Ash's POV

We reached hospital, everyone was restless, Charlie was like our personal Charlie Chaplin, we basically adore her and her jokes. But Vicky was more restless than any of us. I don't know him well so can't say why he's so restless.

It was now me and Vicky alone. The awkward silence was unbearable. Tyler went to get the medicines along with Nat because he didn't want to leave Nat alone when she's so broken. She's blaming herself for everything. Total bullshit if you ask me, it's nobody's fault except the person who did this to our precious Charlie. Aiden went to nearby cafe to buy us all some food. So it was me and Vicky alone.

He had shoved his face in his hands. Sobbing quietly. I sat closer to him and side hugged him, cooing him and telling him it's ok, everything will be fine.

After some time, I looked in his eyes and dayum he looked like a lost puppy. I was curious about his relationship with Charlie, because it looked something deeper than just friendship.

"What is your relationship with Charlie", I asked looking at him straight in the eyes making sure he knows I'm serious. He looked at me for a moment shocked then looked down in and smiled. It was a sad smile though.

"I love Charlie, and have been since we were kids. She lived in the house beside mine and the first day I saw her she was crying saying how she didn't want to come here and leave her friends in Rosevile. For an eleven year old boy, it was weird to see the girl who he once lost. Charlie doesn't know but I used to live in Rosevile, it's my hometown. We were best friends back then. She was my first love and still is. I love her with all my heart but never mustered courage to tell her. I love the sappy  Charlie, I love the crybaby Charlie. I love her with her mood swings and need for chocolate at wrong time. I love her with all my heart". I was crying, I didn't realise but tears were falling down my face. This is the most amazing thing I've ever heard.

"Why don't you go and tell her that, she'll be very happy and I know you love her dearly", I said with my voice coming out muffled.

She was in coma, the attack had hurt her head very badly. I was scared for her, for her, everything but I knew she'd love to listen to him saying the things he told me.

Aiden came the hour after our conversation. I felt closer to Vicky. He was like my second brother, an annoying one too.

The whole day went with us praying for Charlie and cheering up Nat and having stupid talks with Vicky. It was amazing.

At the end of the day, Aiden and Vicky dropped me home.

Vicky suddenly came out of Aiden's car and kissed my cheek. I was startled. Not knowing what to say, how to react. It was just a peck on the cheek but I was curious as to why. Why suddenly.

Vicky spoke answering all my questions,"Just act normal. You listened to me and helped muster courage to tell my feeling for Charlie to her. So consider this my return gift".

Just when the sentence ended, Aiden came out slamming the door shut. Eyes dark and fuming with anger. Okay Vicky how is this a return gift. I thought, glaring Vicky.

Aiden was glaring Vicky too. He took my hand and took me inside the house and slammed me to the wall. I gasped in shock at his action.

He pinned me to the wall. And looked at me intensely not uttering a single word. Holding my hands above my head tightly, hurting my wrist.

"Aiden, you're hurting my wrist, leave my hands" I said in a soft voice trying to calm him down but it didn't work.

"You wouldn't mind being in this position with Vicky, would you", he spat

Ooooooh, I get it what Vicky meant. Omfg, I love him, I laughed loudly at his jealousy.

"Yo- youu you're jealous" I said laughing, my words coming out muffled. I was laughing hysterically.

He looked mad, angry to the core. His eyes shinning with rage. Fuming with anger. I was scared. The laughter died.

He finally spoke ending the awkward silence,"You think this is funny, baby, this is anything but funny, you better explain to me why he pecked your cheek. Is he your boyfriend? Because if he is then break up. I don't want you with another guy. You are made for me. Not anyone else. Your my dream, desire,lust and many other emotions. Ashley Juniper Cooper, you are mine. Only mine"

The amount of intensity, lust, love his eyes held send a shiver down my spine. I was speechless. I decided to stop acting childish and answered his questions.

"Aiden, honey, I'm not dating him. He is like a brother to me and he just wanted to piss you off. And baby do you really feel that for me? I'm not special enough for you, you can find someone way better than me. I'm messed up. You don't know my past. You won't like me after knowing my past. You'll hate me. And I don't want to hurt you either".

"Baby, who ever said I like you, I don't like you". Aiden said with mischief in his eyes. I got sad my heart was broken into million pieces. He doesn't like me. I don't know when but I felt a tears run down my cheeks.

"Shit, baby girl, this is don't cry, I don't mean I don't like you, I love you. I don't care about your past. I love you, honey deeply and you don't have to say it back. I don't expect it". He said wiping my tears and kissing my forehead.

"Yo- you love me?" I asked not believing my ears. It was unbelievable.

He nodded his head. Happiness burst inside me. I kissed him. I wanted to pull away but he pulled me closer to deepen the kiss. He tasted like cherries, mint and chocolate. I love the way he tastes. The kiss was simple and sweet in the start and got rough and lustful in the end. We pulled away to breathe. Both panting heavily.

We said wow simultaneously. And laughed about weird things.

I looked in his eyes and finally said it, "I love you too".

"Babe, if you don't want round two of what just happened then stop saying things like that"

I laughed at his sentence. I wouldn't mind round two but I was tired and had an friend in hospital and this is no time for romance but it just happened.

"Hey, by the way, what do you mean by, you have a dangerous past, what is it?" He asked with curiosity lacing his eyes.

"Honey, I'll tell you when Charlie wakes up. I'll tell everyone together. Then you can choose whether you accept me or not, I wouldn't be shocked if don't accept me"

"I will always accept you" he said with that my eyes gave in and I fell asleep.
