Prologue

Somewhere in Japan, a rather peculiar and strange area can only be found by those that are in need. The sun was shining brightly in the morning and a green and white house stood out among the many others as something was standing by the window. The figurine is called a creation.

"If you find yourself troubled by something mysterious or a problem that's hard to solve. There's a place you can go where you always find help. You just need to look for it..."

Everything fades a beautiful and clear blue sky as the silence was in the area but not before the silence was broken by the sound of an alarm clock going off in a bedroom. The house belongs to the Yoshioka residence. In one of the bedrooms, a cow shaped alarm clock was beeping loudly on the desk before a hand hit the snooze button. The hand belongs to a 17 year old teen named Yoshioka Haru.

Haru let out a groan and turned over sleepily on the other side. She opened her eyes a little before she gasped and turned to the clock and was in shock when she saw the time.

"Not again!" She yelped as she scrambled out of bed and hurriedly to get to school on time.

Downstairs, a red haired woman named Naoko heard the commotion upstairs and went to the bottom of the stairs to see if her daughter was awake.

"Aren't you up yet?" She called up to her and got a reply.

"I'm up! I'm up!" The hasty reply came.

Back upstairs, Haru was now dressed in her blue school uniform and hastily fixed the bed and hurried to the mirror. She tied her hair in the usual ponytail and quickly grabbed her school bag and left her room only to return back and checked herself in the mirror. She saw that her skirt wasn't straightened out and patted it down.

"Whatever." She nodded before hurrying downstairs to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Naoko was sitting by the table as she was ready to eat a healthy breakfast before work as she sprinkled some pepper on her food. She looks up to see Haru rushing in and looking around frantically.

"Hey, mom." Haru hastily greeted her mom while looking for her bento box.

"Really, dear, why do you bother setting up your alarm clock when your sister always tries to wake you up on time?" Naoko questioned her daughter in amusement.

Serene was such an early riser and she always tries to get Haru to wake up when she wakes up early for school.

Haru finally spotted her bento box on the table as she quickly picked it up and put it in her bag and ran for the door.

"Gotta go." She bid her mom as Naoko had a small grin as she decided to tease her daughter.

"Too bad you don't have time to eat." Naoko said as Haru came back in and was contemplating whether she should stay and eat breakfast or just run to school.

Naoko took a bite out of her food as Haru looked at her in envy.

"Mmm, mmm. It's delicious." Naoko smiled in enjoyment.

Finally making up her mind, Haru rushed out of the kitchen but not before giving her mom an annoyed look.

"That's just mean." She said as she ran to the front door and put her shoes on.

Naoko decided to let her be as she enjoyed her breakfast.

"Have a nice day."

Haru quickly opened the front door before closing it and making a run to the city to reach her school on time. She jumped over a bush but her skirt got caught in it. She swat at the bush and resumed her sprint to school. She crossed the street but stumbled on the next street. She looked back and saw that her shoe came off.

"Oh, my shoe!"

Not knowing that a team of baseball players were jogging, she tried to get her shoe back. But unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side as the team of baseball players blocked her path.

"Oh! Excuse me?" She said as she tried to get past them but to no avail.

"Oh, come on." She whined in worry and panic, knowing that she's going to be even more late.

At the same school Haru was going to, class was already starting as the teacher was reading something on his textbook while writing on the blackboard. A strawberry blonde girl around Haru's age looked at the door before patting the seat beside her.

"Hey, Serene, is Haru late again?" She whispered while making sure the teacher didn't hear.

A silver haired teen, a year older than Haru and Hiromi, glanced at the door before whispering back.

"Yeah, but she'll probably be here in a few minutes." She replied before the two resumed their attention to the class.

"The kingdom is now gone, yet the mountains and rivers remain. And the castle is drapes in the vivid green of spring..."

Serene then lifted her head a little when she heard the door open. She glanced towards it and saw that Haru was sneaking in. Already knowing her sister was about to get caught for being late and sneaking in, she just watched with an apologetic look.

"Haru." The teacher called Haru and Serene winced already knowing she was caught.

"We can see you sneaking in, so just get to your seat, please." The teacher told her while not even glancing up from his work.

"Yes, sir." Haru quickly said as she stood up and walked to her seat behind Serene as the wolf class burst out laughing.

"Busted." Hiromi said with a soft and fond smile.

Haru sat down in embarrassment as she looked towards her crush, Machida, and saw that he was laughing with the class as well. This just made Haru feel even more embarrassed as she looked down on her desk with a sigh. Serene just shook her head at everyone and looked at her notes and gave them for Haru to copy.

A few hours later, it was lunch time and Haru, Serene and Hiromi were on the roof of the school and enjoying the view. There were a few people there too and some were playing volleyball.

Haru was distracted with her thoughts that she didn't see the ball coming towards her until it was too late as it hit her on the head. She rubbed her sore head while giving the ones playing a look. They apologized as Serene just gave Haru a fond smile before resuming reading the novel that she borrowed from the library.
