[Location: The Raptor]

On a surprisingly silent day in Atlas, the Raptor flies over the city. The Banshee's screeching can almost be heard off in the distance. In one of the hangers of the dreadnought, Joshua leads the pilot known as Curt to a recently delivered set of black jets. They come to a stop a few feet away.

Joshua: Here they are. The stealth bombers.

Curt: I can smell the dust from here.

Joshua: Now, you won't be set out to your mission just yet. We need to have you, along with two other pilots, given the details needed to-Where'd you go?

He glances to his side and sees that Curt is not standing next to him. Shifting around he doesn't find him until he hears clicking from one of the bombers. Turning around he sees Curt in the cockpit.

Curt: This thing is even dustier on the inside! HAH! Old vagina joke.

Joshua: How did-Get out of there, now!

Curt: Hate to poke some holes in whatever this plan of yours is, but I have some concerns. This oversized retarded boomerang is missing some gas and, the thing it was named for, bombs. Never mind the fact that some of the parts in this thing might be degraded to shit after years of neglect. But I'm sure there are obvious solutions to these measly problems. Is there, commander?

Joshua: "sigh" The necessary power needed for the bombers is a certain processed dust fuel that hasn't been made in nearly a hundred years. But we have info saying that the Schnee Dust Company has records on how to make it. I don't know how or why, but from my experience it's better not to question convenience. General Argent will be dealing with supplying the bombs. Finally, although they might not look like it, the stealth bombers are kept in high maintenance by Hēi's engineers. Which reminds me, so long as these bombers are here, they are to be held as high valued equipment. So would you kindly GET THE FUCK OUT!

Following the loud order, Curt exits the bomber. Making his way to the commander.

Curt: High valued equipment? They're rusty planes with a firecracker dispenser. What the hell makes them special?

Joshua: They're special to the guy that owns them. Hēi collects an absurd amount of relics, rare artifacts, and at this point unique old world vehicles. These three stealth bombers were the prototypes of what may have been a devastating air force back then. However, they were made during the end of the war eighty years ago so they never saw any action. Only tested on open fields and Grimm.

Curt:... So this is like, what, a new form of combat from way back when?

Joshua: That's right.

Curt: So why don't we reverse engineer them?

Joshua:..... What?

Curt: Everse engineer. Take one of the bombers, have some mechanic nerds have an orgasmic field day with it, document the layout of the plain, put it back together, and manufacture our own.

Joshua: Uhm... I don't think we're allowed to do that?

Curt: Wanna try that again with less certainty?

Joshua: We can't do that. Hēi is a very valued alley to the Children, and I'd rather not give him a reason to cut ties because we tampered with his property without his permission. The only reason he's letting us use them is because he listens to Pastor Nichts.

Curt: Well, that was all the fucks I could give in a short time span. What do I do now?

Joshua: Wait for me in the meeting room for debriefing with the other two pilots. I have to settle on how to acquire the fuel.

Curt gives him a salute and makes his way to his destination. As he does, Joshua pulls out his scroll. With a few taps, he receives a video call from his raiding leader on the needed fuel.

Joshua: Come in, Nick. Do you read me?

There is a spike of static until it clears and reveals the one on the other end. He sees him still wearing the old fashioned Children combat uniform.

Nick: Loud and clear, sir.

Joshua: Has your team made it to the SDC?

Nick: Tee minus one hour till arrival. And before you ask. Yes, the kid is still safe. "Mumble" Asking every five minutes.

Joshua: Ignoring that last bit. Keep me updated on any changes.

Nick: Yes, sir. Ranger Nick, out.

Cutting the call, Joshua stuffs the scroll into his pocket and heads to the meeting room.

[Location: Streets of Atlas]

A small convoy of APCs drive across the streets. Outfitted with snow chains to keep from sliding all over the ground. In the front of the convoy, two certain individuals are seated in the back of their APC.

Nick: Alright, Donn, I don't know why the commander always picks me to babysit you. But this saves me from telling you what you need to know. Do as I say, stay close, and don't do anything extremely stupid that gets you killed. I'd rather not see what your dad's new arm can do to my bones.

Donn: I understand.

Without another word, they continue on their journey to the largest dust company in Atlas. If not all of Remnant.

[Location: Children's outpost in Vale]

In a secluded section of the city, a large number of Children followers go about their duties. Among them is Zeta squad, one of the most well known teams of the Children, consisting of a five member team.

The leader of the squad, Zac Stone, currently spending his time in the main tent.

The scout, Ean Hogan, is patrolling the compound with a custom made auto sniper rifle at hand.

The team medic, Ben Riley, occupies his time on patching up any injured Children members.

The demolition expert, Leo Key, just cleans off his gatling shotgun.

Finally the team specialist, Ellen Silvermane, currently having her cybernetic spine recalibrated with a cord embedded into the base of her skull.

Right now, Zac finishes up a meeting with General Argent via holovid. He reaches over to the intercom.

Zac: [All members of Zeta squad, report to the main tent immediately.]

As the intercom goes silent, the team cut their tasks short. Ellen pulls out the plug from her neck, Ben tasks another medic to the care of the soldiers, and the last two jog to the tent. As they make it inside, they stand at attention in front of their leader.

Zac: Alright team, we've just been tasked with a new mission directly from the general.

Ean: Just give us the short version.

Zac: We're going to save the city from being blown up.

Ean:..... Ok, give us the long version.

Zac: The general has gotten reports from our spies about prototype terraforming bombs being sent here. The damn cowards in the government have finally deemed this city no longer worth reclaiming and are planning to raze the whole foundation. With us and the Grimm still here. Our job is to not only stop that, but to acquire these bombs for a seporate mission in Vacuo.

Ellen: What is our time frame, sir?

Zac: From now? Twenty four hours till arrival. Thirty hours till detonation. The bombs will be arriving via convoy escort from the West side. Any more questions?

Zetasquad: Sir, no sir!

Zac: Gear up. We leave in ten.

The team walk out of the tent and gather their equipment for the upcoming mission.
