"None of my outfits are appropriate for a date." Aurora groaned and fall onto her bed face first.

"That's why I'm here to rescue you."

Renee was rummaging through her duffle bag, pulling out a few dresses and throwing them on the bed.

"Tada! I think this would look perfect on you." Renee hold up an emerald green short dress, smiling excitedly at her.

"Uh... I don't - "

Renee cut her friend off, ushering her into the bathroom. Aurora looked at her reflection in the mirror and sighed. She never knew preparing for a date can be this stressful.

After putting on the dress, Aurora had to admit that her friend had a good taste in clothing. The off shoulder neckline completely shows off her collar bone. It fits her nicely on the waist and ended just above the knees. The green of the dress really compliment her forest green eyes.

She fixed her hair and smoothing out the dress before stepping out of the bathroom. Renee stared at her friend for a few seconds before whipping away imaginary tears from her face.

"Oh ma gawd, my baby is all grown up. She's going on her first date. Huhuhu... I'm a proud mama... Huhuhu. "

Aurora rolled her eyes at her childishness. Before she could reply the sound of someone knocking at the front door rings through the tiny house. Her heart rate spiked because she knew who was behind the door.

"OH MY GOD! HE'S HERE!" Renee squealed.

Renee pushed Aurora out of the bedroom and towards the stairs.

"Let's go meet your husband," Renee whispered.

"We're - "

Aurora stopped talking when she found herself at the bottom of the stairs.

Elise and Charles were having small talks with Theo at the doorway. Their shoulders looked rather tense. Aurora could saw a flash of fear in their eyes and frowned slightly.

"Hey, you look beautiful."

Aurora turned towards Theo at his voice. When their eyes meet, everything else melted away.

He looked effortlessly hot in just a t-shirt, a leather jacket and ripped jeans.

His ocean blue eyes stared back at her green ones. His hair was swept to the side with a few strands of curls falling into his eyes. Aurora itched to run her hands through his hair that seems to glow underneath the silver moonlight. Her gaze linger on his plum lips that she wanted to kiss so badly.

Aurora cursed herself mentally for having those thoughts on the first date. Little did she know, the boy standing in front of her was having the same thoughts.

Well, his imagination went slightly farther away than hers.

Theo shook his head slightly to clear his not-that-child-appropriate thoughts. He extended a hand towards Aurora with a warm smile on his face.

"Shall we?"

Elise watched until Theo's black Porsche was out of sight only then she shut the door. She closed her eyes and pressed her back against the door. Both Charles and Elise were silent, trying to calm their erratic heart beat.

"He's.....he's..." she was in too much shock to finish the sentence.

"A wolf." Charles whispered.

"Are you peeking?"

"No, I promise!" Aurora giggled.

Theo took Aurora's hand and gently guide her through the uneven ground. Her hand moulded against his as if they were made just for him.

As soon as their hands connected, Ekanga had been chanting 'Kiss her, hug her, mark her.' non stop. Theo didn't silence him because he shared the same desire as his wolf. But he knew he had to take things slow as Aurora still had no idea about the existence of supernatural world.

When they reached a small clearing in the forest, Theo let go of her hands and stepped aside.

"You can open your eyes now," he announced.

Theo watched with anticipation as Aurora slowly opened her eyes and took in her surroundings. She drink in the scene in front of her with wide eyes.

A picnic blanket was spread out in the middle of the grassy clearing. Four massive mason jars with fairy lights spilling out of it were planted on the ground above each corner of the blanket. Wild flowers of various species and colours were scattered around the perimeter of the blanket.

Theo clasped his hands tightly behind his back, "So.... You like it? " he asked.

"I love it! This is amazing!" Aurora squealed.

Theo sighed in relief at her excitement.

He put an arm behind his back and the other stretched out in the direction where the blanket lies, "This way, miss Prince."

Aurora giggled a little at his attempt to sound like a waiter of a posh restaurant. They both settled on the blanket facing each other, the basket between them.

"I would now serve the dishes," Theo announced in a formal tone.

Aurora decided to play along, "That would be lovely." she smiled sweetly.

He started pulling out the first dish from the basket when he realised Aurora's face had gone pale.

"Hey... You okay? You look pale. " Theo asked.

Aurora rubbed circles on her chest trying to sooth the sudden pain that had bloomed over her chest once again.

"Yeah, I'm fine." she waved it off.

Suddenly, the sound of twig snapping came from their left side. Their heads turned towards the direction.

A confused frown etched on Theo's face.

NOAH! DIDN'T I TOLD YOU TO STAND GUARD AT LEAST 800 METERS AWAY FROM US?! WHY ARE YOU THIS NEAR?! Theo yelled through the mind link.

The sound of leaves crunching became louder and louder. Someone is definitely heading towards their direction.

Just then, the crunching sound stopped.
