Acnologia the great dragon is immortal. He won't die of old age. Neither would his mate Luna. Since their child's death, Acnologia hasn't moved from the hill. He has waited all this time for Zeref to bring back his son. Luna left to take care of the dragons, but came back quite often to check and see if he was back. Today the sun was blocked by clouds. 82 years ago today, his son died. 82 years later today his son was supposed to be back.

He looked over the side of the hill. A man with black hair and a white sash appeared carrying something bundled in white silk. "Zeref!" The dragon roared. The man looked up. His face was a neutral expression. Did it not work? Zeref approached Acnologia carefully setting down and unwrapping the bundle. There he was. The small once lifeless boy. He flickered his eyes open slightly, just like before. "Dad? Big Brother?" He looked around a little sleepily.

Acnologia transformed back and hugged his son. "Dad I can't breathe!" Acnologia chuckled a single tear fell from his eye. "Father," Zeref said. Acnologia looked up at him his gaze becoming serious when he saw the look in Zeref's eyes. "I'm sorry, but I must go. While he is back. It wasn't without sacrifice." A long silence overtook the trio. Acnologia nodded "Thank you Zeref, for bringing him back to me." Zeref nodded. "My pleasure. It's nice to see him alive and well again."

With that the mage Zeref left. He didn't speak another word to either of them. He wouldn't for a long time. Natsu grew up with a normal childhood for a dragon of his status. He met the mage Guildarts Clive one day. They became good friends. Even Acnologia liked him. Well until he mistook him for a dragon god and tried to kill him. Then everything got worse from there. Acnologia was already on edge from his previous betrayal of the crush magic mage.

Then it happened. The mage known as Anna Heartfilia, one of the Heartfilia's. The family known for possessing the other dragon killer sword. The same sword that killed Natsu. Natsu barely had any memory of his death until his mother's murder. Then his WHOLE life flashed before his eyes. As he drowned in sorrow. The thing is about dragons is that they normally heal quickly. Thats normal for them.

However, a slash from a dragon killer blade like the Heartfilia one will leave damage that is not easily healed. The dragon killers and the dragon slayers are different though. With Dragonslayers, the magic is a part of them and will be for a while. However, The Dragon Killers are given one of the two special armors that were crafted long ago to kill and defend against dragons. The light armor was passed on to the Heartfilia family, while the dark armor was passed on to the Estra family which later became one with the Dragneel family.

Natsu had died at the hands of a dragon killer blade. The Heartfilia blade. His mother, Luna, died by the same blade. Zeref was nowhere to be found and by the time the fighting was over, her soul was long gone. The funeral was on a cloudy foggy day at the city of her death. The dragon worshipping humans had made a statue of her in her dragon form and she was buried there. It was a sad day and Acnologia last day of any mercy towards man-kind.

That day and beyond, Natsu had inherited his father's hate for man kind. He would to whatever it took to avenge his mother. Even if it meant slaughtering innocent people to get what they needed. They killed Anna eventually, but the blade was passed on to Layla and then to her daughter, Lucy. Natsu killed Anna and Layla, but at the age of 12 he went to kill Lucy as well. He had everything planned out, but when he went to kill her, he couldn't.

She was reading a book in a corner of her room and peacefully humming to herself. Natsu used his magic to make the lights go out so that the only light was from the window where he was standing with a knife. Instead of being scared for her life which was about to end. She was fascinated. Natsu was taken aback by her words "A Dragon! Woah so cool! I've never seen one before! You are so amazing!" Instead of killing her that night, he ended up falling for her, but it wasn't meant to be. For years he kept that feeling pent up inside. The only thing he let wander in his mind was her sweet sent. It drove him crazy. He craved it for years and never got it. Yet it faded quickly enough.

The hatred of man was stronger then any of his emotions. So much so that he lost them and they were gone for a while. Till years later after the incident. He saw her again. The princess who he fell in love with. Only, he no longer felt that way. He no longer felt anything. Until his father's curse was broken by the one who he was meant to kill.

Flashback over

The guild all looked at me in shock. I didn't really expect anything else. I couldn't blame them. I knew there would be more questions, but I seemed to have shocked them stiff. In any other situation I would have laughed at the faces they had right now, but this wasn't one of those times. I waited in silence. Stuck in my own paranoid thoughts. Till someone spoke up.

"It doesn't matter what happened in the past," I looked and saw Mira make her way through the crowd, eyes locked on me. "What matters is how you live your future and the choices you make going forward." There was silence again, but not a awkward silence, a comfortable silence. I smiled. 'Thank you' I mouthed to her without saying aloud. She nodded and smiled back.

"You shouldn't bring yourself down so much Natsu san!" I looked down to my right and saw the dark blue haired girl, Wendy, beside me. She was smiling up at me trying to make me feel better. The white cat Carla walked over to stand beside her. "Wendy is right, you shouldn't beat yourself up too much about it. There's nothing you can do about it now."

They continued to give positive comments and support. It's so wonderful. It made me feel a lot better about myself. My, real self. "You should know that we wouldn't be alive without you flame brain." I heard Gray's voice and felt a hand on my right shoulder. I looked up at him. I'm a little confused, I thought he hated me.

"Intentional or not, you've helped us so much more then we deserve for how we've treated you." I looked back beside me. Luce. She has her gaze locked on the ground, a small smile on her face. "You've been there for us regardless if you wanted to or not, but either way we are all grateful." Luce looked up at me. Her brown eyes piercing into what was left of my soul and making me melt inside. I felt my heart skip a few beats as the sent I have waited so longer for, entered my nose. Just by looking at her. Just by her being her, she makes me so content with my life.

I watched as she grabbed my hand, held it to her chest, and squeezed it gently. "When will you understand that you are part of a guild and a guild is a family. Sure you might have your own, but this your real one. This is where you belong." She's Not wrong. I was always pulled towards humans, even from a young age. "Thank you guys." Everyone gave me smiles. Grins, wide ones, small ones, sweet ones, silly ones. All different ones that all convey the same message.

Time skip

Third POV

"I truly didn't think that I would ever have to do this." The large black dragon sat down and tucked his tail around his legs. His muscular scaly features practically glowed in the moonlit night. His blue markings showed incredibly well, almost becoming neon when the moonlight hit it and reflected. His heady white eyes flickered over the landscape. Obviously searching for something.

The cliff had the best view. Not only did it show everything for miles because the view was almost always clear, but the mirror stones scattered around the ledge were allowing him to see behind him without turning around. It was the idea spot for a lookout. However, he was no lookout, but he loved it up here. Things travel very good as well.

"Sir i have found her." The dragon Heard- from behind him. For this he turned around to two dragons standing behind him. A completely black shadow dragon with red eyes. "So you did, well done Zero." Zero bowed his head. "Should we get this over with Acnologia?" The second dragon spoke. Acnologia turned his gazed over to the second dragon. She's a cream color looking a lot like the sky dragon Grandeeney who betrayed him years ago. She had blue swirl marks all over her body and a white underbelly and two long tendrils extended from her head on each side. They looked like flowing water and were blue in color.

Acnologia smiled "Welcome Sirena." He bowed his head slightly to show respect. "Nice to see you too my king" she bowed her head back acknowledging the greeting. "So you have called on me. What is it you need?" She asked in a calm tone trying to hide her curiosity why the king of dragons would summon her. "It's about my boy. Natsu. He has been taken by humans and they've deceived him." He paused. It's not really a good idea to do this, but if it will get Natsu home then okay. "Call him home with your song. You are a Siren after all."

Sirena looked surprised. "You know that it could damage him mentally right?" She asked. Yes he knew all to well, but it didn't stop him. Natsu is strong mentally so he'll be fine. "Yes but he needs to come home and soon. His season will estart and he might have issues and then he will be wild and insane without the healers treatment."

Sirena didn't seem to well into the idea, but she sighed and nodded her head. Acnologia smiled. Sirena walked up to the edge of the cliff. Her long tail swished behind her. Acnologia watched as the clouds parted and the moonlight shinned down onto her scales. Her tendrils started to glow a bright almost neon blue. Her eyes became red in color. "Lala la la" she started. Her voice echoing over the hills. It was specifically for Natsu but the sound made all dragons in awe.

The song she sung echoed over the hills, through the trees, and past the long river, all the way to town. All the way to the guild of Fairy Tail. Acnologia watched as she sang. He never was caught up in her songs. He learned his ways around them. He went back to his human form and plugged his ears (he has both arms). He smiled as her sweet tune even had Zero captivated. "I'll see you soon Natsu."
