Okay, this is just to give any readers who might have trouble understanding a bit of the terminology used a few explanations :)

Chaps Definition: leather pants without a seat, worn by a cowboy over ordinary pants to protect the legs.

Remuda: a herd of horses that have been saddle-broken, from which ranch hands choose their mounts for the day.

Trail Boss: a foreman in charge of a cattle drive.

Nighthawk: the men sent out to watch over a herd during the night.

Drover: a cowhand, or cowboy.

Ramrod: the second-in-command.
