The sun rises on the Spellman house and the residents stir in their beds.
"Yes Salem," Sabrina pushes away the familiar. Turning over she buries her head in her pillow. Today is the first day of her mock trial at The Academy of Unseen Arts..
"Wake up my Darling," Aunts Hilda hums outside of her door. "She will be late with all of this stalling!" Aunt Zelda tells her lesser half.
"Guess I better get up, uh?" The witch uses her finger to rub under the goblins mouth. Meow. "Okay," she hops up and begins getting ready.
Downstairs the sisters and Ambrose sit sipping tea and eating a light breakfast. "Praise Satan shes up," Aunt Zelda glares over her news paper. "Do I have to go?" Sabrina tries once more. "Yes," Aunt Hilda begins softly, "it was a very nice offer-" "Nice offer?" Scoffs Aunt Zelda, "as someone not banished from the church of night I can assure you Sabrina Spellman that Father Blackwood has never never," She emphasis, "never been this lenient. So," she folds up her paper and promptly stands, "you will be going to this school.
"And you," Her arms wrap around her nieces shoulders, "will love it. The best moments of my life were at The Academy of Unseen Arts and so will yours." She turns to her sister and states softly," Isn't that right Hilda?"
Despite the answer obviously being no Aunt Hilda manages to choke out a "Yes dear - and we will both be right their when you walk in," she rises from her seat. "Actually," Aunt Z moves Sabrina away from the other Aunt, "you are banished. So you are not allowed on the unholy grounds."

After the creepy
introduction given by
Father Blackwood
◥✥◤
"Welcome," the three sisters encase Sabrina in a circle. "Good morning Prudence," Sabrina continues walking unfazed through the pentagon rooms. "Look here," Prudence grabs her arm forcing her to stop. "Let her go," a masculine voice commands.
The girls turn to a dark haired man. "Nickolas," Prudence scrunches her nose as her sisters and hers tortuous game is interrupted, but she then unapologetically admires the warlocks fit form.
"Ladies," He bows his head deeply causing his raven hair to block his eyes as he shoots Sabrina a sly wink.
The sisters two sisters flanking Prudence turn a deep shade of pink. "I am going to steal our new AUA student," The handsome man man connects his fingers to the blond witches fingers and pulls her to him.
"See you later ladies," he nods respectfully as he holds tight to Sabrina.
"Thank you. Prudence is-" "a bit much." Sabrina smiles at the darkly charming warlock. "You're a Spellman," he says it as if reminding Sabrina of her last name.
"Your father is a legend."
Sabrina's footsteps falter, "You know of my father?" The warlock pulls her after him. Their hands still intertwined.
"I have studied and obsessed over and idolized your father since my studies began," he whispers in a hushed voice as they enter the dining hall.
"His writings, they are-" Nick releases her hand as they sit. "Forbidden," he says darkly. "But you have access?"
A mischievous smile graces his lips, "like I said he's a legend. He was a head of his times. Members of the Church of Night, like Father Blackwood, are frightened by his out of the box thinking so they forbid his journals to all witches and warlocks. But if your curious enough..."
Sabrina leans in close. Her blond short hair escapes the confines of her ears. "I am." "Are you committed then?" He tilts his head like a cat.
"Committed?" "To being a witch? To being a student at the Academy of Unseen Arts?" His question isn't demanding or threatening like those who has asked the same question before. It is just a reminder. A reminder that she can't be a half witch or half human.
"If you're not then we can cram, but I think you would enjoy taking your time," the double meaning rests in the air as their food is sat before them.
"So, Tell me something about you Sabrina Spellman." They are sitting in the steps to the school. The haunting woods as their back drop.
"I'm a half witch-" Sabrina begins. "Bull." Her questioning gaze turns to him but he shows no intention of continuing. He picks up a pebble and rubs it between his fingers. "I'm a Sophomore at Greendale High. I have a boyfr—there is a boy, Harvey," a pause for a forbidden smile, "and I refused to sign my name in the 'his' Book."
With a flick of his wrist the pebble skips on the ground till it is engulfed by the looming trees. "You are a witch. You are human. There is no half this half that." His eyes and hand search for a new rock. "Eventually everything goes to the same place." He flicks the pebble after the first. "So why waste our time with unnecessary labels and dividers?"
For the first time he turns his head. Sabrina gasps as their eyes meet. His eyes engulf her in almost a sexual way. "You have boyfriend?" "Yes," she manages to keep her voice steady.
"Another pro to a life style of no dividers is that jealousy is not an issue. Without the confines of the 'American Dream' you are free to explore the pleasures of multiple partners."
Sabrina shaking away his enchanting allure, "are you suggesting?" Her eyebrows raise as he flashes her a wink. "I'm down to share," he shrugs his shoulders.
"Well, it wouldn't be much of a share thing," she keeps her voice steady by ignoring his gaze. Her fingers grasp a pebble. "Harvey says he can't 'trust my magic'." She flicks the rocks with intense force; shooting it past the depths of the woods and into Hell itself.
Nickolas raises his eyebrows and then shakes his head. "I don't know much about love, but you being a mortal you do love him," he catches her eyes, "don't you?" "Yes," emotion feels her voice.
"Have you ever loved someone before? So much that it hurts?" She grasps her heart as if it was going to fall out of her chest and on to the rocks.
"So much that all you wanted was to tell them every deep secret but you were to scared that they would hate you for it?" Nickolas drops his gaze. His perfect boy routine breaks for a split second.
Blink and you might miss it.
"No, the Dark Lord doesn't like such deep connections." His gaze lifts. The mockery lights up like Christmas lights in his eyes, "he gets jealous."
"I love him. My whole heart is his. How?—" she breaks. Nickolas doesn't interrupt the pause. He studies the young witch. "He loves me too. I know he does— but he doesn't trust me. Not any more." No tears fall and for that Nickolas applauses the mortal-witch.
"I've never felt love but it sounds terrifically terrifying."

One day later
◥✥◤
"Sabrina!" "Nickolas," a smile graced the young witches face as she steps on the unholy grounds. "Here is part of one of your father's books."
The pages are passed between the coven members. "What?" Opening the pages in the secluded area of the library Sabrina observes the cryptic text. "It's code!"
Nickolas gazes at her through the dark. His dark hair bleeding into the darkness. His broad shoulders lean against the nearest bookshelf. His black button up shirt rises up and down up and down with his breaths; his muscular chest on display.
"I told you." Is all he says. Sabrina sighs squeezing her eyes shut. "Why are you frightened?" "I'm not." "You are lying. Not just to me but to yourself. There is only so long a witch can survive when suppressing their identity. You are who you are. Own it. You are mortal. You are a witch. You are a beautiful, sexy, frightening women. Own it."
As he talks his voice drops lower. He doesn't mean to do it. At least not consciously. His built figure moves in front of Sabrina. His head tilts downward.
His emotions are those that are foreign and forbidden to him.
"What did you say?" Sabrina reigns in her heart beat. "You are beautiful, sexy, and frighteni—" their lips collide together.
Neither of them know who leaned in but neither cared. Sparks fly as their unholy magic sizzles in their vains. Nickolas waits for Sabrina's reaction before releasing the beast.
She takes a step forward deepening the kiss. Their lips mold together. His hands fall to the small of her back holding her upright as he leans them against the bookshelf.
"Nickolas," Sabrina pants. His kisses move to the corners of her mouth and then to her jaw. Down her neck.
His desires urge him on but something almost human reminds him that Sabrina isn't like most of the witches and warlocks he has seduced before.
Both of them remove their lips form the other but neither move. Their thoughts are muddled like all teenagers at that age. Nickolas thinks about apologizing but it doesn't seem right.
"I know that you and Harvey," she interrupts him with a less urgent kiss, "and you don't want to—" her lips collide back with his. "Sabrina," he tries to catch her eyes, "I don't want you to regret—" she laughs a soft comforts laugh. "Nickolas, you act like you've never been kissed. When a girl kisses you back that doesn't mean she is having second thoughts."
"Sabrina," his voice is hard. Demanding her attention. "I am a warlock. Always have been. My name was promised to the Dark Lord before my mother was conceived. I have never once strayed from the path of night and yet here I am feeling and thinking forbidden things."
Sabrina curiously peers up at him through the dark library. "And I just met you and you and Harvey," his stern voice doesn't fit his words. "Harvey doesn't love me. He wants to just like I wanted him to but he shouldn't have to want to accept me he just should. Nickolas, Harvey isn't an issue.
"And yes we just met," her gaze drops to her hands. "It makes me feel guilty because I feel it to and I just broke up with Harvey." "You feel it too?" Nickolas asks. "What is this feeling Sabrina?"
Sabrina gazes questioningly up at the warlock. "It's love Nickolas."
