The hospital's small TV screen fizzled off as the blurry pixels of the news reporter went to black. Why the old TV made such a show of being turned off, we shall never know.

Nor will Marinette ever know why her beloved aunt Tikki made such a show of being turned off of her and Plagg's relationship.

The extremely rich couple were an extremely hot topic on the news. The paparazzi swarming the hospital had followed them for photos and taken several pics of Tikki and Plagg... Not being in love.

However, Marinette was not interested in any of the silly gossip spread about by people who hadn't met her aunt and uncle! That's why that silly show was turned off immediately.

But... What if the media was onto something? Tikki and Plagg had visited several times since the last chapter each one more awkward than the last. Something was definitely wrong with Tikki but was it the relationship?

The usually bubbly red-headed woman had suddenly gone so cold on both her husband and her niece, and at times like these with conflict on the horizon, such behaviour was suspicious.

Even Alya thought so!

"Girl, there is something weird going on around here. Your family has always felt like a second family to me but recently I'm getting the vibe that no one's been sticking to ohana." Alya said, yellow eyes narrowing behind the thicc frames of her glasses.

"Yeah like, your aunts been totally... sus," Chloe said through chewing gum, she was sitting on the opposite side of the brunette on Marinette's hospital bed.

"Chloe I can't believe you said that at a time like this." Marinette huffed and cringed at her blonde friend.

"What? I'm just saying red is sus! Should I reframe the joke?" Chloe raised a hand and did the phone gesture, "Hello it's the cold war, red scare! Red scare!"

"Okay, okay I get it, Tikki wears a lot of red! But yeah guys, I guess it's weird of her to suddenly become such a stranger but maybe she's reliving the trauma of her sister getting killed?" Ah yes, when Marinette's the voice of reason somethings definitely dubious.

"No way! It all lines up! First, an anonymous enemy declares war on you then your aunt starts treating you differently? She totally wants the throne!" Alya says oddly enthusiastic, "Think about it, she's waited years to rule but gets ignored for you? What does she do? Shoots you at your own coronation! It's like some weird book!"

"My point exactly!" Chloe agrees, the two high fiving across the bed.

Marinette looks at the two and sighs. In what shitty book would have teenagers deciding the fate of nations?

"Well, my point is that it's too much like a book! This is real life guys, the scar in my head is real and any scars in my aunt's heart are also real, let's not jump to any conclusions when she could just be hurting. Let's offer our support before we offer our suspicions."

"I think Tikki is suspicious!" Squarks a certain bird flying into the room. Marinette's eyes widen.

"Jumping to conclusions I believe that my aunt, who you all know as Tikki is the one threatening me and our nation," Marinette looks around the room of french students before clearing her throat, "Uh sorry, my nation."

It was a meeting, a meeting of Marinette's war council! Consisting of Nino, Alya, Chloe and of course No.1 boyfriend Adrien.

The group of friends- uh sorry, generals, were sat around a round table sealed away in a soundproof room. However, the most important detail of the war room was its air conditioning. The most well-ventilated room in the castle.

Did I say castle? Oh right, Marinette has finally been discharged! Everyone cheer for the full recovery of our protagonist 👏👏.

"I'm sorry your family is going through a difficult time my love, is there anything I can do to support you?" Adrien said, taking his girlfriend's hand.

"Yes! Listen up everyone," Marinette declared, standing up from her seat for dramatic effect, "I have put together an elite team of our best and brightest to capture my aunt for interrogation. However, since we have yet to prove anything she will be unharmed! For this elite team will capture her through means of dance battle!"

Everyone around the table clapped and there was much rejoicing. Over the cheering, Nino asked, "So dude, where's this incredible team?"

"It's us!"

All at once the clapping stops, somewhere a guitar string snaps and even Adrien, the biggest Marinette fan of all looks at the princess in disbelief.

"Darling I think us being an elite team is a bit of a stretch."

"Guys please, I know it sounds absurd but please just take my word," Marinette sang, "Though the stretch might be too tight, we are all stretched with might! Though of self-confidence may be small, we'll be the best crime-fighting team of them all!"

"With a pro dancer or two, me and you, you, you and you, there's nothing we can't do! Do it for me or do it for kicks, Alexa play my homemade motivational remix!"

Music starts up and Marinette presses a button on the table and five colourful tubes emerge from the floor. The tube doors open revealing five superhero looking costumes.

"Alya will be Rena Rouge the fox!" Marinette points at the orange fox costume and Alya smiles slightly.

"Is it because I'm sly and think outside of the box?" Alya sings.

"No." Marinette points at the next costumes, "Nino you'll be Carapace! Chloe don't give me that face, you will be-"

"Leave my name up to me! All eyes on me cuz yellow looks good on me, Queen Bee cuz I only hang with royalty! I'm Bourgeoisie, the birds work for me! Not gonna let some princess choose my identity if I have to fight some evil entity," Chloe starts rapid ping.

Huh well whaddya know, the rap verse goes to Chloe.

"Marinette's silly names can buzz off, Cara-Give-me-space while I pop off. Rena Rouge cuz she goes red when she blows her top off! Chat Noir and Lady Bug sitting in a tree, they'll fall down in the presence of Queen Bee-"

"If I hear more I'll revolt against the bee monarchy," Nino states, "Seriously is this a musical? Did the author run out of ways to be original? Everyone just calm down and introduce our new dancing superhero roles normally!"

"The chapter's over."

"Oh, sorry Chloe."

So sorry I made you guys wait months for that. It's like one am when I'm writing this and having a 'dance number' is the only way I could motivate myself to finish writing this.

The song will probably be replaced with real chapter parts in the future.

Anyway big news, the chapters are gonna start coming out way more regularly since we are coming up to the story ending in like, five more chapters!!

However, there will be a short prologue type book coming out which will focus on Ladybug and Chat Noir's careers before China once this book is done.

Plus I haven't seen past season one so like are Rena rouge and carapace even canon?
