Chapter 12

"Gosh, I feel bad for Wendy..." Kat said as the two made their way to the guild. She laid on top of Luna's head with her pink and white tail swishing back and forth.

The two were heading back to their guild the long way so they could think, even though the Master told them to come back as soon as possible. But they were sure that he wouldn't mind.

The path was grassy and actually open with trees placed randomly along the fields. Many animals came to graze there including wild horses and cows, birds, and the occasional dog or cat.

Luna sighed as she listened to the nearby river flow and the wind whistle in her ears. "Don't be," she said. "I'm sure she'll fit right in with Fairy Tail."

"That ride was so long~!" Kat complained, changing the subject. "I had to knock you unconscious twice so that you wouldn't complain. But I still wanted to see you whine about it." She chuckled.

Luna felt sick just thinking about it. The moving wagon rocking back and forth while the ride was getting bumpier and bumpier by the second. She halted to a stop and covered her mouth. "Umph!"

"Hey!" Kat yelled. "Luna! How are you just going to get sick by thinking of it!?" She then put a paw on her forehead and flicked it.

"Ow! Cut your nails!" She rubbed her forehead and puffed her cheeks.

The guild came into view as the screaming and yelling got louder. The people there always like to argue and fight for some reason. Luna could smell the the alcohol even from here and since the guild is located far from the city, no one seems to care about them.

Just when the two was about 20 feet from the guild, they were attacked with two furry animals. "LUNAA!!" Red as he hugged her chest. She freaked out and tripped.

"Red!" Kat out her paws into fists and attacked him. The two exceeds rolled around trying to pin each other down. "I swear! You have got to stop doing that!! Don't make me use my claws!!"

"Try me, scardy-exceed!!"

Luna grumpily stood up and dusted her clothes. Blue stood nearby and sighed. She face-palmed at her brother and walked up to Luna. "Hey, Luna!" She waved her paw and flew next to her. "There's one bad thing..."

"Why you little punk!!" Kat yelled.

"Luna's mine!!"

"I'M NOBODY'S!!" She smacked the two on the head and held each of them by the tip of their clothes, Red being his cape.

"Luna!" Blue grabbed her hand and lead her towards the guild doors. "The Assassin Team is back..." She sounded worried and almost panicked.

"WHAT!!" Kat fought her way to make Luna release her grip but failed. She huffed and just swayed back and forth. "Those douche bags? They almost killed me and Luna when we went on a damn mission! We didn't want to go in the first place but NOOOOO they just had to drag us there!"

"Couldn't you just turn into a tigress while Luna use her magic?" Blue sat on Luna's shoulder.

Before Luna could answer Kat spoke up again in an angry tone. "No! They literally threatened us and knocked us unconscious! Luckily, none of them are pervs..."

"Why'd they even want you two for a mission anyway?" Red clung onto Luna's arm like it was a lifeline. She tried to shake him off but he stayed glued.

"I don't know," she said. "Maybe for us to observe them?"

"Yeah right!"

Wow, Luna thought. She must really hate the team. But then again, why am I calm all of a sudden about those jerks!?

"C'mon, guys. Master called for us three to come to his office after you two arrive back. I'm sure it's important." Blue then jumped off and looked expectantly at Luna. "Do your thing. The guys will fix it this time with no complaining."

"Alright!!" Luna put her fist up with a huge wicked grin on her face. She jumped up and punched the door open but the wood immediately broke on contact. "WE'RE HOOME!!" Her fist was covered in water and celestial gold.

She expecting no one to care and continue what they were doing because they don't care while some of the guild mates try to challenge her to a battle. But that wasn't the case right now.

They were all quiet and stared at her in what seemed like fear. The four sent questionable glances at each other. Mostly Luna and Kat at Red and Blue to see what had happened while the two were gone.

"I told you," Blue whispered in the two's ears, "The Assassin Team is back."

It was eerily silent and pretty much awkward after a few minutes. Luna tried to find the three-some team but they were nowhere to be seen. It's like they hid in the shadows which is what they usually do when they're in the guild.

"So, the little wanna-be Mage is back," a voice mocked in the shadows. All the guild members shakily moved their heads towards the three except Luna and the exceeds.

"What do you want, Shi?!" Kat yelled in an angry tone. She growled and slid upwards at Luna's head making her flower fall down and her bangs covering her eyes.

"KAT!!" Red yelled.

"WATCH YOUR LITTLE DAMN MOUTH!!" Luna suddenly yelled making the exceed fall down with an oof!

"Oh?" Shi walked out of the shadows. The guild watched intently, no one ever brave enough to break the conflict forming. "Are you challenging me, Luna?" He raised both of his hands with moved his fingers towards him.

The two clenched their teeth. "Luna! Kat!" Blue pleaded. "Calm down!"

"You heard what the cat said. 'Calm down'!" He mimicked her voice. He laughed and cockily smirked.

The two had a bad relationship with the leader, Shi (meaning 'death' in Japanese). Ever since the quest incident, they had been on bad terms. They fight every single second they get and even nearly killed one another, but that only made the tension between the two stronger.

He was always dressed in a black cape with the guild mark bearing the middle. His hair was spiky and pitch black and his shirt and jeans are also black along with his boots. His black guild mark was located on his neck. He uses dark magic that could kill its victims when the user wanted to.

Luna wasn't sure why that type of magic is legal but she hoped that it gets banded soon enough.

"So how many buildings did you destroy this time? Or is it the city?"

"None!! Wanna go Death Breath?" The two glared towards the Mage with such hatred that the Dark Lord should be proud.

"Now, wait a minute-!" Blue yelled.

"Oh, a fight?" Tatakai ('battle' in Japanese) stepped out of the shadows and grinned. His fists covered in a black substance.

The guy always looked crazed with his dizzying black eyes. His clothes were consisted of baggy pants with scandals and he's usually shirtless but sometimes, he where's a baggy black shirt with the guild mark on. His orange hair was pulled back but spikyish. His magic is known to drive its victims crazy and those who survive never stayed the same; the dark magic was never given the name. His dark green guild mark was located on his chest.

Again, Luna hoped that his magic gets banded. These type of magic should be illegal. Once, she had tried to report it to the magic council but the guild master himself prohibited her or anyone whatsoever to come hear them. She had not known why.

"Lemme join in!" He raised his fist and swung the magic directly towards the four to was still at the entrance of the guild.

The four dodged as an explosion was heard outside. Debris collected around them, swirling around each of the six of them.

"Now, now. Did you forget about the Queen?" Otome ('maiden' in Japanese) flew down right between the two with her sly smirk and petty pink hair.

Her blue guild mark was located at the top of her chest where it was shown with her blue and pink dress. Her blue eyes were known to attract men and lead them to their deaths and her magic was controlling people and mages and put them under a trance enough to kill.

But there was something about her locket that disturbed Luna. There was a rumor going around the guild that it has some sort of power to drain all a wizard's magical power and never gave it back. She wasn't sure if it was true or not, but she hoped that it was just a regular necklace as a decor or something.

"Otome!!" This time Blue yelled. "You still haven't given me my bow back yet!"

"Oh, but I like it as part of my collection! It doesn't belong to a little kitty brat like you!"

"What!!?" Red had to hold his sister down before she could get herself into trouble.

"So much for calming down..." He mumbled.

Everyone watched intently at the mages whom were about to rumble and break down the guild...again.

The Assassin Team was the strongest team in Dragoon Mark and was made up of some of the strongest. They got their name from what they do to their victims and their type of magic.

Luna, however, was also one of the strongest and youngest in the guild. But she never formed a team, just partnership and her exceeds. She and the guild always has to hide their guild mark to anyone. Luna doesn't know but the guild sure does.

"Didn't you forget that I was the one who implanted that lightning dragon lacrima into you?" Shi cracked his knuckles with his cape flying behind him.

"But I didn't want that! You just implanted that in me by force!"

"Alright!" Tatakai grinned crazily. "Let's fight!"

"I would be happy to!" She raised her fist that was crackling with electricity.

"Heh!" Kat roared.

"Surely you'll die this time, little princess." Dark, disturbing magic swirled around his feet making everyone back away from fear.

"Are you really sure about that, Luna?" The Mage raised her hand in which her index finger was shining.

Thee was a tense moment of silence before they all sprang at the same time.

You might call Luna and Kat crazy fighting three of the strongest guild members against only one and a cat but they have gone through worst to lose now.

Before anyone could make the first move and hit one another, someone yelled at the top of their lungs. "WHY YOU PATHETIC MAGES!! QUIT DOING THIS THING OVER AND OVER!! YOU'LL DESTROY THE GUILD AGAIN!!"

Everyone snapped their heads towards what is now a pissed off guild master. He cleared his throat and stared at them. "Luna, Kat, Shi, Otome, Tatakai, Blue, and Red, you are to go to my office immediately! We need a discussion about something very serious business."

The man was tall with slick black hair and a really long beard that stopped at the ground. His cloak was printed with the white guild mark and his intense gray eyes showed experience and the years of fighting. He was still young, however, and his guild mark was located at his shoulder.

He turned around with his black beard trailing behind him and his hands behind his back. "Oh, and if anyone of you would be brave enough to try to sneak, the room's soundproof." He stepped forward leaving the rivaling mages from angry to serious.
