CHAPTER 1

I wake up and I'm on a cold metal table. I look down to see that I'm naked. OH MY GOD I'M NAKED!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!

I sit up on the table and look for something to cover myself with. That's until a white box is lowered from the ceiling.

"Get dressed with the clothing in the box" A robotic voice says.

Stubbornness and sarcasm have always been the personality traits that I've struggled with. It's as if they've just been ingrained into my head when I was born. So of course, I fail to bite my tongue.

"Why should I?"

"Would you like to go out for your medical examination naked Miss Silvers? We can take back the gifts that we give."

"No, no, no... I'll wear the clothes." I say. I do not like being naked in front of people. I mean... Who does though?

I pick up the white box and open the lid. I pull out three pieces of clothing. Undergarments, and a paper thin white dress. Ugh. I hate wearing dresses, but whatever. I put on the clothes and the dress is actually quite short. It reaches about mid-thigh and barely covers my ass. See? This is one of the many reasons that I hate wearing dresses.

the robotic voice comes back on.

"please follow the directions of the arrows and stand in the capsule."

I manage to hold back my sassy remarks and actually follow directions. I step into a clear capsule and shut the door, and then the robotic voice starts up again.

"Good Afternoon, Anastasia Silvers." It says, and the floor of the capsule slowly starts to descend.

"You are being brought to your medical examination. You will be thoroughly examined." it continues. Wait... What does "thoroughly examined" mean?!

"We ask that you cooperate with the examination. However, we also have means of doing this without you cooperating with us."

What the hell?!?!?! WHAT DO THEY MEAN?!?!?! WHERE ARE THEY TAKING ME?!?! I WANT OUT!!!!! OUT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

The panic that I was trying to hold in earlier catches up to me. I start banging on the sides of the capsule and the robotic voice comes back on.

"You were warned"

That's all it says before an opaque white gas fills the capsule and I collapse.
