Chapter 4

Year X784

Luna sighed as she laid down on the green summer grass. The sun warming her skin since her last quest at Mt. Hakobe to defeat some Vulcan. On her wrist that used to have three magic limiters now has five, sadly. Her magic had grown quite a bit when they put some magic power in her.

She had grown a lot since the explosion of the lab which she learned was called the Bureau of Magical Development. She snorted at the fancy name. She then glanced behind her guild which was named the Dragoon Mark. A red dragon was the guild's mascot with flaming wings and a golden diamond-shaped eye. The guild was known as a good guild that constantly helps wondering mages and other guilds at least that's what they told her.

They actually helped Luna when she was stranded and when Ultear had suddenly vanished on her while sleeping. Luna remembered that she was tired and parts of her clothes were ripped and were covered in scorch marks. Her muscles had felt like lead and her head was spinning over and over and over. Pretty much similar to being a really, really bad cold.

When she arrived into town, a guy named Shiro had found her passed out on the middle of the empty night street. He healed her and introduced her to the guild. They were nice and all but Luna just had a feeling that something just isn't right about this guild. Especially when they put something called a dragon lacrima inside her.

They only let her out to go on missions and she was constantly told not to reveal the white guild mark on her top left arm.

Luna shrugged the feeling off. Maybe she was just being paranoid.

"Yo!" A boy's voice yelled in the guild. "Luna! C'mon! Master Yuroshi wants us to go and defeat some dark guild! Team Shiro is going on another mission!"

Luna rolled her eyes as she looked up at the older boy. He was about 18 years old with purple spiky hair, an X scar on his right eye which he said was caused by a wizard. He grinned as he held his hand up towards her. His purple cloak flying behind him. He was wearing a regular white t-shirt with black jeans.

She stood up and stared at him. After a few awkward minutes of silence, she finally said, "Team Shiro?"

His smile faltered. "Yeah! Oh, and we don't have the same mission. Master said that you and Kat are the only ones going on a special mission while the rest of the team go on another mission somewhere else! Yours is at Master Bob's second home. See ya later!"

She stood there dumbfounded as she saw the boy leave out of her sight. She then sighed and yelled, "Kat! C'mon! We have another mission to go to! From the old man himself!"

In an instant, a pink exceed flew from the guild hall and tackled her in a hug. "Finally!" She yelled as her dress swayed back and forth from the wind. A baby blue bow was placed on her right ear and her blue guild mark was located on her back. "Haha! We have a mission from Sir Yuroshi himself! Let's gooo!" She then pulled out her angel-like wings out and picked Luna up from around the waist.

"Umm, Kat. We have to ride a carriage..." The thought made Luna sick.

She grinned. "Screw that! We'll just fly there!"

Luna returned with her own grin. "Agreed! To Pervert Bob's second home! Here we gooo!" She raised her fists which was now filled with lightning.

"Ugh!" Luna groaned after Kat had ran out of magic power and was forced to ride a carriage. "Are we there yet?"

Kat shook her head. "Nope."

"Are we-" she started to turn green. "There yet!"

Kat sighed and climbed on top of Luna's head. She began petting her with her paws and purr. "Better?"

"No, jackass!"

Kat punched Luna. "Now!" A large bump appeared on her head.

"You-"

Before Luna was able to curse, the driver yelled, "Master Bob's second home is just up ahead. You will have to walk there, however. Sorry, but this is all I can take you ma'am."

Almost immediately, Luna and Kat jumped out of the carriage and raced into the forest.

The man stared quizzically at the two. "Reckless kids these days. So wild. I should be happy that they didn't destroy my beautiful carriage. I love you!" The horses neighed angrily. "And you too!"

Luna felt alive for the first time since she was young. "I wonder what'll happen! Or what mission it is!" Her long silver hair that now reached her thighs was in a ponytail with some of her front hair out that was part of her bangs. She was wearing a black mini-skirt with a lightning bolt on the side and a lacy blue tank top with a star at the top right of it. She wasn't in the mood to hide her guild mark today.

"If you actually talked to Sir Yuroshi, maybe we would've known!"

"Says the one who was so excited that they would have to drag me there but end up failing!"

Kat sighed. "Good point. NOT!"

Luna smirked as the house or mansion came into veiw. "Let's make an entrance, Kat!"

"Aye! Aim for the door!" The exceed flew straight towards the door which was already opened while Luna missed.

She ran straight threw the wall with electricity and water surrounding her but the celestial spark was flying everywhere and dust and debris clouded her eyes. The two laughed like crazy while the people there looked stunned.

"Sh-she destroyed the whole wall!" A girl around her age stuttered as she looked at the damage.

"Another little girl..." Said a man with spiky white hair.

"Ahhh! She destroyed the wall!" A pink-haired boy yelled along with a half-naked man.

"I'm surprised that it wasn't Natsu who destroyed the wall." A blond girl mumbled.

"How reckless!" A female white cat yelled.

"Yo!" Luna yelled as she stood up and dusted herself. "Names Luna! Nice to meet ya! I'm from the guild called the Dragoon Mark!" She grinned while she looked behind her. Her eyes almost popped out of her head as she looked at the damage. "Uwahh! The old man's going to kill me when he finds out! Kat!"

The exceed stood up and also dusted herself. "Baka!"

"Lets just hope for the best..." Luna mumbled while looking at everyone.

The first man to speak was bald and had light tanned skin. Two little dot thingies that Luna thought were eyebrows were on top of his head. "Welcome. I hope that we'll be friends or at least acquainted after this mission."

"Again! He's still not fazed!" The half-naked boy yelled.

Luna and Kat nodded towards Jura. "Of course!" They said in unison.

Luna stared oddly at the scarlet-haired mage. She was wearing a Heart Kruez armor with a blue skirt. There was something familiar about her. She then looked at the blond Mage who she also remembered from somewhere. She was wearing some kind of brown shorts that have no bottom like a skirt and a tank top.

She then felt an arm sliding around her waist as she instantly snapped her head towards the owner. A man with caramel brown hair in a suit smiled. She smiled nervously back before yelling, "Pervert!" And electrocuting him.

Kat snickered as another boy walked up to her. He was probably the shortest one in the three boy group with blond hair and a white suit. "Pretty kitty," he and the other boys said.

"Again with the cat flirting," said the blond named Lucy as she facepalmed.

"Now," Jura said in an authoritative voice. He held into his staff making him look even more intimidating. "I understand that we have young ones here, but that doesn't mean that they aren't powerful! Do not underestimate one's looks by their strength." He then pointed to Ichiya. "I believe that you and your tri-mens have devised a plan?"

Ichiya nodded and and the room suddenly became dark. There was a spotlight on him as he dramatically danced and started to talk. "As you can see, there are six people in the dark guild known as the Oracion Seis. We have devised a plan and will show you what they look like."

Silence. "But first, I must visit the perfume of laboratory."

"Oi!" yelled Gray. "Did you have to mention perfume!"

That just disturbed Luna making her shudder.

The tri-mens clapped. "Yes, sir. We understand you, Senpai." While Luna and the others sweat-dropped.

How many names did they give him today, thought Luna.

After Ichiya took care of business, he started to explain. "Its name...Nirvana!"

"Nirvana?" Said both Lucy and Sherry.

"Never heard of it," mumbled Lyon.

"Have you ever heard of it, Jura?" Sherry asked as she looked up at Jura.

Jura shook his head. "No, I haven't heard of the name."

Happy walked up to Carla holding a fish in his paws. "All this magic talk is boring. Would you like a fish?" He reached out his fish towards here and smiled awkwardly.

Kat smiled. She was lying on top of Luna's head.

Carla turned her head away, uninterested. "Heaven's no!"

Ren spoke up. "We know it's destructive power is so great, the people back then see that they should seal it."

"But we don't know exactly what kind of magic it was," said Eve.

"But since the Oracion Seis have gathered in the warthwood lands, we should assume that they are after Nirvana."

Hibiki said.

"In order to prevent them from obtaining it," Ichiya said while 'dancing'. "We must defeat them, now! We have thirteen mages, whilst they have six. But, we must not underestimate them! Each of those mages is extremely powerful!"

Hibiki closed his eyes and concentrated. A diamond-like golden glow appeared on the tip of his tie fingers he held up. He swiped it with a quick move and pictures surrounded in a golden glow appeared in front of him.

A picture of a purple haired man similar to Shiro but without the X shaped scar. He was smirking in the picture. "His name is Cobra. He uses poison magic."

A picture of a man with a pointy nose with blond hair was next. "Racer, it would match him because he uses speed related magic."

Next shows a guy similar to a block with curly red hair. "Hoteye of the heavenly eyes."

A girl with short white hair showed. "Angel, it is said that she can see into your heart."

The next image shows a guy with spiky black hair and he looks goth. "Information about him is scarce, but his name is Midnight."

And the last image shows a man with white hair and odd markings around his face. "And finally, their leader, Brain."

Luna stared at the picture of Brain. The name and his face looked familiar but something about him sparked fear into her. She stared at the picture wide-eyed but couldn't remember what he did to her. It was probably years ago... She snapped her fingers. HE'S the one that tortured her!

"Is something the matter, Luna?" Lucy asked as she looked at her worriedly.

"Yeah but, Lucy?"

"Hmm?"

"Why do you look so familiar to me?"

"I honestly don't know but you do remind me of someone." Pain filled her eyes. She was about to say something before Hibiki spoke again.

"Each of these mages has enough power to annihilate a guild single-handedly. We must make our numbers worth. Right now, our numbers is the only advantage we have."

Lucy turned and raised her hand. "Erm...you shouldn't have bothered to count me at all..."

"I'm not good at fighting, either..." Wendy said while fidgeting.

"Wendy! Will you stop being like that!" Carla yelled while raising a paw.

"Worry not," Ichiya said. "Our options are not limited to simple combat. The important thing is the we locate their base."

"Their base?" Erza stated.

"We have yet to confirm," said Ren. "But we believe they established a temporary base in the woodlands. Of possible, we want all six of the gathered at that base."

"How do we do that?" Asked Gray as he out his hands in his pockets.

"By beating them up!" Natsu and Luna yelled like its the most obvious thing in the world.

"Well, back to simple combat I see," Lucy said.

"What do we do once they are gathered?" Erza asked.

Ichiya pointed his finger up in the sky. We use our guild's mighty Pegasus airship, The Christina to destroy their base and them long with it!"

"A magical bomber!" Sherry yelled.

"You're breaking out a bomber craft against humans..." Lucy said with a sweat-drop.

"This is the nature of the enemy we face!" Jura said making Lucy's eyes huge and her shudder. "Now take heed...if combat is to erupt, you must battle in pairs of at least two against one!"

"Right! I'm all pumped up now!" Natsu yelled. "I'm gonna take on all six of them by myself!"

Luna grinned excitedly as she glanced at Kat who was also grinning like a madman on top of her. Luna then ran straight outside one second after Natsu left with Kat and her yelling, "HELL YEAH!! SOME ACTION FOR ONCE!!" Luna accidentally ran through the wall again while Kat also broke through a wall on top of Luna's.

"Wait!" Luna heard them yell in the distance. "What is wrong with you two!"

"Follow them!"

"Natsu, you idiot!"

"You really have to stop doing that! We have to fix the walls!"

Luna and Kat smiled together as they bumped their hand/paw together and ran off to battle the Oracion Seis together!
