In the western regions of Vale, on a fairly cloudy day, a large train rushes across the tracks. Traveling to wherever it needs to be with its occupants inside through a small mountain field.

This type of train is greatly abnormal compared to others. First off, the height of it is equal to that of a three story building. Making it extremely large. There seems to be a total of eight cars attached. All heavily armored from roof to wheels. At the very back, the caboose seems to be fitted with a large AA gun. With all this metal, it's astounding the train is moving at high speeds.

Over all, this train is a fortress on tracks.

Far ahead, on top of an over passing cliff to the left, Pyrrha and Penny lay in wait for the train. The android keeping her advanced tech eyes on the tracks ahead as the half Grimm just waits behind her. Sharpening the edge around her shield with a whetstone she found. Patiently waiting to acquire this artifact that Father wants.

Penny keeps gazing out at the far distance where the train should be coming from. Her mechanical pupils adjusting and readjusting to zoom in, detect heat signatures, or any form of movement. Red retinas flickering on and off between settings.

Penny: Friend Pyrrha, what do you think this artifact is that Father wants?

Pyrrha: He never said. My best guess is that it's something old or powerful for him to know of. It could be one of the four relics for all I know. However, us knowing what it is doesn't matter. He wants it. We'll get it.

The abnormally pale red head goes back to sharpening her shield. Intent on leaving the conversation there.

The literally soulless ginger that is Penny goes back to focusing on spotting the train. Thinking on whether to get Ruby a box of cookies or a diamond encrusted sniper rifle to cheer her up. Maybe one of those fudge filled cookies she's heard about, or that new TR-17 dust shard launcher. Decisions, deci-

Several miles ahead, coming from around a hill, the train they have been waiting for has finally been spotted. Easily seen with Penny's modified vision.

Penny: Found it! Eighty miles out! Estimated arrival time: Three minutes.

Pyrrha quickly tosses the whetstone aside and makes her way next to Penny. Looking ahead, she can barely see the train so far off with her own eyes.

Pyrrha: Any idea on which car has the artifact?

Penny: Most likely it is in the very center with the heavily armored car and no windows. If we can get on the train, I can try to scan for any strange energy waves. Oh look, I can see one of our friends down there!

Caught off guard from what Penny just said at the end, Pyrrha makes her way behind her. Lifting up a port in the back of the android's head, she peers into the now makeshift goggles and sees what Penny sees. Just as she said, there is a familiar individual right there. A somewhat tiny image of her, but that blonde figure is recognizable.

Yang. Standing nonchalantly on the roof of the second to last car.

What surprises the Grimm amazonian most of all is seeing another blond figure she recognizes. Her former team leader, Jaune, coming out from a hatch nearby. He says something that catches Yang's attention. Making her return inside.

Pyrrha takes several steps back in shock. Not even remotely prepared for what she saw. Her friends... on the same train Penny and herself have to attack. Could she even do this? Fight the people she has befriended during her time at Beacon? Back when she was... not murdered.

Penny: One minute till arrival.

Pyrrha doesn't know what to do. It would be great to meet up with them again. Given the current circumstances, however, this won't end with hugs and warm welcomes. Is this what a panic attack feels like for Pyrrha? Because she's getting one from her conflicted emotions. On one hand; she could reconnect with them. Maybe get help for what has happened to her. On the other hand; she can follow Father's orders and.... Father.

You: While this is a retrieval mission, it will also be... a test for you.

He wanted Pyrrha to go on this mission as well. Penny doesn't seem to care she'll be fighting her friends. But Pyrrha.

You: Just know that you must complete this mission by any means necessary.

This is a test of loyalty. Father knew who would be on the train.

You: Any. Means. Necessary.

To see if Pyrrha will remain loyal to Him or-

Penny: Ten seconds.

[Five minutes ago]

Within the very front of the train, Ozpin/Oscar is seated in a well furnished room. Looking over reports of the ongoing war with a cup of coffee. With the fall of Atlas and reports of the Vale government trying to blow up one of their own city's, and failing, things aren't looking good so far. He he lifts the mug and takes a sip before setting it back down on a table.

Oscar: 'This coffee tastes gross.'

Ozpin: You get used to it.

From the entrance, the alcoholic known as Qrow walks in and greets the two-in-one being.

Qrow: Just a few more hours until we cross over to Vacuo. Army forces should be meeting up with us at the last stop.

Ozpin: Good. Once we arrive, we'll deliver the cargo over to Fort Pétra and start our search from there.

Qrow: Where do we even start to look for her-

Ozpin: We'll have the support of the Vacuo scouting parties. Even with the Children and bandits, we'll accomplish our goal. With the fall of Atlas and Mistral on the brink, we don't have enough room for error now.

Qrow: And once we're done in Vacuo, we're heading to Mistral to get the relic of Knowledge back, right?

Ozpin: Of course. I don't know what the "Dryad" would want with it, or if it even knows what it has, but it would be best to assist General Shitsuke with the search as soon as possible. But until then, we simply have to have faith in her doing it on her own.

Qrow just nods in response and takes a seat across from Ozpin. Pulling out his flask and taking a sip.

From the second to last car of the train, Yang just hangs around on the roof. Leaning on the guardrail as the wind rushes through her hair. Just staring at the passing mountains as she loses herself in thought. Nothing specific, just passing the time. Robo arm twitching every now and then.

This train ride will be the first time that Yang has ever been to Vacuo. Real shame it's not for good reasons. Delivering supplies and other crap to be safe guarded by the so called most secured vault in all of Remnant. Taking a stop at Fort Pétra and than going on a search for some VIP somewhere in the Great Dunes of Vacuo.

As she goes through her thoughts, she comes across one that she's been trying to avoid. Her missing little sister, Ruby. It's been over two months and there's been no progress in even knowing where she is. Hell, all she was even told from Ozpin, the last one to see Ruby, is that some thing just picked her up and left.

Whoever--or whatever--it was, Yang is going to kick its ass when she finds them.

The hatch leading back inside the train soon opens as another blondie pops his head out.

Jaune: Hey, Yang, we're coming up on a tunnel soon. You might want to come back down.

Yang glances over her shoulder to Jaune and nods her head in acknowledgement. She soon heads back to the hatch. Jaune disappears inside, letting his friend in as Yang just jumps in. Once she's inside, the boy closes the hatch and turns to her.

Jaune: Come on, Nora convinced Ren to make some pancakes. We should head over before she eats it all.

The two begin walking a few cars ahead to get something to eat. Making their way further, a train guard arrives outside between the cars just as the duo pass by. He lets them through and watches them leave. Once they're out of sight, he makes his way over next to the door. Pulling out a pack of stogies, he leans on the guardrail. Sticking a faggot in his mouth, he soon pulls out a lighter and tries to light it. With the lighter being old and the winds not being all too friendly, he's having a hard time getting a flame.

Getting a little annoyed, he shakes the lighter a few times, tries lighting it again, and fails miserably. With a huff, he stores the cigarette back in and just desides to watch the scenery go by. Only to see a round object fly right at him. The object hits the guard hard and sends him flying back. Hitting his back against the other guardrail, he flips over and plummets to his death. Skipping across the stone ground as blood flies everywhere with each hit.

As he disappears, the object that sent him flying reveals itself to be Pyrrha with her shield in front of her. She turns to the door and makes her way inside.

Meanwhile, a Penny sized blur of silver, red, and orange flies over the train and lands on a car just ahead of the target. Quickly making her way between the cars and checking through the window. Another guard is seen just heading down a flight of stairs. Seeing the coast is surprisingly clear, she reaches for the handle and tries to open it. Locked. Using a little bit of robot strength, she starts pulling on the door. Straining metal growns out as the door starts to buckle. With a hard pull, Penny finally yanks the door from the frame. Tossing the bent metal over, she walks into the train. Completely ignoring the alarms blaring out with the red flashing lights going off.

Back with Pyrrha, she tries to sneak up on an unsuspecting guard only to get startled by the alarm.

Pyrrha: Damn it, Penny!

Instead of snapping the guard's neck, Pyrrha pulls out her sword and skewers the poor bastard as he turns around from her voice. Quickly moving on, she leaves him to bleed out on the floor as she rushes further up the train.

Within the central car, in what appears to be a mess hall, teams WBY and JNR halt their pancake eating as the room is bathed in a red light.

Jaune: What the-

Weiss: We're being attacked?!

Nora: Just when I was getting fifths!

Train guards begin running about as they rush towards the intruders. Yang, Blake, and Weiss head to the front of the train while Jaune, Ren, and Nora go to the back. More personnel rushing to the center from all over.

Back to Pyrrha, she has both sword and shield out at the ready. About three guards arrive to her location. They raise their rifles and open fire on her. Truly believing that their bullets can penetrate Pyrrha's shield as she charges at them. She barrel rolls under another stream of bullets and quickly slashes the first guard upward. As he falls back from the force, bleeding profusely, Pyrrha swings her shield around and smashes the second guard against the wall. Pinning him. Not a second later, she thrusts her sword at the third and final guard of the group. Burying the blade in his chest. Moving fast, she pulls the blade out while unpinning the other guard and slashes across his throat. Those two dropping dead.

Moving on, Pyrrha continues to the central car. Crossing over to another car, she quickly makes her way to a set of stairs before stopping from the sound of multiple footsteps. Just like that, more guards arrive with guns at the ready. She just charges at them with murderous intent. Without hesitation, she shield bashes the lead guard and sends him crashing back into his group. Knocking over a few others in the process. As they try to get back on their feet, Pyrrha just tears through them with sword and shield.

Further ahead of the car, up on the second floor, team JNR rush to the action. From what they're hearing, it sounds like a whole squadron is fighting off the guards. Taking the lead, Jaune makes his way downstairs just behind two guards. Just as the two make it down the stairs, Jaune witnesses the both of them become skewered through the ribs with a spear from the left.

Thinking fast, Jaune rushes with his own sword and shield at the ready. He shoves the now dead guards, causing the assailant to lose their spear as he goes in for a swing. Unfortunately, he ends up being blocked by a round shield. Its design disturbingly familiar.

Speaking of disturbingly familiar, Jaune gets a good look of the attacker. Skin as pale as snow with a few black veins around the eyes. Said eyes are pitch black with glowing red rings for irises. Vibrant red hair in a familiar style. Clothing reminding him of someone he knew. Someone important to him.

Someone that died.

As the two lock eyes, as well as shield and sword still locked in place, Jaune finally realizes who he's fighting. He just couldn't believe what, or who, he's seeing.

Jaune: Pyrrha?

The she-spartan's eyes go wide in shock once she realizes that she's gonna have to kick the love of her life's ass sooner than thought. She sports an awkward smile.

Pyrrha: Hello again!

She quickly shoves Jaune back, spins on her heel, and bashes him in the face with her shield. This sends the poor blond crashing into the stairs, disoriented. Not really wanting to kill him, Pyrrha just retrieves her weapon and rushes up the steps. She barely makes it halfway up before she spots Ren and Nora at the top. Both just as shocked to see their friend alive. Albeit with a new look mostly.

Nora: Hubba what?!

Ren: Wait, you're alive?

Pyrrha: Uuuhh. Hey, guys! Um, I can explain.

She looks back behind her and sees Jaune getting back up. Behind him are the piles of bodies she's made within the past minute.

Pyrrha:... Oh, to hell with it.

Turning around quickly, she flings her shield at Ren, knowing that Nora will be distracted for his safety. Just ask him out already! Anyway, the shield catches the ninja off guard, barely blocking the attack with his SMGs and causing the shield to be flung in the air. Getting knocked back, Nora looks over to her childhood friend in surprise. Giving Pyrrha the opportunity to charge up the stairs and tackle the ginger out of the way. Catching her shield from the air in the process.

Rushing up the stairs and half way down the car, Pyrrha is intercept by more guards. Without hesitation from either party, the guards open fire as Pyrrha bum rushes them. Thanks to both her shield and modified aura, Pyrrha shrugs off their shot as she impales two with her spear. Flinging them off with ease, she just starts bashing and stabbing anyone in her way.

Back at the stairs, Jaune quickly gets back up and rushes to Ren and Nora. The energetic hammer swinger getting up faster and helping the green suited ninja. Collecting some of their bearings, the group glance over to where Pyrrha ran off to and see she is already through half of the guards. Absolutely mortified by what they're seeing, the three are dumbstruck with what to do about their former teammate.

Nora, on the other hand, is much quicker to figure out what to do as she charges at Pyrrha with warhammer at the ready. Connecting the dots on the situation the moment she saw the bodies, her monsterfied friend, and the blood on her weapons to know that this thing is not their friend. With slight hesitation at first, Jaune and Ren rush to Nora's aid. Maybe, if they subdue their foe, they can figure out how to bring her back.

Pyrrha swiftly finishes off the last guard in her way by crushing his throat in with her shield. As he falls, she hears rapid footsteps behind her followed by a harsh grunt. She quickly turns around and brings her shield up. Blocking a devastating swing from Nora. This pushes her back a bit, but shrugs off the attack with ease. She thrusts her spear to try and get a jab at her assailant. The hyper ginger just sides step it and brings her hammer up to bash Pyrrha's shield away with her pummel. This barely fazes Pyrrha as she shoves her former teammate away. Only to be drop kicked by a flying Ren from the side.

As Ren and Nora are fighting Pyrrha, Jaune tries to get around and cut her off from advancing towards the train's central vault. Still somewhat uncertain of what to do.

Nora goes for a downward swing only for her hammer to be engulfed in a black aura by Pyrrha. Causing the leg-fetish-having girl to be stuck in the air before being launched back across the train. She transforms her spear to a sword and counters an attack from Ren. Quickly ramming the edge of her shield into his stomach and forcing him back. His aura stops the sharp edge from slicing him in half. It does force him back, though. Moving quick, she just pummels the Mistral dweller with a combination of sword, shield, and kicks. He manages to counter some of them, but the amazonian is far more skilled in this fight right now.

Seeing the two quickly being taken down, Jaune decides that now would be a good time to jump in.

As Ren is bashed in the thigh, causing a nasty charley horse, Pyrrha just sucker punches his nose in. The last blow of several dozen that finally makes him crumble to the floor. Almost on instinct, she swings her sword around and bashes the butt of it into a charging Nora. Her hammer almost ruining the unstoppable warrior's day. This causes Nora to stumble and fall over.

Turning around to head for the train vault, Pyrrha comes face to face with her former team leader. Jaune takes a battle stance as he reluctantly stares her down. Pyrrha, on the other hand, just looks at him funnily.

Pyrrha: Really, Jaune? No offense, but your not exactly the best in a fight.

Jaune: Why are you doing this? What even happened to you?!

She looks upon him with a somewhat pained look. Completely unprepared to even see her friends again. Let alone try to explain what has happened. Although Jaune really wants to know what happened to one of his closest friends, he noticed that Nora is slowly getting back up behind her. He just needs to stall.

Pyrrha: It's extremely complicated, Jaune, and I don't have time to explain it all. Now get out of my way, please.

Jaune: Pyrrha, we thought you died back in Beacon!

Pyrrha: Well... you're not wrong. But right now, I need you to step aside and let me pass.

Jaune: We're your friends. Whatever has happened, we can help you!

Pyrrha raises her sword and points it at Jaune.

Pyrrha: Please don't make me move you myself-

Nora suddenly swings her hammer from behind as Pyrrha was distracted. Launching her out a nearby window and out of the train. Catching some air from the hit, she soon tumbles across the dirt as the train continues to tred on. Rolling about for a few seconds, Pyrrha manages to swiftly get to her feet and start running for the train. Given the train's speed, however, she can barely catch up as she watches it disappear into a tunnel. She rushes a few more yards before finally stopping and gives up. Putting her hands behind her head as she breathes heavily.

How careless of her! She let her opponent distract her as another attacked from behind. The fact that they were her friends shouldn't have caused hesitation, but it did. Now it's jeopardized her mission and failed Father's test!

Several thoughts rush through her head from the situation. Taking one finally deep breath, Pyrrha looks down to the tracks...... and an idea pops in her head.

Getting herself on the tracks, Pyrrha begins to run. Concentrating on her semblance, her hands and feet are engulfed in a black aura. Picking up speed, she suddenly begins to hover on the metal tracks. Throwing her hands behind her, she begins to pick up speed. So much so that she's moving much faster than when she was running. Soon disappearing in the same tunnel as well.

Back on the train, now deep inside the tunnel, Penny tries to make her way to the central vault. Key word tries, as she is having some difficulty dealing with the guards coming at her from both front and back. Giggady. With her eight blades out of her little back storage thing, all attached by a thin wire, she launches several out and skewers as many guards that weren't lucky enough to hide. Anyone impaled are quickly pulled in and thrown out as weapons or shields. Blood splattering everywhere none the less.

A little bored of picking and flinging, Penny makes two tri-beam turrets and starts shooting. Each shot fatal as every guard in the car is domed. Their heads lighting up in a red glow as the skin is reduced to ash. Leaving only the skull as Penny let's their form's topple to the ground.

Their form's topple to the ground... I feel like there's a better way of saying that. Like from a famous song or something...

As the last guard falls, the air filled with the smell of iron and burning pork, Penny just strolls by the corpses of her enemies as she hums a little tune. Twirling two of her blades to amuse herself. Still wondering what to get Ruby to cheer her up.

Penny: Maybe a gun that shoots cookies? No, that sounds illogical. Or not illogical enough?

Up ahead, three figures burst through the door from the next car. A mix of yellow, black, and white face off against their intruder before sporting looks of shock and confusion.

Yang: What the fu-Penny!?

Penny: "gasp" Ying, Bloke, Swiss! It's so good to see you all again!

Before any of the three could comment on their butchered names, Penny just rushes them with all eight of her blades at the ready. Blake ninja cat's herself out of the way, Weiss exits stage left with a quick glyph, and Yang grabs a nearby table and uses it as a shield. All eight of the android's blades pierce the wooden table in the blonde's grasp and is immediately yanked away. Said table is soon splintered and scattered out, along with the robo swords, to distract the other two rushing at her.

Yang tries to throw a punch at the droid with her real arm... That shit is immediately caught by Penny with ease.

As Weiss and Blake try to push through the spastic flying swords, Penny just gives a little courtesy smile to the worried fister. Before she could yank her arm free, the automaton's hand suddenly and violently rotates at a full 360 degrees. Doing no damage to her, but Yang let's out a guttural scream. Aside from getting her arm rotated when it shouldn't, both the ulna and radius bones are snapped in half. Several of her fingers are dislocated and broken from the crushing grip. Many ligaments are torn from the palm to the wrist. The whole arm is turning several shades darker from the elbow down as blisters begin to fill with blood to the point of bursting. All from one little twist.

Penny lets go of Yang's now ruined arm. The crippled now stumbling back as she tries to cradle her broken limb.

The other two try to help, but Blake is soon overwhelmed with seven blades , gaining multiple cuts now, as Weiss now deals with one. This is seen as no problem for the heiress, until the blade suddenly flies around her. Catching her off guard as the wire attached is soon wrapped around her neck. The blade embedding itself in the ceiling, now hanging the white haired girl as she flails her rapier around to cut herself down, using her other hand to try and grab at the wire.

Yang just looks at Penny in absolute shock. The three of them taken down this fast. The artificial soul having girl slowly makes her way towards her. That same smile still plastered on her face.

Penny: You should have used your prosthetic arm. The flesh is very weak against metal.

Blake dying from a thousand cuts, Weiss turning a shade of blue, Yang takes battle stance even with her limp arm in the way. A look of worry and annoyance glued to her face with one thought on her mind. 'Where the hell is John?!'

As if answering her unvocaled question, a young man in a blue hoodie rushes up a flight of stairs close by and soon jumps off the guardrail. He pulls out a katana and launches himself behind Penny. Striking her in the side of the head. Slicing through the synthetic skin and burying the blade in her metallic cheek. This action causes the android's head to snap to the side from the force and halt her actions before spazzing out.

Retracting her blades, releasing Weiss and halting her assault on Blake, Penny quickly launches her swords out in a whirlwind of sharpened death. Forcing Yang, Blake, Weiss, and the newly arrived John to take cover. Crates, tables, even the walls and ceiling of the train are being shred by the robo ginger's twitchy reaction. Grasping her face with one hand as sparks and a strange oily substance leaks from her now broken face.

The eight blades finally come to a stop as Penny now snaps her attention to John. A glare plastered on her face as her red glowing eyes flicker on and off. The side of her face that was hit mangled into a mound of skin and metal.

Penny: WhO tHe FuC-Ck ArE yOu!?

Her voice distorted to the point of sounding like static. A sudden burst of anger sprouting from the usually cheery robot girl. Bearing all eight of her blades, Penny just assaults John with nonstop attacks. Every attack, however, is swiftly blocked with his katana. Each hit causing the blade to glow brighter and brighter.

John jumps back a fair few feet and soon swings his blade out. A wave of energy launches out and hits Penny square in the chest. Cloth and skin torn apart from the blast as the metal endoskeleton remains intact and exposed. This launches her all the way back to the far end of the car. Bashing open the door leading to the next car as she crashes in it. The train still in the tunnel, leaving everything in darkness. Catching the door frame, Penny stops herself from flying out. Pulling herself in, she is met with Yang's remaining cybernetic arm bashing in her head in an uppercut. This finally sends Penny flying out as she is launched upward into the tunnel's ceiling.

This results in her bouncing between the top of the tunnel and the roof of the train as she flies back. Like, a lot. Sparks, skin, and metal shavings fly all over as Penny is pummeled relentlessly by earth and steel. After a few seconds of being bashed, she launches her hand out and digs her fingers into the train's roof. Leaving behind scratch marks as she tries to get a hold. Finally catching the edge of a guardrail and stopping herself from anymore punishment.

The train finally exits the tunnel and is bathed in what little sunlight that pierced the clouds. Not far behind, Pyrrha continues gliding over the tracks in high speed. Now out of the tunnel, she exerts a large concentration of aura and launches herself in the air. Flying over the train and making a fair distance until she lands just one car behind the central vault. As she lands, she spots a heap of mangled metal almost in the shape of a human form just ahead.

As she slowly draws near, the mangled metal suddenly twitches to life and wobbles to its feet. Standing at 5'5 is a grotesque mesh of scratched, dent, bent, and twisted metal with what looks like strips of pale flesh and torn clothes barely hanging onto its thin form. Its face, with almost no skin covering the iron skull and patches of orange hair just hanging on in clumps, turns to look at her. Only one glowing red eye staring her down, the other one missing from its socket. A full set of white teeth completely exposed, giving a disturbing grin to the amazonian. It bellows out a familiar yet distorted voice.

Penny: [Oh, friend Pyrrha! Good to see you again!]

This catches Pyrrha completely off guard.

Pyrrha: Penny!? What happened to you?

Penny: [A minor hiccup on my part. Nothing too serious.]

Pyrrha: O...k? Listen, we can't try searching for the artifact anymore.

Penny: [What do you suggest we do then?]

Pyrrha:..... We're taking the whole car.

One car ahead, back with team WBY and John, the group try to collect their bearings from the quick assault. Blake checks on Weiss' neck, a red line across her entire throat from the strangulation. John helps put Yang's mangled arm in a makeshift sling. Doing his damndest to be gentle.

Yang: Ow, fuck! Where the hell were you?

John: Hey, I was at the very front of the train! I didn't expect the train to be hit dead center from two ends.

Weiss: "cough" Next time, you're staying with the vault like the rest of us.

John: Yeah. Speaking of which, we should check on it and see how the others are holding up. Yang, you stay behind until the coast is clear.

The blonde bombshell goes in for a retort, only for John to hold up a finger to silence her. She lets out an annoyed sigh as she nods her head. Satisfied with her response, he stands up and makes his way to the busted door. Weiss and Blake following close behind. As he makes it to the empty door frame, the metallic humanoid known as Penny lands in front of him and rams a blade into his stomach. Caught off guard, his aura was not prepared to block the attack. Leaving the blade to easily pierce the flesh and slice through a few organs. Forcing him to let out a pained gasp.

Twisting the blade out of spite, while grabbing his katana out of his hand, Penny lifts John up and quickly tosses him forward. Catching the two off guard as the bleeding boy lands on top of them.  Penny takes the katana and tosses it at an unsuspecting Yang. Catching her in her right shoulder. This sends her falling back as the blade pierces the flesh and negates the use of her remaining arm.

Moving fast, Penny looks down to the locking mechanism connecting the two cars and quickly gets to work. Taking out five of her blades, three of which were loss in her little tumble a minute ago, she starts hacking away at the lock. Within seconds, the metal of the lock is shred to pieces just in time to dodge several shots from Blake's weapon. Penny quickly takes her leave by using her blades to sling herself up and over the train. The destruction of the lock causing the two cars to slowly separate.

On the other side, Pyrrha jumps down between the vault and the next car. Peaking to the door, she looks through the small port and sees her old team along with several guards rushing over. Pulling back a fist, she throws a powerful punch at the door handle. With her inhuman strength, and some help from her semblance, she manages to warp the metal. Causing the door not to open. Wasting no time, she turns around, takes her shield out, and starts bashing away at the conjoining locks. With several solid hits, the lock falls apart and separates the vault from the rest of the train.

Ignoring the sound of a hammer trying to bash down the door behind her, Pyrrha climbs up the car and walks to the center of the roof. Penny, finished with her task, lands close by to her ally.

Penny: [Vault has been successfully separated. Begin extraction.]

Nodding her head, Pyrrha stretches her arms out and concentrates. Her hands emit a dark aura as her semblance is activated. Exerting more power, not only are her hands completely engulfed, but the underside of the car becomes covered in the same aura as well. Sweat forms on Pyrrha's brow as she tries lifting the vault.

Just like that, the car begins to lift from the tracks. Albeit slowly. Seeing the difficulty for Pyrrha, Penny extends her inbuilt flight wings and takes to the sky. She uses her remaining blades and hooks herself to the vault, putting the jets at full blast.

Now with both spartan and automaton working together, the single car now lifts to the air with ease. Back down to the halved train, the guards start climbing to the roof of the cars and begin to open fire on the flying vault. At the front of the train, as the engine is shutdown to stop, Ozpin finally makes it outside and watches in shock and awe at the display. Glancing back to the rest of the train, he sees the main cannon take aim for the flying car. He quickly pulls out his scroll and presses a button.

Ozpin: Stand down! We cannot risk destroying the cargo inside!

The main cannon ceases movement, now not planning on shooting something anymore. Ozpin just continues to watch in disbelief as the vault quickly disappears behind a mountain.

Ozpin: No no no no. This can't be happening.

His scroll soon rings out. Catching his attention, he hesitantly answers it.

Ozpin: What is it?

Blake: We have a problem! Yang and John are bleeding! Badly!

Ozpin: Ok, stay put. We'll send a medical team your way-

*beep beep*

Ozpin: Wait a moment. *beep* Yes?

Jaune: She's alive! PYRRHA IS ALIVE! I don't know how, but she attacked us and made off with the vault!

Sporting a shocked expression, Ozpin looks back up at the direction the vault disappeared to.

Ozpin: What in the holy hell is going on?

As he wonders this, a lone crow quickly follows behind the flying vault. Keeping a safe distance to not be spotted.

Somewhere in the eastern parts of Vale, Tollgerr and Regret wait in the middle of buttfuck nowhere for War and Nanner to show up.

Regret: You know, you don't have to wait here with me. Hell, you don't even need to be involved at all.

Tollgerr: Pastor Nichts has instructed that I supervise your groups activities to make sure you complete your tasks at the fullest and not to stray from your goals.

Regret: Good luck with that.

After many seconds, the sound of rushing wind can be heard above them. Look up, the sight of a metal object can be seen coming fast. A moment later, it crashes right in front of them, kicking up dirt to form a dust cloud. Settling down, the sight of a kneeling mechanized man can be seen rising up. Soon revealing a fully armored Warlider. He reaches behind himself and pulls out what appears to be a banana. He tosses it aside. As it hits the ground, it explodes in a cloud of golden glitter. Appearing before them is a giant man in gold armor from head to toe. This one being p0zi0ner, aka Nanner.

Nanner: WHAT'S UP, BITCHES!

Tollgerr:.... I don't like them already.

Regret: How come you guys get cool entrances!?

War: Fuck you, that's why.
