[Location: Two miles off the coast of Atlas]

Flying towards the winter wonderland of Atlas, a bullhead housing three individuals and a pilot make their way into the middle of a war zone. Seated in one of the chairs is Dr. Arthur Watts, former Atlas scientist tasked with gaining access to the Atlesian manufacturing facilities and the R&D district. Sitting across from him, fiddling with her new camera, is the undead half Grimm half faunus, Velvet Scarlatina, sporting the mortal wound forever placed on her chest.

Standing in the center of the bullhead with a small smile on her face is the quirky, and slightly glitchy, Penny Polendina.

Pilot: One minute till arrival.

Catching their attention, Velvet and Watts stand up and look out the port window with Penny. They see off in the distance a land of ice and snow... along with rising smoke and airships all around. Explosions can be seen, heard, and almost felt from the bullhead.

Watts: Atlas... It has been a long time since I last laid eyes upon it.

Penny grabs the handle and slides the hatch open. The cold air suddenly whips into the bullhead, forcing Watts to raise an arm to protect his face from the harsh winds, having no affect on Penny and Velvet however.

Watts: Did not miss the weather, though.

Penny: It seems the temperature has dropped by 40° then what is normally exceptional.

Pilot: That would be the Banshee's fault.

Watts: The what?

Pilot: Two months ago, three titans came out of nowhere and started going crazy across Remnant. The Mountain in Vacuo, the Dryad in Mistral, and the Banshee in Atlas. This thing causes a blizzard 24/7, freezing everything in it's path. Plus with the Children hammering down on them, Atlas is fighting a non-stop battle. Oh hey! You can almost see it from here!

Over across the shore, the three can see a harsh blizzard raging on. The site of several Atlas airships firing blindly in it can be seen. On closer inspection, the silhouette of a human like figure flying around in the blizzard flashes in existence every now and then. Velvet raises her camera and takes a picture of the scene.

Watts:... We are going to have to deal with that at some point, aren't we?

Penny: Odds of confrontation in the near future are high, yes.

Pilot: Don't worry. The Atlas Military have focused some of there forces to try and deal with it. So far, all they can manage to do is veer it away from populated areas. Which is where the Children have focused most of their fighting-WOAGH!

With a sharp turn, the bullhead dodges an on coming missile flying at them. The sudden movement causes Watts to stumble forward. Velvet immediately launches her hand out and grabs him by the collar of his shirt and pulls him back in. Watts grabs an overhead rail bar and clenches his chest, breathing rapidly. He looks over at Velvet and nods his head in thanks. A burning Atlas jet flies pass them with a Children's fighter continuing to fire at it.

(Atlas)

(Children)

Landing a few more well placed shots, the engine of the Atlas jet explodes and sends it plummeting towards the earth.

Watts:... How much further from the drop off?

Pilot: Just a little further. However, this dogfight is gonna take us a little longer.

Penny: Why do people refer to aerial battles as dogfights, anyway? There are no canines capable of flying any type of air vehicle, much less use them for combat. "Gasp" Did they actually train dogs on how to fly and recruit them in the air force?!

Everyone remains silent from that statement. A nevermore attacks an Atlas jet in the distance.

Pilot:... Any way, there might be a slight dilay on the arrival.

Watts: "grunt" Just set us down as close as possible. We'll try to make our way on foot-What are you doing?

Penny walks to the edge of the bullhead and turns around to face the two staring at her.

Penny: I'm going to go find an Air Bud!

She leans backwards and falls out of the bullhead. Falling through the air, she has a stoic expression as her backpack opens up. Two metal plates begin to unfold and extend outward to either side of her. Once extended they form into metallic fighter wings.

A moment later, Penny goes from free falling to soaring through the sky. Using her mounted guns she chases down an Atlas jet and opens fire, destroying it within moments. The pilot ejects from the plain, using his parachute to slowly descend. Using her wings, Penny flies straight through the parachute cable. Sending the pilot plummeting to his death.

Watts and Velvet simply look on from the bullhead.

Watts:....... Alright then. I guess that settles the air traffic, I suppose. Now we just have to-

Without giving Watts time to finish, Velvet runs out and does a slight backflip. In the air she places her feet on the underside of the bullhead wing and kicks with all her might, sending her flying straight down towards the streets of Atlas wjile rocking the bullhead just a bit.

Watts: Is everybody in this damned group completely cracked?!

Pilot: I don't know, maybe?

Velvet continues to fall towards the streets, raging with both Atlas and Children forces. Suddenly she reaches her hands out and blue holographic pixels start form in her hands. A moment later they form into two blades connected by a chain.

As she grows closer to the ground, Velvet throws one of the blades at a building snd pulls with all of her strength. This action causes her to then swing between some buildings and fly over a fire fight. A group of Children followers decked out in new armor push back a squad of Atlesian droids.

Velvet detaches the holo blade and lands in the middle of another squad led by a human commander. Moving quickly she swings her blades around her, slicing through all of them except for the commander. He spins around in surprise and raises his rifle only for it to be cut in half, along with his arm, by Velvet. He stumbles backwards in shock and falls to the ground. Pathetically trying to crawl away, he looks up and sees Velvet simply staring at him. In one swift motion, Velvet swings the blades in the air and down towards him. He lets out a yell before being silenced forever by two blades being embedded into his chest. Velvet yanks them out and walks off to a random direction to continue the battle of Atlas.

[Location: One mile over Atlas]

Hovering in the air is one of the Children's dreadnoughts, the Raptor.

Standing in the bridge along with a crew is Commander Joshua Ironwood in a grey uniform.

He continues to stare at his new left arm, flexing his fingers, before looking back at a holo map in the middle of the deck. A moment later one of the crew members spins around holding an earpiece to his head.

Crewmember: Sir! Incoming transmission from an unknown contact. They are using a pre existing channel.

Joshua: Put them through.

*beep*

Joshua: This is Commander Joshua of the Raptor. State your business.

Penny: Salutations, Mr. Joshua!

Joshua:... Penny?

Penny: Yes indeed!

Joshua: Well, I guess that means Dr. Watts is here as well. Where are you?

Penny: I'm in the sky, looking for flying dogs.

Joshua: 'What the fuck?' O... k?

Penny: Oh! That reminds me. I would like two fighters to help escort Dr. Watts's bullhead, please.

Joshua: Um, sure. I'll have them dispatched immediately.

Penny: Spectacular! Have a wonderful day, Mr. Joshua.

Joshua: You too, Penny. Goodbye.

Penny: Farewell!

*beep*

Joshua:........ Flying dogs?

[Location: Atlas CCT]

Watts' p.o.v.

Well thank God for Joshua for sending those escorts after the corpse and android abandoned me! Once the bullhead made it to the Cross Continental Transmit System, I made my way to the entrance with little trouble. As I make it, it seems that the doors have been sealed shut with security.

Watts: Well damn.

Atlassoldier1: Freeze!

Watts: Well damn!

I raise my hands and slowly turn around. Two Atlas soldiers are pointing rifles at me.

Atlassoldier2: State your business here.

Watts: My business?... I am here to break into the CCT, hack into the system, and gain access to the Atlesian factories and R&D labs.

Atlassoldier1: You are under arrest.

Before he could make a move, the android falls from the sky and crushes him into paste.  The second soldier jumps back in fright and prepares to shoot as Penny retracts her wings. Suddenly a blue blade bursts through his chest from behind and is violently pulled backwards into the air. As he flies out of sight, the faunus Grimm simply walks over as her holographic weapons disappear. She appears to be covered in blood and gore... It looks like she has been eating.

Watts: Glad to see you two are taking a break from your murderthon to finally help me.

Penny: Of course! It is our main objective.

Velvet simply gives me a bloody thumbs up.

Watts: At any rate. The doors are sealed shut, and I don't see a terminal anywhere.

Penny: Allow me.

Penny walks to the doors as Velvet and I take a step back. Her backpack opens up and eight of her blades fly out and shoot into the doors. Walking backwards, she starts pulling on the swords. The sound of straining metal resonates through the air. With a final pull, the doors are ripped out and sent flying over our heads. The swords return to Penny's backpack and it closes back up.

Penny: Obscurity terminated!

We make our way into the CCT and take an elevator up. As we ascend, I glance over to the blood soaked Velvet. Obviously she ate someone. I take a step away from her and closer to Penny.

Penny: "sigh" I couldn't find a single flying dog on the way here.

I look at Penny and immediately step away from her. Velvet suddenly started coughing. It then transitions to hacking her lungs out. She brings her hand up to her mouth and coughs up a piece of meat. Holding it in her hand, she sniffs it for a second before placing it back in her mouth and starts chewing. As she swallows I take a large step away from her, practically hugging the wall with a look of absolute discuss.

The elevator doors finally slide open and I rush out and to the nearest terminal, plugging in my scroll. A 'W' appears on the terminal screen and I get straight to work.

Penny: Well, Doctor? Do you have access?

Watts: Yes. I have access to the facilities and their locations.

Penny: Can you be able to gain control of the Atlesians?

Watts: Not from here, no. However, I can be able to shut down all active droids. That should make things easier for the Children.

With a few lines of coding, I put in a command for a mass shut down.

Watts: Aaaannd that should do it! The nearest factory is a few minutes away by bullhead. We gain control to it's manufacturing system, we can build our own Atlesian army and push back the Atlas forces.

Penny: Fantastic! Let's go!

I grab my scroll and we make our way back to the elevator. I make a call to our pilot.

Watts: We're done here. Pick us up and we'll move on to our next objective.

Pilot: Good to hear. Also, y'all just got a new buddy to ride along with.

Once we step out of the CCT, we see the bullhead parked just outside. Along with a boy with green eyes and brown hair standing infront of it, wearing a bullet vest.

Penny: Salutations, Donn!

Both Penny and Velvet wave at him as he spots us. He waves back.

Donn: Hello!

Watts: What are you doing here, boy?

Donn: I was sent to help you in anyway possible.

Watts: Riveting. Get in the bullhead and I will fill you in on the plan, I guess.

He nods his head and follows us into the bullhead. As it takes off, I start explaining the details of our task while we fly over the continuing battle. Hopefully this boy won't get himself killed. That'd be inconvenient.
