I saw myself again in that place, so this must mean that my Admiral wish to talk to me again.

Louis de Gaulle : Well, I have 2 things to tell you. Want to listen to the good one or the bad one first ?

Charles : Let's do the bad one first.

Louis de Gaulle : Straight to the point, I see. Well, the bad thing is that I feel a dark energy beneath Sakura Empire. They might hide something  from everyone, and I would like you to investigate further upon that.

Charles : Do you think the dark energy is from the Sirens ?

Louis de Gaulle : Most likely. You need to know what it is, so you could counter it in the future.

Charles : Très bien. And what is the good one ?

Louis de Gaulle : There is a treasure lurking around that want to be found by you, which contains upgrades for you. And, no it's not in the Sakura Empire. Actually, it is somewhere near the borders between Iris Orthodoxy and the Sardegnia Empire.

Charles : Some kind of retrofit ?

Louis de Gaulle : More like improvements for you to become even stronger to help protect humanity.

Charles : I shall find it later. I still have to meet the Sakura Empire.

Louis de Gaulle : What a good timing. You're waking up right now.

I started to wake up but I felt something on my arm. As I looked, I saw a woman with dog ears, and she was looking at me with lust.

Charles : ...*creates a LMG and load it with religious intent* You have sinned. But don't worry, I can purge you, heretic. REPENT FOR YOUR BLASPHEMY !!! DEUS VULT !!!

I was waiting for that Lady Nagato to show up. I was in that room for 15 minutes now, at least Jean Bart was here, so I could talk to her.

Jean Bart : Did you sleep well ?

Charles : Yeah, until I woke up.

Jean Bart : *raises eyebrow* Why ?

Charles : Almost died to one of Atago's hug.

Jean Bart : *shivers*

Charles : Good thing Takao came to stop her.

Jean Bart : You don't say. I'll never know how people can survive that.

Charles : Me neither.

We heard the door open to see 8 girls entering the room, 2 of them were Takao and Atago.

???3 : Hello, Jean Bart, and I take it you are Charles ?

Charles : Yes, you're right. And I presume you're Nagato ?

Nagato : Indeed. I am Nagato, 1st battleship of the Nagato-class. Next to me is my sister, Mutsu, 2nd battleship of the Nagato-class.

Mutsu : Hello ! Nice to meet you !

Nagato : With me, are the 1st Division Aircraft Carrier, Akagi and Kaga.

Akagi : Hello, Charles. I must say you truly interest me. How about we know each other better~?

Charles : *mind* I have yandere vibes from her. Good thing the I took that stage in the FBI to learn how to deal with them.

Kaga : Sister, please take this seriously. But anyway, I am Kaga, and this is my sister Akagi. Nice to meet you.

Charles : An honor to meet you.

Nagato : With them, is also present the 5th Division Aircraft Carrier : Shoukaku and Zuikaku.

Shoukaku : A pleasure to meet you. I am Shoukaku, and here is my sister, Zuikaku.

Charles : As you know, my name is Charles , but I am known has MNF Charles de Gaulle, a nuclear Aircraft Carrier from Iris Orthodoxy from the future, because here, the faction has been split in two.

Mutsu : What is a nuclear Aircraft Carrier ? Does this mean you came from the same place as Godzilla ?

Everyone sweetdropped at that.

Charles : No, I am not a mutant lizard. And a nuclear Aircraft Carrier is a stronger version of the classical one which does not need oil to function, but instead a nuclear reactor. I can travel everywhere without limit for 20-25 years before I need to refill it up.

Akagi : Oh my~ I want you. *gets her head bonked by Kaga*

Kaga : Sister, please stop it. You're making everyone uncomfortable.

Takao : Are you really powerful ?

Charles : How powerful do you need to be to destroy a large Siren Fleet with Purifier leading it while winning unscathed ?

Shoukaku : That's not possible !

Jean Bart : It is ! I saw him destroying the Siren Fleet like it was nothing. And only used 3 planes to destroy it out of the 50 he has. He also gave cannons and missiles that he used to damage Purifier.

Charles : I could have killed her if she didn't blinded me with white light to cover her escape.

Akagi and Kaga widen their eyes at that information before having a serious face. This feels suspicious to me, looks like they're hiding something. Maybe they have a link with the Siren energy beneath the base. I shall see that later.

Zuikaku : Is he stronger than Grey Ghost ?

Jean Bart : Your "Grey Ghost" is a joke compared to his power. And he was holding back in that fight against that Siren Fleet.

Charles : Fight is a big word. I would call it more a "one-sided annihilation" in my point of view. And I don't have only planes, but also missiles and cannons to counter every type of ships. Not even submarines are safe from me. And apparently, my power is enough to destroy one of the main faction, but that's not something I would do.

3rd P.O.V

Everyone from the Sakura Empire had one thought.

Sakura Empire : *mind* We shall not piss him off. Ever.

Nagato : Have you met Azur Lane ?

Charles : Yeah, I went there with Richelieu. They pretty much asked the same questions. For Ironblood, it was more complicated because of the lack of time.

Akagi : It was a shame they couldn't stay longer here. We could have that meeting with them if they could stay longer.

Takao : Do you know which side will you choose ?

Charles : Not sure. I'm still debating on that.

Mutsu : If you want, you could walk around to help you think about that.

Charles : I'll take that offer.

Nagato : Well, that shall be all. You are dismissed.

Alley in the Sakura Empire, 2:04 P.M

Charles P.O.V

I was walking in the streets of the Sakura Empire, thinking about the decision I have to make. Jean Bart was with me. We just got out of a restaurant where we ate sushis. They were really good. And now, here we are, walking around to explore more the place.

Charles : By the way, where are Vauquelin and Tartu ?

Jean Bart : They stayed at the port because they didn't want to come with us at the meeting. They must be in the hot springs right now.

Meanwhile in the hot springs :

Vauquelin : I am the big sister, right ?

Tartu : Yes.

Vauquelin : So they must be bigger than yours, right ?

Tartu : Yeah ?

Vauquelin : So, why are yours bigger than mine ?!?!

Tartu : I don't know, lol.

Back to Charles :

We were near a shrine. I was walking on a path on the coast until I felt a dark energy around. And it was stronger the more I approached that suspicious-looking cave.

Jean Bart : Hey ! Is there something wrong ?

Charles : Yeah, I feel some negative energy coming from this cave. And my instinct tell me to go see what is happening.

Jean Bart : Are you really going inside ?

Charles : I will, whether you come with me or not.

Jean Bart : *sighs* I have no choice since I have to supervise you.

Charles : Let's go then.

We entered the cave. After some minutes, we see some light. What we saw there shocked both Jean Bart and I, but on my side, it quickly became anger as I saw Akagi and Kaga talking to Observer Alpha. I calmed myself down to make sure we don't get spotted and listen to what they say.

Observer Alpha : Do you have the Cube ?

Akagi : Here it is. Will this make Amagi's resurrection possible ?

Observer Alpha : Of course. You will very soon see your sister again.

Akagi : Good. Are there still things to do ?

Observer Alpha : Yes, we still need more data. I can assume you and Ironblood will procure it.

Akagi : Of course. Let's go Kaga.

Kaga : Very well, sister.

That was our cue to leave now and we did. As we left the cave, my anger came back. I can't believe Crimson Axis was working with the Sirens. However, Jean Bart seemed shocked by that.

Charles : I assumed you didn't know about that either, right ?

Jean Bart : I thought they were only using Siren technology to destroy the Sirens. But to see Akagi work with them, the hell is wrong with them ?

Charles : They want to resurrect Amagi, but knowing the Sirens, they will use her to destroy humanity. The dark energy coming from that Black Cube is the proof. *sighs*

Jean Bart : You're okay ?

Charles : No, it reminds of my brother Clémeanceau.

Jean Bart : You have a brother ?

Charles : I had. He was scrapped 10 years ago. But I won't try to resurrect him. If he was here, he would have said to me to move on, no matter what.*sad smile* I know you and your sister are enemies but, at least you still have someone you can call family.

Jean Bart : *approaches (Y/N) before hugging him* Shhh, it's okay. You're not alone, you have me as well as the other members of Vichiya Dominion and even Iris Libre.

Charles : Thanks. *starts crying*

Jean Bart : While you are strong, know that there's no shame of crying. Do it if it helps you.

Charles : *cries*

(10 minutes later)

Charles : Thanks... for let me cry... and sorry for your clothes...

Jean Bart : Your well-being is more important, so don't worry. But what shall we do now ?

Charles : *serious voice* Call back Tartu and Vauquelin. We're leaving now. We can't stay here, especially because of what we seen.

Jean Bart : I'll go get them. See you in the harbour.

I was in front of our ships. I can see Jean Bart coming back with Tartu and Vauquelin, but Nagato and the other girls that was with me in the meeting minus Akagi. I started to glare at them.

Nagato: Are you already leaving ? What is the matter ?

Charles : ... *start walking to Kaga with a glare*

Takao : What are you doing ? *put her hand on her katana*

As I got to Kaga, I slapped her on the face so hard she fall on the ground.

Nagato : WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS ?!?!

Charles : IS IT TRUE KAGA ?!?! IS IT TRUE YOU AND AKAGI ARE WORKING WITH THE SIRENS ?!?!

3rd P.O.V

Everyone had their eyes widens at what Charles said.

Kaga : ...Yes...

All the girls gasped at the revelation.

Charles : WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ?!?! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KILL THEM, NOT JOIN THEM !!!

Kaga : ...They can resurrect Amagi...

Charles : DO YOU THINK SHE WILL BE HAPPY TO LEARN THAT ?!?! THE SIRENS WILL MOST LIKELY USE HER AS THEIR WEAPON !!!

Kaga : ...

Charles : I've seen and heard enough. Jean Bart, Vauquelin and Tartu, we're leaving now !

They went to their respective ships, and so did I until I get interrupted.

Nagato : Wait, we can talk-

Charles : *turns to her with a glare* Do I look like I want to talk ?

Nagato : ...

Charles : That's what I thought.

Atago : *runs at Charles to try to hug him* Wait !

Charles : No means NO !!! *let out his authoritative aura.

The girls were shocked by the amount of aura emanating from him, to the point they were on their knees, having difficulty to breathe.

Charles : Next time I see you, I won't hold back. You better remember that if you give value to your life. *calm his aura*

Charles launched a flashbang after that to give him and the others time to leave.

On the way to Toulon, 7:47 P.M

On the way to Toulon, Jean Bart asked to come on Charles's ship to talk about what to do, while Tartu and Vauquelin looked around to see if there are any enemies.

Charles : Do you know what you will do after that discovery ?

Jean Bart : I don't know to be honest. I think I will think about my next course of actions for my faction.

Charles : Take your time. And call me when you made your choice or if something happens.

Jean Bart : And what about you ? Will you destroy the Sakura Empire ?

Charles : One thing for sure, I will not join Crimson Axis, but that was obvious. For the Sakura Empire, if they continue to follow this path, then I have no choice but to destroy it.

Jean Bart : *nods*

Charles : However, I'm not joining Azur Lane either.

Jean Bart : Wait, what ? Why ?

Charles : Although the Eagle Union seems good persons, I cannot trust the Royal Navy. My instinct feels that they're doing something suspicious towards Iris Libre.

Jean Bart : What is it ?

Charles : That's what I want to find out, but most likely something not good for Iris Libre. Also, I won't come back to the base yet.

Jean Bart : And why ? *raises eyebrow*

Charles : Do you remember my Admiral ? *she nods* Well, I met him in my dreamscape last night and he talked to me, and wanted to find a treasure that could be used to improve myself and my job better. However, it is near the borders you share with the Sardegnia Empire.

Jean Bart : Will you come back after that ?

Charles : Yeah, I will come back to Toulon. And I already told Richelieu this, so she knows what I am doing right now. It's time to split, au revoir. And don't forget you can contact me if needed.

Jean Bart : Au revoir. And you better come back, or I will come to you to kick your ass.

Charles : *smirks* Very well.

In the meeting room, Nagato had called Akagi and Kaga because of their dark secret.

Nagato : Why did you make a deal with the Sirens ?

Akagi : They promised us they could resurrect her if we build them Project Orochi !

Nagato : I know that you miss Amagi, all of us miss Amagi. But really, going as low as to work with the Sirens to resurrect her is unacceptable.

Kaga : But she-

Nagato : If she was here, she would be quite angry for what you've done. This is why I will take the decision to stop Project Orochi.

Akagi : YOU CAN'T DO THAT !!!

Nagato : I just did. And there's nothing you can do about it. What you've done is loosing a very powerful ally, stronger than the Grey Ghost herself. And now, he will most likely join Azur Lane, reducing further our chance to win the war, if not destroying it.

Kaga : But-

Nagato : I. Have. Spoken. You are dismissed.

The 2 kitsunes left, seeing they cannot negotiate with her anymore.

Meanwhile in a dorm of the Sakura Empire.

Takao, Atago, Shoukaku ans Zuikaku were together, discussing about the events that transpired earlier.

Takao : I can't believe those two worked with the Sirens, and behind Lady Nagato's back at that.

Shoukaku : No wonder Charles was mad.

Atago : *crying* Why did you leave, Charles ?

Takao felt bad for her sister and decided to hug her, while Atago cried in her shoulder.

Zuikaku : Do you think they will continue that project behind our back ?

Takao : Sadly, that's a possibility. We have to tell Lady Nagato to spy on them, Who knows what they will do after that.

Shoukaku : Yeah, and if they continue, we will knock back some sense in them, and if it's not enough, slap them just like Charles did. But my senpai deserves it, so ayyy lmao.

Zuikaku/Takao : -_-

Zuikaku : And I am supposed to be the little sister. *sighs*

Takao : As much as we want to continue, we need to go to sleep. I have to bring Atago back to her dorm. Good night.

Shoukaku/Zuikaku : Good night.
