The Boy: Part 1
Zak's P.O.V.
The day has come for our investigation with Elizabeth. I was so happy that she was able to join us and get to see what we do. Eliza was currently sleeping with her head in my lap on our way to the location cause she didn't sleep well the previous night. She was screaming her head off in the middle of the night because her nightmares came back. I had to run to the back of my room from the RV where she was sleeping and wake her up.
When she did wake up she hugged me and started to cry immediately. I comforted her until she stopped crying. The guys were rushing into the room to make sure Eliza was okay too. When Eliza felt better she assured the guys that she was going to be okay and told them to go back to sleep. When the boys left, Eliza simply said that it was another nightmare but she didn't want to go in-depth about it. She was a little scared to go back to sleep so I stayed with her till she felt safe again.
Back to the present time, she started to wake up. She sat up next to me and rubbed her eyes while looking outside the window. "Are we there yet?" She asked me. "We're almost there. Jay is going to start filming our intro in a few minutes. We aren't going to film you yet so no worries." I told her. "Oh, no that's cool. I'm not camera ready anyways." She said while covering her face in a dramatic way. I laughed at her little antics. "Well if you want to go freshen up a bit go for it. I'll call you when we get there." I said. "Alright, thank you, Zak." She said and hugged me before she left. "Hey, Zak, we're about to turn into the location!" Billy called out. "Alright, boys, are you ready to go?" I asked them. "We are good to go, man!" Aaron said. "Let's start rolling then." I say to Jay.

Elizabeth's P. O. V.
I went to the back of the RV to get ready. After I changed into my all-black outfit I felt the RV come to a stop. I grabbed my bag with all I needed and made my way out of the RV. As soon as my feet hit the dirt I looked up.

I'm not sure what it is about the house, it feels so disturbing yet familiar at the same time. I mean it looks like any other house. It will need a little remodeling here and there. Then again, a normal-looking house can hold a lot of secrets. I actually haven't learned about the history behind the hauntings here. It would have been a good idea to know however Zak told me that I didn't have to know much cause I was a guest investigator.
Yet I wouldn't want to know if the hauntings were caused by something evil or just from a normal cause. I walked over to where the crew will be to interview a few people. I saw an older woman who appeared to be in her late 60s and a police officer around the same age as well. They were talking to Billy about how the interview was going to go and what to do. I stood next to Aaron so I could talk to him about whats going on.
"Hey Aaron." I said. "Hey, Elizabeth. Are you excited about the investigation?" He asked me. "To be quite honest Aaron I'm a bit nervous. I'm not sure what to do even though I'm not doing much. I'm probably gonna look like an idiot." I told him. "Oh no, not at all Lizzy. You're gonna be just fine. If you got any questions just come to me. I'll help you out. All the guys will." Aaron said.
"Thank you, Aaron. It means a lot." I said to him. "No problem Lizzy. Oh, I got to go film the interviews. Of course, you can come with me and see the "behind-the-scenes magic." Aaron said while doing a goofy face. "Yeah let's go." I said. Once Aaron was done setting up his camera, he signaled Zak that he was ready to start filming along with the rest of the guys. I stood behind Aaron to watch the crew work their magic.
"Right now I'm with officer Robert Hernandez. He was part of the criminal investigation that took place in this house we are standing in front of. Can you tell me what has happened here and any experiences that you've had since the crime took place." Zak asked the officer. "Yes. There was a 911 dispatch while I was patrolling in the city. They requested that all nearby officers were to come to this location because of the severity of the situation. When I arrived here and went into the house, the first thing I noticed was that all of the furniture had been destroyed. There was glass all over the floor and to the left of the living room was a body. It was a body of a man and he was already deceased. I go to one of my colleagues to get information on what had happened. He said to me that there had been six people that were murdered and there was a possible satanic ritual that took place as well. Upstairs in one of the bedrooms, there were two of the four children's bodies along with the mothers. They were mutilated, both the children had been shot and the mother was found to be sexually assaulted before she had been murdered herself." The officer explained with a sickened face.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It made me sick to my stomach knowing that there were children involved in this. How could someone be so evil and cruel?! I work with children myself and I could never imagine something so awful happen to them. The mother had to experience something so horrific before she died. It made me sick to my stomach.
"What happened to the rest of the family?" Zak asked officer Hernandez. "The oldest child was found in another bedroom with a gunshot to the head and he was mutilated just like the siblings. The last person to be found murdered was the mother of the youngest child. She was found in the basement in the middle of a pentagram drawn in her own blood. She was beaten, stabbed, and used in a satanic ritual". The officer explained. "Oh my God. Who would have the fucking nerve to do something as sinister and cruel such as this?" Zak asked in anger. "I have no clue. I have kids of my own and I would make sure my kids were never out of my sight or knew where they were after what happened here. Unfortunately, this case is unsolved to this day." The officer said. "What?! It's still unsolved?" Zak asked in disbelief. "I'm afraid so. It's as if the people who did this vanished without a trace." The officer stated.
"Do you have any photos of what the family looked like?" Zak asked the officer. "Yes, I do." He said. "This is the three year old girl we found hiding in a room." The officer said.

"This poor little girl. Where did you find her exactly?" Zak asked the officer. "She was found hiding in the same room the two kids and aunt were found. The little girl was in a secret compartment in the wall of the bedroom. When we took her out of there, we asked her how she got in there because she had multiple injuries indicating that she wasn't hiding throughout everything that had happened. She told us that her mommy found her while the shadow men were hurting her and her mommy fought them off. Then took her away to hide her in the secret room she would play in with her cousins." "Jesus Christ." Zak said in disbelief.
"I just want to take this time to give my late condolences to the family who have lost their lives that night and to the little girl who was the only survivor from that horrific event. I hope that child is well and pray that she never has to come back to this place ever again. Because this is just awful what she went through. Especially at only three years old at the time." Zak said.
"Oh! Do you have a picture of the rest of the family as well?' Zak asked officer Hernandez. "Yes I do." He replied. He pulled out a photo of the husband and wife with their children and gave it to Zak while he was reaching for another photo in his jacket pocket.

When Zak looked at the photo of the family, he gasped. He just stared at the photo as his hands began to shake. "Hey Zak. Are you okay?" Jay asked. "Dude, no pun intended, but you looked like you've seen a ghost." Billy said. Zak looked up at officer Hernandez and we could see that he was trying to find his words. "I uh... Does the other photo have the mother of the youngest little girl." Zak asked with a trembling tone. "Yes it does. Here it is." The officer told him. He handed Zak the picture of the mother. Zak looked a little nervous to see the picture. His breathing was starting to get heavy. When he finally looked at it he began to break. He dropped the pictures, walked away and began to cry.
"Woah woah woah! Zak what is it?!" Aaron shouted. "Why is he crying?! He's never done that." Jay exclaimed. "I apologize sir but can we take a break real quick? We have to see what is wrong with him." Billy said to officer Hernandez. "No that's fine. Your friend needs you. I'll wait here. I have to make a call real quick to my captain anyways." Officer Hernandez said. I walked to where Zak dropped the photos and picked them up. I could only stare at them with sorrow and disbelief. This family looked so happy and full of life. They never deserved what had happened to them. The little girl in this photo was too young and so innocent. It sucks knowing that her innocence was going to be taken away before she even knew it. I looked at the picture of the mother and my jaw dropped. It was Anne, Zak's former love from a long time ago. I felt my eyes swell up with tears. Anne and her family were the victims to this horrible tragedy and Zak never knew about it. I can't imagine the pain Zak must feel at this moment.

I look up to the house and think about the events that occurred when I catch sight of a little boy staring at me from the window to the far left on the second floor. He began to wave and smile as if he was excited to see me so I waved back. I noticed he was wearing glasses just like the oldest kid from the photo. I looked at the picture to make sure but when I looked up at the window he was gone.
