Ashley POV
I knocked on the lab door and then a voice told me to come inside. I did so and I was met by professor oak the famous Pokemon professor known from all around the world. I told him that I was here for a starter and he told me I could choose one of the 20 Pokemon in the room. I saw one Pokemon that stood out to me, chespin.
It had green spikes coming out its head and a brown body with a few lighter shades of brown marked on it. It had a beedy black nose and big black eyes, it had a green tail with a red tip on the end of it. It was really cute so I asked professor oak and he said I could!
I thanked him and picked up five Pokeballs, A pokedex and chespin. Chespin ran up to me and hugged my leg, it was adorable! I petted it and then returned it to it's Pokeball.

I turned around and headed back outside to meet jasmine and both of our parents.
