Ashley POV

Everyone turned to me including Jasmine.
"Ready to battle?" She shouted
"Ready then I'll ever be!" I replied
"Huh? A battle, this is gonna be good!" My dad (ash) said
"Yeah!" My mum (Serena) replied
"Go! Piplup!" Jasmine shouted
"Come on out, Chespin!" I said
"Wow a grass type! She has the advantage, you can do it honey!" My mum said
"Chespin this is our first battle so let's try our best!" I said to Chespin "you ready?" I added
"Chespin!" It replied
"Use vine whip!" I shouted
"Dodge it!" Said jasmine
Piplup tried to dodge it but failed and the vine whip landed a critical hit on piplup.
"Pip......lup" it moaned
"Use bubble beam!" Jasmine said
"Chespin use vine whip on the ground!" I said
"Chespin pin!" It replied
The bubble beam was heading straight towards Chespin but it quickly used vine whip on the ground sending rocks flying up in the air. The rocks countered the bubbles leaving Chespin unharmed.
"That's my girl!" Dad shouted
"Use tackle!" I told Chespin
"Chespin pin pin!"
Chespin made the final blow on piplup and piplup fell to the ground with swirls in its eyes.
"Well done Chespin!" I said in a calm voice
"Chespin!" It replied happily
I held it up and started stroking it on its head.
"Pin pin!" It said calmly
My dad started walking towards Chespin and me probably wanting to congratulate me.
"Well done Ashley!" He said
He then started stroking Chespin on the head.
"Chespin Chespin!" It said
"How about I make you two some pokepuffs?" My mum asked
"That would be great mum!" I replied
"Chespin!"
