A/n: Those were good times...

[Location: Vale]
The sun rises above the city as a small convoy travels in from the outskirts. A total of four armored vehicles driving through a broken city that has suffered so much. With one of them carrying more valuable cargo than soldiers. Up ahead, a lone beowolf trudges in the street as it sniffs the ground. The sudden rumble from the convoy catches its attention at the last second as the first vehicle rams into it with its grill. Blood, bone and visceral burst from the impact as the Grimm becomes nothing more than a carcass thrown to the side.
The convoy continues on to its destination to the center of the city with little effort for the time being. Several blocks over in a tall building, a rifle pokes out from a window as it spots the convoy. Specifically one of them in the middle.
Ean: Target acquired. Four in total. Terra-bombs in second vehicle up front. Over.
Down below in an abandoned cafe, the leader of Zeta squad places a finger to his ear piece.
Zac: Wait until they arrive our way. Then take the shot. Over.
He is given an affirmative from the team sniper as he takes his finger away. The rest of the squad waiting in their assigned posts around the street. Ean keeps his cross hairs trained on the designated vehicle as it continues down the road. After a few seconds of waiting, the convoy draws near the destination. Without hesitation, Ean pulls the trigger and fires a shot at the driver.
A moment later, the bullet hits home. It shatters the driver side window and strikes the target in the temple. Blood and grey matter splatter across the windshield. Not a second later the vehicle loses control, veers off the road and crashes into a building. Coming to a sudden halt. The other three come to a safer stop as soldiers poor out and begin surrounding the fourth.
Zac: Now!
From the buildings and alley ways, the rest of Zeta squad burst out from their cover and open fire on the soldiers. Catching them off guard. Charging from an alley with guns blazing is Zac and Leo, one taking well placed shots on the enemy while the other just spray and pray. Either one hoping not to hit the truck with the bombs.
Poking out from a nearby window is Ben with an SMG. Releasing short bursts of fire on close by targets. Ducking back down every now and then when the enemy returns fire.
As the soldiers of Vale begin to wisen up and start fighting back, that is when an armored woman jumps from a nearby building and lands on the protected truck. She pulls out a blade and bares down on the unknowing soldiers. As Ellen lands, she plunges her sword into a soldier's back. His gasp blocked out by the blaring gunfire. She pulls away and swings her weapon around to strike down another foe.
As Zeta squad dwindles the enemy forces down to the last man, he bolts around the truck and tries to make a run for it. The fear of death overwriting his sense of duty. As he rounds the vehicle, Ellen suddenly appears in front of him after making an agile leap over the truck.
Ellen: Where do you think you're going?
Out of panic the soldier raises his rifle and opens fire. A short hail of bullets fly directly at Ellen as she stands. Without moving she lets the shots simply bounce off of her armor. Sparks and pieces of lead scatter through the air as she begins to walk forward to the frightened soldier.
With quick movement she rushes forward and impales her sword into his neck. After a moment's hesitation the soldier finally drops his rifle and grasps at the blade. Blood flows from the wound as he lets out a few gurgles. He slowly descends to the ground as he stares into the glowing red slits of Ellen's helmet.
She quickly twists the blade in his neck as a loud snap rings out. The soldier goes limp and finally falls over with a thud. Looking upon her handy work, she raises her sword over to her other arm and places it within her forearm. Squeezing tightly, she slowly drags the sword across. Somewhat cleaning the blade of excessive blood. Her task finished, she walks back around the truck and regroups with the rest of her squad.
The medic and heavily armored members looking over the dead bodies of their enemies while the leader looked inside the designated vehicle.
Ellen: Well, that's all of them.
Zac: And we're lucky none of the bombs got hit in the cross fire, thank the Father.
Leo: One question, boss. What's stoppin' the Gov from sending in more bombs?
Zac: These terra-bombs can tear down the land and additional buildings within into a neat flat dirt field inside their radius. No messy blast spread or hazardous left overs. They don't sound like the easiest or cheapest to make, so I think the city is safe from any artificial disasters.
Ellen: How many do we have?
Zac: About twelve in all. Now, all aboard!
He walks to the driver's side and opens the door to the seat. As he opens the door, the previous driver slumps out and falls down to the pavement below. A large chunk of his head missing from the start of the attack. Mostly splattered across the window. Zac takes his place in the driver's seat and starts wiping away some of the blood and brain pieces to see out of. Ellen makes her way to the passenger side and enters as well. Ben and Leo climb in from the back with the bombs. With minor complaints. Zac activates his communicator.
Zac: Ean, we'll make our way to you. Sit tight. Over.
Ean: Boss! You have a pack of Grimm heading toward your way! A whole lot of big ones too!
Zac: Shit!
Without hesitation he puts the truck in reverse and pulls out of the building it was accidentally situated in. Catching the two passengers in the back off guard as they topple over on eachother. Wasting no time, the truck soon accelerates forward down the street. Running over one or four bodies as they do so.
A moment later, as the truck zooms down the road, the ground begins to rumble. Then, far down the other side of the road, Grimm barrel down the pavement as they spot the speeding vehicle. The chase begins. The truck speeds down the road with the Grimm quickly catching up. The heavy armor on the vehicle keeping them from making a swift escape.
Ben: Can't this damn thing go any faster!?
Zac: Feel free to jump out and push If you want!
Next to Ben, Leo stands up and walks over to the back opening. Hoisting up his weapon of choice. A 10 gauge gatling shotgun.
Aiming at their pursuers, he revs up his weapon. A quick moving creep makes its way ahead of the pack and makes a leap for Leo. Wasting no time he pulls the trigger and reduces the jumping Grimm into a mist of gore. Not letting up, the pellets continue to fly into the pack. Grimm, road, and buildings being torn through with the never ending lead storm.
Leo: FUCK ACCURACYYYYYYYY!!
With the Grimm numbers greatly brought down and pushed back, Zeta squad begins to make better distance with their loot. The large gunman finally lets up on the trigger, the floor of the truck littered with shells.
Zac: Well, thank Father for impractical weapons. Nice work, Leo. Ean, see any more hazards you want to announce?
Ean: Uuh-
A wall from a near by building explodes with a purple field as they speed pass it. Floating out in the same energy is a rotting woman covered in blood as it lets out an ear shattering scream.
Leo: Witch!
The Grimm soon catch up. The Witch looks to the speeding truck however and ignores the fast approaching beasts. A beowolf tries to take a swipe at it only to be caught in the surrounding purple field. Within a second, it is torn to shreds as the Witch soon barrels down after Zeta squad. Leo lifts up his weapon and begins shooting at their new pursuer. Unlike the Grimm, the pellets simply bounce off of the energy field protecting the undead creature.
From his same position, Ean sees the whole thing unfold from his vantage point. With the truck quickly making its way, he attaches a grappling hook from his belt to the window sill. Not wasting a second, he jumps out of the window and begins to descend. The grappling hook keeping him from plummeting to his death. With well timing, he unhooks from the cord and free falls the rest of the way. Until he safely lands on top of the moving vehicle and aims his sniper rifle at the Witch.
Even with both Ean and Leo, with no help from Ben, the Witch continues to catch up with them. Tearing apart both road and any Grimm foolish enough to get too close in its field.
Zac: Dammit, this is getting out of hand! Ellen, do something!
Without saying a word, she grabs the truck door and swings herself out and over on top of the moving vehicle. She looks behind and sees the Witch gaining on them, with bullets completely peppering it with no effect. She pulls out her sword and holds is out in front of her. Concentrating, an orange field begins to form around her hands and blade. After a few seconds, she points her sword at their pursuer and quickly lets go. With near lightning speed, she launches her other hand at the handle with an open palm. As she makes contact, a shock wave launches from around her as the sword is fired out directly towards the Witch. Without time to react, the sword becomes embedded into its chest. Completely piercing the destructive purple field.
The force of the hit whips the creature back and launches it into a building. The force of the impact causes the structure to crumble down on top of the Witch. As Leo and Ean cease fire, the truck soon makes a turn and disappears from the Grimm. Ean quickly grabs the side of his head. The result of the shock wave leaving him momentarily deaf.
Ean: OW, MY FUCKING EARS!
Ellen:... "sigh" I'm not getting that sword back.
Ean: WHAT?
Zac: Good job, Ellen. Do you think that killed it?
Ean: WHAT?
A moment later an all too familiar screech echoes through the air.
Ellen: No.
Ean: WHAT?
Zac: Ok. Now that that's dealt with, let's get this cargo back to the outpost and have it sent to Vacuo.
Ean: WHAT?
Zeta squad soon takes the truck back to their base for shipping out. They remain silent on the drive.
Ean: WHAT?
Leo: Homo says what?
Ean: WHAT?
Leo: Hahahaa!
[Location: Grimm castle]
In a land with not as much sunlight stands the ever present Castle. Within its many rooms, literally housing only six people, Pyrrha is called upon to the study. As she enters, she spots you in a corner with an open book in hand and a pile of books stacked on a nearby table.
You: Pyrrha, take a seat with me. I would like to talk with you.
Pyrrha grabs a chair and brings it next to you. As she sits down, she takes a look at the book you are holding. It appears to be a book on electromagnetics. Glancing over to the pile, she sees more books involving quantum physics, magnetism, polarities and anything else related.
Pyrrha: Um, is there something you need, Father?
You: Yes. I need to kill Ozpin, abolish the current governments in power, restore my full capabilities, kill Ozpin, usher in a new world order, properly raise Eve, kill Ozpin, figure out what the hell to do with my little 'project baby', kill Ozpin, kill Ozpin, and figure out what to do with the new influx of Ocs that I'm now forced to give two shits about. But that's neither here nor there.
You say as you continue to read. Bewilderment is an understatement for Pyrrha right now.
You: No. Right now, I want to talk to you about your semblance. Polarity. Magnetic manipulation, in lame-ass terms.
Pyrrha:... Don't you mean layman's ter-
You slam the book shut with force, startling Pyrrha. You look over to her as you point the book at her face.
You: DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW STUPIDLY O.P. YOU ARE!?
Pyrrha: I-I'm sorry?
You: Stop that. After some info searching, I have discovered that, besides moving metal around, you can also manipulate anything that is effected by magnetism. Which is a lot.
Pyrrha: Oh. Well, that's... interesting. I've never really considered such a thing. I just focuse on the practical use.
You: That's a dirty word in this house, Pyrrha. Pay attention, this might get a little confusing at first but once you fully understand, you'll become one of the most powerful beings in the world. To help comprehend what the hell I'm talking about, here's a little video of what you are capable of once you've mastered your semblance... LIGHTS!
The lights immediately shut off as a bright illuminated screen appears on a nearby wall. A video plays out.
After the video ends, the screen disappears and the lights come back on. Momentarily blinding Pyrrha.
You: So, that's literally all the things you can do with your magnetism.
Pyrrha:...... I can levitate?!
You: Is that seriously all you got from this? So, along with your maiden powers, we're gonna be working on your semblance as well. You up for this?
Pyrrha looks at you for a few seconds, thinking over everything that was mentioned. She sports a look of determination.
Pyrrha: My body is ready for anything, Father!
You: That sounds very suggestive... We'll start your training tomorrow. Right now, I got shit to do and I don't feel like duplicating myself to get more done.
With your conversation over with, Pyrrha takes her leave with a bit of vim and vigor with the upcoming new training. You open your book in hand and continue reading. Over time, a thought crosses your mind.
You: I wonder how Ruby's doing on her little "mission"? Maybe that was a little sadistic of me to do to her... Eh, I'm sure she's fine.
[Location: Patch]
Ruby is certainly not fine... With her father chasing her through the Patch forest like a rabid dog, she tries to figure out how to get out of this situation. While also thinking that it was a bad to come back home. Even with her semblance in full force, because of a short scuffle after she was thrown through the door, at some point she sprained her ankle. Giving Tai plenty of time to catch up with her.
She zooms around a tree and keeps "running". With a great feat of strength, Tai brings back a fist and smashes it against the tree. Shattering at the base and falling backwards. As it descends on him, he raises his hands up and catches the large tree. His knees buckle for a second before he looks up and glares at the limping Ruby. With all his might he throws the tree at her as she tries to dodge to the side. The tree crashes into several others as it flies towards her.
She successfully avoids the flying tree just in time. Only for this action to cause her to fall to the ground, giving Tai a chance to catch her. Ruby quickly gets back up and sees him preparing to strike. Thinking fast she raises her arms up in defense. As the fist hits her arms, nearly causing them to snap even with her aura, he swings his other fist at her stomach. This sends Ruby flying back, knocking her helmet off in the process. She soon crashes against a tree and falls to the forest floor. Coughing up some blood as she tries to regain her breathing.
Tai slowly walks towards her as he flex his fingers.
Tai: Sixteen years I have tried my damnedest to raise you properly, Ruby. Sixteen years of nurturing you and Yang without your mother to be outstanding girls. And how do you repay me? By betraying everyone? Your friends, Yang, me, Remnant! We just don't matter to you anymore, is that it?
He soon stands over Ruby as she struggles to get back up. Tears welling up in her eyes as she tries to choke out her words.
Ruby: "cough" Dad, p-please-
Tai brings his foot down on her back. Knocking what little air she had left out of her. He grabs her by the neck and lifts her up in the air. Forcing her to his height.
Tai: Your not my daughter.
He pulls back his fist as he stares at Ruby with murderous intent. She just stares back in shock. Hoping beyond hope that this was just a bad dream.
Before Tai could strike her once more, Ruby's eyes begin to glow. Instead of two glowing wings emanating just like when she was at the fall of Vale, they simply glow brighter and brighter until a small area around the two is consumed in white. A moment later the light explodes. Burning away any nearby trees and setting fire to the forest floor.
As the burning light finally settles, all that remains is Ruby still being held in the air. Her eyes are shut tight. After a moment she falls to the ground on her backside. She finally opens her eyes and looks up. Her eyes grow wide and she lets her mouth hang open in shock. Not a sound escaping. Standing in front of her, with the hand that was holding her up now gone, is an ash like statue of Tai. His fist still pulled back for a punch that will never come. And a hateful scorn forever plastered on his face.
For the moment.
With just a slight breeze, the ashen form simply crumbles to the ground. As it crashes to the floor, gusts of ash spread up and around. Ruby panics and crawls away a bit to avoid touching any of the remains. The airborne ash finally settles and stays planted to the dirt. She just sits there, staring at the dark gray pile that was once her father. The man who raised her and her sister for most of their lives. And he tried to kill her...
The only thing she can do now is cry. Cry over the fact that one of the few people she could trust not only attacked her, but is dead as well. Cry over the fact that this is the first actual person that she killed. And lastly, that she is now an orphan.
She buries her face into her hands and continues to cry. As she does so, a strange black mist floats out of the ash pile and flies into the air. Traveling to the direction of its original source.
[Location: Grimm castle]
You haven't moved from your seat in the study for quite some time. You have long moved on from your previous book and started reading another book by some guy from Mistral.
You:... Boy I don't know who this Tzu guy is, but he sure knows how to make war sound like an art.
After reading a few more pages, without looking away, you reach your hand out to a window. Just then the strange black mist flies in and is absorbed back into your hand. You shut your book and let out a small chuckle.
You: Heh... Five. Four. Three. Two.
Within your form, your phone begins to ring. Wasting no time you pull it out and wait for a second.
Soon you press a button and hold it up to where your ear should be. Knowing full well who is calling.
You: Hello?... Ah, Ruby! How is-... Wait, slow down. What happened?... Ok, stay where you are. I'll pick you up.
Ending the call, you stash your phone away. Putting aside your book, you stand up.
You:.... Hah! I am such an asshole! Here's hoping this has the necessary effect on her.
*bamf*
Back at Patch, Ruby is sitting outside her old home with her equipment. Right now she is hugging Zwei as he tries to cheer her up by clicking her cheek. It has little affect at this point.
*bamf*
Your arrival catches their attention. Zwei hops off of Ruby's lap as she tries to stand up. Her ankle still sprained from before. You kneel in front of her to be at eye level. The two of you just stare at eachother for a few seconds...
She suddenly wraps her arms around your neck and buries her head in your chest, letting loose a new stream of tears. Without saying a word, you wrap your arms around her smaller frame and return the hug. Just letting her cry. Sitting close by is Zwei as his ears droop from the scene unfolding before him.

A/n: Back to a topic in the first video. If Pyrrha could actually make lightsabers, this is what they would actually do.
