Markiplier: Getting Over It
Hoooh Boy... It sure has been a bit, haven't it? Almost a whole two years off of writing. Hell, I've been so distanced from writing to the point that I didn't even bother looking at the hundreds of a comments that my stories got; something I always did. Yikes.
Now I have been able to talk to a few of you, mainly the ones asking what I've been doing/when the next chapter—for any of my stories—was going to be finished. And when I explained I would get to it, and that I just needed a break, you'd say that I should take all the time I need or that I deserve the break. And while part of me agrees with that sentiment, I have 11 stories, and I only started the fan-fiction business about 3 years ago. I have major plans I want to do for these stories, and I feel like I've just been depriving you all by taking this long. And I've been where you all have been when waiting on ongoing stories that I've wanted to see updated. Sometimes they did get updated, and sometimes they never got updated again without any response. I don't want to put you guys through that. Though the next time I get some writer's burnout, I'll upload a notification to all of you so that you'll know I'm on a break.
Anyways, as an added bonus for the chapter, I've got a new painting for you guys. 4 versions of Soundwave in one. The top left is Cyberverse Soundwave, the top right is the XM Studios Soundwave statue, the bottom left is the Bumblebee movie Soundwave, and the bottom right is a cel-shades version of the Siege Soundwave. I hope you guys enjoy it as much, or even more so, than the Optimus painting.
Now, speaking of chapter bonuses, there's something at the end of this chapter that should get most of you excited. A secondary reaction that will hint to future chapters. I'm sure you'll all love it.
As for some quick notifications to this story:
1.) I've uploaded the revision for the first chapter of The Dark Crystal. In it I've changed it so that Oscar is Jen instead of Ren being Jen. I also added a tiny bit extra to the end of the chapter, as to give it a better resting place to be continued from.
2.) I'm gonna have to change Oobleck from being the Hulk. Why? Because you guys voted for Blake as Black Widow, and if I'm to do some stuff from the MCU it'd be awkward to write reactions to Oobleck being in a relationship with Blake. I'm thinking I'll instead have Yatsuhashi as Hulk. Either that or you guys vote for someone else to be Black Widow. Your choice.
3.) I've been able to watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space; it's going to be the next horror film used in this story.
But that's all for now. So without further ado, on with this long-awaited chapter. Enjoy.
____________________________
Real quick, just before we get into the chapter, I've been thinking about doing a "what's on my mind book". This would be talking about things I'm thinking of during the week, whether it be about pop culture, current events, or about ideas I have for my stories. This would not only give you a better idea of what I'm doing, and we could better converse about the topics and my stories.
But this is something I'll only do if you guys think it's a good idea, so tell me your thoughts about it when you can.
Now we can get to the chapter.
____________________________
It was a seemingly calm weekend day at Beacon Academy. Students were either on campus for relaxation, training, or studying, or they had gone out to Vale to go shopping and exploring.
Many had found this to be a peaceful day. And many were content with it.
But there was one person who wasn't having the best time at the moment. And that person was none other than Sun Wukong. He, along with his blue-haired partner, Neptune Vasilias, walked alongside each other in the outskirts of the academy. The blonde money Faunus held a befuddled look as he informed his best friend of his troubles.
"I'm telling you, man, I can't find team RWBY anywhere on campus." Sun said with a shake of his head. "And when I tried to ask Jaune and his team, I couldn't find them either. I even tried asking random students around campus. No one's seen them."
"Hm. And just to be clear, it's safe to assume the reason you're looking for team RWBY is so you can see Blake, right?" Neptune questioned his friend with a small, knowing grin.
"Well, duh. She's ones of the coolest people I've ever met." Sun replied without any hesitation. "Of course I want to hang out with her more."
Neptune let out a quiet chuckle as he shook his head. "You know, it's cute to see you crushing hard on a girl who's your exact opposite."
"What can I say? Blake has a very... alluring nature to herself that I enjoy a lot." Sun shrugged in response.
"Is it because of her looks, her ninja-like skills, or her deadpan, yet stern personality?" Neptune questioned with a smirk. "Cause I think you might have a thing for dominant woman."
"If I solely had a thing for dominant woman, I'd be dreaming about Miss Goodwitch every night." Sun said in reply. "Blake just oozes this kick-ass, cool-headed demeanor to her. And she can be really cute when she opens up about her feelings."
"Well, for your sake, I hope she thinks of you in the same manner you do about her." Neptune told Sun as he patted his shoulder. "But if you really can't find her on campus, Blake and the rest of RWBY probably went down to Vale for the day. Maybe they wanted to go sight seeing, or your crush roped her teammates into another White Fang stake out."
"Yeah... I still feel bad that we left them to go after Torchwick on their own." Sun frowned a bit as he rubbed the back of his head.
"In our defense, we failed to keep up with team RWBY, and we were hungry." Neptune pointed out with his finger raised. "Besides, they did all right in the end. There was a lot of damage to the road, and they failed to get Torchwick, but they got out unscathed. That's a win-win in my book."
"Try telling that to the girls whenever they decide to bring the incident up." Sun retorted. "Let's be glad they're too focused with other stuff to remember to get on our cases for leaving them hanging."
"Like I said, win-win." Neptune smiled back.
With a playful role of his eyes, Sun waved Neptune off as he turned around. "Well I'm gonna go check and see if Blake's in Vale. Though it definitely won't be easy."
"You've always been able to follow her before. Blake would probably just hate it you failed to do so now." Neptune said with his own playful look.
"Hmm... No. I'm pretty sure me following her gets on her nerves sometimes." Sun said.
At this, Neptune gave a small, dull look. "I know that. I was being facetious."
"Oh... Well, see you later, bro." Sun replied before running off.
"Just remember not to do anything more stupid than what you usually do around Blake!" Neptune called out to his team leader, who already a good fifteen feet away from him.
Soon enough, Sun was far from the sight of his friend as he continued on his way to Beacon's docking area. But as the monkey Faunus found himself truly alone on his trek, something completely unexpected occurred.
At first, there was a strange whirring sound that came from Sun's left, those he had yet to recognize it's presence. What he did recognize, however, was the feeling of suddenly being pulled by a wind-like force, as if he were about to be dragged away by a tornado. As Sun finally looked to his left, his eyes widened at the sight of a blue vortex spiraling before him, trying to drag him in.
"Whoa!" Sun exclaimed in shock at the sight, and at how much stronger vortex gradually pulled against him.
However, quickly thinking on his feet, Sun did his best to run away. The pull of vortex made movement very difficult for the monkey Faunus, but Sun did not plan to simply run away from the vortex. Instead Sun was heading towards several trees that were to his right, and as he neared the closest one, he latched onto it tightly, slowly shimmying his way around to its back.
Once Sun had secured a sturdy position upon the tree, he was finally able to exclaim in bewilderment of the vortex. "What the heck is going on here?! What sci-fi bull crap is this?!"
From then on, it had been a good two full minutes that Sun resided upon the tree, watching the blue portal as he tried to figure out what to do next.
"Okay, what to do here? I could try waiting the portal out... yeah, but that's probably gonna take too long—if the portal ever closes to begin with." Sun said to himself before continuing to brainstorm. "I'm thinking the better option is to trudge behind the trees until I no longer feel the portal pulling at me. Then I could make my way back to campus grounds and try to alert a teacher about this thing... that is if they'll believe me... and if this portal's still here by the time I try and warn someone about it."
But before Sun could enact upon his plan, the swirling vortex surged a bit as an object came flying out from within it. From what Sun could make of it, it appeared akin to a fishing hook attached an ethereal blue line from what most likely was a fishing rod. However, this hook was far larger than any that would be used for a fish. And in a split second, the hook had extended out to the monkey Faunus, latching on to his open white shirt.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Sun said with wide eyes at the hook.
Before Sun could attempt to react, he was suddenly jerked from behind the tree with a force far greater than that of the vortex. Sun then gave out a scream, flailing his arms about as the fishing hook dragged him to the blue portal.
"AAAHH!!"
And just like that, Sun Wukong was flung through the vortex; with it closing right after.
Once he had passed through the vortex, Sun found himself floating through a wormhole of bright and brilliant blues and whites. Everything passed by him at swift speeds as the fishing hook continued to drag him to wherever it had originated. And as this happened, Sun couldn't help but to marvel and exclaim at the sudden roller coaster he was dragged into.
"Wooaah!! This is both awesome and scary at the same tiiiime!" Sun screamed as loudly as he could, his voice reverbing all around the bright tunnel.
Soon enough, Sun was able to spot a white light at the end of this magnificent wormhole; so bright that he tried to shield his eyes the closer he got to it. From there, it wasn't long until Sun passed through this white light, as he soon found himself landed upon a hard yet polished surface.
With a small grunt, Sun soon got up to his feet as began to check his surroundings. "What the heck just happened?"
Looking around for a second, he was quick yo notice that he was in some kind of sci-fi-esque theater with glowing blue runes and symbols on the walls and ceiling. Not only that, but there were other people in the theater with him. While Sun only skimmed the theater room for a second, it didn't take long for him to spot the cat Faunus he had been looking for the entire time.
"Oh, hey Blake. What's up?" Sun smiled as he waved at Blake.
Seeing Sun, Blake sighed a bit before waving back to her unlikely friend in return. "Hi, Sun."
Glancing around the room some more, Sun noticed that Blake was joined by the rest of team RWBY. Not only that, but team JNPR was beside them, along with Penny and a girl he didn't recognize. Sun also noticed that there were several more people in the upper rows, including Professor Port, Doctor Oobleck, a tiger Faunus he didn't recognize, Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and Roman Torchwick, who was beside a multi-colored girl who matched the description of a helper of Torchwick's that team RWBY had told him about.
"So, uh... does anyone have an explanation for what's going on here? Like, why are we in a theater? Why was I dragged through a wormhole? And why is Torchwick here?" Sun asked before casting the criminal a suspicious look.
"Trust me, monkey boy, it's not a treat for me to see you again either." Roman replied to Sun.
Sun then heard someone clearing their throat behind him, most likely as a means to get his attention. Turning around, Sun soon widened his eyes in surprise as he stood before a blue, ethereal-like being with golden pauldrons, an ornate golden helmet, a cape, and a staff who's top was comprised of three interconnecting circles.
"Sun Wukong. I am Vortech." Vortech introduced himself to the shocked monkey Faunus. "And if you'll follow me to your seat, I will give you the most detailed and coordinated explanation as to why you are here in my makeshift cinema."
Sun stood frozen, blinking a bit before finally uttering out a reply. "... Yep. This somehow just got a whole lot weirder."
In the meantime, Ozpin, Glynda, Ironwood, Qrow, and Tai were all on their way to the food court. The walk was painfully silent. Ozpin held an almost emotionless mask to his face, and yet there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes. As for his cohorts, they were filled with a mix of emotions. None knew what to say, or how to start the questions that clawed at the back of their minds. However, just as the group neared the food court's entrance, Qrow had had enough of the silence, and decided to speak his mind.
"Okay, I've had enough with the waiting." He stated, causing everyone to halt one by one; all eyes looking to the Beacon headmaster. "Ozpin... what the hell?"
Ozpin was the last to stop in his tracks as he sighed, lowering his head as Qrow continued.
"I mean, Salem... the Queen of the Grimm, the most evil person on Remnant, the force we've been fighting against all these years... and yet you somehow failed to mention that she was your fucking wife." Qrow spoke in an angered, yet confused tone.
"Crudeness aside, Qrow is right." Ironwood said, nodding to the scythe-wielding huntsman. "Everything you talked about back in the theater, everything about your life as Ozma and your past with Salem... these aren't details you simply gloss over."
"...What can I say?" Ozpin quietly replied as he soon turned to face his companions. "Everything that's happened with Salem, everything that's happened because of her... it's my fault."
"Your fault?" Glynda asked in confusion. "Surely you don't think just because you rescued Salem from her father's tower means you are the sole reason for how things are now. You said it yourself. You didn't know about the dark personality that lied behind Salem's desire to see the world. You can't blame yourself for not being able foresee who Salem would become."
"I mean, I still don't know why you wouldn't tell us that Salem was your wife, but Glynda's right. You can't blame yourself for not knowing what'd happen." Tai said as he crossed his arms. "Believe me. Speaking as someone who's been married to a woman with her own inner demons, I know the feeling."
"I don't blame myself for finding Salem for the first time... there's more to it than that." Ozpin said before sighing once more, bringing his hand up to rub the bridge of his nose. "...I suppose it's best to start from where this madness all began. My first death. The death that should have been my only death."
Hearing this, his colleagues stood silent as they all stared at Ozpin, awaiting his tale.
"Through my many wanderings and adventures during my life as Ozma, I had fought many foes and triumphed in many battles. And when I had found Salem, we became an almost unstoppable duo. The only thing to rival our combined powers and skills was the love the both of us had for each other. But after all of our exploits and accomplishments, I had been stricken by the one thing neither I nor Salem expected to occur. A terrible illness. One that could not be cured during that time, even with magic. ...As you can no doubt surmise, I had been taken by the illness. The last thing I could remember before I slipped away in death's grasp was the mournful and tear-filled face that marred Salem. And with my final breath, I was gone from the mortal world."
It was then that Ozpin held a melancholic look before he continued. "At least... that's how it should have been. For the next thing I knew, I awoke in fear and confusion. I found myself in the arms of Salem as she smiled down in overwhelming relief and joy upon seeing me alive. But we were not in any lands that kingdoms of humanity ruled. Before us was a large Grimm pool, and standing in front of it was none other than the God of Darkness himself. Salem and I were in the Land of Darkness, the original birthplace of all Grimm."
"Though not long after the God of Light soon appeared, angry with his brother. It had seemed that the Brother of Darkness had arisen me from the dead by the wishes of Salem; for being the first human to come to pray before him. However, the Brother of Light stated that my resurrection was in violation of their rules of nature. He had killed me in retaliation, but the Brother of Darkness had brought me back again, going against his elder brother's wishes. And thus the two Brothers began to argue. It would seem they would soon battle. But it was soon revealed by the Brother of Light that Salem used the Brother of Darkness as a backup plan to resurrect me from the dead as she had been turned down the former after pleading with him for the same wish. Having released Salem had been disingenuous with him, the Brother of Darkness had destroyed me, sending myself back to the afterlife once more. And for many years, that was that."
"Wait, wait, wait... hold on. You're saying Salem tried using the Brothers to bring you back to life?" Qrow questioned. "Why wouldn't the Brother of Light let you live? What rules of nature was he trying to uphold?"
"Perhaps he believes the cycle of life and death must remain constant." Ozpin replied. "Where one life dies, another life can flourish. But if a dead life is arisen, then it breaks the cycle. At least, that is what I assume."
"Probably doesn't help that if people found out about Ozpin—I mean Ozma—was brought back from the dead, than everyone would try and bring back their deceased loved ones." Tai said before casting an distant and saddened look. "I know I'd be one of the first in line."
"But... if the Brothers had you returned to the world of the dead, how and why did they curse you with reincarnation?" Ironwood then asked Ozpin. "Where exactly in that tale was how you failed to stop Salem?"
Ozpin closed his eyes for a moment as he silently breathed through his nostrils. "The truth is that my ability to reincarnate was never intended as a curse. Rather, it was insurance so that I could serve the task the Brother Gods had placed upon me. The only curse about my constant reincarnations is that I have to live with the failures of preventing Salem from the path she takes now; having to watch as those closest to me died over the years while I continued living over and over again."
"Then what happened with Salem? What was this task of yours?" Glynda questioned as the confusion in her voice was mixed with concern.
Ozpin thought on what words he would say next. He had spoken much of the truth thus far, but if he were to go any further and Ozpin believed he lose the trust of his compatriots. And so, Ozpin devised to dance around some of the facts as he waved through his tale.
"After what appeared to be centuries, I had been brought forth by the Brother of Light. He sought to task me with the goal of reuniting humanity, so that the Gods may judge us when the time comes for them to return. However I did not wish to return to life; believing that I would not be with Salem once I was. But to my surprise, the Brother of Light informed me that Salem had lived throughout all of this time. Hearing that my love still walked the mortal plain, I desired nothing more to embrace her once again. But in my excitement, the Brother of Light had warned me that Salem had changed from the woman I once knew, and that I may not like what she had become. However, my love for Salem was too strong. I accepted the Brother's task, yet ignored his warnings. And thus during an invasion of the Grimm, I was reincarnated into the body of a white haired man who himself came under attack. Once I had knowledge of what was happening around me, I sprung to action, fighting back against the Grimm. When the ordeal was over I began my search for Salem."
"Through my wanderings on this new Remnant, I had found things were no longer how they once were. Magic was now but a fairytale, replaced by Aura and Semblances. Humanity had seemed regressed compared to the majesty it had once accomplished. Not only that, but the Faunus had appeared as well. Everything was practically new to me. But I never once let these changes deter me. Eventually I heard tale of a woman, a witch, who had lived deep in the woods; alone in a rugged shack. None dared to peer upon her gaze, and those that did were swiftly chased away. Deep in my mind, I believed this woman was the love I had been separated from for so long. And so I journeyed to the rugged shack. Once I had arrived there, I had only made it right before the small steps of the house before a woman came storming out from its doors. Her skin and hair were bleached white, her eyes red and black, and her dress plain and dark. She was nothing like any of the humans who existed now, and yet... despite her appearance, I knew her face and soul from anywhere. And as her eyes stared back into mine, the woman's features softened, for she could see who I truly was, despite my own new appearance. At long last, Salem and I were joyously reunited."
"Uh, sorry to interrupt, but how did Salem get so... you know... pasty?" Tai decided to ask Ozpin. "From what you said, she looked like a normal human before. Especially if her dimensional counterparts are anything to go by. So how'd Salem end up as a human Grimm?"
"I'm just about to get to that part." Ozpin replied to Tai before continuing. "After reacquainting ourselves, I had began questioning her on what happened to humanity. Salem had told me that the Gods destroyed the old humanity out of spite. I would later find out that was only partially true. The Brothers had indeed destroyed the old humanity, but only because of Salem. She herself had grown spiteful towards the Gods after the refused to resurrect me. And in her rage, she was able to convince and manipulate the great kingdoms of man to turn against the Gods. The army Salem had amassed used every kind of magic they could against the Brothers, but the Brothers could not be defeated with the gifts they had bestowed upon the world. And so the Brothers eradicated humanity as punishment, leaving none but Salem as the last human on Remnant. The Gods chose to punish Salem by letting her wander the world alone for the rest of her days, before the Brothers themselves left Remnant as well. However, Salem's sorrow and rage could not be quelled. Even in her loneliness, she continued to plot against the Gods, trying to devise on how she could take vengeance upon them. Eventually, through experimentation of her own magic, Salem was able to merge herself with the components of a Grimm pool. The cost was that her skin became as white as a ghost, and her eyes as deep a red as blood. And through this new transformation, Salem could no longer die by age."
"Hmph. Wouldn't it have been a blessing if that wasn't the case." Qrow snidely remarked under his breath.
"So... there was another humanity before us? And Salem was able to convince them to attack the Brother Gods?" Ironwood asked in shock. "How could she accomplish this? Unite humanity against their creators?"
Ozpin held a momentary sideways glance before replying. "I imagined she convinced them with the promise of power. After all, to kill the Gods would mean you could dictate yourself higher than deities. Perhaps Salem led the previous humanity to believe that they could gain a greater power than they ever knew by being able to slay the Gods. But regardless on how she convinced them, they were convinced nonetheless. Salem always had a knack for sweet-talking people. In her very own words, the hearts of men are easily swayed. A truth proven more and more as the years go by."
"The fact that people are still willing to follow her, even to this day, is a testament to that." Tai remarked.
Ozpin gave a quiet, solemn nod before he continued. "Sadly, even I am an example of Salem's manipulations. In more ways than one. You see... I found the new humanity to be more base, fearful, and chaotic than I had once known it to be. Salem said it was because they had no gods to worship; none to guide them. And it was in that moment that Salem proposed the notion that we should become humanity's new gods. To bring about order to Remnant, and shape the world with our own wills. ...I should have told Salem than and there that what she suggested was but a pipe dream; that we should keep to ourselves and enjoy our reunion. Alas, I did no such thing. Instead, I let my love for Salem blind me to what this path could lead us to. I followed Salem's suggestion, and together, as the last magic users on Remnant, we created an image of power and grandeur for the people of Remnant. Together, we held back the Grimm with our great powers, and gained the worship of many a loyal follower."
"So you and Salem tried to replace the Brothers?" Glynda questioned. "And you were succeeding at it? ...Then how did it go so wrong between the both of you?"
At this, Ozpin now gave a saddened smile as he neared the end of his tale. "When we started our little holy crusade, things were good. Everything seemed right. In time we built a mighty kingdom, and at its center was our mighty castle. And in the castle, Salem and I lived and loved... and soon enough, we created a family of our own. Four beautiful daughters, each a year younger than the other. We had found true happiness... but that would all soon fade into dust... As the years went by, I began to see Salem twist away from the woman I once knew. In time, she desired to spread our will and power across the lands of Remnant, even going so far as to force others into following us. Much blood was spilled, and I soon started to question if what Salem and I were doing was truly right."
"Well that's good." Qrow remarked.
"I confronted her one night, trying to talk her out of this new path of warfare. But she refuted me. It was then I decided to tell Salem about my mission from the Gods." Ozpin continued. "I told how I needed to reunite humanity... and thus I told her about the relics."
"So that's how she knows about the Relics." Ironwood said as he balled his hand into a fist; a small grimace growing upon his face. "Despite present matters, I can't say I fault you for disclosing such information to Salem at that time; considering she was your wife."
"But what did the Relics have to do with the conversation?" Tai then asked. "I know that you've told us that they each have immense power to them, but what's their link to your mission?"
"Indeed, Tai." Ozpin nodded. "I've told many of the power that each of the Relics hold, and that if Salem gets ahold of all of them she would wreak destruction upon our world. But I've told fewer of how bringing the relics together would allow her to do such a thing. When I was first given my mission by the Brothers, they created the relics to mimic the basic and primary aspects of life. But they told me that by uniting the relics, the Brothers would be called back to Remnant; to cast their judgment upon the world."
"So the relics are basically... pieces of a homing beacon?" Tai questioned. "Unite them, and the Gods get the message to come back."
"To judge us." Glynda continued with furrowed brows. "And with all that Salem has done to divide people, from the shadows, the Gods wouldn't be happy with the state Remnant is in."
"And should they be displeased with what they see, the Brothers will destroy everyone once more." Ozpin said with a shake of his head.
"But... wouldn't that get Salem killed too?" Qrow asked in confusion. "What's the point of bringing back the Gods to destroy us for our sins if she'll end up being one the prime sinners to be judged?"
"To spite me." Ozpin answered. Though in his mind, he knew that wasn't the full truth of it. "Salem solely blames me for what became of our relationship... our family. Having me fail at my mission is the only true thing that will bring her joy."
"But what could she possibly hate you for?" Ironwood asked. "For simply arguing against conquering others under your banner?"
"Our troubles down-spiraled far deeper than that, I'm afraid." Ozpin gave a sad sigh as prepared to finish his tale; to bring up his most painful memory. "After I had told Salem of my mission, our eldest daughter came before us. To mine and Salem's surprise, our daughter could use magic; inheriting it from both of us. I was completely stunned at the sight; believing Salem and I were the last people who could ever use magic on Remnant. But Salem looked upon our daughter with admiration and joy... or rather, she held admiration and joy our daughter's newfound abilities. And within time, all of our daughters were able to use magic. We were all excited about their abilities, but none more so than Salem. But Salem's excitement evolved into ever growing ambition; a dark ambition. Soon she came to me with a new plan. Salem decided that our family should replace everyone on Remnant who could not use magic. She was completely ecstatic with the idea; thinking there was nothing abhorrently wrong with it... It was there that I saw what Salem had truly become; what the Brother of Light warned me of. She would have us kill and out-breed everyone else in the world, just to bring back magic."
"Geez... and I thought she was a bitch before." Qrow muttered as the rest of his colleagues shared disturbed looks.
"I knew what that would meant for our daughters. And I decided then and there that I would not allow them to live such a fate." Ozpin stated. "So later that night, I gathered our daughters as quietly as I could, intending to take them far away from Salem... But Salem found us before we could escape. I tried to speak with her, but she was blinded with rage at what I was doing. Salem went on a rampage against me; trying to destroy me. I did all that I could to defend against her so that I could get our daughters to safety... In the end, the ensuing battle had destroyed our castle, and our daughters... were killed in the crossfire. But Salem showed no care our childrens' fates. She was focused on me, and me alone; consumed by rage. She blamed me for what happened that night, and killed me before I could utter any other word. That is how our war began... that is my greatest failure."
The others went silent at the end of Ozpin's tale. Each held varying looks of sympathy, with Qrow and Ironwood holding the more reserved looks of the group. However, despite this silence, Tai was the first to speak up in response.
"But... that wasn't your fault Oz. You can't be blamed for actions that happened because of Salem." Tai stated as he held the most sympathetic and understanding look of the group.
"I've long since recognized that I was not the only guilty party in what occurred that night." Ozpin replied. "But there are still things that I blame myself for. My story and Salem's have been intertwined for all these long years. The actions of one of us have almost always influenced the other. I allowed Salem to convince me in joining her to become Remnant's new gods. I told Salem about my mission and the relics in a time when she was becoming corrupted by darkness. I went behind Salem's back to try and escape with our children without taking the right precautions to avoid her. All of those actions have led us to where we are today."
"You cannot blame yourself for any of that Ozpin." Glynda told him. "You loved her. You couldn't have predicted the path Salem would take. Even the best of us are fallible when it comes to the ones we love."
"But it doesn't change how blinded my choices were." Ozpin said with a look of uncertainty and depression in his eyes. "If I had been smarter in my actions of getting my daughters away from their mother, if I had kept the relics a secret from Salem until I could ascertain who she was becoming, if I had been able to talk Salem out of wanting to be gods... if I had just heeded the Brothers' warning about Salem from the start than maybe I could have changed things for the better. Maybe this war would have never have begun, and maybe my children would have been able to live long, natural lives."
"Oz, look..." Qrow began, pausing to give a short sigh. "You've always taught me not to let the past haunt you. You got dealt a shitty hand; something I know of far too well. It's not your fault that Salem screwed with the Gods and got the first humanity killed. It's not your fault you got thrown back into the mix because the Gods wanted someone to save the new humanity. And it's not your fault that Salem messed herself up. You were put inside a rigged game. But despite that, you've done everything you could to push back."
"Qrow's right. We all make mistakes that regret down the line. Brothers' know I've been in that boot camp many times." Ironwood spoke up, walking towards Ozpin as he placed his robotic hand on his shoulder. "It's easy to look back on those mistakes and recognize what you could have done to get a better outcome. But that won't change what happened. All we can do in the end is to move forward, learn from our failures, and try to better control the situation in the future."
At this, Ozpin gave a small chuckle from under his breath; a tiny small forming upon his face. "Usually I'm the one giving people guidance. And while I may never always outright say it, having the support of my friends to lift some of the burden I feel every day truly brightens my old soul."
"You have certainly yet to give us any reason to doubt you." Glynda replied. "Even if some of your methods can be infuriating at times."
"I just have one more question." Qrow said as he looked Ozpin straight in the eye. "Why hide all of this in the first place? We're the closest people to you. The full background information might be more helpful to us in this fight."
"It's not under easy consciousness that I keep secrets like these from you." Ozpin solemnly answered. "There have been many times in the past where I have told my allies the full story of Salem and myself. And for more times than I would have liked, that revelation resulted in some of my allies joining Salem; falling under her influence."
"Hmm... I can see your reasoning, then." Ironwood said with his hand to his chin. "No doubt there were those who did indeed blame the situation on you, or ended up becoming even more afraid of Salem because of your past with her. It may not be the most desired course of action, but it's far from not being warranted."
"I guess Jimmy's got a point." Qrow said before looking at Ozpin again. "Just... can you promise me that you'll keep less of these secrets to yourself?"
"I..." Ozpin began with an unsure look as his words became caught in his throat for a moment. "I can't promise that I will always be upfront with you all about certain matters I know of, but I will try my best to relay as much as is needed."
"That's probably the best answer I'll get out of ya." Qrow said with a shrug of acceptance.
After that final exchange, Tai clasped his hands together as he looked at his colleagues. "Well, if all of that's out of the way, hope about we go and get those snacks? Everyone back in the theater is going to start wondering what's taking us so long."
"Agreed." Ozpin said with a mirthful smile.
No one else spoke a word as the group went back on their way to the food court. However, despite all that Ozpin had told his friends, a feeling of guilt still swelled within him. For as much of the truth his tale about Salem had been, he knew deep down that it still was not the complete truth. And a voice within his head knew that as well... but it was not his voice.
"Oh! So close to the full truth, and yet so far." A masculine voice spoke to Ozpin, carrying a humored tone to what sounded like a man on the radio. "Funny how one extra detail can change the entire scope of a story, wouldn't you agree?"
Hearing this voice caused Ozpin to widen eyes as he paused in his steps; immediately jerking his head to see who might have been snuck up upon his group. But there was no one to be seen.
"Oh, there's no need for that, Ozpin. I'm inside your head for the moment. Decided I would pop on by once I realized you and your "gang" left the theater to run an errand." The voice explained. "Hmhmhmhmhm. I thought I'd might just give a quick peek at you all, but then you started on with that story of your's. And what a story it was! The romance, the drama, the heartbreak, the supernatural humanity! Reality entertainment at it's finest."
"Who are you?" Ozpin questioned the voice within his own thoughts.
"You know who I am Ozpin, though not by the biggest margin. But I know much about you." The voice replied. "The man who lives and dies over and over again until he completes his holy mission. The man who has helped shape the world of Remnant time and again, yet always keeps part of his life in the shadows. After all, I find it so very interesting to study up one's own multiversal counterpart."
"You..." Ozpin said as he recognized who was speaking with. "You're my counterpart from Hell. Alastor Ozpin."
"Ding ding ding! We have a winner folks!" The now revealed voice of Alastor jovially proclaimed. "Though I only really go by Alastor."
"What do you want?" Ozpin bluntly asked his demonic counterpart.
"I merely wanted to critique your story. I was quite disappointed that you left out the most key detail about Salem. I was so ready to see the looks on your friends' faces when they learned that truth. Hahahahaha!" Alastor said with a laugh. "But I can understand why you didn't tell them that tidbit. They still have faith that Salem can be defeated and destroyed, and you need them to keep that faith... Hmhmhmhm. If only they knew."
Hearing this caused Ozpin to look down in guilt before casting a glance at his close confidants, who had yet to release Ozpin had stopped walking with them. "They're not ready for that truth. Rarely anyone I have met is. There is far greater risk to them knowing that fact about Salem than there is anything good. They need hope for a victory against Salem."
"As do all good and loyal soldiers." Alastor said with a smirking tone. "But I haven't a doubt that the truth will come out. And I for one am excited to see the dramatic outcome unfold..."
Before Ozpin could reply to Alastor, Qrow called out to him as he and the others realized Ozpin was several feet behind them.
"Hey, Oz! Something wrong?" The veteran huntsman asked.
"It's nothing, Qrow." Ozpin quickly responded. "Just lost in my thoughts is all. You all continue on. I'll be right behind."
"Okay..." Qrow replied as he raised his brow, sharing an uncertain look with the others. "Just don't be long. We're gonna all hands to carry back the food and drinks."
Ozpin nodded to Qrow, prompting him and the others to continue walking without Ozpin. Ozpin then took a moment to see if Alastor had anything else to say to him. But the demon gave no response, no indication that he was within Ozpin's head anymore. The Beacon headmaster saw this as a sign to carry on with the others, but not without an uneasy feeling in the back of his mind that the eyes of his counterpart were still watching him.
Back in the theater room, as Ozpin and his colleagues worked on getting food, Vortech had been going over a very detailed explanation to Sun about why he, and everyone else, was in an alternate dimension. The explanation was thorough and to the point, but ending up taking longer than Ozpin's explanation to Qrow, Ironwood, Glynda, and Taiyang. Some in the audience impatiently awaited to get on with the next viewing, but opted to focus in on Vortech speaking to Sun; the latter of which was now seated behind Blake. They had heard similar explanations already, but the current conversation helped to pass the time. However, Vortech was now nearing the end of his explanation.
"And thus all of you will be staying within the realm of Foundation Prime to continuously view alternate dimensions that feature your multiversal counterparts; though that will not always be the case." Vortech informed Sun as the monkey Faunus' eyes were glued to interdimensional being. "This will continue to be the case of your position until I am informed to release all of the "visitors" here back to your home dimension. Now, are there any important questions that you require an answer to? Anything you need me to repeat, hm?"
Sun continued to stare at Vortech for a moment before giving a small shake of his head in response. "Nope. I think you've pretty much covered everything from your entire spiel right there. That was a very well articulated explanation. I honestly don't have any questions about the situation."
"Excellent. Someone who listens the first time around." Vortech said with a pleased tone before opening up a small vortex with his hand, reaching into it. "Here. Have a banana."
From out the small vortex, Vortech pulled out a banana that he promptly handed to Sun.
"Ooh, thanks." Sun eagerly said as he excepted the fruit; soon thereafter sitting down behind Blake.
"Why do I feel like you gave Sun a banana to be vaguely stereotypical against monkey Faunus?" Blake questioned Vortech with a raised brow.
"I better not be getting a lecture about stereotyping from a Cat Faunus with an immense fondness for fish, and an equally immense fear of canines." Vortech dryly responded back before swiftly turning his back as he began his way up to his throne.
"He's got you there, Blake." Sun pointed out to his love interest.
"Yeah, but I'm like that willingly, as a Faunus myself." Blake replied. "He purposely "just so happened" to pull out a banana for you, fully aware of what kind of Faunus you are. You didn't even ask for a banana."
"I admit to being neither guilty or innocent to these accusations." Vortech stated to Blake as he sat on his throne.
"Look. Regardless of whatever his intent was, I like bananas, and he gave me a banana." Sun said as he began to peel open the fruit. "I'd call that a win in my book."
"You are... just a beacon for Faunus everywhere." Ilia spoke to Sun with as much dry sarcasm as she could give. "An inspiration for us all, truly."
Sun raised his brow at Ilia before looking back at Blake. "Who's she?"
"Sun, meet Ilia. Ilia, meet Sun." Blake said, introducing the two. "She's an old friend of mine. She's also a chameleon Faunus. Ilia, this is Sun. He's... he's my new friend."
"Really?" Sun asked with a surprised look, turning to Ilia. "Huh. Can't say I've met too many Faunus that naturally look more human than they actually are. Heck, I can't even say that I've ever met a chameleon Faunus before today."
"How fortunate for you." Ilia dryly remarked again as she eyed Sun with a blank stare.
"Well, hey, any friend of Blake's a friend of mine." Sun smiled as he offered to shake Ilia's hand.
However, Ilia made no move to reciprocate that gesture as she still held her apathetic look to the blonde Faunus. "I don't do handshakes."
"That's okay." Sun kindly replied as he put his hand back. "Still nice to meet you, though."
Blake saw the look Ilia continued to give Sun, prompting her to lightly nudge Ilia's shoulder. "Be nice."
"I am being nice." Ilia replied. "This is me being nice."
As Ilia crossed her arms and turned to face the screen, Yang leaned over to Blake as she began whispering to her.
"Is it just me, or does Ilia seem pretty apprehensive towards your beef cake?" Yang asked.
"He's not my—!" Blake sharply whispered back before stopping herself; groaning at Yang as the faintest blush could be seen on her cheeks. Though whether this was out of embarrassment or frustration would be up for debate. "Yes, Sun has very toned abs. But he's not my "beef cake", as you call him. We're just friends."
"I say it like I see it." Yang shrugged with a teasing smirk directed at her partner.
"Well stop seeing it that way before you and I start to have problems." Blake warned Yang. "Anyways, Ilia's an avid believer in the White Fang's current mission. She doesn't take too kindly with care-free Faunus that don't bat an eye to what might be perceived as racial prejudice. Faunus like Sun."
"Isn't that counterproductive, though?" Yang questioned with her brow raised. "Like, what's the point of a Faunus disliking another Faunus for being okay with humans?"
"There is no point to it. It's one of the many reasons I left the White Fang. Too much of us just became spiteful over the years, even to Faunus that disagreed with our beliefs." Blake replied as she soon grew a sullen expression upon her face, thinking of those closest to her that she had practically cut out of her life when she joined Sienna's new White Fang. All for a difference in opinion. Blake schooled her features before taking a small glance over at Ilia. "It's become an every growing issue. For many with that mindset, it's difficult to overcome... I should know."
Yang grew a small look of concern as she placed her hand on her partner's shoulder. "There... anything you wanna talk about, Blake? I'm all ears... I mean, they're half as much as yours, but just as functional."
Blake replied with short, dry chuckle as she looked at Yang. However she soon replaced that smile with her usual stoic demeanor as she removed her partner's hand from her shoulder. "I'd rather not talk about it right now. Least of all in a movie theater."
Before Yang could say anything more, however, the doors to the theater opened as Ozpin and his colleagues had returned with the drinks and food.
"Hello, everyone. I hope we didn't keep any of you waiting too long." Ozpin said as he held some drinks in his arms, including Neo's blue slushee. "The trip took a tad bit longer than expected."
"But the service was surprisingly quick." Tai added as he, Ironwood, and Qrow held the popcorn buckets and snacks; whilst Glynda held the rest of the drinks.
"Of course it was quick. They're my minions." Vortech declared as Ozpin walked over to Neo and Roman. "I demand absolute perfection on their part. Failure to meet such ends is simply unacceptable."
"Here you are." Ozpin said as he handed Neo her slushee.
Neo immediately took the ice-slushed beverage and started drinking from it, not paying much kind to Ozpin afterwards. However, as the Beacon headmaster walked off to deliver the other drinks, Roman held a slightly confused look towards him, still pondering why Ozpin would bother being generous to his partner.
In the meantime, Tai, Qrow, and Ironwood began passing out the snacks. Ironwood handed Ren his popcorn, while Tai and Qrow gave Team RWBY the food they asked for.
"Who wanted the gummy fish?" Qrow questioned as he held up a bag of candy fish in assorted colors.
Blake, without a word, quickly rose her right hand up in response to Qrow. At the same time, she held out her left hand to accept the gummy fish, to which Qrow promptly tossed the bag of sweet confections to the cat Faunus.
Qrow then moved over to Yang to hand her one of the popcorn buckets. At the same time, Tai was giving Ruby the second bucket.
"There's the popcorn." Tai said before holding out a large soft pretzel in a paper bag. "Now, who ordered the pretzel?"
"That would be me, Mr. Xiao Long." Weiss politely answered. After she said this, Tai handed her the salted snack, to which the heiress thanked him for. "Thank you."
"You're very welcome." Tai smiled in response.
After that Qrow walked over to Ruby, to which he held out a red cardboard box towards her. "Here's your cookies, squirt. Don't eat 'em too quickly."
Ruby eagerly snatched the cookies out from her uncle's hand, and immediately opened it up to eat one of the cookies instead. The action practically took her three seconds to accomplish. And already, she started taking out a second cookie.
"Yep. Pretty much saw that coming a kingdom away." Qrow quipped in regards to the action, from which Tai chuckled whilst lightly shaking his head.
"Hehehe... Sorry." Ruby said with a sheepish smile. Though after she said this, she immediately ate the second cookie.
"It's not us you have to apologize to." Tai said as he and Qrow began moving back to their seats. "It'll be your cookies that will be gone in under a minute if you eat them so fast."
Hearing this, a bead of sweat dripped from Ruby's head as she looked between her father and her cookies. With a nervous gulp, Ruby slowly began to close the box of cookies, though she found her hand resisting to do so. What could Ruby say? She was addicted to cookies.
I after the food had been delivered to their respective persons, Glynda then proceeded to pass around the drinks. She gave Pyrrha her ice tea before handing out the sodas to Ruby, Blake, Yang, and Ilia. All that was left to do was give Weiss her water, but as she handed the heiress her drink Glynda soon noticed the new guest sitting between team RWBY.
"Mr. Wukong?" Glynda questioned as she spotted Sun.
"Hi." Sun waved with a smile as the Ozpin, Qrow, Ironwood, and Tai then looked over to him. "I just got here."
"Woah. How did we fail to notice him?" Tai asked in surprise.
"Ah, Mr. Wukong. I'd say it's a complete surprise to see you, but considering the people who have been brought to this otherly dimension it's sort of a like a lottery to see who comes next at this point." Ozpin cordially greeted the monkey Faunus. "Though I do apologize that we don't have any food for you. If we'd known you'd be brought here we would have gotten something for you as well."
"It's okay Prof. I got a banana." Sun said as he held up said fruit.
"Ah." Ozpin responded with a nod and smile.
"Well then, if you're finally finished passing around snacks, we need to get this next showing on the road." Vortech stated, prompting Ozpin and his inner circle to take their seats once more. "We have an arduous viewing ahead."
"Arduous? What's the viewing focusing on this time?" Ironwood questioned.
"We're going back to YouTube." Vortech answered.
Most people in the audience widened their eyes at this in excitement with some even letting out a gasp to show their eagerness.
"Are we gonna watch another video with Vanoss-Neo in it?" Ruby asked with stars in her eyes.
'Please say "Yes"!' Neo signed as her look reflected Ruby's.
"No." Vortech bluntly replied.
Neo immediately deflated at this as her shoulders slumped over.
"We will instead be viewing Sun's YouTuber counterpart." Vortech stated as he got the viewing ready.
"Neat." Sun said with a curious smile. "... What's a YouTuber?"
"It's the name of an online content creator in another universe." Blake answered him. "We saw a lot of our counterparts as YouTubers in a video where two of them pranked everyone else in a video game."
"Neat." Sun nodded in response. "So they're like DustTubers."
"Basically." Yang responded to Sun with a nodding shrug.
Vortech then cleared his throat as he stood up from his throne. "Okay then, before we get ahead with the video, I have a little speech to help get everyone prepared for what's to come."
Everyone, for the most part, had their attention directed towards Vortech now as he began his speech.
"Greetings ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to YouTube." Vortech began with dry yet elegant tone. "On this episode we will be watching as serendipitous Sun goes from jovially jogging his way into the unknown before soon finding himself maniacally meandering up one of history's most annoying mountains. Laughs will ensue, tears will be shed, and a man will reach his breaking point like he never has before. Yeeeesss, it's time for... Getting Over It. Now sit back, prepare for the melodrama, and enjoy the show."
"Wait... what?" Sun asked as his face grew an expression of confused concern.
However he received no answer from Vortech as the interdimensional being sat back on his thrown and started the viewing.

Once more the viewing opened up to a YouTube video. Immediately, everyone saw a black screen that asked "What kind of pointer are you using?" with the options of "Mouse" and "Trackpad" below it. In the top left corner of the screen was a face cam that showed an older version of Sun Wukong. He was dressed in a button up shirt with a white blanket hanging from his shoulders. He had a shaved mustache and beard that was accompanied by a pair of glasses and a set of headphones that sat atop his blonde hair. Lastly, he was seen sitting in a sound-proofed room with two lamps at the back that emitted a red glow.
"Hello, everybody! My name is Suniplier, and welcome to Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy." Sun spoke to his viewers as he waved at his camera with a smile. "Now this is the latest and greatest game made by the developer of QWOP, which means... that this game is gonna be totally fair... not rage-inducing at all, and I'm gonna keep my sanity in this. Why am I wearing a blanket, also? Because it's cold. But I imagine that the burning hot fires of rage, that I'm not gonna have, are gonna get me through this just fine."
____________________________
"Damn, do I look good." Sun spoke with awe and admiration. "Never really thought about having a beard before, but if I start growing one I think I might keep it."
Yang let out a whistle at the sight of the older version of Sun. "Momma's liking what she's seeing. You really know how to pick 'em, Blake."
"It's more like Sun picked me." Blake said in reply. However, Blake also had to admit that this older counterpart of Sun was... quite the looker, to say the least.
"He kind of looks like Tai." Qrow chirped out.
Tai squinted his eyes at the screen, rubbing his chin as he thought on Qrow's words. "Huh. I guess you're right. He's a brighter shade of blonde, but I see some of the resemblance."
"Dammit, Uncle Qrow." Yang swore with a recoil, now only being able to see the face of her father in place of the face that she found to initially be sexy. "Why do you gotta ruin it for me like that?"
"Cause I'm a giver." Qrow answered before taking a swing of his flask.
"Why is his name Suniplier?" Weiss questioned with furrowed brows.
"Because he initially wanted to do comedy and action sketches for content." Vortech replied. "His name is a combination of Sun and multiplier, in reference to all the characters he would play as in his initial video ideas."
"I take it his plans changed to video games then, given what we're watching right now." Weiss surmised as she turned around to look at Vortech.
"Well, not entirely. He did eventually dabble in sketches, of which spawned many characters. All of which eventually spawned into actuality across the mutliverse." Vortech stated. "There's always a chance you might run into a few of them if you're a dimensional traveler such as myself. Though on the off chance some of those counterparts find themselves wandering into the theater, make sure you avoid the one with the pink mustache. He's... weird."
"Pink mustache?" Ruby questioned with a confused look.
"Huh. Well there's a funny image." Sun muttered as he envisioned himself with a pink mustache.
"Why would we need to avoid that one in particular?" Weiss asked with a slight look of concern.
"Because... he's just weird. He flip flops in and out of every existence he enters, and you never meet him in the right order." Vortech said with an exasperated tone to his voice. "It's annoying really. And he rarely makes sense. He'll make you question your sanity. Trust me, you'll want to avoid him if he runs into you."
"Okay..." Weiss spoke with an off tone, still unsure what to make of this pink mustached Sun that Vortech spoke of.
"What's his subscriber count?" Jaune asked.
"Thirty-six point seven million." Vortech answered.
"Damn!" Sun exclaimed. "That many people like me? Well, my counterpart anyways."
'No! My throne's been stolen!' Neo signed with a saddened, flabbergasted expression.
Roman silently patted his partner's shoulder as he stared forward with an unbothered look to his face.
"So other than all of that, judging by what you said and what Mr. Wukong's counterpart just said, he's playing a rage-inducing video game. Am I correct?" Ozpin asked Vortech, to which Vortech nodded in response.
"Hold on. People purposely make rage-inducing games?" Winter asked in confusion. "What for?"
"They're usually made with very difficult challenges in mind." Jaune answered. "The thought is that if you can beat something designed to be massively hard, then you get a higher rate of satisfaction."
"I can't imagine how many people would actually play games like that." Pyrrha said. "Especially at the risk of accidentally attracting Grimm."
"Well that's why they're never made extremely difficult. Just hard enough to provide more of a challenge than usual video games." Jaune replied to his partner before side-eyeing the screen. "But... I can't speak on alternate worlds without any risk of Grimm."

Sun then clicked on the "Mouse" option as he was then taken to the starting screen of the game, which showed a rock climbing hammer striking upon a rock. "Mouse. Ah, a rock. Oh! A hammer, a chisel, ah... pike, smackadoodle, a womballywoo. An icepick. A rock pick. A pick! There we go. Alright! New game! I'm ready for this!"
____________________________
"Did it really take him that long to remember what a pick is, or is he being silly on purpose?" Weiss asked as she crossed her arms with a slightly disapproving look. "And that's not even a pick. It's a climbing hammer. He had it right the first time."
"You know what, the other me may have been silly, and wrong, but I like his attitude." Sun said with an approving nod.
"Hehe. Who calls a pick a "smackerdoodle?"" Ruby asked with a giggle.
"Smackerdoodle? Hahaha! Who calls a pick a womballywoo?!" Nora asked in reponse as she snickered between her words.

As Sun clicked new game, he was sent to a screen that showed a rocky landscape with water beside it. Upon this landscape was a single, skinny tree; and right below this tree was a black cauldron with a climbing hammer resting on the side of it.
"Come on, I'm ready to get over it! Come on!" Sun said as he stared at the screen. He noticed that the cauldron began to shake a bit, prompting Sun to furrow his eyes at the cauldron in curiosity.
It was then that the upper body of a naked, bald man climbed up from the cauldron and grabbed onto the hammer.
"Oh... that's not righehehehehit." Sun nervously chuckled. "That's not-that ain't-that ain't right, you know? You look at something and you just see something that's not right. It's one of the canon's from, ah, Donkey Kong, but... man, that ain't-that ain't right."
____________________________
"What the?" Glynda questioned in befuddlement, leaning forward in her chair to get a better look at what she was seeing.
"Don't worry. We're all seeing it." Ironwood reassured Glynda as he raised his brow at the screen.
"A man in a cauldron, with a rock pick." Mercury said as he mulled over the character on the screen. "That, uh... that's definitely something you don't see everyday."
"Understatement of the century." Emerald said as she and Cinder shared an incredulous.
"How would a man of that size even be able to fit inside of that cauldron?" Penny asked with a puzzled look.
"I doubt realism was something the designer of this game was going for." Ren said.
"You get that with a lot of video games." Ruby said with a nod. However she quickly then paused in thought as she honed in on something Suniplier said. "Hey, wait... what's a Donkey Kong?"
"A cartoonish gorilla that started off as a video game character." Vortech answered her. "A very famous one too. I've no doubt we'll eventually see him in one of these viewings."
____________________________
Sun then quickly noticed how the man in the cauldron then moved his hammer as Sun moved the mouse's cursor on the screen.
"Oh! Ooh. Ohohoho. Look at this dynamic animation here." Sun chuckled a bit as he practiced slowly moving the hammer around, before jutting it forward in whatever direction he could. "Ohohoho. Ohohoho! Eh-yeiah!"
Sun then shot the hammer down the left, shooting the cauldron man forward.
"Waaaah-hahaha!" Sun laughed a bit as his character shot forward towards a leafless tree. "Hohahahaha..."
"Hey! Hehehe!" Sun laughed some more as he continued to push the man forward. He then noticed that he could hook the hammer over a branch from under the tree as he soon found that he could lift the cauldron man up. "Oh. Ahh! Ohohohoho! I see, I see, I see. Okay. I see how you work. Ohoho! Oh, young—."
Sun then cut himself off as he then found out that swinging the hammer around would not just push the cauldron man back and forth, but it would do so in a swift way that Sun was uncomfortable with.
"Oh, let's just relax here." He said as he tried to carefully set himself down into one of the rocks, only to be met with more of the odd movements from using the hammer. "Aha-ha-ha! Oh-hoho! Yes. Okay. All right, all right. I got it. I gotta launch myself..."
____________________________
"Woah. That is some loose mouse movement right there." Jaune said a scrunched up look of surprise. "I don't like the looks of it."
"Why? What's the problem?" Sun asked Jaune. "It just looks like the other me can get some serious air time."
"I'm a rage-game? Controls like that just make things even less easier than they could have been." Jaune replied with a slightly wary look.
"Eh. I say bring it on." Sun said as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms behind his head. "I like a challenging game. And it looks like Suniplier is already getting the hang of it."
____________________________
Once he steadied himself upon the rock, Sun lowered the hammer below the cauldron before he promptly shot the character forward, towards the tree.
"Aiieeh!" Sun shouted as he landed upon the first branch. Upon his success, he gave a short cheer as he now tried to climb over onto the next branch. "Aha! Okay."
With a cartoonish call, Sun proceeded to swing his way up and around onto the next branch as he then hooked his hammer around the top of the tree
"Ah-whop! Badabooh! Bohp-badaboh-boh-aha! Badaba-dabaday!" Sun sang and laughed as he messed around with the hammer a bit, hitting in between two branches. He then tried to steady himself as Sun attempted to get his character over the top of the tree. "Heyahjb...Ah—! Okay."
____________________________
"This version of Sun is even sillier than the one we know." Blake observed. Though she held a small smile at Suniplier's goofiness.
"He's certainly a lot more bubbly than Vanoss and her friends." Weiss added. "Suniplier reminds me a bit of Ruby in a way."
"I don't talk in gibberish." Ruby almost indignantly replied to Weiss.
"It's the childishness that I'm referring to." Weiss stated. "It's almost identical."
"Oh. Yeah, I guess you're kind of right." Ruby relented.
"Kind of?" Weiss parroted as she turned to Ruby.
"Take the win, Weiss." Yang advised her teammate. "That's as far as you'll get on that topic."
____________________________
Settling down for a split second, Sun then reached the hammer onto the top-most branch on the right side of the tree. Once it was there, Sun pushed down on the hammer, resulting in his character to fly over the top of the tree as he now flung towards a pile of large boulders of varying types; of which one had a single branch sticking out from its top.
"Aha! Oh-haha! You can't beat me!" Sun declared as he widely swung his climbing hammer up the boulders and the branch; easily passing them with much vigor.
____________________________
"Decently proficient." Port complimented Suniplier. "For playing a video game, anyway."
"Almost makes you wonder if something like this is accomplishable in real life." Tai pondered.
____________________________
However, once Sun was beginning to pass over the top boulder, an elegant, accented voice began to speak in the game.
"There's no feeling more intense than starting over." The voice said, causing Sun to pause as he scrunched his face up in confusion. "If you've delayed your homework the day before it was due, as I have, or left your wallet at home and you have to go back, after spending an hour in the commute."
____________________________
"What's with the surprise narrator?" Mercury asked.
"That is the voice of the game's creator, Bennet Foddy, himself." Vortech confirmed for his audience.
"The creator of the game chose to have himself as the narrator?" Sienna questioned as she glanced back at Vortech. "For what purpose is a narrator required for this game?"
"You'll see." Vortech replied as he cast the screen a knowing look.
____________________________
As the voice of Bennet Foddy continued, Sun silently swung his character off of the boulder as he than landed before a tall mountain side of even more boulders. And as Foddy continued, Sun tried to launch his character up along the new boulders; trying to hook on to an orange paddle that had been wedged nearly a story and a half above him.
"If you won some money at the casino and then put all your winnings on red, and it came up black, if you got your best shirt dry-cleaned before a wedding and then immediately dropped food on it, if you won an argument with a friend and then later discovered that they just returned to their original view, starting over is harder than starting up."
____________________________
"Sounds like my entire life." Qrow muttered with slight disdain.
"Hmm. Even though none of us were expecting this narrator, I have to say that he does sound somewhat insightful." Oobleck mused as he gave thought to the narrator's words.
"Yeah. I hate being forced right back to the beginning of something." Ruby said while shaking her head. "It's so annoying. Especially if you're towards the end of whatever it is you're doing."
In the meantime, Weiss furrowed her eyes as she focused on the orange paddle. "What is with the paddle being stuck out of the mountainside like that?" She thought to herself.

As Foddy continued some more, Sun still tried to launch his character up along the new boulders; trying to hook on to the orange paddle.
"If you're not ready for that, like if you've already had a bad day then what you're about to go through might be too much. Feel free to go away and come back. I'll be here."
"Wha—wait, what? Huh?!" Sun questioned. "Are you telling me that I'm about to have a bad time?!"
____________________________
"At least he was considerate enough to give players a warning ahead of time." Pyrrha pointed out. "That's considerate of Mr. Foddy."
In response to Pyrrha's words, Vortech gave an disgruntled grunt as he looked off to the side and muttered. "Oh, let's see you call it considerate as the video goes on."
____________________________
"Alright, thank you for coming with me on this trip." Foddy spoke.
"I don't like this." Sun stated with a wincing look.
"I'll understand if you have to take a break at any point..."
As Foddy said this, Sun had been able to launch his character up the first landing rock, before immediately swinging up towards the paddle. He was able to hook his hammer at the paddle's edge, but had swung too fast and too recklessly, causing Sun to launch all the way back as he hit against the side of the previous boulders.
"Ah!" Sun exclaimed at how fast he had swung himself back. "Heyhh! Aah-aha! Ah!"
____________________________
"Oof." Sun said with a small wince.
"That's what I was worrying about." Jaune grimaced. "He has to be careful with his swings, otherwise the controls are gonna screw him."
"That hammer definitely has a decent amount of knock back to it." Ilia pointed out. "This is starting to get a little more interesting."
Suniplier's still at the beginning of the climb." Yang pointed out with dismissive wave of her hand. "Things aren't too bad just yet."
____________________________
"Just find a safe place to stop, and quit the game. Don't worry, I'll save your progress, always. Even your mistakes."
____________________________
"And I spoke too soon." Yang said with a deadpan expression.
"Oh... that's harsh." Jaune said as he cringed at the thought of things getting worse for Suniplier.
"Wha—Why would he do that?" Pyrrha asked in bewilderment.
"Now I'm more intrigued." Cinder mused as she focused more on the video.
"Yikes. Suddenly I'm feeling a little less confident." Sun said as his mood began to sour a bit with worry.
____________________________
"Okay." Sun spoke with mild uncertainty as he tried to swing himself back up to the paddle. He gave a mighty launch up back to the platform rock, but immediately ended up launching himself backwards just as swiftly. "Oh, my God. Ah. Oh-ho! Oh-hohohoaho! Aha! Okay. It's just an educational experience! I've got to learn before I can crawl, right?"
____________________________
"That would be one way of putting it." Oobleck said. "Though crawling is usually the easiest thing to learn."
"Yeah, this feels more like having to learn to run the moment you're born." Qrow chipped in.
____________________________
"Hyah!" Sun shouted as he launched up to the platform rock. In doing so, Sun now positioned his hammer so that he was firmly in place upon the rock, while being directly below the paddle. "Okay. From this vantage point I've got so much potential. Swong!"
Sun had then attempted to swing himself out, only to be now hanging from the rock instead.
____________________________
This failed action elicited some mild chuckling from many within the audience.
"Really, dude?" Sun said with a slight snicker. "Was that the best you could do?"
____________________________
"Okay." He said before attempting to launch himself up to the paddle from there. "Eh-Swong!"
However, Sun only fell back down to the bottom once more. "No. You're not swonging hard enough."
"Okay, all right. It's like spank the monkey." Sun said before launching himself upwards again. "OhAh!"
____________________________
'Maybe saying "swong" is just jinxing it for you.' Neo signed with a small, yet cheeky grin.
"You gotta swing with an exact consistency of speed and power. You can't half-ass it." Nora advised Suniplier. "Trust me. As the resident hammer user, I know my stuff."
"In fairness, you wield a hammer with a rocket booster built into it." Ren said to his partner.
"Hey, just because my hammer is souped up doesn't mean I still can't weigh in on hammer topics." Nora replied to Ren with crossed arms.
"Hold on. What the heck is spank the monkey?" Ruby asked with a perplexed look.
"It sounds like sex euphemism." Emerald said as she raised her eyebrow.
"Ew. I hope not." Ruby said as she stuck her tongue out in disgust.
"I'm pretty sure it's a computer game of sorts." Vortech said, albeit with an unsure tone. "Though as for what happens in it, I have no inkling of an idea."
____________________________
In doing so, Sun was just able to hook his hammer onto the edge of the rock.
"Ehugh..." Sun whimpered a bit before taking the initiative to swing up once more, this time hooking his hammer over the paddle as he then raised himself upon it. "Guh-oh-hoho-oh!"
____________________________
"Mmh. Yes. Quite riveting diction." Blake commented in regard to the many grunts and weird noises Suniplier was making. "Truly a wordsmith."
"Sometimes making a bunch of random noises helps in moments like these." Sun said with a shrug of his shoulders. "Helps to better manifest your focus."
"Well your counterpart was finally able to hook onto that paddle. So I suppose to have somewhat of a point." Blake replied, relenting a bit to Sun's odd logic.
____________________________
Once Sun now rested upon the paddle, he began to try and move up more along the mountainside. However, he found that, imbedded in the rock above him, was not only a dead tree, but also a turquoise and white stripped tool shed.
"Ohoho! What crazy island is this?" Sun exclaimed in surprise as he rested himself upon the uprooted trunk of the dead tree.
____________________________
The appearance of the tool shed on the mountain side caused many in the many to cast expressions of bewilderment at its utter weirdness. Though while most kept their confused thoughts to themselves, there were a few who simply could not keep their minds quiet about the subject.
"Okay, I kind of let the paddle slide, but a tool shed?" Weiss questioned with a very confused look.
"Who puts a tool shed on a mountain side?" Winter also asked. "I can't say I can speak on the inner workings of video games, but this? What's the point of it?"
"Bennet Foddy must have been having fun with putting in a bunch of random assets." Jaune surmised. "Probably did it so the game was more visually interesting than just climbing stone and rock. Might even make it slightly more challenging too."
"It's certainly a... unique idea." Ren said as he titled his head at the screen.
"I'm definitely not complaining." Sun said as he shrugged his shoulders. "It helps makes the climb feel more adventurous. It's an odd kind of adventure, sure, but I think it's fun."
____________________________
"This game is a homage to a free game that came out in 2002, titled 'Sexy Hiking'." Bennett Foddy then spoke.
As Foddy spoke, Sun attempted to try and climb up the sideways tool shed, only to end up bouncing back as a result and hooking back down to the paddle. "Huoh-No!!"
____________________________
"Oh, what the hell?" Sun asked as he threw his hands towards the screen in shock.
"Hehe. Man it's like there was almost no friction to the top of the shed." Mercury said with a chuckle.
"Yep. Definitely also added it to increase the difficulty." Jaune nodded as his initial assumption had validated. "And varying levels of friction throughout the climb is definitely gonna make things worse."
____________________________
Sun held a frozen look of unease as he silently began to climb back up to the dead tree.
"The author of the game was Jazzuo, a mysterious Czech designer who was known at the time as the father of B-games. B-games are rough assemblages of found objects."
Sun had gotten up to the dead tree again as he gave a second go at trying to climb up the tool shed. He was more careful in this attempt, but Sun ended up falling back down to the paddle again.
"Uh-Uuooh!" Sun exclaimed as he tried to swing back up from the paddle like he had before. However, he swung out too early, and ended up following all the way down to the ground. "UuoAAAHhh!"
____________________________
Many laughed a bit at this sudden series of failure committed by Suniplier in his attempt to get back to his earlier position.
"Ohh-hohoho, I'm liking this." Roman said with a humored and toothy smirk.
"Ah, dude, come on! You can't rush it!" Sun shouted to his counterpart.
____________________________
"Designers slap them together very quickly and freely, and they're often too rough and unfriendly to gain much of a following. They're built more for the joy of building them than as polished products."
Sun let out a frustrated wince as he put on his best, bright smile. Without a word, he went back to climbing the mountainside; getting so far as to hook his hammer over the rock above the paddle.
"Are they? Ohohohoho..." Sun questioned Foddy with an obviously peeved smile. Sun then tried to swing his hammer out in order to get it to latch down onto the paddle, only to swing out too far and fall back to the ground. "AaHh! Ohh... God dammit. Okay."
____________________________
"Hehe. He's already letting the falls get to him." Nora giggled.
"If he's getting this stressed already, God knows what that might mean in the long run." Blake said with an amused smile.
"Vortech did say that we'd see this version of Sun hog through a rough time." Ruby pointed out. "I hope it won't be all too bad for him, though."
"It's not the climb that's gonna get to him. He's allowing Bennet Foddy's narration to affect him too." Yang said with a knowing grin. "I'm no sadist, but it's kind of funny. It's also nice not to be the one having an extreme anger-induced breakdown for once."
"Well that's a lovely vote of confidence." Sun dryly said as he glanced over at Yang.
"Sorry, dude. I'm just being honest." Yang shrugged in response.
"You know, speaking of Mr. Foddy, I have to say that I am quite interested in his talk about these B-video games." Penny stated. "I do not know much about video games, so it is intriguing to learn that there are varying levels to the types they come in."
"Yes. If nothing else it is slightly informative." Weiss admitted. "Though I cannot say that I am going to use much of this knowledge in the future."
____________________________
"Alright. Okay." Sun tried to calm himself before attempting to lunge up. "AaAhAhuOhh!"
However, the lunge was a short lived one as he didn't even reach the first platform rock.
____________________________
"That was the most pathetic lunge I have ever seen." Cinder muttered with a mild shake of her head.
"Pfft. Okay. That one got me." Sun chuckled along with others in the audience.
"It's the yell followed by the immediate failure that's doing it." Tai chuckled as well. "It's perfect, accidental, timing."
____________________________
"AhahAohh..." Sun gave a tired whine as he swung his hammer around, back and forth, in an attempt to get back up the mountainside. "Ah. Aeouh. Argh! OhhhAAgHh!"
Sun then positioned himself to the back of the boulder pile as he tried to see if getting a better distance would help. "Okay, well... ho-boy. Ah. I was right, the burning hot fire rage in my heart is gonna get me through... THIS! AghuAIh!"
With his mighty yell, Sun leapt up the mountainside, swinging his hammer swiftly and precisely. It was within a few seconds that Sun found himself faced with the tool shed once more. However, the moment he hit his hammer against the tool shed roof, Sun was knocked back down.
"NO!!" Sun shouted as his hammer hooked onto the paddle as he fell. Silently, Sun swung himself back up, and in this attempt he was much closer to surpassing the tool shed. He was able to just hook it onto the top edge of the shed's roof, but it unfortunately slid off, causing Sun to fall directly onto the paddle. "No. Ooh-! Ah!"
____________________________
"Gah! You were so close that time." Sun said as he sagged a bit.
"I feel like Sun's counterpart is being a bit too antsy." Weiss observed. "Obviously the shed is an issue, but he needs to better place his hammer strikes."
____________________________
"Okay..." Sun quietly whispered as he tried to swing himself up. Unluckily for Sun, though, his hammer bounced upon the rocky wall of the mountainside, sending him flying backwards. "AAAAAAHHHH!"
"Oof, you just lost a lot of progress. That's a deep frustration, a real punch in the gut."
Sun leaned back in his chair, scratching his face for a moment before flinging the blanket off from his shoulder as he replied to Foddy. "Oh, is it? Oh, is it, now? Oh, is it a punch in the gut? Oh, is it? Oh, you don't know nothing about gut-punching, mister. You don't even have a gut! You're just in a... freakin' cauldron!"
____________________________
"Hehehehe. He's starting to lose it." Qrow said with a chuckle.
"I'm starting to get some serious déjà vu from when Yang was younger." Tai muttered to himself.
"You know, I can't say I can blame Suniplier, here." Yang said, shaking her head with an understanding expression. "Especially with that Foddy guy picking an inconvenient time to program himself saying the obvious."
"I think it was deliberate." Jaune chipped in.
"Which just makes Foddy an even bigger jackass." Yang replied.
"I mean, it's not like Foddy is being mean or insulting with his dialogue." Ruby stated to her sister. "It's not that bad."
"It's the fact that he's so calm about it that makes it angering." Yang retorted. "It almost sounds condescending with the way he talked. It's honestly worse that way."
____________________________
As Sun retorted to Foddy, he was able to get himself back up to the point where his hammer was once more hooked over the rock above the paddle.
"A witch got halfway through brewing you and you-you think you can—." As Sun continued, he tried to swing his hammer down to the paddle so that he might lift himself up. But in his swing, he overshot its angle, swinging outside of the paddle's range. To Sun's fortunes, he was able to swing back in time so that he wouldn't fall, but the situation had caused him to grow a wary face. "...stand here, and... tell me who I really am!"
____________________________
"Dude, calm down." Sun warned his counterpart. "You gotta take a breath and focus."
"Who wants to bet that this guy's gonna be stuck at the start for nearly the whole video?" Mercury questioned with a snide look.
"Eh. Maybe he won't be there that long." Emerald said before waving her hand in a fifty-fifty motion. "Maybe at least for half the video."
____________________________
After a few small swings, Sun was now directly hooked onto the paddle as cooled down a bit. "Okay... relax the grip. Ah."
With a calm tone, Sun was able to swing himself up to the dead branch without much issue.
"And thusly... there's a time for quick movements and then there's a time for gentle relaxation." Sun calmly said as he got ready to try and scale the shed's roof once more. "Ah..."
Sun held a frozen, wincing, yet anticipating look as he tried to hook his hammer onto the shed and slowly raise himself up from there. However, the shed's roof was not something he could scale so easily as his hammer slid down.
"Ooh!" Sun exclaimed as his cauldron-saddled character now tilted on the edge of the dead tree. "Okay..."
____________________________
"At least he's starting to learn to play it safe." Glynda said. "Though it did take quite a number of failures before he got to this point."
"Aggravating failures to be precise." Port said as he raised his finger.
"As great of a teacher failure is, no one ever said it was a kind teacher." Ozpin stated with a neutral expression.
____________________________
Though the moment he tried to raise himself to a more level position, Sun slid once more, falling off the edge of the dead tree. Luckily, he was able to hook onto the tee before anything frustrating occurred.
"Oh-Ah!" Sun exclaimed as the slide. Once more, his mouth was agape as he hung from the dead tree. It was here, that with another mighty shout, Sun launched himself upwards. "Oh-AieAha!"
And, to his delight, he was finally able to hook over the roof of the tool shed.
"Haha!" Sun proudly laughed before he attempted to swing upwards; continuing his momentum.
____________________________
"Yes!" Sun exclaimed with a bright smile. "Finally!"
"How joyous." Penny said, sharing in Sun's excitement.
"Took him long enough." Ilia muttered as she glanced off to the side.
"Now we can finally move past this area and see more of the mountain." Nora said with almost relieved look.
"Not necessarily." Ren pointed out. "If Suniplier was having this much difficulty with one starting obstacle, the ones ahead can only be challenging from here on."
"Woah, woah. Hey! Don't ruin this moment for me." Sun chastised Ren, pointing his finger in Ren's direction. "Let me have this."
"I'm just saying." Ren replied with a shrug.
____________________________
However, a new obstacle was in his way; a tall, pointed boulder. Sun had made a swing towards the boulder, but it missed its mark by a small margin. The result was that his hammer bounced off the boulder, sending Sun back towards the shed.
"Ah!" Sun exclaimed as he now hung from the shed. However, there was still a chance for him to come back from this error as he had yet to fall from the shed's roof. And so, Sun would attempt to launch himself.
____________________________
"No, no, no, no. Don't mess this up, dude." Sun warily said to his counterpart. "You just got past that shed. Don't fall back down!"
"For his own sake, he better hope he doesn't keep running into the issue of failing to get past every new obstacle." Sienna said in regard to Suniplier. "Otherwise it will just be a never ending cycle of torment for him."
"I for one am actually enjoying his screw ups." Roman smirked with a quiet chuckle. "This is probably the happiest I've been for the past several viewings."
____________________________
"Aiuh-! No!" He shouted as instead of swinging himself up, Sun accidentally pulled his hammer back, causing him to fall from the shed and back onto the dead tree.
____________________________
"No!" Sun shouted with an agonized look, throwing his hands to the air. "Why?! You had it!"
Yang let out a sympathetic sigh as she glance back at Sun. "I feel ya, man."
"Oof. You hate to see it." Emerald said, shaking her head with a humored look.
"While I can't say I take any pleasure in Suniplier's failings, his reactions are kind of amusing." Pyrrha sheepishly said with a giggle.
"His bombastic nature, while... very odd at times, does help to really sell his responses to everything." Weiss admitted as she herself had a bit of a smile on her face.
____________________________
"Okay. Alright. You sack of shit." Sun said in a humming manner as he pushed himself off the tree so that he could hook onto it like before. And just like before, he attempted to launch himself over the shed. "Guh!"
However, that attempt resulted in painful failure. Sun missed the hooking point for the shed by just an inch, and in his attempt to quickly launch himself upward, the lack of friction for the shed's roof only sent him flying backwards.
"NOoO-Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho!!" Sun exclaimed with a pain-filled expression as he fell all the way back down to the ground.
____________________________
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Sun groaned as he leaned back his head to stare at the ceiling with an annoyed look.
"You hate to see it." Jaune said with a solemn expression.
"I'd hate to be going through the situation that this Suniplier is going through." Pietro said with a concerned look. "I like to think of myself as generally calm, but to go through something like this? I fear even my sanity would faulter from it."
____________________________
With a hissing intake of air, Sun scrunched his fingers up in a grabbing-like position before he rubbed his hand down the back of his neck. "Okay. Alright! Okay, this is how you're gonna be, huh? Argh!"
Sun then launched himself back up to the first platform rock, his hammer hooking onto it. "Okay. Okay."
However, his character ended up making a poor swing upwards, not only missing the paddle, but knocking into the the rock below it as well. It resulted in Sun flying backwards again.
"No!! Why is that the thing you do?!" Sun whined as he flung himself up to the rock again. He was able to hit the edge of the first rock and launch himself higher this time, but to Sun's dismay he flung himself up at a backwards angle, missing the paddle as he fell back down. "AAh! I'm left flailing! I'm just left flailing! UuUnh!"
____________________________
"I feel as though this video game falls under the category of cruel and unusual punishment." Winter said as she was being to be put off by the struggle Suniplier was going through.
"That's actually an apt description for this game." Vortech said with a peeved look. "I tested it out myself once... the mental pain was violently excruciating."
"Is the game really that bad?" Ozpin asked as he turned to look at Vortech.
"I'm lucky enough to not have any severe trauma from the experience. But it was very taxing." Vortech said with an exasperated sigh. "As amusing as it is to watch someone else fail and suffer at this game, I can't help but to feel pity for them all the same."
____________________________
Sun launched himself at the rock again, this time landing on it. In his momentum, he tried to swing up to the paddle, but it was another poor swing that sent him falling to the ground again.
"God dammit." Sun quietly spoke as he moved himself back for better angle. "Oh Go—Mmmh! Okay! Alright! I gotta get up this goddamn mountain!! Oh, my God!"
As Sun flung his character around in his short rage, he paused himself at the foot of the mountain side. He then brought his face closer to his monitor screen to analyze the character a bit better. "Is that sweat coming off my body? The-the water thing. What is that? Am I in a cauldron of water? Also, why?"
____________________________
"Why is this a thing he's focusing on now?" Cinder asked as she raised her eyebrow. "Is he that desperate to keep his mind off of his shortcomings, or is he scattered-brained from all of his frustration?"
"Why not both?" Blake suggested.
"He does raise an interesting question, however." Penny pointed out as she began analyzing the character and the cauldron. "The character would naturally sweat from all of this climbing, but there is definitely some form of liquid in the cauldron. So there is also a decent chance that Suniplier's character is indeed wet from water."
"It's a small, but nice attention to detail on Foddy's part." Jaune said as he nodded his head.
____________________________
"Eraugh! Ahuhuh!" Sun gave another shout as he launched himself up, hooking over the paddle. "Okay. Okay..."
Sun then tried to swing himself up from the paddle, but ended up moving backwards against the rocky wall. Fortunately he was just as quickly able to make the correct swing up the paddle.
"No. No, no, no, no. Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" Sun said as he was now on a swinging momentum back up to the shed. However, instead of clearing his way over the shed, he he barely missed the hooking point again as he bounced back off to the ground. "No! No!! ...NOOO!!"
____________________________
"Hahahaha!" Ruby laughed loudly whilst eating some popcorn. "I'm sorry but... hehe, this is too funny. He keeps falling backwards every time he gets some amount of progress."
"Two steps forward, one step back." Ren stated with an amused look. "Not only is the area difficult to climb, but Suniplier clearly keeps getting into his own head too often, thus causing him to fail more than he should."
"On the one hand, yeah it's kind of funny." Sun admitted. "But on the other, I really want to get past this point already."
"Yeah, I'm getting a bit annoyed by that too." Nora admitted. "I want to see more of the mountain! Plus, the sight of this hurts my hammer-loving soul. I'm about to call for his hammer license to be revoked if this keeps happening."
"I don't think they have licenses for hammer, Nora." Ren replied to his partner.
"I said what I said." Nora firmly stated, crossing her arms and raising her chin up in a prissy manner.
____________________________
The video then cut forward to where, not only had Sun overcome the shed, he had also climbed over the point-tipped boulder.
____________________________
"Thank god!" Sun exclaimed before letting out a sigh of relief.
"Hmm... he can keep his hammer license for now." Nora said with narrowed eyes.
"I guess he didn't want his viewers watching him struggle in that same area for so long." Ilia surmised before taking a sip of her drink.
"Makes sense. As funny as him messing up is, you still want to see him make progress." Yang said, nodding her head before mischievously smirking. "Though it makes me wonder what the extended cut looks like."
"I sure as hell don't." Sun said with a frown.
____________________________
"Haha!" Sun cheered his success as he now moved forward to try and climb up a large pipe that laid before him. "Okay. Made it! Made it this far! And that's good! IuUh! IUh-Ehooh!"
Sun had tried to launch himself upwards to get upon the top of the pipe. But he only ended up going straight up and straight back down instead of moving forward.
____________________________
"Watch it!" Sun chastised his counterpart as he began to worry once more.
"Here we go again." Mercury muttered with a smirk.
"I'm actually starting to feel a little nervous every time he fails at a swing like that." Tai admitted with a cringed expression. "I know that it's most likely too early to start worrying about Suniplier now, but given everything we just saw..."
"Indeed. It's quite concerning how easy it is for him fail this climb." Oobleck spoke in agreement with Taiyang.
____________________________
"No." Sun said as he tried to figure out what angle he should launch himself from. "Made it this far and that's good. Ah! Uh!"
Sun then successfully launched himself towards the pipe, being able to hook onto it as he then launched himself up towards the ledge above; of which two barrels rested upon. But just as Sun swung for the ledge, Bennett Foddy spoke again.
"In a certain way, Sexy Hiking is the perfect embodiment of a B-game."
Just as Foddy spoke, Sun had not only launched himself up to the ledge, but he was able to hook over the first barrel as well. However, the surprise of Foddy speaking caused Sun to lose his concentration as he ended up unhooking from the barrel and falling back down to the pointed boulder.
"AAAAAHHhh!!" Sun shouted as he fell. However, as he held another frozen and agape jaw, Sun silently launched himself back towards the pipe, landing on it.
____________________________
"NOO!!" Sun shouted in annoyance. "Damn you, Foddy!"
"Wow. Bennett Foddy really knows how to be immensely inconvenient with dialogue timing." Blake said as she held a frozen look that almost matched the one Suniplier had at the moment.
"Oh, dude. I would have smashed something then and there if Foddy surprised me like that and caused me to fall." Yang stated with a slightly peeved look. "That is not cool."
"Hmm. It depends on how easily surprised one gets." Pyrrha said. "I for one wasn't all that phased by Mr. Foddy suddenly speaking. Though I can see how others wouldn't share the same case."
"I wish I couldn't get surprised or jump-scared." Yang replied to Pyrrha. "Unfortunately I'm not what you'd refer to as super vigilant."
____________________________
"It's almost entirely out of found and recycled parts, and it's one of the most unusual and unfriendly games of its time."
Sun let out a sigh as he gave his camera a knowing glance. As Foddy continued speaking, Sun attempted to launch himself up to the ledge. But in doing so, he only hit the ledge's edge, causing him to bounce off as he fell backwards towards the hooking point of the shed. "Uuh-!"
____________________________
"Really?" Sun groaned out as he held an almost livid look.
"Oh, not back to the shed." Nora groaned out as well. "We just got past this nonsense."
"It seems Mr. Foddy was not required for Sun's counterpart to badly mess up again." Weiss said as she shook her head. "This is starting to become a little sad."
____________________________
"In it, your task is simply to drag yourself up a mountain with a hammer. And that act of climbing, in the digital world or in real life, has certain essential properties that give the game its flavor."
Once again, Sun found himself trying to climb up to the pointed boulder. But with every forward swing he took, he ended up hitting an angle that bounced him back two times; only falling off the shed on the second attempt. "Uh! Uh! Uooh! Uh!"
____________________________
"Man, he finally had it." Sun said with a disappointed look. "If it wasn't for Foddy distracting him like that, he would have gotten up further by now."
"Are you sure it's entirely Foddy's fault?" Blake questioned Sun. "I feel as though your counterpart was mostly responsible for that swing right before Foddy talked again."
"The other me would have been more able to focus his swing if Foddy didn't talk at that moment." Sun firmly stated. "So I'm blaming Foddy."
____________________________
"No amount of forward progress is guaranteed; some cliffs are too sheer or to too slippery. And the player is constantly, unremittingly in danger of falling and losing everything."
"Huh." Sun exhaled as he got himself back up to the pointed boulder. Though he got himself up to the pipe, Sun ending up knocking himself back to the pointed rock, much to his concern. "Ah-Ooh!"
____________________________
"This is both funny and sad to watch, all at the same time." Nora said with humored, yet frustrated expression. "We really gotta watch him struggle through bottom section again!"
'So far I give his performance a C-.' Neo signed with a disapproving look.
"I'm sure Suniplier can get past the shed again." Pyrrha said, albeit with slight uncertainty in her tone. "He just has to remember the right amount of power he needs in his swings."
"And how long do you think that's gonna take?" Sun asked as he turned to Pyrrha with a dry look.
Pyrrha tried to give an answer to Sun, but quickly found herself unable to provide as response she could confident in. "Umm... Uuhhh..."
____________________________
Sun then swung himself back up, not only reaching the pipe, but he was also able to reach the barrels upon the cliff above it. "Ahooh! Ahahaha!"
Though in attempting to get himself up to the makeshift rock steps that lay above him, Sun accidentally pushed himself off as he fell back to the roof of the shed. "NOOOO!! I was there!!"
____________________________
Pyrrha winced at the screen as she cast Sun a sympathetic look. "Well... at least he did get further than before."
"And he choked right away!" Nora complained with an annoyed look.
"...Are you serious?" Sun asked with a look of both sheer bafflement and astonishment towards his counterpart. "You had it. It was your best attempt yet... and you screw it up. How?"
"I mean, hey, at least we can give him credit for that swing." Yang pointed out in an attempt to give some credit to Suniplier.
"As much as I would like to compliment that swing, it is quickly under-minded by his immediate screw up." Weiss stated as she shook her head.
____________________________
In his grief, Sun began to accidentally move his hammer around in ways that he did not appreciate as it would mean he would fall off from the shed. "No! No! Stop! Stop moving!"
____________________________
"You're the one controlling it, ya goof!" Sun shouted at the screen as concern quickly flooded his face.
"Now Suniplier is making me antsy." Ruby said as she too held a wary look towards the screen.
"It's hopeless for him if he messes up here." Ilia said as she crossed her arms.
"This guy is like a living accident waiting to happen." Emerald said as she raised her eyebrow in bewilderment.
"Heh. I ain't complaining." Mercury chuckled a bit as his rested his hands behind his head.

Regaining control of the situation, Sun began to make his way back up to the barrels. "Uahh... Uahh... AHH!! Where am I?? Uh! No! Stop! Barrels... help me!"
Getting himself behind the barrels, Sun tried to collect his thoughts as he took in deep breaths. "Oh, God. Okay. Alright. Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huoh..."
____________________________
Sun let out a sigh of frustrated relief once Suniplier stopped at the barrels, choosing to say nothing as he was simply glad that his counterpart finally got back up to his earlier position.
"Taking a break is probably the smartest move this man has made thus far on this fumbled trek." Sienna remarked.
"Yeah. He really needs a moment to rest and think about his next move." Tai said.
"Whatever he plans on doing next, hopefully it will yield more success than his previous attempts." Glynda said as she shook her head. "Otherwise we'll all still be stuck watching him struggle through this lower section of the mountain."
____________________________
It was then that Sun began to steady himself upon the barrels as he tried to get up to the makeshift rocky steps above himself. "Like a monk. Ah... Gentle as the moon glows. Gentle as the summer breeze. Ah."
With a sense of serenity, Sun launched himself up to the makeshift steps, hooking past a single coffee cup that lay upon the first step. "Oh, yeah."
____________________________
"There we go. That's the strategy." Sun said with a smile.
"Looks like someone's gotten back into the 'swing' of things, eh?" Yang remarked with a toothy smirk, nudging Blake's arm.
Blake let out a groan of annoyance whilst Ruby shook her head at her sister's pun. "No, Yang. No."
"Yes, Yang. Yes." Yang replied back to Ruby with a proud grin.
____________________________
Sun then began to launch himself up the steps, knocking off the coffee cup in the process. But just as he launched up, Foddy's voice surprised him, causing Sun to jolt and accidentally knock himself back down again.
"Anyway when you start Sexy Hiking, you're standing next to a tree, which blocks the way to the entire rest of the game."
"AAAAHHHH!!" Sun gave out a blood curdling scream as he fell down to the pointed boulder. With a wide mouthed look of anguish, Sun leaning back in his chair as he brought his hands to forehead. "Ohh!! Oh!!"
____________________________
Many in the theater laughed or winced at Suniplier's accidental screw up. However there was one in the audience who was growing slowly ever more livid towards the video.
"Foddy..." Sun ground out through his teeth.
"Okay... I can see how Foddy was kind of responsible for that one." Blake said as she tried to hold herself back from giggling.
"And he was beginning to do so well too." Penny said as she cast a sympathetic look at the screen.
____________________________
Reeling back from his initial defeat, Sun began to make his trek back up as Foddy continued speaking.
"It might take you an hour to get over that tree. A lot of people never got past it. You prod and poke at it, exploring the limits of your reach and strength, trying to find a way up. And there's a sense of truth in that lack of compromise."
Sun now held a mildly annoyed look as he found himself between the pointed rock and the pipe.
____________________________
"...Is this guy seriously starting to get philosophical on us?" Sun asked as he still held a crossed look.
"Huh. An unexpected talk of philosophy in a video game." Ren mused. "Interesting."
"Woah. Woah. Wait. I'm here to watch a guy struggle to get up a mountain. I didn't sign up to be preached to." Mercury said as he began to frown.
____________________________
"Most obstacles in video games are fake—you can be completely confident in your ability to get through them; once you have the correct method or the correct equipment, or just by spending enough time."
As Foddy said this, Sun was able to launch himself up to the barrels again; aiming to swing for the rocky steps next. But, alas, he fell down once more, landing between the pointed rock and the pipe. "Uuh..."
____________________________
Sun shared in his counterpart's expression as he began rubbing his forehead in frustration; muttering to himself. "He had it. He was starting to get into a rhythm. And then Foddy had to go and screw things up... so this is what it feels like when I mess with Neptune during his gaming sessions. I think I owe him an apology... ...Nah, I'll still mess with him, it's too funny not to."
____________________________
However, Sun only felt further pain when he accidentally flung himself back to the roof of the shed. "NOOO!!!"
____________________________
Sun slapped his forehead in frustration as some of the audience members laughed or awkwardly chuckled at Suniplier's predicament.
"He just can't get past this area." Jaune said as he pointed his hand towards the screen with a sheepish grin.
"How does this keep happening?" Weiss questioned with a baffled look.
"I want to feel bad for him but... it is kind of funny." Ruby said with a bit of nervous chuckle.
"I think he might need to customize his control settings." Yang said with a laugh. "He clearly isn't doing well with how his controls are now."
____________________________
"In that sense, every pixelated obstacle in Sexy Hiking is real."
"Oh." Sun uttered as he got himself back up to the barrels, attempting to once again get up the steps. But, once again, he ended up flinging himself down to the shed, almost falling off of their too. "NOOOO!! WHATDIDYOUDO?!"
"Uff... Sorry about that."
____________________________
"Oh, now you're sorry?" Sun asked as his eyes darted at the screen.
"I guess Bennet Foddy has responses for whenever someone fails." Ren mused. "Well, when someone fails enough."
"It's a pretty measly sorry, all things considered." Ilia said with a bit of mirth in her tone.
____________________________
Sadly, Sun accidentally unhooked his hammer from the shed's roof, causing him to fall down to the dead tree.
"NOO!!" Sun cried in frustrated anguish as he rapidly tried to get himself back up. "HOLD ON, HOLD ON! HOLD ON! Hold on! Hold on! Ohh! Ohh!! Ouhh! Uohh! AaAh!"
Sun, now having gotten back up in between the pointed boulder and the pipe, began to breath heavily as he rubbed his forehead again. "Oh, my God. Oh... OhAh!"
____________________________
"I feel as though this young man is about to go through an aneurism." Pietro said with worry in his voice.
"I think he might need a therapy session after this." Glynda said with a more neutral expression. "I know I would if I had to suffer through similar circumstances."
"With the amount of rage this man is letting out, I wouldn't be surprised if he could attract an entire pack of Grimm." Ironwood remarked, holding a mild look of surprise in regard to Suniplier's anger.
____________________________
Sun then launched up to the pipe, taking several swings in an attempt to get up to the barrels. "Ueiagh! Ueiagh! Aeihh!"
Sun succeeded in his endeavor as he now tried to launch up to the steps again. "Ah... Eihh! OaAh! OaAhh!"
But, once more, Sun knocked himself back down, falling all the way back to the dead tree. "NOOOOOOOO!!"
____________________________
"Okay, this is just getting too repetitive." Sun said with a dry tone, his frustration subsiding into mild annoyance.
"It's beginning to border on insanity at this point." Blake added on in agreement with Sun.
"You'd think he would remember to relax himself after every leap, so as to not suffer the same failure over and over again." Cinder commented with her eyebrow raised.
'I'm surprised he hasn't quit yet.' Neo signed.
"It's either extreme stubbornness, or extreme stupidity." Roman replied to Neo before taking a smoke of his bubble cigar. "But honestly it's just starting to get a little sad at this point. I'm almost considering about rooting for him to get past this area just so he can get it done with. And that's not a feeling I like having about that monkey kid."
____________________________
"Ah. It happened again. Keep on trying, don't let it get to you."
"I'm letting it get to me, sir!" Sun cried out as swung himself back up to the pointed boulder.
____________________________
"Really? I couldn't tell." Emerald spoke with sarcasm in her tone.
"I hope Mr. Suniplier will be able to get further up the mountain soon. I fear for his mental state." Penny said with a concerned look.
"Maybe he should get a massage after this." Ruby suggested. "I... don't actually know how much it would help with his stress, but I hear it can help."
"I'd usually take my anger out on punching and throwing stones or big tree branches." Yang said as she ate some popcorn. Though she then made an another suggestion, albeit one SS poked a bit under her breath. "Of course there's... other physical activities that can alleviate anger."
Hearing this, Ruby narrowed her eyes as she cast her sister a questioning look. "What other physical activities?"
"Trust me, Rubes, if you get the feeling... you'll know." Yang said as she patted Ruby's shoulder.
However this response only furthered Ruby's confusion. "What feeling?"
"I think I know what Yang's talking about." Blake said as glanced off to the side with a light tinge of pink on her cheeks. "And it's not something I'm comfortable with saying out loud."
"Wha-that still doesn't help." Ruby replied in slight annoyance to Blake.
"Just ignore them, Ruby." Weiss advised her partner. "I'm sure one of them can tell you at some later time, in private. Though it is most likely something vulgar."
Adhering to Weiss's advice, Ruby turned her head back to the screen as she took a sip of her soda. Though her thoughts still lingered on Yang's comment as she tried to come to the conclusion on her own. "...Were Yang and Blake talking about masturbating?"
____________________________
"Ah. Thunckle. Thunckle-think. Ooh, no you don't. I'm gonna get you. I've really got the hang of it! You get me... and my amazing humor?!" Sun spoke as he now got himself back to makeshift stone steps. "Hoh, boy."
____________________________
"Thuckle-think?" Winter incredulously asked. "How does someone come up with such nonsense words?"
"It's either that he's using humor as a defense mechanism for his stress, or he's losing his mind even further." Sienna said.
"I'm beginning to wonder if his mind was all there to begin with." Winter muttered out as she continued to cast a bewildered look at Suniplier.
____________________________
Sun had then gotten himself higher up the steps, which ended with stone step extending more outwards than the stone Sun was attached to. However, as he tried to swing out to reach that stone step, Sun ending up falling down to the first stone step.
"No... oh. Hup!" He said as swung up, this time hooking onto the last stone step. "Ohh!! Yes! Wait. Yes. I'm on to something. I'm on to something. I'm on to this."
Currently above Sun, there was another set of stone steps that had been positioned out and away from the rest of the mountain side. These steps, while shorter in number, were larger in size. But Sun would use the bottom of the first step of these new makeshift stairs as a means to help slide himself forward.
"Eh... Eh... Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah." Sun happily and confident said as he now rested himself atop the last step of the first set of stone stairs. "Oh, dopamine is rushing through my brain. Oh, that feels good! How are you gonna make it feel bad?"
____________________________
"Yes. Yes! You're getting it now." Sun spoke with a happier tone as Suniplier was making more progress once again.
"He was getting it, until he jinxed it." Qrow remarked, shaking his head before drinking from his flask.
Hearing this, Sun's eyes widened as worry marked his face once more. "Oh, no... he's right."
"Come on, Sun. You can't seriously believe that whole jinxing thing actually happens." Blake said to Sun with a bland tone.
"I don't know, Blake. Remember how Ruby jinxed Hobbit-Roman when he was near the trolls?" Yang replied to Blake.
"Can we not bring that up again?" Roman asked in an annoyed and almost demanding tone.
"Vortech's already told us that these viewings are pre-logged." Blake said in rebuttal. "The incident with the trolls was always going to happen, regardless of what Ruby would have or would have not said."
"I don't know, Blake. I've seen some things happen because someone said the wrong thing at the wrong time." Yang replied as she glanced off to the side.
"There is such a thing as coincidence." Blake stated to her partner. "'Jinxing it' doesn't actual happen."
____________________________
As Sun said this, he tried to swing up to the next set of stairs. But as he tried to make it to the first step, his hammer ended up hooking to the bottom of it, causing Sun to fall down to the last step of the first stairwell.
"Oh! OoOooOoooAah!" Sun exclaimed with his mouth wide open in terrified concern; his face being enlarged to fill the viewing screen as he did so.
____________________________
"He did jinx it!" Sun exclaimed as he clasped his hands on the sides of his head in dread.
"So much for the dopamine." Ilia dryly remarked with a humored smirk.
Yang cast silent glance over to Blake, smirking with an 'I told you so' look.
"All that does is cement that Suniplier still hasn't learned how to perfect his swings." Blake retorted to Yang with a slightly agitated look. "Jinxing has nothing to do with it."
"Sure, Blake. Sure." Yang said with an almost demeaning smile.
"Don't push it Xiao Long." Blake warned Yang. "I know how to give you a bad hair day."
Yang lightly gasped as he grasped her golden locks, eyeing her Faunus partner with a glare. "You leave my hair out of this."
____________________________
"NOO!!" Sun shouted as he tried to angle his hammer up to reach the first step of the adjacent stairwell. "Uh! Wahoops. Wrong way. Wrong way. Ah. Ah."
Sun smiled as he carefully launched himself to the adjacent makeshift stairs. But the moment he landed on the first step, he accidentally knocked himself up into the air and back down to the previous step.
"No! Why do you keep doing that?" Sun asked as he began to get himself back up to the adjacent stairs, only to freak out as he accidentally hopped back and forth. "No, no. Stop. No! Stop! What are you doing?! What are you doing? Stop what you're doing, and don't do that thing that you're—."
____________________________
"Dude, you gotta calm down!" Sun shouted at the screen.
"How does he keep forgetting to steady himself after every swing?" Pyrrha asked with a shocked expression. "He just needs to take a moment to stop and plan his next move."
"He probably thinks he needs to speed-run it at some sections." Jaune suggested. "That's the only thing I can come up with at the moment."
"Yeah, I don't think being fast is doing him any favors." Ruby said as she munched down on one of her cookies.
____________________________
Just as Sun said this, he accidentally swung at the wrong angle, causing him to not only fall back down to the previous stairs, but to almost accidentally fall off the last step entirely.
"NOOOO!! No! No! No!!" Sun cried out as he slowly brought himself back onto the last step again. "No. No. How, and why did you do that thing you just did? Oh... Ah... Ah."
____________________________
"You. Are. The. One. Controlling. It." Sun slowly, yet sternly said once more. "I know this is supposed to be a hard game, but I'm very certain you're making it harder."
"I agree. While this lower section is clearly designed with some difficulty, most of Suniplier's problems thus far have been caused by his own scrambled actions." Ren stated. "He makes some of Nora's past decisions seem carefully planned out by comparison."
"All of my decisions are carefully planned out." Nora replied to Ren with a beaming smile. "I just have a quirky way of going about them."
"Quirky is... certainly a word to use to describe some of things you do." Ren said to Nora with an almost tired and uncertain look.
____________________________
Sun look physically exhausted as he rested himself back onto the last step. He then carefully launched himself onto the first step of the adjacent stairs. "Guh! Okay... Alright... We're good. We're good. We're good. We're good."
____________________________
"Okay. Now we're getting somewhere again." Sun said with a small sigh of relief.
____________________________
Sun then launched himself over to a small opening atop a large boulder on the right. He landed upon a garbage can that had two garbage bags situated beside it. "Eieh! Ooh! Okay. This is not where we're supposed to be, but I'll take it."
____________________________
"Yeah, I'd say we can take that as a momentary win." Sun said in agreement with his counterpart.
"Who puts a trash can and garbage bags on a mountain?" Pietro questioned.
"Ironically, considering some of the odd objects we saw towards the bottom, there's actually quite a decent chance one would find trash of some kind on a mountain." Oobleck stated.
"Never underestimate naive campers and their willingness to litter in the great outdoors." Port added on. "Of course... that's assuming the campers were not mauled or driven away by Grimm before they could properly rid of their garbage."
____________________________
Sun then freaked out a bit as his character jolted slightly off of the garbage can. Luckily, Sun was able to steadily situate himself to the left of the garbage can; angling out to the adjacent stairs.
"Eh-Uuh... You like to make sudden movements, don't ya? Bennet Fobbly!" Sun gravelly spoke to his character before launching himself up and out to the adjacent stone steps. He wobbled a bit as he landed on the second of the larger steps, but Sun was able to steady himself. "Eiuh-Uh! No-! Ooh..."
____________________________
"Haha! A fellow pun-smith. Yes!" Yang cheered at Suniplier's Bennet Fobbly joke.
"Noooo..." Sun said with a disappointed look cast upon his counterpart.
"And he was so handsome too." Blake thought in regard to Suniplier with an almost saddened expression as her Faunus ears dropped down.
____________________________
"The obstacles in Sexy Hiking are unyielding, and that makes the game uniquely frustrating."
As Sun became quiet at the sound of Bennett Foddy speaking, he proceeded to launch himself up and hooked his hammer onto a rusted, red I-beam that hung off from a very large slab of stone on the right.
"But I'm not sure Jazzuo intended to make a frustrating game—the frustration is just essential to the act of climbing and it's authentic to the process of building a game about climbing."
____________________________
"Hold on... is this guy starting to defend why he made his game to be frustrating?" Sun asked as he raised his brow at the screen.
"If nothing else, it is nice to hear a bit about what inspired him to make the game." Jaune offered with a shrug.
"I don't think the other wants to hear about that after everything he's been through." Sun replied with a dry look.
"While I cannot say Mr. Foddy is entirely wrong about his words on climbing, most climbing doesn't involve being stuck in a cauldron and having to climb over paddles, sheds, and I-beams." Ozpin said with an even tone.
"Speaking of I-beams, it looks like he's about to get up to the more creative parts of the mountain." Ironwood observed. "I wonder what will be next."
____________________________
Sun then tried to swing himself further along the I-beam. However, he ended up swinging back onto the second stone of the adjacent stairs as the result of not swinging up and around all the way. Sun winced at this as he tried to hook onto the I-beam again. But this did not go well.
With the hammer clanging twice against the I-beam, Sun accidentally launched high into the air
"Ah... He-huoohoho. Ah! Where am I going? No!" Sun shouted as fell back down to the second step of the adjacent stone stairs. He had nearly freaked out and sent himself falling further down, but Sun was able to steady himself before that could transpire.
____________________________
Sun cringed as he watched his counterpart struggle and almost fall. And even after Suniplier settled his character down, Sun was frozen, waiting for something bad to inevitably happened.
"Please don't fall, please don't fall, please don't fall." Ruby repeatedly pleaded with her eyes closed and her fingers crossed.
"Just how accident-prone is this guy?" Mercury asked. "Even I felt a little second-hand stress from that stunt."
"I'd almost equate it to a clumsy clown placed in a frustrating and perilous situation." Cinder said with a quieter tone. "It's pitiful, yet... grimly humorous in a way."
____________________________
"A funny thing happened to me as I was building this mountain: I'd have an idea for a new obstacle, and I'd build it, test it, and it would usually turn out to be unreasonably hard. But I couldn't bring myself to make it easier. It already felt like my inability to get past the new obstacle was my fault as a player, rather than as the builder."
____________________________
"And now he's insinuating it's the player's fault instead of his own for why the obstacles are hard." Sun stated as he crossed his arms and cast a peeved look at the screen.
"I mean he's not technically wrong... Suniplier has struggled a lot on what we are assuming is the easiest section of the mountain." Pyrrha said with an uneasy tone. "Though I would have worded it better than that."
"Oh, I get that." Sun replied. "But Foddy is clearly saying this in preparation for when things really hit the ceiling."
"In fairness, it has been stated that the intent of this video game is be increasingly difficult." Weiss said to the monkey Faunus. "He does have to make it challenging, regardless of how difficult it may get for any players."
"Well I'm gonna wait and see what other crap he has in store before I give Foddy some leeway." Sun retorted as he continued to stare at the screen, awaiting for when the climb would inevitably become crazier.
____________________________
Once more, Sun quietly situated himself on the second step before launching forwards towards the I-beam. As Sun landed on the I-beam, he had nearly slid off, but was luckily able to bring himself forward as be moved up the slanted stone the I-beam rested upon.
____________________________
"Don't start falling now." Roman said. "I just started getting invested in seeing you get further up the mountain."
'Go, Suniplier, Go!!' Neo wrote down on her sign as she now held it over her head in a sort cheerleader-like fashion.
____________________________
"Imaginary mountains build themselves from our efforts to climb them, and it's our repeated attempts to reach the summit that turns those mountains into something real."
"Are you being philosophical here?" Sun questioned Foddy as he got ready to attempt the next obstacle along the mountain; an upward air shaft within the stone above that had one lamp light on its left side and one lower lamp light on its right. "Are you being philosophical while I'm struggling my anus off?!"
____________________________
"Hehe. 'Struggling my anus off'. That's-that's one way of putting it." Mercury said as he chuckled.
"Fascinating. The previous attempt at philosophy was odd enough to hear before, but I had no idea it would get this insightful." Oobleck said as mused over Foddy's words.
"Uugghh. I don't want a lesson in philosophy." Nora groaned out. "Can't he just write this down in a book, instead of putting it in the game?"
"Forget the philosophy, what the hell with the air shaft?" Sun pointed out with baffled look.
"Eh?" Nora muttered before looking at the screen again. "Oh, yeah. That is an air shaft. Now that looks tricky."
"...Now I'm not saying this is going to be impossible, but... how is Suniplier meant to get up through there?" Pyrrha questioned with absolute confusion.
"Yeah, I think we let Suniplier off the hook if he struggles with this part." Blake said as stated at the screen with wide eyes. "That air shaft looks like it's going to be a pain."
____________________________
Sun sighed a bit as he tried to figure out how he would get himself up the air shaft.
"Okay... No. Ieah! Nope. Nope. That ain't it. That ain't the one. That ain't the way." Sun said as he struggled in his attempts in figuring out how to climb the air shaft. Eventually, he got to a position beneath the shaft from where he would launch himself upwards. "Euh! Eh!"
Once Sun had launched himself up, he attempted to hook onto the first lamp light, but fell short in doing so. But as Sun fell back down, he ended up sliding off a bit on the slanted stone, causing him to wince as he took a sharp inhale through his teeth.
____________________________
"Okay, let's maybe not fall back down again like that." Sun said as his face mimicked his counterpart's.
"Yeesh. How is Suniplier meant to get up that air shaft?" Jaune asked with a wince. "I'm not seeing how this could be feasible."
"Hmm... Upon analyzing the situation, it seems Mr. Suniplier must use speed and the right amount of force to constantly wedge himself up the shaft, going from right to left as he rests his hammer on one side of the wall with the pauldron placed against the opposite one." Penny said as her sensors calculated the required trajectory Suniplier would have to move up at.
"Huh. Yeah, that sounds like it could work." Sun as he went over the strategy in his head. "Though considering how this game works, and how the other me struggles with it, that's a lot easier said than done. Not that it really sounds all that easy to begin with."
____________________________
"When you're building a video game world you're building with ideas, and that can be like working with quick-set cement. You mold your ideas into a certain shape that can be played with, and in the process of playing with them they begin to harden and set until they're immutable, like rock. At that point you can't change the world—not without breaking it into pieces and starting fresh with new ideas."
____________________________
"And now the philosophy talk is about making video games... weird." Jaune said with a bewildered look.
"As odd as it is, I do have to admit that Bennet Foddy does know how to make it all sound intriguing." Ren said with a thoughtful glance at the screen. "Sometimes all it takes is the right words to garner interest in a subject no one previously considered before."
"Bah! It's just a bunch a fancy words he's using to try and make his game sound grander than it is." Nora said with a bored and dismissive tone. "If you ask me, he's just trying to stroke his own ego without being upfront about it."
"It still doesn't make him wrong, though." Ren pointed out.
"Maybe. But it doesn't mean I have to take it seriously." Nora retorted back.
____________________________
Sun made another attempt to launch himself up the air shaft, but fell short on hooking onto the lamp light again. This caused Sun to give a small growl in anger as he fell down.
However, Sun got an idea once he was able to rest his character upon a rock that lay at the end of the slanted stone. He smiled slightly as he hooked his hammer onto the left wall of the air shaft.
"Okay... just gotta pull myself up using... sheer... frictiony-friction." Sun said as he slowly began to lift himself up alongside the walls of the air shaft, but soon found out that the first lamp on the right wall was blocking his way. "Oh... you are an obstacle. Oh, no. Oh-oh. Eih. Ah."
____________________________
"Yeah, he's not gonna make it up the shaft like that." Tai said. "He's gonna have to launch himself up first so he can try and hook over that lamp."
"Though he's also gotta make sure he's swinging in a smaller arc." Qrow pointed out. "He can't go too wide in there, otherwise he's just gonna launch himself back down."
____________________________
Sun carefully then dropped himself back down onto the slanted stone, this time not sliding down, as he tried to figure out the air shaft once again. "Okay. Alright. Rethink this! Gotta think through this."
Sun leaned his head back as he then launched himself up into the shaft, this time reaching his hammer onto the first lamp light. From there, he was able to hook back and forth his way up the shaft until he now rested atop the first lamp light.
"AH! Ah-Yes! Yes-No! Yes! No! Yes! No! Yes! No! Yes!" Sun shouted again and again as he made his way up the air shaft, reaching to the top before hooking onto the outside of the stone that comprised the air shaft's left wall. "Yes!"
____________________________
"Alright!" Sun cheered as he clapped his hands. "That went surprisingly well."
"Just the way I thought it would go." Penny said with a bright smile.
"I'm genuinely shocked that he was able to get past the air shaft so quickly." Weiss said in slight amazement. "Though I find it strange how he struggled so much towards the bottom of the mountain compared to this part of it."
"He probably finally learned how to better manage the power he puts into his launches." Blake surmised. "At least I hope he did."
"Hey, regardless of whatever got him to this point, I'm just happy he was able to get through it without much difficulty." Sun said with a smile on his face.
____________________________
But as Sun tried to get into a more suitable position, he accidentally moved too far forward as he now rested right above the air shaft again.
"STOOOOP!!" Sun screeched out to his character before going silent, glancing around for a moment.
____________________________
Sun froze once more as a dreadful chill shot up his spine. "...Dammit, I jinxed it."
"Again, not how that works." Blake tried to remind Sun. "Your counterpart is just struggling to control the motion of his character again."
"Nah. He definitely jinxed it." Yang said with a toothy smirk.
"Shut up, Yang." Blake hissed out in a low tone as she glared at her partner.
____________________________
Sun then tried to move away from the top of the air shaft, only to fall down atop the second lamp light. After which he began to slowly get himself back to the outer left top of the air shaft. "No! No. Uh... I just wanna... very carefully... very carefully... set my ass down... right there."
Sun took a calm exhale as he rested himself atop the left side of the air shaft, slowly moving his hammer underneath his character. "This is where I could lose it all."
____________________________
"Okay, while I'm all for Suniplier psyching himself up, I don't think he should be doing that while moving his hammer." Ruby said in worry as she took another bite of a cookie.
"Yeah, given his current track record, I'd say that's a good idea." Jaune said in agreement as he too looked at the screen with concern.
____________________________
Now Sun was carefully trying to get himself into an ideal launching angle. In doing so, he found himself slanting a bit more to the left as he tried to move his hammer into a launching position; something that was counterproductive to Sun's success. "Woah-see? See? See it's a little-it's a little off...kilter. So I need to make sure I'm where I should be... and then... Shoop! Op!"
After steadying himself upon a tip of the stone, Sun then launched himself over to the right, where he latched his hammer onto the rocky base that laid before him.
____________________________
The majority of the audience awaited with bated breath and rigid dispositions as they watched Suniplier launch himself across the top of the air shaft. As they then watched him hook his hammer onto the rocky base, one similar thought crossed each of their minds: Was Suniplier finally about to make it to an entirely brand new section of the mountain?
____________________________
"For years now people have been predicting that games would soon be made of prefabricated objects, bought in a store and assembled into a world."
"Ah!" Sun shouted as he was startled by Foddy suddenly speaking. Luckily, this did not cause him to fall off like the other times as Sun brought himself up onto the new rocky base.
____________________________
"Foddy, you son of a—!" Sun began to shout with a glare.
"Hold on. Let's not get too feisty." Blake pointed out as she turned to Sun. "Suniplier made it, alright? Nothing bad ended up happening."
Sun looked at Blake before looking back at the screen again. His glare began to subside before he replied to Blake. "Fine... But I'm still not happy whenever Foddy's dialogue just pops up out of nowhere and distracts the other me at the worst times possible."
____________________________
Shortly after, Sun grew a large and wide smile as he looked to his camera, pointing at the screen to show his success.
____________________________
Sun grew his own smile as he looked at his counterpart with pride. "Awe. Look at how happy he is. You go, dude."
"After everything he's been through in this video, Suniplier deserves some happiness." Ruby said as she too brightly smiled.
____________________________
"And for the most part, that hasn't happened, because the objects in the stores are trash. I don't mean they look bad or they're badly made, although a lot of them are. I mean they're trash in the way that food becomes trash as soon as you put it in the sink."

"Oh, great. Suniplier makes it up to a new part of the mountain, and his reward is more weird philosophy." Nora groaned as she leaned her head back in annoyance.
"Yeah, it is the weirdest one so far." Jaune admitted. "Also, who puts food in the sink?"
"You put it in the sink's garbage disposal." Ren told his friend.
"Wait, people actually do that?" Weiss asked as she grew a surprised look.
"But why would you put food in the disposal I when you can put it in a trash bin?" Jaune asked with a baffled look.
"Some people just find it easier to do." Ren replied with a shrug. "Especially when they're about to clean the dishes."
"I mean... I can understand it if it's just small scraps, but if it's larger pieces of food? That just sounds like a good way to get your disposal clogged up, if you're not careful." Jaune said as he scratched the back of his neck.
Ren simply gave another shrug as he replied back. "I'm not saying it's an advisable thing to do. I'm just saying people have varying habits."

Sun now found himself sitting before a tall, stone building that lacked walls and was deteriorating; abandoned. Sun took several quiet and calmed breaths as he swiftly swung his way straight up the raggedy building; now finding himself underneath several shipment containers. To the left of these containers was an extension that resembled the bottom part of a crane's jib section. However, given how close one of the containers were to the top of this jib section, Sun would have to shimmy his way across from under it.
____________________________
"Woah. We're on a roll here." Sun said with an impressed chuckle. "He just went in there and scaled the building in no time at all."
"It looks like he's building his confidence." Yang said as she observed Suniplier. "Sometimes all you need is the right amount of confidence to get through a daunting task."
However as some were focused on Suniplier making his way up the building so quickly, most others were focused on the fact there was a building on the mountain to begin with, especially alongside some crates and a crane.
"...Okay, this is getting a little weird." Weiss said as he stared at the building and crane with a look of bewilderment.
"I... kind of thought there would just be more random objects scattered along the mountain side." Pyrrha said as she shared a similar look to Weiss's. "This is... certainly a departure from what I was expecting."
"Well, I'll give Foddy this, he's definitely creative about his game." Tai remarked.
"Wait a minute, where is that crane attached to?" Glynda asked as she furrowed her eyes at the screen. "There wasn't anything at the bottom that showed their the crane to begin with."
"Who knows at this point." Ironwood said. "But if the abandoned building is anything to go by, it's going to be something just a random."

"Things are made to be consumed in a certain context, and once the moment is gone they transform into garbage. In the context of technology those moments pass by in seconds."
"How-how-how do I...?" Sun questioned as tried to figure out how to make his way across the jib section before him.
"Over time we've poured more and more refuse into this vast digital landfill we call the internet. It now vastly outnumbers and outweighs the things that are fresh and untainted and unused."
____________________________
"I understand that sentiment quite well." Pietro said with a solemn nod. "As great as technological advancements can be, we always have an unending need to produce something new right after every progression. And we rarely try to slow down."
"Well it's important to keep up with an ever-changing environment." Ironwood replied to Pietro. "As nice as it can be to take things slow, we must always be moving towards the future."
"Depends on your definition of the future." Qrow muttered under his breath before taking a swing of his flask.
"There's a difference between needing to progress and wanting to progress, General." Pietro said to Ironwood as he adjusted his glasses. "I'm proud of our accomplishments, but as Mr. Foddy said, doing too much could lead to less innovation and more repetition."
"Then we'll just have to make sure we avoid that repetition in any and all future advancements." Ironwood said as he crossed his arms and focused back on the screen.
Pietro cast and uncertain look at Ironwood, but said nothing more as he focused back on the video at hand.

"Wait..." Sun said with a hint of concern as he slowly hooked his hammer onto the jib section. He slowly moved his character around to see how he would get across this next obstacle. And if Sun's squinting eyes said anything, it's that he was not liking what he would have to do to get across. "Oh... oh..."
____________________________
"Oh... he's gonna have to shimmy his way across that." Sun said before growing a slight frown. "That could be a little tricky. Not impossible, but not the most comfortable experience."

"Man, this Foddy guy is really starting to lose me here." Mercury said with a bored look, resting his head on his hand.
"Honestly, I'm feeling the same way." Emerald said as she too dawned a bored look in her eyes, although not to the same extent as Mercury.
"What is lingua franca?" Blake questioned as her ears perked up at the word.
"It's the adopted common language between speakers with differing native languages." Vortech answered the cat Faunus.
"Huh. It would make sense to have something like that for people of different language backgrounds." Blake mused in response. "Though for us, a lingua franca wouldn't even cross ours since everyone on Remnant has spoken the same languag for who knows how long."
"Huh... have people on Remnant ever had a different language?" Ruby asked her Faunus teammate.
"I don't know. Like I said, we've used the same language for a really long time." Blake replied to her team leader. "And I do stress it as a really long time."
____________________________
Sun held a frozen, worried look as he shimmed himself across the jib section, his hammer clanging against the metal with each swing. "Ah... UaHh! Ah. Ahh!"
____________________________
"Come on. You got it. You got it." Sun said as he tried to encourage his counterpart. "Just keep it steady and take your time."
"The way the hammer clangs against that crane section is making me a little nervous." Jaune said with a wary look.
____________________________
"Maybe this is what digital culture is. A monstrous mountain of trash, the ash-heap of creativity's fountain."
Sun was now nearing the end of the jib section. And at this end was a floating room that had a road barrier on its floor. Sun made an attempt to swing off the jib section, and into this new room. Unfortunately, he hit the roof of the room, not only blocking him from swinging inside, but causing Sun to fall through the gap between the room and the jib section. It was a fall that sent him all the way back down to the rocky base which the abandoned building rested upon.
"AAAAAAAHH!" Sun screeched as he fell, hooking onto the edge of the rocky base before he could fall down the air shaft. "No! Ohh No!! No! No!"
____________________________
Sun let out a long and sharp gasp as his pupils dilated in immediate fear. Afterwards, he had become frozen in silence.
"Oof. Oh, you hate to see it." Yang said with a cringed expression.
"Are you... are you good Sun?" Blake said as she tapped the monkey Faunus on the arm.
Sun said nothing in reply as his face was still stuck in one of horror.
"I... think he might be broken." Weiss said as she looked at Sun with furrowed eyes.
"I understand your pain, my man." Yang said with a sympathetic look as she reached over to pat Sun's shoulder in an attempt to console him.
"... It was going so well..." Sun quietly uttered out, his expression unchanging.
"At least your counterpart saved it right at the end, before he could fall back down the air shaft." Pyrrha pointed out.
However, instead of giving a reply, Sun reverted back to silence again. But at least in this instance he lost his horrified expression, not simply staring at the screen with wide eyes.
"Looks like we're gonna see two men break during this viewing." Ilia muttered before taking a sip of her soda.

"A landfill with everything we ever thought of in it. Grand, infinite, and unsorted."
"UuoOh!" Sun groaned as he tried to climb back up the abandoned building. Sadly, Sun was having a much more difficult time than he did before, mostly due to his rapid swings. "Uuugh! Ohh! Oh!! I don't think I've said a word in the past few hours! It's just been noises and... AAhh!"
____________________________
"Huh. Yeah, I guess he hasn't really talked all that much in a bit." Ruby said with a mildly surprised look.
"Wait, he's been at this game for hours?" Tai asked as his eyes went as wide as saucers. "That's gotta be a slight exaggeration, right?"
"I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't." Port remarked. "The man has struggled a lot just in this timeframe of this video alone."
"The man is determined, I will give him that." Winter said with a slightly surprised, yet impressed look.
"While I can't be the judge of the exact time he's spent playing Getting Over It, I can most definitely attest to it being much longer than the video itself." Vortech stated to Tai. "Recording gameplay is done in a similar vain as filming movies. You get as much footage as you want, and you edit out the parts that aren't needed for the final product. This video is just Suniplier's determined highlight reel."
"That makes sense. I've watched some people live stream gameplays for hours on end." Yang said. "Though after you watch the 'extended cuts' of the footage, I don't usually see much of a need to check out the shorter versions."
"Man, just imagine all the chaos that would come from Suniplier's entire gameplay session." Nora said with an interested glint in her eyes. "Who knows what screw ups or funny moments we might missing out on."
"Yeah, I'd rather keep off of my conscious, thank you." Sun told Nora with an uneasy. "I'm getting all the second-hand torment that I don't want with this video by itself."
____________________________
Sun had made it back up the abandoned building as he spoke, but screamed as he nearly fell off in his attempt to latch onto the jib section. But it only got worse as ended up launching himself off to the left as he fell down once more. "WHYYYYY?!?!"
____________________________
"Not again." Sun groaned out as he slumped his shoulders.
"And here I was thinking he was actually beginning to improve." Cinder remarked with what sounded like disappointment in her tone.
"You know, despite the everything that's happened to this guy, I really gotta commend his vocal range." Roman said with a mildly impressed look. "The man has a great set of pipes."
'It's like listening to an opera from Hell.' Neo signed with an off-putting, innocent smile.

"This thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down—Mary Pickford."

"Annnddd now he's quoting people." Sun said with a deadpan expression. "It's a person who I have no clue about, yet Foddy's quoting them anyway. Fantastic."
"Honestly, that quote kind of represents Suniplier to a T at the moment." Blake mused after eating some of her gummy fish. "Though after all that we've seen Suniplier go through, that quote sounds less like encouragement and more like an insult."
____________________________
"Uuhh... UuuGhhh!" Sun whined as he began to climb the building again, only to fall off a quarter ways up. "Uueeihh—NOO! Oh, my God. Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God. Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I hate... Uuh."
____________________________
"This is starting to become a little concerning." Ozpin said as he began to grow a worried look.
"I'm starting to get some nasty flashbacks to when Yang was younger." Qrow said was he cast the screen a knowing look.
"I can back up that claim." Yang immediately added as she put her arm up, giving her own knowing look at Suniplier.
"Oh, he's losing it." Sun quietly said with a heavy wince.
"Ohohohoho. Things are getting interesting again." Mercury chuckled with an almost devious smirk.
"I think he's gonna blow soon." Emerald commented her two cents as her eyes had become slightly widened.
____________________________
As Sun hyperventilated in his frustration, he continuously tried to climb back up the abandoned building, only to find himself repeatedly bouncing off the bottom part of it.
"I hate. AAH! Why?! Why?! Why?! Why?? Just don't!" Sun pleaded as kept bouncing off over and over again. "AAAHH! Just dooon't!! I'm begging you! Oh, my God! You did it so easily... the first time..."
____________________________
Many in the audience began to wince and cringe at not only Suniplier's failure streak growing again, but also his rising anger.
"Ohhh. This is bad. This is really bad..." Ruby said with an extremely worried look.
"His confidence has been eviscerated." Ren remarked as his eyes had widened to the size of saucers.
"With this amount of anger and distress, you'd almost think he was on a period at the moment." Ilia said as she too started to feel a bit of concern for Suniplier.
"I certainly hope Mr. Suniplier can start making progress again." Penny said with a worrying frown. "This amount of stress is not healthy for the human mind."
____________________________
Sun now held an absolute look of depression as he tried to calm himself down.
"Okay... Okay. It's fine." Sun said.
The video then showed a montage of Sun bouncing off the bottom of the abandoned building several more times; almost in a rhythmic sort of pattern.
____________________________
"And he had edit his video again to speed to things up." Jaune said as he took a sharp inhale through his teeth. "Not a good sign."
____________________________
It then cut to Sun groaning as he fell down from the building again; then struggling to get back up. "Uuugghh. Ah... Ahh... Ahhh... AhhAh! AhhAhAh! AHH, come on! I did it so—I did it first try!! And now I'm stuck—No, please just give me this one thing! I'm begging you! AAOOHH! Fuck!!"
____________________________
"We're on to the bargaining stage now, I see." Roman remarked.
'I'm pretty sure he's been on the bargaining stage for a while now.' Neo signed in response to Roman.
"Yikes... I never thought I could ever see myself get this angry." Sun said with a shocked look. "But here we are."
"It's like watching a train wreck." Blake said with almost horrified astonishment. "No matter how much you want to, you can't help but to be drawn into watching it all unfold."
____________________________
The video cut ahead again, this time with Sun nearing the containers at the top of the building. But he unfortunately missed the mark and fell back down. "Ohoh, No!! I was right there! Why can't I do this anymore?! Why?!"
____________________________
"That's also my question." Sun stated. "What stars just happened to align at that first attempt at scaling the building in order for the other me to be able to do it only once, and not again afterwards?"
"I'm telling ya, he just lost his stride." Yang said with a shrug. "He was doing extremely great for that one minute and lost his mojo the moment he screwed up at that crane."
"Not to mention that the more he lets the stress get to him, the more Suniplier is going to struggle." Pyrrha pointed out. "He needs to take a moment to pause and collect his thoughts again if he's wants to get back up to the crane."
____________________________
Once more, it cut forward to Sun nearing the top of the building. And once more, Sun fell back down in complete anguish. "No! No! No! No!!"
It cut forward again, this time with Sun somewhat calmed down as he heard his character mumble a bit as he fell down from the building again.
"Ohoh, God, he says no." Sun said in response to his character mumbling.
____________________________
For one moment of reprieve, the members of the audience could find themselves chuckling a bit at the video again, even if it was just a short distraction from Suniplier's pain.
"Ohhh... hehe. You know it's bad when even the video game character is starting to get fed up." Sun said as he shook his head with a tired chuckle.
____________________________
It now cut to Sun having finally gotten back up top of the abandoned building.
"Okay. Alright." Sun calmly said before accidentally extending his character outward, much to his worry. "Hey—Ste—Oh, whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa."
However, Sun slipped a bit, causing him to fall down ever so slightly.
____________________________
No one said a word towards Suniplier's recent slip up at the top of the building. All they could muster was to shake their heads or let out exasperated sighs, knowing full well by now how Suniplier would respond to it.
____________________________
"Eeiegh! No! No, no, no. No. No! What are you doing?!" Sun then exclaimed as he accidentally swung his hammer out, almost falling down as a result. "No!! No!! What are you doing?! What are you doing?! STOP!"
____________________________
"Here he goes, getting jumpy again." Sienna dryly remarked.
"For as difficult as this game is meant to be, this man is his own worst enemy half the time." Ironwood commented.
____________________________
Sadly, as Sun tried to launch himself up, his hammer collided with the bottom of the jib section, causing him to fall back down the building.
"NO!! OH, GOD!! FUCK!! FUCK!! FUCK!! Oh... FUUCK!!" Sun shouted in absolute rage, standing up from his chair as he threw his blanket across the room.
With his hair disheveled and his face beat red, Sun sat back down in his chair, heavily breathing as he got ready to continue the game.
____________________________
Sun's eyes shot wide open, taken aback a bit at the amount of rage his counterpart was expressing. "Jeez... I knew he could get really angry, but I didn't think he would get that pissed."
"And I thought Yang could get loud when she's angry." Ruby said in shock.
"That honestly almost hurt my ears a bit." Blake admitted as she rubbed her Faunus ears.
"It looks he's about to kill someone." Emerald said as she blinked at the screen with a bit of surprise.
"His frustration is past the boiling point now." Glynda said as she frowned in sympathy towards Suniplier. "I don't know how much more he can take."
"I thought I knew how angry a man could get when I worked with Watts." Pietro muttered as he looked at Suniplier with concern. "But this young man has overshadowed any moment of rage Watts ever had."
"And I thought I had a sailor's mouth." Qrow remarked with what looked to be an impressed glint in his eyes. "Clearly I don't compare with Mister Suniplier, here."
____________________________
It cut to Sun back at the top of the building. As he tried to swing for the jib section, his hammer collided with its edge, causing him to fall again. Though, thankfully, Sun was able to latch his hammer onto a nearby railing that wasn't too far down.
"No—!" Sun quietly exclaimed before launching himself upwards, this time hooking onto the jib section. "There we go. Okay... Okay... Alright. We're back. We're back in businahss. We're back in business."
The video cut to a few seconds ahead as Sun continued to shimmy up the jib section.
____________________________
"You know what...? I'm just not gonna say anything." Sun said as he shook his head with his eyes closed. "I'm just gonna prepare for the worst; lower my expectations."
"That doesn't sound like such a bad idea at this point." Jaune said in response.
____________________________
"This guy is so strong. This guy is so strong, because of how strong I am." Sun said as he neared the floating room. "That's how strong he is. This is how strong I am. Okay... Hah—."
Sadly, as Sun attempted to swing into the floating room, his hammer hits the room's roof again, causing him to fall down through the gap.
"NOOOOOO!!!" Sun cried out as he clutched his forehead; appearing as if tears would soon begin to stream down his face.
____________________________
"Yeeeep. Thought so." Sun said with a deadpan expression as he crossed his arms.
"This poor, poor man." Penny said as she looked at Suniplier in sadness.
"I think he just needs to walk and let it all before continuing this game." Yang advised after taking a sip of her soda. "That-that is the only way he is going to feel better."
____________________________
After this devastating fall, music called "Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad" by Cliff Carlisle began to play.
____________________________
Sun had mostly been calm, if not inwardly annoyed for the past few minutes. But the moment the music started to play, a look of anger crossed his face. "...Music? He's starting to play music?!"
"Wow. This Foddy guy is a grade-A master in subtlety being a prick." Roman said as he mildly raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah, Foddy knew what he was doing when making this game." Weiss said as she frowned. "The choice to use a song, along with the type of song he used, was all very deliberate in order to add insult to injury."
____________________________
"Ohh... No!" Sun exclaimed as he began to trek to get up the building again. "I don't mean—I'm not trying to do that one fast! It just—because the ledge is there, it like suddenly—I'm trying to do that so slow! And it just—Oh, shut up with the goddamn music, I hate you! I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you, game. Oh, I hate you. I hate you. I hate you, game."
____________________________
"Just let it out your feelings, man." Tai said with a sympathetic nod of his head. "You need this right now."
"He needs to just stop playing the game." Ozpin stated as he glanced at Tai. "Suniplier is clearly no longer in the right state of mind for playing a rage-inducing video game at the moment. He should call it here and play again another day."
"I'd say he should drop the game all together." Winter chipped on her thoughts. "I doubt anyone would blame him, especially if they experienced the game themselves."
"Like you said, Winter, he is determined." Ironwood reminded his subordinate. "He may hate the experience, but he absolutely wants to get higher up this nightmare of a mountain before he considers anything else."
"And therein lies the insanity of it all. Being mentally broken by the experience but refusing to give up early along the trek." Oobleck stated. "Suniplier may gain more progress on the mountain, but he'll lose more with every ounce of anger he may yet feel from every future misstep."
____________________________
Sun, after several more repeated tries of climbing up the building, decided to hook his hammer onto a short, metal frame extension that jutted off a bit on the side of the building's wall. "No... stop. Just stop."
It then cut to Sun finally back up the jib section, a more serious look on his face as he shimmied across.
"Stop playing that stupid music." Sun stated as made his way across. "I don't care what your th-th-singing about... I don't care what you're doing. I don't care about anything other than—it's because of that lip of the roof, on that part, makes this really difficult. It makes it surprisingly difficult."
____________________________
"He needs to carefully move his guy onto the roadblock thing if that's the problem." Nora pointed out. "It might also help to get to as close on the edge of the crane part as possible before going into the building."
"That does sound like the safer approach." Pyrrha nodded her head in agreement as she thought about Nora's idea. "At the very least it could prevent him was from falling again."
____________________________
Sun then decided to slowly try and make his way into the floating room, successfully resting himself upon the road blocker. "Okay, I must set myself on this... yes. And then I'm gonna lift, Huuuh... just like that..."
After many misery-filled attempts, Sun was now within the floating room, cauldron, hammer, and all.
____________________________
"Yes! Thank you!" Sun exclaimed as a look of relief flushed his face.
"There we go!" Nora gave a little cheer as she clapped her hands.
"Finally." Blake said as she gave out a little sigh of relief.
"Hopefully this can calm down Suniplier a bit more." Ruby said as she cast a small smile at the screen. "At least to where he's no longer angry, if nothing else."
"I think we should wait and see what's beyond the room before we can hope for that outcome." Weiss advised in reply to Ruby. "The building seemed easy for him when he first got to that area too, and look how that turned out."
"I'm with Weiss on this." Yang said as she ate some popcorn. "Let's give it a moment to see how Suniplier's gonna react to this new place."
____________________________
"Okay... Ah..." Sun sighed as he slowly moved himself further into the room, moving over several barrels as he now moved his way across a backyard porch that had a hot tub, pumpkin, beach ball, grill, and several other objects upon it. "Oh... that no—AAHH! Don't go fast. That's nice."
____________________________
"Calm down, dude. I think you're good." Sun said with a calmed tone.
"And now he's on a backyard porch in the summer." Weiss said with a deadpanned tone as she got ready to take a bite into her pretzel. "The juxtaposition with the mountain is getting even more extreme."
"It does look a little cozy though." Jaune admitted with a bit of shrug.

"...Huh?" Sun questioned as he went slack jawed in confusion, casting a lazy look at the screen.
"That made my brain hurt a bit." Nora said with a frown as she rubbed her head.
"... I cannot compute the majority of Mr. Foddy's comment." Penny quietly said with a robotic stare.
"What the fuck kind of words were that?" Roman asked in befuddlement.
'I think Foddy had a psychological stroke.' Neo signed as she blinked her eyes in rapid succession.
"I... think I got about half of what he said." Blake said as she tilted her head in bewilderment. "And I don't even understand about all of the half I got."
"Uuuhh, Vortech? A little help?" Ruby asked as she turned to Vortech for an explanation.
"Just forget about it. It would take way too long to explain everything that man just said, and I'm not looking to distract away from the viewing too long." Vortech bluntly replied with a dismissive tone. "If you're that curious about all that babble, then you can wait until the next intermission."
____________________________
As Foddy spoke, Sun hopped over the grill and launched himself to the left, hooking his hammer onto a backyard table umbrella that laid upon a sideways house that lacked any roof. Sun was quiet, yet warily breathing as he steadied himself upon the sideways house.
"Everything's fresh for about six seconds, until some newer thing beckons and we hit refresh. And there's years of persevering, disappearing into the pile, out of style, out of sight."
Sun gave a small sigh as he rested himself atop the backyard table umbrella. But before him was now a crazily stacked obstacle that included a chair, a dog house, a wheelbarrow, a picnic table, a rake, and a lawnmower. And it was all topped off with a blue slide.
____________________________
"Okay, why did this suddenly turn into poetry night?" Mercury asked with a hint of annoyance. "What are we supposed to do now, snap our fingers?"
Mercury then heard the sound of someone snapping their fingers, prompting him to find out who caused the noise. He ended up turning to Emerald, who looked at him with a smirk as she snapped her fingers again. Mercury then stared at her with a deadpan expression before turning back to the screen.
"I gotta say though, Foddy really knows how to articulate himself. I'm kind of impressed." Blake admitted as she gave some appraisal to the game designer.
"Okay, but... what are we looking at here?" Weiss asked with an almost scandalized look as she pointed her hand at the screen. "Why-what... what is this nonsense of junk jumbled together?"
"Woah. Foddy sure has a wild imagination." Ruby said as she scanned over the pile of varying objects below the slide. "It looks kind of neat, if I'm being honest."
"Of course you would think that way about it." Weiss said to Ruby with an eye roll.
"This Foddy fellow sure is... creative, in a way." Pietro said with uncertainty as he reached his hand under his cap in order to scratch his head.
"Childish is more like it." Glynda remarked with a bit of a frown.
"I'm sorry, I thought the point of this game was to climb a mountain." Sienna said as she grew a scowl. "This no longer looks like a mountain."
"Just how many random things did this man use when making his game?" Winter muttered under her breath as she squinted her eyes in confusion.
"Well, it's still a mountain in the sense that there's a many varying levels of objects that leads high into the air." Oobleck in reply to Sienna. "Though, yes, we have clearly moved away from the more standard stone mountain in favor of a man's atypical approach to a mountain's structure."
"If nothing else it provides for a more interesting challenge." Port said with a look of intrigue. Though his expression soon turned into a frown upon his next thought. "However that may not go too well for Mr. Wukong's counterpart."
____________________________
"Nice slam poem." Sun said to Foddy, albeit with a tone that said he really didn't care. "I'm about to slam... this goddamn hammer... Uuooooh, Na—!"
Sun held an agape jaw as he slid off the wheel of the wheelbarrow, though only sliding down onto the sideways house.
"Uh..." Sun said as he tried to climb the tall stack of objects again, only to slightly slide off the umbrella table. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no! No. No! No!"
____________________________
"Oh, no. Oh... No! It's the shed all over again!" Sun exclaimed with a horrified glint in his eyes. "But it's even worse now!"
"Never thought I'd experience Deja Vu this soon." Yang said with slight surprise.
"Foddy sure knows how to give certain objects the weirdest physics." Jaune quietly said as he cast the screen an odd look.
____________________________
Much to Sun's horror, as he tried to swing himself up the stack of objects, he hit the bottom of the rake, sending him flying backwards.
"No!! Where am I?!" Sun exclaimed as he landed back onto the backyard porch, just beside the grill. "How...? How...? Oh... oh... Uhh! Uh!"
____________________________
"Well... that wasn't too bad." Ruby said as she tried the be optimistic about the situation. "At least Suniplier has a better resting area this time."
"That doesn't really fill me with a whole lot of confidence." Sun said to Ruby as his worried look remained unchanged.
____________________________
Sun then launched himself back to the sideways house, hooking onto the umbrella table again. But as he tried to swing up and around, Sun ended up pushing himself flying backwards... again.
"No!! No! Stop!!" Sun shouted as he hooked back onto the grill. Whilst breathing heavily, Sun carefully set himself onto the grill before launching back over to the sideways house. "Eiuah!"
Sun breathed a small sigh of relief as he set himself on the sideways house. But that relief was short lived once he accidentally moved his mouse the wrong way, causing him to shoot back over to the grill.
"No!! Why?! Oh, my God!! Why?! Why?! Why?! Why?! EuuOhh!!" Sun screeched as he was now angled on the small left side of the grill.
____________________________
"I swear, this man is giving me PTSD with how many times he's accidentally moved his in the wrong direction." Sun stated a mixed tone of both annoyance and sadness.
"Yeah. Just how many times can a guy screw up like that?" Roman asked with his brow raised.
'The better question is when will he stop screwing up like that.' Neo signed to her boss before drinking from her frosted beverage.
"I really hope he doesn't accidentally throw himself down that gap." Pyrrha said as she frowned in concern. "I don't like what it might entail."
"Yeah... I think he's gonna quit the game if he falls through there." Nora said as she nodded in agreement.

Though the moment Sun tried to move, he ended up lowering down, closer to the open gap between the backyard porch and the sideways house.
"No-No... No. No. I'm not moving my mouse." Sun said in immediate worry as his character continued to lower down from the edge of the porch. "I'm not. Moving. My goddamn mouse. Why? Why? Why? Why would you do that to me?! Ahh! I hate you!"
____________________________
"Wait, what?" Sun questioned as his sweet wide open again. "Why?!"
"Does this mean Suniplier wasn't entirely at fault whenever he messed up his swings?" Ruby asked as she glanced back and forth around her seating aisle.
"I'm gonna assume that the character automatically lowers when he hanging off of something and no one's controlling him." Jaune said as he rubbed his chin with a thoughtful expression. "But a majority of his failed climbing attempts was definitely due to user error."
____________________________
Sun, with an exasperated look, brought himself back up to the grill as he continued to go on about his displeasure of the game.
"I hate you so much. I hate you. I hate you. I hate. I hate everything about you. Hate everything... about you." Sun said.
It then cut to him struggling to climb up the stack of objects on the sideways house.
"Uuhh! Uughh! Ah." Sun said as he got himself upon the umbrella table. "See, sometimes it moves so fast. And I don't know why. Just gotta be... real... real careful."
____________________________
"Again, I think he just needs to customize his control settings." Jaune stated. "Experiment with it until he finds a speed and launching power that's agreeable for himself."
"His launching power might be something he has to change on his mouse settings instead of his game settings." Yang pointed out.
"Wait... since when do you know how to play games with a mouse?" Ruby asked as she turned to her sister in surprise.
"Hey, just because I have a preference for controllers doesn't mean I won't try a game with a mouse every once in a while." Yang replied before growing a proud smirk as she pointed her thumb at herself. "I'm more than willing to swing both ways."
Hearing this, both Blake and Ilia raised their eyebrows before glancing over at Yang. While neither of them knew it, they both shared the same thought in regard to Yang's last comment.
""...Was that a double entendre?""

Sun then hooked his hammer onto the wheel of the wheelbarrow as he slowly raised himself up. "No... that's gonna slip. That's gonna slip."
And, like Sun said, he slipped off.
"Yep. There it goes. Okay, so that slipped, because of course it would slip. It makes sense that it slipped." Sun said as he tried to climb up the objects again. "Ooh..."
____________________________
"Okay, so his hammer slipping off a wheel makes logical sense." Weiss said. "I will give this game that."

He had gotten further, even being able to hook over the rake. But, Sun's character ended up bumping into the bottom of the blue slide, causing him to bounce off into the gap between the porch and the house.
"NOOO!! Oh, NO!! WHY—?!" Sun screeched as he failed to hook onto the edge of the porch, further falling through the gap. Fortunately, there were three road blocks with a step ladder atop them which jutted from the house, giving Sun a place to land on. But his face was wide and frozen with fear and shock.
____________________________
The majority of people in the audience had also frozen out of concern in varying ways; some more shocked and terrified than others.
Sun himself had his mouth go agape again upon watching his counterpart nearly fail in the hardest way he possibly could.
"Ohhh, he actually saved it before he could royally screw himself." Emerald groaned out a bit as she too found herself antsy towards the situation.
"Man... just imagine the freak out that would have happened he completely fell down." Mercury said with wide eyes.
"He's-he's really gotta stop having accidents like that." Nora said as she felt a rush of adrenaline flow through herself. "That legitimately scared me."
"My heart almost sank the moment he fell like that." Jaune said as he clutched his chest. "All of his current progress could have been gone in an instant."
"Thankfully Foddy was kind enough to put those road blockers there." Ruby said as she pulled on her collar to let out some heat she was beginning to feel due to the stress of the moment.
"I guess we can say Foddy isn't a total jackass then." Yang added as her eyes were dead-set on the position Suniplier's character was at.
____________________________
Breathing very heavily, Sun launched himself up onto a plank of wood that rested in the ladder before launching off of that and hooking onto the grill; bringing himself back to the porch. "Nhuuu—huuh."
With his mouth still wide open, Sun rested himself atop the grill with a grunt. "Uuhh! Uh!"
Without saying a word, Sun went to launch himself over to the house, flailing as he did so in fear of falling through the gap again. "Eh! Uuooh. Where am I going?!?!"
____________________________
"Quit freaking out so much!" Nora shouted as she threw her hands up at the screen. "You're just making it worse for yourself!"
"Suniplier's going to make himself fall through that gap if he keeps this up." Ren said as he shook his head.
____________________________
Resting himself onto the house, Sun put on his best smile as he now tried to quit the game. "UuoooOh! Okay! You know what, I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done... No. I'm not done."
____________________________
"No. No, no. I think you should just stop here." Sun said as he started to get really anxious.
"Oh, yeah. He's about to set himself up for failure." Yang said with a sigh as she designated herself to Suniplier's fate.
"Second-guessing yourself is rarely ever a good idea." Tai stated as he crossed his arms.
"I fear Mr. Wukong's counterpart is about to regret his last minute decision." Ozpin said as he gained a deadpan look.
"And he got himself to such a perfect resting place as well." Glynda sighed with a disappointed look.
"Hey, maybe he can actually get up the slide and find a better place to stop." Ruby suggested, albeit with a clear hint of uncertainty in her voice. "You never know."
"You're lying to yourself if you think that's going to be the case." Cinder thought to herself as she glanced down at Ruby.

If one could find a perfect set of final words before disaster, none could have done so better than Sun Wukong. Immediately after he tried to climb up the umbrella table, he slid back, ending up pogoing on the edge of the house.
"No! I'm done!" Sun shouted before he accidentally fell done through the gaps and onto the road blocked. "No! I SWEAR! I WAS DONE!"
Sun then began to freak out as he tore his head set off and stood up from his chair; the veins in on his forehead pulsing hard. "OH, MY GOD! IM DONE! OH, GOD! FUCK!! OH, MY GOD!!"
Sun then immediately threw his chair across the room.

This time, every member of the audience found themselves taken aback by Suniplier reaching a new level of rage. While many expected Suniplier to go through another shouting fit, none of them expected that he would get to the point of being physical with his rage. It had caused a good amount of the audience was stunned to absolute silence, but a few of them were able to muster up some verbal responses.
"Holy shit!" Mercury exclaimed a bit in shock.
"Oh... I was so wrong." Ruby said with a cringed look as she sank into her seat and hid her face behind her hood.
"Oh, yeah. We've reached my levels of rage." Yang said with a solemn nod of her head.
"That even surprised me a bit." Sienna admitted as she had found herself caught off guard by Suniplier throwing his chair in anger.
"His veins look as though they are about to burst." Winter quietly uttered as she observed Suniplier's rage-filled face.
'I feel a little a scared at the moment.' Neo signed with a frown.
Roman, who just simply held a frozen look of shock, turned to read Neo's sign. Upon doing so, he found himself nodding in agreement with his little partner's sentiment.
"Ooohh... I don't have any words for this." Pyrrha said as she heavily winced at the screen.
"I... I didn't think it could get any worse." Sun muttered out as he stared at his counterpart. "I never thought I could ever get so angry to the point of throwing things across a room. I just... I just don't have that kind of thing in me."
"Well, your counterpart sure does." Blake replied to Sun as she stared at the screen with wide eyes.
____________________________
The video then cut to Sun facing back towards the camera, his hair in a mess as he was still on the high of his initial rage. "This is why I can't do rage games! This is why I can't. I can't do it! I can't do it! I can't. I can't do 'em. I can't do 'em. I can't. I can't do 'em. This is why I can't. This is why I can't. This is why I can't! This is why I can't. This, here, is why I cannot... do them! I can't! This is not a joke! I'm not joking! I never joke about this! Everything I do in a rage game is not a fffffflipping joke! I hate them... I hate them so much. They're so bad for me... emotionally... they take a toll! On my soul! Not a joke!"
____________________________
"I've never seen a man give off such raw emotion before." Port said as he blinked at the screen.
"If rage games are this much of a detriment to him, why does he play them to begin with?" Glynda questioned after getting over the surprise of Suniplier's outburst.
"I still want to know why he kept going. He repeatedly said he was done, but he changed his mind at the last second!" Weiss shouted at the screen with a baffled look. "Why would he keep going if he was getting ready to stop?"
"I am beginning to feel as those Mr. Suniplier might have some mental affliction of some kind, given his almost erratic behavior." Penny began to theorize with a thoughtful expression on her face.
"...Oh, yes. Did I forget to mention that this version of Sun suffers through an extreme case of ADHD?" Vortech dryly asked with a very knowing tone; suggesting that he purposefully hid this fact for the near entirety of the viewing.
The moment Vortech uttered the word ADHD, it all began to click for the audience members, who all felt as though they finally knew the missing piece of the puzzle to Suniplier's gameplay.
"Oh, my God..." Sun muttered in realization before his tone started to go higher. "This all makes so much sense now!"
"No wonder Suniplier was having that much of an issue. He literally can't help himself due to his ADHD." Blake said as her eyes went wide.
"ADHD will definitely do that to a person depending on how much it affects them." Tai said as he nodded in understanding. "While it doesn't entirely excuse Suniplier second-guessing himself like that, it does explain how he got into that mindset."
____________________________
After his long winded rant, the video cut to Sun with his head laid down upon his head set. He was quiet for a moment before finally reading his head back up. "Okay! So anyway... that's all the time I got for this episode. If you want to see more... let me know in the comments below. I'll probably play more anyway. Thank you everybody so much for watching... and as always... I will see you... in the next video. Buh-Bye!"
As a funky and bouncy accordion-like outro music played, it showed an inverted, instant replay of Sun throwing his chair on repeat for as long as the outro played out. With a few final techno beeps, the screen blinked to black.
____________________________
"Hehehe. Okay. The instant replay is a little funny." Nora giggled a bit.
"Neat outro tune, too." Jaune complimented as he bobbed his head to the music.
"Eh. Not as good as my counterpart's outro song." Roman stated with a proud smile.
"Euugh. You know I almost forgot about that." Jaune said in response to Roman with a groan of embarrassment. "I wish you didn't remind me."
It was then that Vortech stood up from his throne and stretched his arms a bit. After he did that, he then began to address his audience. "So... how did you all enjoy that fiasco?"
"Enjoy wouldn't be the word I would use." Ozpin said as he cast Vortech an uncertain glance.
"I can at least say you definitely delivered on your promise." Ironwood said with a bit of an exasperated look. "We did get to see a man go past his breaking point."
"I didn't think the next thing we'd see from YouTube was going to be a rage video." Yang said. "I hope Suniplier can cool off after this."
"I mean, he at least got decently far up the mountain." Sun pointed out. "So that should alleviate things a bit."
"Hahahahaha! Oh, that is an understatement, my naive monkey boy." Vortech cackled with an almost evil look. "With where he's at, your counterpart is only about twenty percent up the entire mountain."
"TWENTY?!" Sun screeched out in shock.
"Yikes. Just how high up does this mountain go?" Ruby asked as she lowered her hood.
"I can't imagine what that guy's gonna suffer through when he plays it again." Qrow remarked as he glanced off to the side in slight disbelief.
"It's a lot. He goes through an immense amount of pain the more he plays Getting Over It." Vortech bluntly told Qrow. "But outside of that, does anyone else have any further thoughts or questions before we move on to the next viewing?"
Vortech waited for anyone to answer him. When all he received was some head shakes,a few hand waves and murmurs of 'No', he took it as his cue to carry on.
"Alright then." Vortech said as he clasped his hands together. "Now let us get back to Juras—."
However before Vortech could finish his sentence, the entire theater started to violently shake as a wave of energy shot through the entire room.
"What the devil?!" Vortech exclaimed as he tried to keep his balance.
"What's going on?!" Glynda exclaimed as he clutched her hands onto the arms of her seat in order to try and remain stable.
'This wasn't on the brochure!' Neo signed as she tried to make sure her slushee wouldn't fall over.
"Hold on to the popcorn buckets!" Nora shouted as she, Yang, and Blake tried to prevent any popcorn from spilling.
Fortunately, for as soon as the shaking had started it ended just as quickly. After everything began to subside and settle everyone turned to Vortech for answers.
"What the hell was that all about?!" Tai shouted.
"Did something rupture?" Pietro questioned with concern.
"Was that an earthquake?" Sun asked.
"No, nothing ruptured, and no that wasn't an earthquake." Vortech sternly replied before looking around the room. "It was some form of... dimensional energy surge. One that was able to shake Foundation Prime itself, which shouldn't be possible."
"Dimensional energy surge?" Ironwood repeated with a raised brow. "What causes something like that?"
"Only something of immense power can cause a surge such as that." Vortech stated. "I should know, I once wielded that same kind of power before."
However before anyone could say anything, the screen began glitch out. As everyone turned to it, they watched as a sort of black and white energy pulsated around the screen.
"Uhhh... Vortech?" Jaune asked as he looked at the screen in apprehension.
"Oh, no. Is it the Radio Demon again?" Ruby asked with worry in her tone.
"The Radio what?" Sun asked his did a double take on what Ruby said.
"No... This is someone, or something different." Vortech said as he narrowed his at the eyes at the screen with a hint of curiosity.
"Are you going to do something about it?" Winter questioned Vortech with a stern look.
"I would... but I want to see where this is going." Vortech said as he continued to stare at the screen.
"That doesn't inspire much confidence." Weiss said as she frowned in response.
Vortech gave no response as he chose to start drowning everyone out. Seeing nothing else to do, the audience members chose to watch the glitching screen alongside their host as they warily awaited to see what might happen.
____________________________
For a full minute the screen continued to pulsate and glitch from the black and white aura. But soon the glitching subsided as the screen turned on again, showing something different from anything Vortech had intended in his scheduling.
At first, all the audience saw was the black void of space, but then something else came into view. A spaceship; one that was large and elongated with two wing-like protrusions on its lower sides and a massive, rounded back where thrusters presumably resided. But the most notable thing on the ship was a word emboldened in white at the ship's head: "INVINCIBLE"
But the word at the front of the ship quickly blinked off as the screen panned out to show more of the ship. And as it did so, several voices began to be heard; some more discernible than others.
"Captain..."
"You did this, Captain... we followed you to the end of the universe!"
"You're just as bad as him."
"We trusted you, Captain!"
"We trusted you!"
"Those people put their lives in your hands."
"I knew that you were too weak to do this job!"
"How could you?!"
"All those colonists... that's on you."
As the voices continued to flood in, becoming more incomprehensible with each passing moment, a lone body was shown floating beside the spaceship. It was then that the distraught voice of what sounded to be Sun's counterpart filled the speakers in the theater with an almost haunting disposition.
"It was all you... We trusted you. I trusted you, Captain! CAPTAIN!!"
And then the screen shut off, leaving no explanation as to what had transpired upon it.
____________________________
Once more the theater was filled with silence. None knew how to respond to what they all had just seen, for none knew what they had witnessed. The starship, the voices, the lifeless body floating in the vacuum of space... barely anyone had any inking as to what it entailed.
Out of everyone in the audience, it was Ozpin who turned to look at Vortech as means to see if he knew anything on the matter. "Are you able to inform us in any way on what that was, Vortech?"
As Ozpin asked this he noticed that Vortech's eyes were moving around in rapid succession, most likely in response to Vortech trying to figure out what universe was just shown on the screen. Vortech's eyes transitioned back and forth between aggregation and confusion before looked up with a blank expression as he uttered out his reply to Ozpin.
"No... because I don't even know what it was, myself."
To be continued...

Author's Notes:
So... how have you all been? I hope you've been doing well. I've certainly got much to talk about since I've been away.
For starters, how about we go over some of the changes Wattpad has made? We can now reply to a specific someone like we would on YouTube without having to type @ and their whole name; unless they're someone who hasn't commented on the chapter and you want to bring them to the chapter. You can also heart comments and you get notified about new followers. It's nice to see Wattpad freshening some things up. Though I can't say I'm all that favorable about them getting rid of the Personal Messages.
Now onto what I've been doing. Other than that new Transformers painting, I've been mostly doing marathons of old shows, checking out new ones, and watching some new movies. And if I wasn't doing that, I was either watching YouTube, playing video games, building LEGO, or adding more figures to my Transformers collection.
For the shows, I've checked out Andor, Bad Batch season 2, and Mandalorian season 3. I really ended up liking Andor. Bad Batch S2 I felt was better than S1; it still had some of the filler issues but I feel those ended up being fixed a bit when character development was mixed more into those specific episodes. As for Mando S3... kind of Meh. The main plot should have been the retaking of Mandalore, but it just felt jumbled with too many plot points that couldn't be executed well within 8 episodes. The episodes either needed to be longer or there needed to be more episodes in the season.
Onto movies. I watched Avatar 2, Puss in Boots 2, Ant-man 3, John Wick 4, The Mario Movie, GOTG 3, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Across the Spiderverse, the FNAF movie, Aquaman 2, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. I liked Avatar 2 well enough; it was mostly just a rehash of the first movie's plot with new characters, locations, creatures, and immensely updated graphics. I really loved PiB 2; that movie was absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely be using it for this story, after showing Shrek 1 and 2 first. Ant-man 3 was kind of eh. Kang was a great part of the film (until they screwed him over), but I just didn't feel much with it. John Wick 4 was the first time I saw a John Wick movie in theaters, and I really enjoyed myself with it. I don't have any current plans to have the franchise in this story yet, but we'll see. The Mario Movie was also very enjoyable; a simple, fun movie that gives you the basics on Mario. I also really liked GOTG 3. It may not end up being regarded as the best of the GOTG trilogy, but it's been the best MCU movie since No Way Home, for me at least. For Transformers: ROTB, while it wasn't quite the step up after Bumblebee, with some people seeing it as a step down, I did find myself having a lot of fun with it, so I'll be using it for this story. Across the Spiderverse was absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait for the sequel; I definitely want to use for my story. Moving on to the FNAF movie, yeah it clearly wasn't perfect and it was a let down for a decent amount of people, but I might do it for my story; though I'll probably wait and see how the second FNAF movie goes before I make my final decision. For Aquaman 2, while there was stuff I liked, I can't really say it was an upgrade after the first movie, so I don't have any plans for it (Hell, I'm not even sure what plans to have for any DCEU content since it a jumbled bag at the moment). Frozen Empire was also a movie that, while I had fun with it, didn't quite surpass its predecessor, and unlike with ROTB I'm uncertain if I'm gonna use Frozen Empire for this story. And then we have Planet of the Apes, of which I did really like; though like with John Wick I can't have I have any current plans to have that content for a story.
I also might do some Dragon Ball content. I mainly have plans to start off with some DevilArtemis stuff, but main DB stuff will probably come Dragon Ball Z Kai.
Now I also want to bring some attention to how this chapter went for me. I gotta admit that I wasn't all too confident with all I got down for the reaction segments of the chapter this time around. Now I mainly kept the reactions around the younger characters since Sun was the main focus, but I feel like there was more I could have written down. The only issues are that I didn't know what other reactions to write down, and I didn't want to repeat too many of the same/similar lines since the Getting Over it video doesn't have much room for more varied discussions that can be had. But regardless of how I feel about it, I hope it was entertaining for you guys.
And as for one final thing, I am going to announce the first video game I'm gonna cover on this story. Epic Mickey Rebrushed. I have plans for the Ghostbusters video game, Shadow of Mordor, and Shadow of War, but I'm gonna do those in chronological order with their respective movies. With Epic Mickey, there's nothing before in the game's timeline that I'd need to wait to write first before I get into the game. So when the game comes out in September, i'll start gearing up for that chapter.
So anyways, that's all for what I wanted to talk about at the moment. I won't keep you guys any further. I'll be sure to see you all in the next chapter, of which I will begin to work on right away.
Farewell, Rule Breakers.
