this whole chapter is about how i love lizzie and tommy together but i also VERY think thomas doesn't deserve her and she deserves someone better than him— but they somehow make sense

i KNOW grace was tommy's greatest love, i know that and i loved it. i don't hate grace and i think tommy was cute with her. . . she helped him feel peace in some ways and i liked it but. . .

WHY TOMMY DOESN'T DESERVE LIZZIE !!

lizzie is too good for him, TOO good and i hate it bc he's always a bitch to her,, for example:

season 1, she was about to get married to john and he ruined it FOR WHAT REASONS? then a man almost or did raped her because HE asked for her help when he told her it was over and she wouldn't do that kind of job anymore

season 2, i think he didn't do anything to her in season 2 THANK GOD

season 3, used her to get over grace? but i think she has that kind of place in his heart and he uses her to fill the void, as disgusting as it sounds. AND when he gave her that money. . . he was literally PAYING her for the sex and i hated it??? lizzie isn't a whore, and he had NO rights to do that.

season 4, gets her pregnant? doesn't want to see her anymore???????? like he agreed on having the baby

season 5, in that one he mentions how he still pays her in his head and the look on her face is killing me, like he's just straight up mean to her and it breaks my heart.

i just know that lizzie is a great mother and wife, she like has this aura around her and it radiates goodness. she's just an angel with broken wings. lizzie needs to be loved and i'm sure tommy loves her in his own twisted ways, but she doesn't deserve the way he treats her.

WHY I THINK THEY SOMEHOW MAKE SENSE !!

i think tommy always had a soft spot for her . . tommy always goes back to lizzie no matter what, like he literally tied her to him by giving her a job so she wouldn't leave, and he cares for her even tho he won't show it every time.

i see lizzie as tom's equal? she started from nothing, was in the same life class as him, and build her way to the top, just like he did. . . and she's loyal, hard working, would do everything for her children and him.

and and she doesn't want him to change, like grace or may did. she wants the better for him, and you can see in her eyes how much she loves him even tho he doesn't reciprocate on the same level.

lizzie gets tommy, she knows how to handle him most of the time and when to give him space and that's something grace never understood. or even may, when she wanted him to change??? lizzie never done that, she loves him for who he is and that shows how good of a character she actually is

i wish he'd let her in his head bc i know she'd have great advice and actually know what to tell him.

GRACE'S BETRAYAL AND WHY I THINK THEY WERE NOT IT !!!

okay i'm just gonna add something here while i'm writing. like i said earlier tommy loved grace dearly, and it's not a secret. he loved her and she loved him.

i just don't get how he married her knowing she had betrayed him. tommy always appeared as the tough man who doesn't take betrayal so good, and all of a sudden he forgets she was a spy because he loves her?? AND SHE LOVES HIM? sorry but it didn't make any sense to me

somehow he put her on a pedestal because for once since he came back from the way, someone loved him back. and i think it was the first he allowed himself to love AND be loved since greta :') but yeah 😩😩
