"I need this. Oh these too," Noah mumbled as he throw random objects into the shopping cart.

"What are you doing?" Theo looked at the items in their shopping cart, trying to figure out what Noah is up to.

Noah ignored him and proceeded to scan the items in their shopping cart. A large knitted blanket, a gas lamp, chocolate drink, mason jars and fairy lights. He nodded his head, a satisfied grin plaster on his face.

"Hey! Answer me, what are you up to?" Theo shoved Noah impatiently.

"Helping you to plan a date." Noah said in a 'duh' tone.

"Okay...but why do you need mason jars?" Theo picked up the jars from the cart and inspected them with his eyebrows furrowed.

Noah sighed, "Just trust me with the planning okay? Now, all you gotta do is ask her out. "

Theo sighed, "Easier said than done."

Noah patted Theo's shoulder in reassurance and then pushed the shopping cart towards the cashier.

"Grannie, do you have something that could help with my back ache? Its been getting worse for some reason." Aurora winced with every step she took as she descended the stairs.

"Yes I think I have a cream that could help," Elise replied from the kitchen.

Elise rummaged through her drawers and not before long, she held up a tiny glass jar containing a white coloured balm.

"Tada! Come here, I apply it for you," she gestured at Aurora to come closer.

Aurora let out a content sigh when she felt the cool sensation of the balm soothing her back ache.

"Thanks gran."

"Anytime sweetheart." Elise smiled warmly at her granddaughter.

"Oh, I'm starving. I am not waiting for gramps." Aurora announced.

She's took the maple syrup and drenched her pancakes with it. In a blink of an eye, she'd wolfed down all five of her pancakes. After finishing her meal, she let out a burp, rubbing her food belly with a lazy smile on her face. Elise looked at the young lady with her mouth agape.

"Oh my! Since when did you eat like... Like a hungry wolf!" Elise exclaimed.

Aurora shrugged nonchalantly.

"I have to go, see ya."

Aurora kissed Elise on the cheek and made her way towards the door with her bag slung over her shoulders.

"Rora?"

Aurora turned around at her name being called and found Charles at the foot of the stairs.

"Morning gramps."

"Hey kiddo. Listen, your birthday is in two days, and uh... Me and gran thought that it'll be nice if we could celebrate it together?" Charles asked hesitantly.

"But-"

Charles cut her off saying, "Look, I know you always celebrate with your friends, but this year you're gonna be an adult! We just... hope that we could celebrate it together...."

Charles looked at Aurora pleadingly which melts her heart.

In the end she gave in, "Yeah I think that'll be nice."

A broad smile appeared on Charles face, "Good. That's good."

Aurora found herself smiling too. She bid her farewells and set off to school.

Surprise was an understatement when Aurora found Theo leaning against her locker.

He was fidgeting with the hem of his sweater and didn't see her approaching. Aurora took this opportunity to check him out. He's wearing a blueish grey sweater paired with a light acid washed jeans that were ripped at the knee. The sweater somehow made the blue of his eyes stand out.

His golden hair was combed back into a messy quiff which looked so soft that Aurora had an urge to run her hand-

She shook her head to stop her thoughts from getting too far. She resumed her walking and approached her locker slowly. She frowned when she noticed that Theo looked a little... Nervous?

It seems like he was deep in thought that he didn't even notice her standing right in front of him. He was mumbling something under his breath that Aurora couldn't quite catch. She waited for a few moments before clearing her throat to get his attention.

Theo jolts in surprised and his eyes widened when he saw Aurora waving timidly at him.

"Erm, that's my locker... " Aurora trailed, pointing at the locker that Theo was leaning on.

Theo quickly pushed himself away from her locker and began stuttering nervously," Oh, yeah! I know. I mean, sorry."

Aurora giggled a little. She found him quite adorable when he was embarrassed. After she had took everything she needed, she was shocked that he was still standing by her locker.

"Erm... You are waiting for someone?"

"Eh...yeah. I was waiting for you actually." Theo chuckled nervously while scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh? Me?" Aurora pointed at herself in disbelief.

"Yeah, I... Uh... " Theo opened his mouth but the words were stuck in his throat.

JUST ASK HER OUT YOU DUMBASS! Ekanga's voice boomed inside of his head.

SHUT UP! I FORGOT WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY! Theo yelled back at his wolf.

"So, erm...well, last time I accompanied you at the nurse office right?"

Aurora nodded slowly.

"So, I was thinking maybe you could do something for me as a payback?" Theo cringed as soon as he finished.

THAT WASN'T THE LINE!

I'M SORRY! I PANICKED!

He was about to tell her to forget about it but Aurora's laugh stopped him from saying it.

"Yeah sure, what can I do for you?"

Theo immediately brightens up which made butterflies flutter inside Aurora's stomach.

Theo took a deep breath and said, "I want you to go on a date with me."

Forget about butterflies.

A zoo was trampling inside her stomach.
