Cafe Mama's, 3 PM

The tall male was working on his laptop, occasionally sipping on the coffee he ordered. He was waiting for someone as he had to have a unofficial meeting with the person. Soon enough the bell chimes and a chunky female figure walks in looking around.

Upon seeing the familiar but unfamiliar face she walks towards the person who was too submerged in his work and stands infront of the table he sat at. "Excuse me!" The girl says softly making the guy to finally take his eyes off the bright screen and look at the person who summoned his attention.

Seeing the chunky girl a smile breaks onto his lips remembering the girl from airport, the girl smiles back as she remembers too. "oh Ms.Airport you're from Seoul?" The male asks gesturing her to take the seat infront, she smiles and takes her seat realising he the person she had to meet considering everyone else there were students.

"Yeah,I didn't knew you'll be the person I had to meet" the girl says chuckling which makes the male to furrow his brows in confusion, "Pardon?" The man says making the girl to chuckle again, "Don't tell me my sister didn't show you how I look" she says to which MinHo widens his eyes in realisation.

"Wait, you're JiEun's cousin sister?" MinHo asks still not believing such coincidence. "Yes, I am JiEun's sister" she replies getting a little comfortable seeing the friendly man. "Such a small world" he mumbles but she hears him, "it really is" she says before looking around when he smiles again. "What do you wanna have?" He asks to which she jerks her head to him.

"Oh um a cappuccino please" she says to which he nods and walks away to order while she rethinks about how her sister mentioned that the Stanger seemed familiar, no wonder he seemed familiar, they work at the same place. She takes her phone out and texts with JiEun about why she didn't tell her about the male being the same guy from airport. Both the sister bicker for sometime in the meantime MinHo gets back with the cappuccino, an americano and two slices of red velvet pastry.

"You didn't have to get any snacks for me" the girl says looking at the two pieces of pastries, "Comeon, I'm just being a gentleman" he says and smiles melting the girl's heart. "Since we are here to talk about work, let's do that first" he says to which she nods after sipping on her cappuccino. "I guess JiEun might've already explained you about our situation, and to be honest we desperately need someone who will bring success with this project, there is this most important deal which Mrs.Bai was handling but since she took the leave now the situation got messed up and our boss isn't happy with it "

"We do have people who are worthy to be promoted but we are not sure if they'll work hard for the project. And after having a look at the project you did in your final year, I can say, I can blindly rely on you" MinHo completes his words and Waits for the girl infront of him to talk. "I don't have any objections to work with how, however...."

She takes a deep breath and looks straight into his eyes, "I can't be a permanent employee at your company, Wang Techs have already hired me and I do have something else to take care of so I can't work for you guys more. I'll be a substitute untill Ms.Bai gets back" Y/N clearly states her thoughts.

"That'll work too, I will arrange the documents by Tomorrow, you can come to work from tomorrow also you will be introduced as an employee who is asked to go here upon my request, which means you will introduced as Kim company's employee who used to work at another branch bit got here on our request"

Hearing his words she nods slowly finding his thoughts reasonable. She didn't want people to say that she snatched what's their. Out of the blue MinHo chuckles making the girl to look at him with confusion, "you're a baby aren't you? You got a little something on your lips" he says passing few tissues to which she widens her eyes and takes the tissues before wiping the foam on her upper lip.

Old habits are hard to quit, she's been used to do the thing and now it's getting hard to quit. MinHo didn't feel mad infact he found that cute and adorable.

"So we have the deal, it's about 9 more months and then you can do whatever you want but you must keep the confidentiality" MinHo warns making her to nod, "Yes I will" she says and smiles. "Great then, apart from that would you mind if we be friends outside the work, you seem like a really good person" he asks to which she chuckles but nods, "Ofcourse we can" she says and smiles cutely at him and they both continue to finish their snacks and have some chat.

At Home, 6PM

Y/N was dancing around while vaccuming the rooms with headphones plugged into her ears and music blasting through them. Humming to the lyrics of 'Taki Taki' she moves along minding the both pets who were peacefully annoying eachother.

A few minutes later she finally finishes vaccuming the last room and puts the machine away before making her way to her room. Walking into the bathroom she strips off her casuals and dumps them in laundry bin before getting into the shower cubicle and turning on the shower. Goosebumps form across her skin as the cool water trickles her skin. Taking a quick shower she walks out and puts on a robe after wiping her wet body.

Walking into her closet she grabs a pair of PJ's and gets changed into them and walks towards her room. Grabbing her phone charger and mobile she walks out towards the living-room. Putting her phone on charge she turns on the TV and opens Netflix. Choosing the movie Hotel Transylvania, she walks towards kitchen to set her snacks up. Grabbing two bags of chips and few cans of cola she goes back to living-room and gets cozied on the couch.

The two pets join her and get cuddled up while the lady enjoys her movie.  An hour into the movie the maindoor opens and walks in JiEun with same old tired face. Seeing the adorable view of her sister cuddled up with the pets a smile breaks on to her face and she silently walks to her room after giving a glance at the TV

Soon enough JiEun gets freshened and changed then joins the cuddle gang on the couch. Mocha goes to cuddle JiEun as Chat was already asleep he didn't move from Y/N's lap. "So how was the meeting?" JiEun asks grabbing the bag of chips and ripping it open. "It was good, Mr.Choi was actually friendly, and it went smooth, I talked about how I can't work there forever as I already got job at Wang Techs and...." Y/N was rambling but she gets cut off.

"Woah woah wait, when did you get a job at Wang Techs?" JiEun asks excited, "Today, Mr.Wang told me that the interview was just a formality cause he wanted to hire me the moment he saw my resume and reviewed my project which I made as a student so he was impressed and yeah that's how I got it" she finishes with a proud smile. "Aygooo my baby, I'm so happy for you, but then why did you say yes to MinHo?" She asks with furrowed bows.

"One, you told me about how the situation is , second, I would love to have you around in my working area" she says while JiEun nods, "so you'll be working at my company for 9 months then go to Wang Techs" JiEun says making the younger to nod, "Yes, although the situation at Wang Techs is almost the same, I couldn't refuse you" she says with a pout.

"Awee my baby bean" the older says pulling the you her into a hug making both the pets to get irritated leading then to bark and meow at the same time. Smiling goofily they both back away. "There's this thing, I'm gonna be introduced as an employee from another branch" Y/N says, "Oh yeah, the employees at our branch are quite jealous so they might make fuss if they know you're a new employee and get the highest position than them"

"Anyhow, Ahn HyeJin is gonna be a member of your team, she's got great potential, I'm sure no matter what others think she'll never judge you by your looks, so approach her if I'm not available as I'm in another department" JiEun says to which the you get nods. "I'm excited as well as nervous for what tomorrow has got me"

Japan

The tall handsome man was relaxing in his suite, sitting infront of the balcony that the suite provided in a robe, sipping wine and looking at the night view. He was a little calm and did things properly after getting information from MinHo that he found a suitable person for the job.

Taehyung picks his phone and dials his cousin's number and soon enough the older picks the call. They both converse for about half an hour all regarding the deal.
"That's a great idea hyung, but since she's new we can't always believe then again you told me she's worth the risk so I'm hoping everything goes fine"

"Trust me, everything will be fine. You just focus on your work there and have some fun with Nancy too"

The two bicker for some more time before Taehyung hangs the call. "Nancy....." He sighs out thinking of things with her. He tried, he tried to talk to her, take her out but.....he didn't felt that spark, that excitement to be with her, to spend time with her. Yes, he was still stuck in the past but he could only blame himself.

Sucking in a deep breath he decides something and nods his head. "Time to move on, even if it's forcefully, I'm sorry for making you my rebound Nancy" he mumbles to himself before walking in and getting under the sheets of his bed. "I need to do this" he says to himself before closing his eyes and slipping into dreamland.
