London has always been my favorite place, I don't know why but it has always had a positive vibe. London is my birth place. I grew up here and we moved to New York when I turned 15. This place has always had a special space in my heart.

I saw my oh so familiar neighborhood. I was about to go to the park nearby but my phone started ringing. To my joy it was Maria.

Where do I start telling you about Maria. Maria Eve Johnson. My childhood friend. My partner in crime. We have done everything together. From matching bracelets to matching tattoos. From joining school to joining a gang. We did everything together. We love each other more than Tyler loves ice cream. Oh from Tyler I remembered that during 8th grade Tyler had the biggest crush on Maria.

I reached Maria's house and as I was about to enter Maria jumped on me making both of us fall and laugh hysterically.

"So best friend, what brings you here. You sounded serious on the phone. What is it"?, Maria asked looking curious.

"Eve, I want to make everything right again. I don't want his men behind me every fucking minute. Jared has crossed the line. I don't want this anymore. I have finally found a man I love, I can't lose him now". Maria had a mixed expression. I know it was hard for her to take it all in.

She hesitated a moment and said,"Well if you're in, then I am in too. Let's just do our last mission together"

Told you she's my partner in crime.

"I'm thinking about going to meet him tomorrow morning".

"Okay. Then let's go to our favorite places today". Eve's eyes held so much joy that I couldn't say no to her.

We made our to do list which consisted of 5 things.

We decided to first go to our cliff. Obviously it's not literally our cliff but it's something we found while doing a job. It gave us peace and time to heal our wounds.

When we reached the cliff. Maria looked at me with sad eyes and asked. "Do you really want to do this? Ashley this is dangerous. And the last thing I want is for you to be injured"

I knew Eve was right. J is not someone to mess with.

"Maria, I know that. But I don't want any harm on Aiden". Before I knew I was crying.

"Then let's approach David for help. You know David has more power and can keep J on his leash".

"Evie, David is a dangerous man. A very dangerous man".

"Ash, you and I both know that David unlike J has a daughter and knows how to respect women. So I'm pretty sure it's a better choice. Dangerous but better".

I looked down thinking about the pros and cons. Maria took my hand and told me it's time to go to the next place.

I looked at Maria hesitatedly but got up, cleaned the dust off me and ran down the steep to go to our car.

It's our thing we race each other to the vehicle.

The next destination was to go to 'Hailey's frozen treats'. Grandma Hailey is an old lady in her 60s, she is very cheerful and actually fun. Like not the forceful grandma fun. Actually fun.

We reached Hailey's and as soon as I entered I was engulfed into a hug my Megan. Meg is an employee here. I used to work her. And she is like the sister I never had. Meg lived a difficult life until his hot supporting boyfriend came and swept her off her feet. Their story is one of the best thing ever. So pure.

Meg bombarded me with questions about my whereabouts and why I hadn't texted her and whatnot. After explaining everything to her. She looked at me,"Ash, I know you love him and you want to do this to protect him. But pleaseeeee in this process don't hurt yourself. And if you need any help you know where to find me".

Megan has also been in a gang. And was actually quite a catch during her bad girl days. Gangs used to fight for her. She was good at her work.

Megan told me that she and her boyfriend are planning their marriage which will happen next year June 26. Today is just September. They got plenty of time in their hands.

I loved Megan's boyfriend. He was tall, handsome, cute and such a sweetheart. He had dimples and a smile to die for. Honestly I also had a crush on him for a short period of time before Meg and he started dating.

Grandma Hailey was like my grandma. She was such a beautiful and respectful woman. Her husband used to love ice cream and they met while Grandma Hailey was eating an ice cream. It was love at first sight for him. Ughhh, so cute. Her husband was in army. Thus died during a war. Grandma Hailey loves him so much and in his memorial she open "Hailey's". She has a son who is actually Megan's boyfriend and a successful man.

Grandma Hails loves Megan. She is such an loving lady. She treated me and Meg like her own child. She knew I was leaving and for what reasons. She was heartbroken when I left. It took a part of me to leave her. I guess London really took half of my heart.

I was planning on suprising Grandma H. I hid behind the counter and waited for her to come. When she came I asked,"Welcome to Hailey's, feeling sad, happy, angry, disgusted well ice cream is the solution. What would you like to have?"

When we were struggling to write a welcome slogan. I jokingly came up with this and it stuck with us. People liked it and always smiled when we said it.

She immediately realised my voice and came to hug me tightly. I missed her warm hugs. They always made me happy.

We got me a blueberry with chocolate chips. My favorite. Weird but tasty.

Grandma Hailey asked me to stay for dinner as her son was also coming. I loved Caleb, he was like a big protective brother. Caleb loves Grandma Hailey and Megan dearly. He was an exceptional person with personality worth billions.

It was hard but I convinced her that I'd come back for dinner because I'm sticking here for a while as an transfer student here. I got permission because of my straight A's and cheerleading status.

We decided our next stop will be Sam's bowling alley. It was a place all of our friends used to gather to hang out. Sam was a sweetheart. He was a kind soul. And his wife, Grace was wayyy too pretty. Sam was actually a engineer but his parents way back then ran the place and gave it to him when he was 20 as they were too old to handle it. Sam was not too old. He had a son named Lucas who should be 9 or 10 years old. Lucas was a sweetheart too. Mannerful and polite.

We reached Sam's bowling alley. I got inside nostalgia hit me like a truck. The place is still as it was.

Sam was busy doing something. I asked for a pair of shoes. He then asked my name to enter it. I knew he didn't recognize me as he wasn't looking. I smiled and said,"Ashley Cooper". That got his attention.

"Oh my God is that you kiddo, you sure have grown".

"I sure did. Now Sam how's Grace and Lucas?"

"Lucas and Grace missed your annoying ass. You used to come here whenever you were bored. They loved you, still do and Grace is pregnant with a beautiful baby"

"Damn, Sam where is she??"

"She should be at home but that damn woman doesn't listen to me and comes to give me lunch. So she should be here soon. Till then go beat your friend". Sam handed me shoes of my size and left.

I truly beated Eve's ass. I was damn good at bowling. We were about to leave to go to "The Den". Then Grace came inside and we chatted for an hour or so.

Now finally we started leaving to go to "The Den". This time I slept and Maria drived.

Maria woke me up by playing the radio to the max. I am so mad at her.

The Den is basically a place that was meant to be mine and Maria's hideout. It is filled with comfortable mattresses and cushions with a big TV with two big cupboards filled with movies.

When we were little kids. We used to have sleepovers here and talk all night about what happened in Little Pony. Now we talk about what happened in fairy tail (A/N fairy tail is an anime which I love so I had to put it in) and when the new season is coming. Because honestly both me and Maria are anime freaks. We love anime.

Yes, it sounds magical. It is magical.

We sat there watching a romantic comedy.

I looked at the couple kissing each other. I remembered mine and Aiden's first kiss. I started feeling down and sad. I remembered the first conversation we had and suddenly a tear well.

Maria looked at me expectantly. Wishing for me to speak something at least

Eve broke the silence,"Okay babe, we didn't come here to be sad and depressed. So get up we are going to a carnival. It's in the outskirts of town but that place is pretty safe. So get up I know how much you love carnivals".

The drive to the carnival was filled with me missing Aiden while driving and her sleeping.

The carnival is huge and beautiful. The first thing I saw was the Ferris wheel and screamed whoever reached first to the Ferris wheel gets a free cotton candy. With that I started running with Eve getting annoyed with my overly energetic self.

I was laughing hysterically at Maria's sore loser face.

I was about to say something to annoy Maria more but I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and my jaw hit the floor.
