousness and once Dabi noticed he started lightly slapping her again.

She got lost again.

Y/n slipped once again, Dabi sighed, placing his hand on her naked stomach once again. That very sharp burning sensation shot up her body once again, then water was splashed on her face and she jolted up once again. Her body did not welcome the sudden mix of hot and cold. She gasped and panted as Dabi held her head up, she began to cough and turn over to retch whatever had to come out.

"You fucking idiot! She's going to choke!" Dabi yelled, shouting at the others as he pat her back carefully, as she became more conscious and less likely to slip, they began to ask her more questions until Dabi shouted and quieted them.

"Y/n," he said her name again, elevating her head. Everything began to wash over her. Every hit, bruise, wound she had endured pior, she felt everything and much to the others confusion, began to cry as she laid seized up on the couch. Her eyes wide as realization struck her and she whispered tearfully.

"Dad..."

Whew! Why it took me three weeks to finish this chapter? I have no...idea....
