"Welcome, to the most dangerous bar on the planet!" Nighthawk laughed excitedly as he and Dragonfly went inside all smiles and excitement. As if they were toddlers going to their favourite amusement park, which in their eyes it might be just that.
"If it's the most dangerous why are we here?" Raven complained, not really expecting an answer, nevertheless, she did get one along with of course a mockery of her skills and attitude.
"I already told you I need to meet up with someone and besides it's not like we didn't warn you," I whispered in her ear with that blood lustful voice that I only use when Grace isn't around. "You brought this upon yourself so stop complaining. Another thing you might want to act all tough and rough or they might kill you in a heartbeat... or worse. Do yourself a favour and stick to us, 'k?" I finally said as I walked ahead of her in my all black leather battle suit, Raven with looser one, Starskrymer's this time.
We should really go shopping for her. I thought. I guess I can get Skrymer to do that though.
I swiftly and silently made my way to the only available table as Nighthawk and Dragonfly were already drinking a really strong bottle of whiskey. I screwed up my face.
"Ok. I'll get going. Behave yourselves children." I warned them as I turned to leave.
"Yes, Captain!" Raven saluted me mockingly.
"He's actually a commander you know. A captain is a little too low for him." Dragon said as he smiled widely at me and took another sip of his whiskey.
"Aren't I terribly sorry, because I'm no psycho who goes around killing people..." She mumbled and that statement alone made Dragonfly's blood flare up. I was rather immune to that insult because it didn't matter. I guess I didn't care enough to feel offended. In fact, I didn't care at all.
"Yeah! And you think we wanted to?! You really believe we had a choice?!" He argued angrily obviously wanting to rip her head off which caused her to decide to sit next to hawk instead, not a wise choice, but in a way, it was almost the lesser of two evils...almost.
"Guys! Guys! Guys! I just told you to behave yourselves! Now, do you really need me to go home and tie the three of you to the trees in the backyard until you make up?" I threatened coldly and that made them all go quietly.
"But Black she-" Dragonfly started.
"Seriously? She's a child by standard law, naïve and most of all she is traumatized. Do you really need me to keep going?" I taunted keeping my emotions intact.
"Fine! Fine!" He rolled his eyes.
"What did you just call me?!" She fired back.
"Even Grace would've been a better choice to bring around, especially considering who I am about to meet... but it's not worth the risk right?" I mumbled in a foul mood myself.
"Who are you about to meet?" greenie asked and the others also eyed me in such a manner that told me that if she had not asked, they would've. I sighed and adjusted my collar.
"Queen-I-wanna-rip-her-head-off," I said reluctantly.
"No way!" Nighthawk's jaw dropped.
"What were you thinking?" Dragon retorted.
"Siren? Why? I thought you said we were here to have fun." Raven asked, but none of us acknowledged her.
"I'll be fine. I am the almighty Death remember and all I need is some information, sadly she seems to be the only somewhat trusted source. Besides, it's not like she has a prayer against me so sit back and behave." I waved them off as I headed out.
"Yes, father..." Nighthawk teased me as he fluttered his eyes and erupted into laughter at my reaction.
"What kind of information?" Raven inquired. Once more, I ignored her.
In the middle of Siren's rant about all the drama that had been going around, I saw Raven getting surrounded by some of the lower ranking assassins. I ignored Siren for a bit and focused on them instead.
"My, my, my, what do we have here?" Some drunken idiot that's about at least twice her size and age came up to her. "Which idiot would allow such a young and beautiful girl to hang here all by herself?" Apparently, I was that idiot.
"There you are!" Dragon snatched her arm and tried to get her out of the group of drunken assassins, but they were quickly getting surrounded. I cursed under my breath.
"Let me take care of it. It's my turn to play psycho." Raven said smiling and he scowled at her. She freed herself from his grip, which alone was impressive and then she walked right to the middle of the group again, still drinking her juice.
"Ok, losers." She sipped daintily at the juice, then smirked that devil's smile of hers. "You want it. You gotta come and get it." She challenged them. All of the assassins looked at her with total despise and hatred, but also some apprehension.
"You're gonna wish you were never born chick!" One of them charged at her from behind. Raven simply dropped and swept him off his feet, she then used the time it got him to restore his balance to send him flying into the nearest wall. Not bad. She turned around to find three others at her. No problem. She sidestepped the first and used her gun to stun him, she then efficiently ducked the second and struck hit him on the back of the head. The third one hesitated and she quickly kneed him and left him crouched in ball form as everyone else stared at her.
What's more impressive is that she's done all that with her glass still in her dominant hand and without a single drop of her juice spilt during the confrontation nor a single drop of blood on her. She hopped over one of the unconscious bodies as she smiled at Nighthawk's and Dragon's stunned expressions and headed to their table again as Dragon and Nighthawk stayed behind a while and just stare at her walking as everyone else moved out of her way.
"She's Dangerous," Nighthawk told Dragonfly and whistled as they followed her.
"You're right. She is indeed." Dragonfly agreed as they followed after her smiling. Unfortunately, the retards were with Siren and she did not take it well. One minute she was in front of me the next with Raven.
"Hey, you! Who the hell do think you are chick?! Beating down my crew?!" Raven turned around to find Siren staring holes into her.
"Relax Siren. She's with me." I said coldly as I squeezed myself in between her and greenie, forcing her to step back. She frowned at me and scoffed.
"Yeah don't make me laugh Black! She is with you? Why? Don't you think you deserve better?" She gave me a hot look from beneath her lashes, which I had to stifle my urge to cringe at.
"Haven't we already been through this?" I sighed in aggravation. "Oh, and by the way," I gave her an evil smirk. "She is better than you. I honestly would take Raven over you any time." I snorted at her. And she gaped. "And as you can see she isn't helpless. Also, don't give me that look it's not what you think. She is the newest addition to my crew, the same one you just met this morning! Had you even bothered to glance at her. You know our code rather well, don't you? You mess with one of us you mess with all of us." I continued in my blood lustful voice indicating that last bit. "And do you really wanna mess with me?" I sarcastically saluted her. "Consider yourself lucky that it ended here, 'til next time Siren." I finally said as I half-helped, half-dragged Raven up and out of the bar. "Come on, you bunch. Let's go home." I called the other two as I drew Raven closer to me. Nighthawk and Dragonfly followed after us, leaving Siren alone and in total and utter shock and humiliation.
