It stopped raining at some point during the night, and the gang got up early the next morning to head back to the beach. Fortunately, they didn't get caught...but they still collapsed on the sand as if they ran a hundred miles. And they just laid there, with their eyes open and staring into nothing...looking like they were succumbing to starvation already, and attracting some unwanted attention. Vultures, the dimension's special blue feathered vultures to be precise, were circling the gang from above...assumably looking to turn them into their next meal. After a moment, they finally came down...and all started poking at the still unmoving Wither Team, assumably making sure they were dead (in which they were not). Then, one vulture pulled a pretty big clump of fur off of Eden...causing the tigress to finally realize what was going on. She turned to the large bird before giving a rather loud scream, in which alerted the rest of the gang and caused them to immediately spring to their feet upon finally noticing what was going on. The vultures seemed to think that they were lashing out and attacking, because they didn't immediately fly away...they had started to defend themselves. The Wither Team all grabbed sticks, and proceeded to swat away the blue feathered fiends...as they flapped about while attempting to peck at the heads of their "attackers". And unfortunately, it didn't take very long for the gang to weaken. Wither Sickness, who had been sleeping in a tree, suddenly took notice before jumping into the fray as well. He grabbed each vulture with his multiple tentacles, and repeatedly slammed them into the hot sand with as much force as he could muster...before flinging them back into the air, where they simply just hovered there, looking terribly dazed. It was then when Eden decided to share her feelings.
"WE'RE STILL ALIVEEEEE!!!!" And the vultures flew away in fear.
