Also, now you can expect new updates every Friday! Hurray!😊😉

It had been 2 months since Virat's new assistant had joined. Of course, he expected that he would find someone who would get awed by his looks and do everything as he says. But what did he get? A sassy girl whose mouth doesn't have a filter most of the time. And his ego wouldn't let him admit but she didn't ,look at him. The problem wasn't really her mouth. No, the problem was that he couldn't fire her because his assistant though rough around edges did her work efficiently. Yes, he would give her that, she had been fast learner and even his business partners wouldn't believe she had managed to show her competency in such a short period of time. That had been one reason for his dilemma. And of course, just like Viren he too looked up to his mother for advice. He hadn't asked her directly of course. He knew, his mother's instincts were right most of the time. There was a reason, she had been able to start Arora's and manage it singlehandedly. She wasn't just his mother. Like they say, mother is the first teacher, he saw his guru(mentor) in her. She had been the one to teach him ropes of business. Yes, he had learned business stuff from business school but she had been the one who taught him how to keep his employees satisfied, make them work hard, how to point out mistakes without hurting their feelings. So now, of course he was gonna need a stamp of approval for his assistant. He promised himself, if Ms.Garg manages to impress his mother, he would accept her from the heart and behave better.

'Time to put plan into action.'

Before his plan began, he knew she had a right to be updated on the latest news. While their relationship may not have been the best, she had befriended Jeevika quite soon and they were close friends now. And their interactions were entertaining to say the least. He and Viren had eavesdropped on them quite a bit. But that was a topic for another time.

He called her in his cabin.

"May I come in Sir?"

"Ah! Ms.Garg I have some news for you."

But hearing those words, Maanvi frowned. The thoughts that came to her mind weren't pleasant to say the least.

'Hey, bhagwaan! Bachale mujhe...Bass ye naukari chhod de mere paas. Itni jaldi main dusri naukri kahaan se dhundu. Maine mere kaam mein koi kasar nahi chhodi. Par  agar phir bhi koi kami reh gayi ho toh rehem kar de mujh pe. Bass iss baar. Pata hai ki apne boss ke cabin mein koi chhipkali nahi rakhta par uss chhichhore ne bhi toh mujhe tang karne ka ek bhi mauka nai chhoda. Iss baar maaf kar de yaar. Iske aage aisa ulta phulta kuch nahi karungi.'
( Oh, God! Please save me. Don't take away this job from me. I can't find another one in such short span of time. I haven't left any stone unturned in giving my best. But if there's still something where I haven't been upto mark,  then please have some pity on me. Just one chance. I know, no employee would leave a lizard in their boss's cabin to trouble him but then that moron boss of mine too didn't leave a single chance to mess with me. Forgive me just this one time, dude. Hereafter I won't do anything like this.)

Seeing her frown in worry, Virat knew the route her train of thoughts had taken. He couldn't help but soften a bit.

"I am sure you will be happy to hear it. You see, Viren and Jeevika are going to get married."

Maanvi had been so busy  praying for her job with her closed eyes, that it took her a bit of time to come out of her own world. Hearing the word 'married' she came back to her senses. It took her a while to make sense of the words her boss spoke.

"What?! A-are you serious? That's awesome. But wait, Jeevika di, didn't tell me anything."

"Uh, well you see her answer isn't known yet."

And he briefs her about how Viren and Jeevika's family had planned things and were waiting for Jeevika's view regarding all the happenings.

"So, basically Viren sir's mom will give us the good news today."

"How can you be so sure, that she will say yes? Has she shared something with you?"

Maanvi could easily see he wasn't prying for curiosity but because he feared that Viren would suffer from heartbreak. In her time here, she had of course suffered a bit but she had also learned that however he might be he was good at heart.

"No, she doesn't have feelings for him. But she doesn't have feelings for anyone for that matter. As for Viren sir, she respects him a lot and now that you told me all this, her dilemma makes sense to me."

"Dilemma? Was she being troubled in office?"

"No, not that way. You see she was confused as to how to respond to Viren sir's friendliness since she didn't want any rumors about them going around. And then, Viren sir was obviously trying too hard to be her friend, which of course is understandable considering his situation. She understood his intentions were pure, but she also didn't want to get involved too deeply and she was trying to do so without hurting his feelings. That's what the awkwardness and quiet behaviour was about."

"I see. You may go."

'Now time to see where our relationship goes, Ms.Garg. Let's see what you got.'

It's been a while since his mother called about reaching the office building. The plan should have progressed by now.

'Time to see what fate has in store for you Ms.Garg and consequently for me too.'

With that thought in mind he left his cabin to see what the situation was. He had given it a lot of thought and very different types of scenarios in mind his imagination could get quite wild but the reality he saw had totally exceeded his expectations.

Maanvi had been enjoying her lunch break while drooling over some shirtless pics of Siddharth Malhotra like her everyday routine. What she didn't expect was to find a partner for this routine.

"Hey! Mind sharing this pic with me. Banda bada hot hai!" (the dude is such a hottie)

Looking at the lady who had been intrigued by the pic Maanvi couldn't help but feel excited.

"Of course Aunty, why not! by the way it seems you don't know the guy."

Pragya shook her head in negative pouting at the thought of not knowing a hot dude.

"Worry not! I'll tell you. I can spare some time since it's lunch break right now."

And just like that, Pragya  Arora got enrolled into a crash course on Siddharth Malhotra, who earned another fan.

"Aunty, you should try wearing jeans you would look hotter. Of course Sarees are fine but who says that only youngsters should wear modern clothes?!"

Unknown to her, Maanvi washed away Pragya's insecurities. Pragya had always wanted to do things she had missed out on earlier. Being a single mother she had been so busy in providing for Virat that she didn't get time for such things nor could she afford to spend on herself, not that she had any complaints, but now her son had freed her of responsibilities concerning their business and she wanted to live those things now. but somewhere her age had stopped her from acting out on her heart's desires. Maanvi's words shooed away all her doubts and ave her the much needed confidence.

"Will you help me shop the stuff if you don't mind?"

Seeing her sudden hesitance Maanvi understood she had no one to guide her through this and she could feel her excitement of wanting to try something new.

"Sure! I would love nothing more than to help you. We''ll have fun."

"How about tomorrow then?"

In their excitement they forgot that weekend was yet to come. When Maanvi realized she ended up in a dilemma. She wouldn't be able to accompany her right the day after but she also didn't want to hurt Pragya's feelings also.

Watching them from afar, Virat saw his mother laughing his heart out just like he had wished to to see her since years but hadn't been able to succeed at unfortunately. He knew his mother had suffered a lot and wanted to give her everything she had missed out on but there was only so much he could do. He had business to look after and then somethings were what only a female would enjoy with her. And now looking at them, he knew Maanvi had taken that place. He couldn't hold his curiosity to know what exactly was going on and ended up eavesdropping the last bit of conversation. And he came to their rescue.

"She'll join you mom. She will be working halfday tomorrow."

"Great! I'll be waiting for you then dear."

'Seems like we aren't parting ways anytime soon, Ms.Garg. Now even I want to see what fate has in store for us.'

In last chapter, the guess was Maanvi being the new character which was correct  but did anyone guess it to be Virat's mom? I hope this was a pleasant surprise for you all.

How was Maanvi and Pragya's introduction? They're gonna have fun and of course we're gonna join them on their adventure.

Till then, Ciao!😘
