On our way back home everyone was silent. I ignored all the curious gazes which kept coming around from Dylan and Cole and only exchanged my gaze with Vess she understood what the situation was and diverted all the curious glances from me to anything else. I think it is the best thing about having a best friend in life where you can understand each other with just one look.

Cole also remained silent during the whole ride as he was in shock how could he receive a slap from a girl or maybe he didn't take it too seriously after all he's Cole in the end. When I noticed his cheek it looked a little bit swollen and still red At least something is still in its correct place.

Home is again that place where I can hide from everything and be the way I am where no one can judge me. I don't know if it is right of me to do this after all this time. So, I Can be a nobody but in these previous days, everything is changing. Isn't it curious that everything was going ok according to time when no one could notice me no one could taunt me then suddenly one boy appeared in my life like a tornado and everything started changing? If I think about it, it seems strange. I mean who is Cole? I didn't know who he really was. I don't know anything about him the only thing I know is his name is Cole he's a playboy and heir of Maxwell corporate that's it. It's not my mistake though he was a newcomer when this session started However, he can do whatever he wants I'm done with him. I just want to stay away from him and live my life peacefully that's it and if he has some sense in his brain he will get pretty much bored of me then he will find some other girl to irritate.

Though I knew that what I did was right by slapping him in somewhere my mind I thought what is he going to do? This time. The last time I kicked him he made me tutor him basically he did that so that he could torture me and this time I slapped him in his face with more power what would he do now?

If he has some sense in his brain maybe he"'ll not do anything and maintain distance from me. Yeah, maybe he will leave me alone. Then that will be ok for me. I'll be happy about it.
I sighed and went to sleep thinking that maybe the next day I could finally get rid of Cole and that would be the best thing for me. That's it Tomorrow is going to be the best day for me without any tension and I fell asleep.

Due to my alarm, I was late for school. I don't know what would have done if I hadn't reached school at the right time. I skipped breakfast and called a taxi, only by this, did I get to school at the correct time. I reached there at the correct time for the algebra class. Everyone is in a hurry and doesn't know why there is a crowd outside the notice board. Only God knows why the hell they all were gathered near the notice board. Somehow, I made my way to class through the crowd where everyone pushed me when I asked them to step aside and said some unusual words like always.

Finally, I reached to my class. I took a seat near the window which is away from everyone's eye and took out an algebra book along with my notebook. I started solving some questions on the linear equation topic when Ms Thompson arrived. She called our names for attendance and at last, she called Cole's name but he was nowhere to be seen. Well good for both of us then that we don't cross each other paths it is better for everything.

Soon, she started writing questions on the board and their method of how to apply them. I was busy writing down them when I felt something at my back .for first I ignored it as usual but It didn't stop.

Enough is enough time to take control of my hands. I thought and looked my both sides and down to see what it is. There were some paper balls. I grabbed one of them and unfolded it.

"So, you think you can stand with me? Watch out bitch you didn't have enough standards to be like me. You're going to regret this when you lose. "

And at the end of it, there is a very creepy picture of a girl oh by the way one arrow says it is me because there is my name written on it in bold letters like it had been scrabbled with pen many times.

I read it and glanced at both of my sides to watch that if anyone is watching me at the same time and bam! I found out who the hell person is writing all this shit and there is only one person who's watching me with a murderous look in her eyes and that person is one and only Veronica. I didn't notice Veronica in these previous days in this class or I mean I didn't notice her not at all. Last time I checked she warned me to stay away from that jerk like I'm doing all these things on purposely! I didn't understand one thing: there were many girls in his life or used to be in his life then why me? Why did she warn me it's not even that I'm a threat to her. Whatever it is in the past now what does she want? Cole and I hadn't crossed our paths for god sake after that incident then what is she talking about this time? That I can't stand with her and lose at the end? It's not about Cole this time then what it is? Why can't she understand that I don't want to be like her or want to be a competition for her is not that she has done something for our nation or our world and she's not also some Ms World or Ms Universe why she always thought that I want to be like her or why the hell anybody wants to be like her?.

Enough is enough I don't even what it is. And I'm not going to react she's nuts for sure and I'm not like her.

Ignore her and everything will be alright.

Yes! Ignorance is the best thing I can do for her. So, when class was over I didn't glance at her side not even for a second.

Half of the day is over and almost all the classes just one class is still left but before that, I"ve to eat something. So, my stomach does not make any growling voices and doesn't embarrass me in front of everyone. I made my way to the cafeteria to grab my lunch Vess was already waiting for me there. I just received her message on my cellphone.

When I entered the cafeteria whole cafeteria was watching me like they had seen some ghost. All the people were watching my every move like they didn't believe in their eyes what had they seen? But why? Are they reacting this way? Before, today no one even glanced at my side what is the matter now? Why are they all reacting like they don't believe I'm here?

Is there anything about your attire or is there anything on your face which people kept noticing?

Umm. Maybe. I quickly looked down to see if my clothes if everything is all right. Today I wore pants and a kitten T-shirt with black sneakers. Everything looks alright in fact I don't even have a stain on my clothes why the hell they are watching me like this? Like I'm an alien who is suddenly transferred to the planet Earth.

Do you care about them? Do you?

No. Definitely not.

Then why the hell are you standing like a pig here? Get a move on and ignore them all. It is as simple as that

Yes. It is very simple to not get affected by all these curious gazes. All I needed to do was go to the table where Vess was sitting. If only she was facing me then it would be simpler but her back is facing me and what it looks like from here she was engaged in a conversation with her cellphone.

Damn it. You didn't move from your place. Move! Now!

I headed in the direction where she was sitting and poked her shoulder to get her attention. When she finally noticed that I was there she gave me her what-the-hell look while I stared at her in confusion.

What is the deal with today why is everyone looking at me like this? And even my best friend giving me the same looks.?

"Why didn't you tell me? " she uttered. Her voice was rough, not clear but somehow I heard it.

"Tell you what? " I asked in confusion.

"I thought you shared everything with me! However I'm wrong," she exclaimed while crossing her arms.

"What are you talking? At least tell me I don't know anything that is happening today! Why everyone was watching me like I did something wrong? " I snapped.

What is wrong with everyone even my best friend is acting like this as I only have water in the fucking desert and I lied to all my companions about it.

"You don't know? Why everyone is watching you like an eagle's eye? "

"No. Obviously not. " I declared.

"Outside of the notice board there is a list of students who are participating in the student of the year competition. " she stopped in mid of the sentence when she saw confusion in my face.

"So, what about that stupid competition? I don't even understand why the hell that competition is held by our school. I mean it is stupid and ridiculous to judge someone's capability by a competition. " I said with so much annoyance.

"So, she really doesn't know about it," she whispered like she was talking to herself.

"Well. Now. Tell me. " I demanded.
I really want to know what is the matter of these things which occurred today.

Her voice cuts in mid-sentence when an announcement is made catching all the students attractions.

"Students who applied for the STUDENT OF THE YEAR competition may suggest being present at the principal office now and their names are ---- the last name is Amanda Parker. Do you hear all the students must be present in the principal office in less than ten minutes for the rest of the students we wish you a good day. "

What the hell just happened? Did my name just announced or am I dreaming?

No. Idiot your name announced.

But how? Why? When? And what the hell maybe it's not me definitely it is not me. Maybe there is some other girl's name who has the same name as mine. Yeah, they were talking about another girl It's not me definitely not. How can it be me? It is completely ridiculous to even think that way for me in this stupid competition. Yes, I needed to relax and take a deep breath maybe that's why all the people were reacting They must not know about the other girl who has the same name as mine that's why they were all staring at me they were all thinking that I'm the one who had given her name. Yeah. That's it.

There is no need to worry just relax. Just when I was ready to sit in one of the chairs another announcement was made.

"Amanda Parker daughter of Samantha Parker has 10 minutes to be presented at the principal room. "

Everyone's eyes snapped at me watching my every action. Woah! I never knew that I was that much popular. Why the hell they are even watching me why can't they understand that there is another girl whose name is exactly like my name and what a coincidence her mother's name also matches my mother? HAHAHA! Fate must be playing with me.

"Amanda Parker comes from the cafeteria to the principal room otherwise we will be neglecting your name. " the last announcement made.

Oh no no no that's not me. That can't be me but everyone is watching when Vess yelled.

"For God's sake. go, Amanda, they were calling you for half an hour. " then she pushed me.
