The viewing lit up to reveal the Ghostbusters being led through the streets of New York with a police escort. Reporters clamored towards the as they walked.

"Stay back." One of the police warned the reporters while Qrow waved and smiled. "Stay back. Stay back."

"I never thought I'd see Uncle Qrow and Dad with a police escort." Ruby commented.

"I mean, I'd wager it's more likely to happen to Uncle Qrow. But it's definitely weird seeing Dad with the police escort." Yang replied to Ruby.

"Not to mention Professor Ozpin and Doctor Oobleck as well." Weiss added

"If Qrow drinks far too much, he just might end up in a similar position." Winter dryly remarked.

"Meh." Qrow muttered with a shrug before taking a swing of his flask.

"Like moths to a flame, the reporters swarm to trouble." Ironwood said in regards to the reporters clamoring around the Ghostbusters.

"Though in this case, I would wager it's far more warranted." Ozpin said to Ironwood. "Especially since it may be the end of their world."

The reporters started to swarm the group, prompting the police to huddle around the Ghostbusters as they led them to the mayors office.

"I've got a city blowing up, and you guys are not giving me any answers!" Junior, the Mayor of New York City, berated the heads of state and the police commissioner.

""Junior?"" Yang and Roman immediately questioned at the same time. After realizing they had both said the man's name, the two of them blinked for a moment before looking at each other.

"How do you know Junior?" Roman asked Yang before he furrowed his eyes in thought. "Wait a minute... you're the blonde that tore up Junior's club. Just right after I loaned from guys off of him and left."

"Oh, yeah... that was you talking to him just as I entered, wasn't it?" Yang responded as a flash of Roman leaving the club on the night she first "visited" Junior popped right into the blonde's mind.

"Wait, what's this about tearing up a club?" Taiyang asked as he gave his eldest daughter a raised brow.

Yang rubbed the back of her neck, flashing her father a nervous chuckle. She then cleared her throat as she tried to explain. "In my defense, I was still in my phase of looking for... you-know-who. He didn't know where to find her so I opted to leave... and I got a little carried away when he had his guys preventing me from leaving."

"Beating up a few thugs I can understand." Tai relented to his daughter. "But tearing up the club too?"

"From what I heard, there was a lot of explosions, broken flooring, and shattered glass." Roman added in the conversation.

Tai rose his brow at Roman before looking back at Yang, who became sheepish under his gaze once more.

"I may have gone a little overboard when Junior took out a few strands of my hair." Yang allowed.

"Were the cops called?" Qrow asked her.

Yang furrowed her brows in thought before shaking her head. "Oddly enough, no. Then again, Junior is someone with connections with guys like Torchwick, so he probably didn't want the police involved."

"Were you billed any damages?" Qrow asked her.

"No." Yang shook her head.

"Did anyone die?" Qrow asked once more.

"No." Yang shook her head again. "All the patrons left when the shoot out started."

Qrow stared at his eldest niece for a moment before giving her a thumbs up. "Good girl."

"Seriously, Qrow?!" Taiyang exclaimed to 'brother-in-law.'

"There wasn't any negative effects from what Yang did, so I'd say it's fine." Qrow shrugged back at Tai.

"Don't encourage behavior like that." Tai scolded him. "I don't want Yang picking up more your bad habits."

"Most of those are great habits, I'll have you know." Qrow pointed back in retaliation.

While her uncle and father started to bicker, Yang turned back towards Vortech. "So what's Junior's roll in this universe?"

"He's the mayor of New York City." Vortech bluntly stated.

""Mayor?!"" Both Yang and Roman shouted in surprise.

They were all within the Mayor's office, looking over a map of the city that showed where the main crisis events were occurring at.

"All right, we're blocking the bridges, the roads—." The police commissioner began to say before the door to Junior's office opened up.

"The Ghostbusters are here, Mr. Mayor." Junior's Faunus aide informed him.

"The Ghostbusters. Okay, the Ghostbusters." Junior acknowledged as the paranormal hunting group was brought into his office, the reporters still talking and clamoring outside the office. "Hey, and where's this Peck?"

"I am Walter Peck, sir, and I'm prepared to make a full report." Peck introduced himself as he walked into the office behind the Ghostbusters, pushing his way through Qrow and Oobleck, much to their annoyance.

"Oh, great. This jerk is back." Nora scowled as she crossed her arms.

"Ah. Walter Prick. Nice to see his punchable face again." Qrow said as he cracked his knuckles.

The Ghostbusters stood to one of the room, given Peck schooled, yet annoyed and angered looks as he slandered them. "These men are consummate snowball artists. They use sense and nerve gases to induce hallucinations. People think they're seeing ghosts, and they call these bozos, who conveniently show up to deal with the problem with a fake electronic light show."

"Snowball artists?!" Oobleck exclaimed in anger.

"Bozos?" Tai asked with an angered frown.

"I'd like to see the look on his face when he's in the crosshairs of said: "electronic light show"." Qrow replied with narrowed eyes.

"Not to mention what Peck is suggesting is stretching an extreme." Ozpin gave Peck an incredulous look.

"He has no evidence to these so-called "gases" that would cause people to see ghosts." Ironwood stated. "Not to mention that the time and effort it would take to mask said gas would take to long."

"When believing in ghosts is more plausible than hallucinogenic gas." Glynda remarked with a small, scoffing chuckle. "What a strange multiverse we live in."

"Mr. Peck should not push his theory as a fact without any actual proof to his words." Pietro suggested while shaking his head. "It makes him look insane."

"He already is insane." Sienna commented while inspecting her nails. "Because of that imbecile, the entire city is being plagued by a legion of specters and the damned."

"I would call that gross negligence on Mr. Peck's part as opposed to him being insane. But I share a similar sentiment." Winter replied to the White Fang High Leader.

"Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here." Oobleck told Mayor Junior in regards to Peck with an irked tone while Qrow gave Peck a scoffing smile.

"Heheh. Nice one, Bart." Qrow chuckled a bit.

Qrow leaned over to Oobleck, holding his hand up as the green-haired teacher promptly responded by high-fiving him.

"In a more crude manner, my counterpart took the words right out of my mouth." Oobleck stated before crossing his arms while Qrow leaned back in his seat.

"They caused an explosion!" Peck retorted with barely controlled anger.

"You caused the explosion!" Yang shouted towards the screen.

"It may have been the Ghostbusters equipment, but it was Peck's order that caused all of this mess to happen." Pyrrha frowned.

"He's trying to shift the blame onto them." Weiss stated while shaking her head. "He knows that the explosion happened because of his order, but he's still furious at the Ghostbusters. This undoubtedly prompted Peck to formulate the best excuse to pin on them."

"Sounds like most politicians and government officials in general." Ilia dryly remarked.

"You said it." Emerald muttered in agreement.

Junior looked at Peck before looking over to the Ghostbusters. "Is this true?"

"Yes, it's true." Qrow calmly told Junior before glancing over to Peck. "This man has no dick."

Taiyang rolled his eyes at Qrow.

The more immature within the audience laughed at Ghostbuster Qrow's crack at Peck.

'It's funny 'cause it's actually true.' Neo signed with a giggle.

"Peck definitely likes to assert his authority over those that call him out." Glynda stated as even she couldn't help but give a small, humored grin. "Some might just see that as compensating."

"It's a small form of vindication, but I'll take it." Qrow said with a laugh as Tai, Oobleck, and Ozpin chuckled in agreement.

"Get off, you...!" Peck gritted through her teeth as he lunged at Qrow, only to be halted by Oobleck and Ozpin.

"Knock it off! Come on, break it up!" Junior said as everyone went to pull Peck away from Qrow. "Break it up. Break it up."

"All right! All right. All right." Peck said as he raised his hand sin surrender.

"Well, that's what I heard!" Qrow said in defense for himself.

"This is City Hall." Junior said as everyone started to calm down. "Now, what am I going to do here, John? What is this?"

"All I know is that was no light show we saw this morning." John, the Fire Commissioner said as he sat down on a couch, Junior taking at seat at his desk. "I've seen every form of combustion known to man. But this beats the hell out of me."

"The walls in the 53rd Precinct were bleeding." The police commissioner told Peck. "How do you explain that?"

"Wait, bleeding?" Ruby asked; blinking in both curiosity and perturbance. "As in actual blood, or something else?"

"That's got to be a trippy sight to see." Mercury stated as he imagined just what a bleeding wall would look like.

"I hope it's bleeding with slime or some other ghost goo." Jaune said with a cringed look. "I do not like the thought of actual blood bleeding through walls."

"If anything, it's just another fact that pokes holes into what Peck is framing the Ghostbusters for." Blake said. "As gruesome as the thought of it is."

The door to Junior's office opened once more, revealing the archbishop to have entered in. "Good afternoon, gentlemen."

"Oh, Your Eminence." Junior said with a smile as he got up from his desk and moved towards the archbishop.

"A priest?" Roman asked with a raised brow. "Never knew Junior as a praying man."

"Archbishop, to be precise." Vortech clarified.

"Bringing out the church's big guns." Qrow commented with an impressed look. "Probably a good idea in a paranormal situation like this."

Qrow and Taiyang looked at the archbishop before looking back forward.

"Ah..." Junior said as everyone stood up for the archbishop. The archbishop held out his hand, prompting Junior to take it and kiss it on the archbishop's knuckles.

"How are you, Junior?" The archbishop asked the Mayor.

"You're looking good, Mike." Junior smiled as he patted the archbishop's cheek. "We're in a real fix here. What do you think I should do?"

"Junior, officially, the Church will not take any position on the religious implications of these, uh... phenomena." The archbishop explained to Junior, placing his hand on the Mayor's shoulder. "Personally, Junior, I think it's a sign from God. But don't quote me on that."

"No, I think that's a smart move, Mike." Qrow told the archbishop while Peck rolled his eyes.

"Well, so much for that idea." Yang commented as she gave onscreen Junior a dry look.

"It probably should have been expected. Churches can really only be used as guidance." Glynda said. "But in more extreme and biblical situations such as this, all the Church can really do is observe and hope for the best."

"Now, I'm not gonna call a press conference and tell everyone to start praying." Junior stated as the archbishop took a seat in a chair while the fire commissioner and one of the heads of state took a seat on the couch again.

Taiyang cleared his throat as Junior sat back down at his desk. The Komodo dragon faunus then walked over to Junior. "Im, uh, Taiyang Xiao Long, your Honor. Look, I've only been with the company for a couple of weeks. But I gotta tell you, these things are real."

Junior gave Taiyang a strange look as the faunus continued to elaborate. "Since I joined these men, I have seen shit that'll turn you white."

Both Sienna and Emerald couldn't help but give a small snort of a chuckle to Ghostbuster Taiyang's words.

"Kind of wish I could have seen more of what he saw." Mercury said as he pointed to the screen.

"I agree, yet at the same time I also disagree." Ruby replied to Mercury's comment. "On the one hand, more ghost busting action. On the other, more scary ghosts."

"It's a tough decision." Jaune said with a nod.

"It isn't really that tough if you're more neutral to the effects of horror." Ren said to Jaune.

"Which I am not." Jaune clarified as he preened in his seat. "Therefore it is a tough decision. At least for me."

The fire commissioner scoffed at this while shaking his head.

"Well you can believe Mr. Pecker." Qrow told Junior while pointing his hand towards Peck.

"My name is Peck." Peck shot back at Qrow with a calm anger.

"Or you could accept the fact that this city is headed for a disaster of Biblical proportions." Qrow finished to Junior, though not before taking a glance at Peck.

"What do you mean: "Biblical?" Junior asked in confusion.

"What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath-of-God type stuff." Oobleck explained to Junior.

"Yes. Exactly." Qrow said, nodding his head.

"Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies." Oobleck continued. "Rivers and seas boiling."

"Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes." Ozpin exclaimed.

"The dead rising from the grave!" Tai shouted.

"Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria!" Qrow added while Tai gave Qrow a humored look.

"Well when you put it like that." Emerald said with a nodding tilt of her head.

"Over dramatic, but I can see the point." Cinder commented.

"I would have used Grimm becoming docile and friendly with humanity, but given that Grimm don't exist in this universe, I guess dogs and cats will do." Ironwood threw in his two cents.

"Good to see we're all on the same page for how much screwed over we are in this universe." Qrow dryly remarked.

"Forty years of darkness?" Penny asked, frowning at the thought.

"That actually wouldn't be such a bad thing if you're a Faunus." Blake said with a shrug.

"The volcanoes and earthquakes, however, do not sound nice, to put it lightly." Weiss shook her head.

"That would be as bad the entire world suddenly running out of cookies forever!" Ruby shouted, clasping her hands in her cheeks in horror.

"Yes. Because the extinction of a sugary treat is so much worse than natural disasters." Weiss sarcastically spoke while rolling her eyes.

"Enough. I get the point!" Junior shouted after getting up from his desk, now standing in front of it. "But what if you're wrong?"

"If I'm wrong, nothing happens!" Qrow proclaimed. "We go to jail, peacefully, quietly. We'll enjoy it. But if I'm right, and we can stop this thing, Junior..."

At Qrow calling Junior by his first name, the Mayor blinked a bit as Qrow continued. "You will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters."

Hearing this, Junior slowly grew a smile. Even the archbishop nodded his head with a smirk.

"Appealing to a politician's inner desire for praise." Sienna said with a schooled, yet approving look. "Smart."

"Works every time." Roman crossed his arms with a snide smirk.

"Sleet and Camilla would definitely go for something like that." Ironwood nodded with a knowing look.

"The same can be said with most councilmen officials." Ozpin added in agreement.

"It's even better that the archbishop is smirking in agreement." Qrow gave a chuckle. He brought up the necklace around his neck, looking at the cross that hung from with a smile before giving another chuckle, tossing the cross up a bit before letting it go. "I knew I liked churches for some reason."

"I don't believe you're seriously considering listening to these men." Peck said as he walked up to Junior.

Junior looked at Peck for a moment, glancing at Qrow before going back to Peck. Qrow looked over at Peck before glancing back at Junior.

"Get him out of here." Junior said, pointing to Peck.

"Bye." Qrow told Peck with an all to pleased smile, something shared with Oobleck and Taiyang.

"Now this is more like it." Qrow nodded with a vindicated smile.

"Good riddance." Port said while crossing his arms.

"While I still believe the issue with Peck could have been avoided, this is a nice compensation, nonetheless." Oobleck said with a small smile.

"There's one problem solved." Ruby said with a cheerful look.

"Leaving the Ghostbusters to focus on the bigger issue at hand." Pyrrha added with a nod.

"Stopping the apocalypse." Nora remarked. "The Ghostbusters are in it for the long haul now, that's for sure."

"I'm gonna fix you Branwen." Peck threatened Qrow as he was being led out of the Mayor's office.

"I'm gonna get you a nice fruit basket." Qrow replied to Peck before looking at Oobleck. "I'm gonna miss him."

"All right. All right." Peck relented as he was forced to exit the Mayor's office, the faunus aide closing the door once he left.

"We got work to do." Junior said in a serious tone as he then looked at the Ghostbusters. "Now, what do you need from me?"

The viewing cut to outside as a large platoon of military soldiers in green camo shouted as they ran through the streets with similarly colored trucks.

Behind all of them, reporters were blocked off by barricades while police officers ran towards their motorcycles, which were in front of a several police cruisers.

"Come on, let's run some red lights!" Qrow shouted as he leaned out the window of the front passenger seat of the Ecto-1. The Ghostbusters were all back in their uniforms and inside Ecto-1, with Oobleck driving.

"First the cops, now soldiers." Qrow said with an impressed face. "My, aren't we special."

"It's good to see that this Junior takes his job seriously." Ironwood nodded in approval. "This is definitely a situation that calls for all stops to be pulled."

"Hey. Junior always delivers what asked of him." Roman said with a knowing look.

"Hey, earlier when you said you asked him for some guys, are those the same guys I beat up at the Dust shop?" Ruby asked Roman.

Roman stared down over to Ruby for a moment before answering her. "He delivers. Doesn't always mean what Junior delivers is top quality."

The sirens of the motorcycles, police cruisers, and the Ecto-1 started to blare as the drone through the city.

From the view of Central Park, Willow's apartment complex was shown. From atop the haunted building, black clouds started to spiral out into the dusk-covered sky.

"Oh, that's not good." Jaune said with dilated pupils.

"Understatement of the year." Ilia told him with a bland look before giving the viewing screen a look of apprehension.

Emerald gulped a bit in fear towards the screen while Mercury focused more on it.

"This should be interesting." Cinder thought to herself in intrigue.

"Forty years of darkness." Ozpin repeated with a harrowed look. "Just as my counterpart said."

"Here's to hoping you all can stop this disaster from completely taking hold." Glynda said as she looked to the screen in worry.

"Very accurate song." Blake commented with a nod of her head.

"It has a nice beat though." Yang said.

"True." Blake replied with a shrug.

On the sidewalks near the towering apartment, many people clamored around. Nuns were praying with their crossed in their hands while various common folk pointed up to the black clouds.

In another area of the sidewalks, people were holding signs telling everyone to repent while Jewish priests spoke prayers to themselves.

"That's a lot of people surrounding the streets." Penny said with wide eyes, feeling a sense of concern for them.

"I was kind of expecting a lot more running." Mercury admitted.

"It would more than likely be the smart thing to do here." Ilia found herself agreeing with Mercury. While she was all for standing up against oppressors, there are just some battles you can't win.

"Given the praying and the repent signs, they all might perceive this as beginning of the end of their world." Ren spoke in a calm demeanor, those his thoughts were sullen. "What good would running be at that point?"

Mercury rose his brow at Ren, giving some thought to his words before shrugging. "I guess you've got a point there."

"Watching to see how your life might end." Nora gave a scowling frown at the thought. "That's just torture."

"They're not out of it yet." Ruby said, her tone filled with hope. "Not if Uncle Qrow and the Ghostbusters have anything to say about it."

"My God. Enough with the optimism." Emerald scowled in thought at Ruby's words.

"Uncle Qrow and the Ghostbusters?" Taiyang asked his daughter, giving her an analytical look.

"Well, Dad... he is the boss." Ruby gave her best defense.

"Ruby has spoken." Qrow said with a pleased smile. "I'm the boss."

"And we're just thrilled to be your posse." Tai replied with a roll of his eyes.

From the side, the soldiers started to jog past the crowd while police held some of the crow back behind the barricades.

The crowd watched and cheered as the Ghostbusters came rolling down the street in the Ecto-1 with police and military escort.

The Ghostbusters continued to drive down the street with their escorts before parking in front of the apartment building.

Stepping out from the Ecto-1, Qrow waved to the cheering people. "Hello, New York!"

Everyone cheered as Qrow walked up to the barricades, shaking a few hands and kissing the hands of a few women.

"Now the song is very fitting." Jaune said with an awe-inspired smile.

"Immediately everyone cheered for the Ghostbusters when they arrived." Pyrrha smiled at the sight. "They don't just see them as a business. They see them as true heroes."

"I hope I'm able to have that affect on people when I become a full-fledged huntress." Ruby smiled brightly and proudly at the sight.

"The only affect that will bring is the horror in people's eyes when you fail." Cinder thought to herself as she cast Ruby a glance.

"Soak it in gentlemen." Qrow stated with a proud smile as he wrapped his arm around Tai's shoulder. "This is what fame looks like."

"While it is a warming thought, don't let the fame get to your head, Qrow." Ozpin reminded his friend. "It's one thing for people to praise you, but another to always try and keep that image of praise."

"While I do agree with you, Oz, I have never been treated with this many open arms." Qrow said in defense. "I'm going to milk this for the rest of the viewing."

Oobleck, Ozpin, and Tai had gotten out of the Ecto-1 as well. The former two had gone to the back to retrieve the Proton Packs while Oobleck circled around from towards Qrow.

"Hey, everybody!" Qrow called out to the crowd before grabbing hold of Oobleck by the hand, raising it up with his. "Whoa. Dr. Barty Oobleck. Would you please? The heart of the Ghostbusters."

People cheered, prompting Oobleck to grow a smile on his face as he waved to the crowd.

"Thank you." Qrow thanked the crowd as he and Oobleck lowered their hands before Qrow patted his friend on the back. "They love you. They love you here."

"Bet you never thought you'd draw in this much of a crowd, did ya, Bart?" Qrow looked over to the history professor with a smirk.

"While I am not one to seek fame, the crowd's cheers are a nice moral booster." Oobleck astutely said with a nod. "We all ready are celebrities in this universe."

"And now you will all go down in history as legends." Port spokesman with a hearty chuckle while giving Oobleck a manly pat on the back. "Doctor Bartholomew Oobleck. The proclaimed "Heart of the Ghostbusters"."

"You have to admit, it does have a nice ring to it." Glynda told Oobleck in support of the idea.

"Well, if we do succeed in our mission, it would be nice to be remembered in the history books." Oobleck relented a bit.

"I like that shirt, friend." Qrow pointed to one of the people in the crowd as he and Oobleck walked to the back of Ecto-1.

"Ghostbusters! All right! All right!" A man cheered from the crowd.

"Gotta run! Got a date with a ghost." Qrow told the crowd just as Ozpin and Taiyang pulled out the rack where the packs were stored.

"Okay, whatever happens, let be professionals." Qrow told his friends as they all grabbed a proton pack and placed them upon their backs.

"He says that immediately after flaunting to their adoring fans." Yang chuckled. "Ah, hell. I'd probably do the same thing."

"So long as your humble in your flaunting, it isn't such a bad thing." Weiss said as she preened herself.

"Besides that, fans do appreciate being roused by those they adore." Pyrrha added in.

"Said the heiress to the largest Dust company on Remnant, and the Invincible Girl of Mistral." Blake stated.

"What can I say?" Pyrrha asked while smiling sheepishly and rubbing her neck. "Sometimes it's hard not to succumb to an adoring crowd. Despite the downsides of being placed on a pedestal."

The crowd thunderously jumped, shouted, and cheered for the Ghostbusters as they got their packs on. Qrow continued to nod and wave to the people as the Ghostbusters made their way to the entrance of the apartment complex.

Before they could though, a low and ominous rumbling was heard. The Ghostbusters slowly lifted their heads, staring up in worry towards the black clouds as lighting struck the top of the towering building with thunderous claps.

The wind blew forth a large gust of wind, causing the large crowd of people to have their hair and clothes brushed back by the howling wind.

People started to commotion in fear as a dark shadow fell down upon the building.

"We might have to put a little overtime in on this one!" Oobleck called out to his colleagues as he hair blew about in the wind.

"I don't know if that's an accurate assumption or an understatement." Sienna said as she gave an apprehensive glance to the black clouds.

"I really do not like those black clouds." Ilia said with a wary expression.

"The darkest clouds always entail something dreadful shall come." Blake said as her bow flatted atop her head.

Soon the ground started to rumble as pieces of the complex fell to the streets below. Suddenly, the streets started to crack up, lifting and falling with the Ghostbusters right in the middle of it. The four scientists had failed to notice the street breaking up before all four of them fell in screaming, flailing their arms about.

"Dad! Uncle Qrow!" Ruby shouted in immense worry.

"No, no, no, no, no." Yang repeatedly spoke with horrified eyes.

"Are you kidding me?" Qrow immediately gave the screen a bland look.

"We did not just die." Tai widened his eyes at the screen in denial.

"Wouldn't be the first time for me. But for the sake of stopping Merlot's plan for the end of the world, I pray for our counterparts' survival." Ozpin thought with a sour look before taking a sip from his mug.

People had started to move away in panic and fear as the streets continued to crack and break, the wind growing heavier. Part of the street had fallen in where a police cruiser was stationed, causing the vehicle to fall and crash into the raised part of the broken street as its siren died, water starting to spray out from a broken pipeline.

Everyone continued to scream in panic as they had fallen to the ground. Eventually though, the rumbling stopped, and everything was still. The screaming had died down as everyone began to cough and moan as they got up. They all looked to the smoke in the broken street where the Ghostbusters had fallen into, all of them fearing the worst as the wind continued to blow about.

Everyone looked expectantly towards the screen, a few less caring than the others as to what happened to the Ghostbusters.

"Please be alive. Please be alive. Please be alive." Ruby crossed her fingers as she prayed up and down with Yang rubbing her back and Penny comfortingly patting Ruby's shoulder.

However, soon enough, a gloved hand made its way out of the rumble before Oobleck was shown pulling himself up out of the crater.

"There they are!" A woman called out.

Followed by Oobleck were the rest of the Ghostbusters, all of them making their way out of the smoking crater as people cheered and applauded for them.

"Oh, thank God!" Ruby gave a huge sigh in relief as she laid back in her chair, her hand on her chest as her heart rate started to slow to a normal pace.

"Really scared us there for a moment." Yang said as she looked to her father and uncle.

"How do you think we feel?" Tai asked after sighing in relief as well.

"It's good to see that this Remnant's last line of defense against the ghosts haven't joined the dead just yet." Ironwood smiled in relief.

"This is undoubtedly the work of this Gozer entity." Ozpin said with a firm nod. "He must already see us a threat to his arrival. At the very least, it's the work of his supernatural minions."

"Too bad for Gozer that we're too stubborn to die so easily." Qrow said with a confident smirk before taking a swing of his flask.

"I was in no way prepared for that!" Oobleck exclaimed as he stood up, looking around at his colleagues.

"It's all right. Don't worry." Qrow raised his hands as he, Tai, and Ozpin had gotten up whole everyone continued to cheer. "We're fine. We can handle it. We can take it. They want to play rough."

"Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters! Ghostbusters!" The crowd cheered while repeatedly throwing their fists to the air.

"You want to play rough?" Qrow asked his colleagues.

"Yeah!" Tai roared out.

"Let's do it." Oobleck agreed.

"Let's do it!" Ozpin proclaimed as well as the four Ghostbusters brought their hands in for a team hand stack before breaking their hands away as the crowd cheered once more.

"Yeah!" Ruby cheered while throwing her fist to the air.

"Time to show Gozer what happens when you mess with the Ghostbusters!" Nora shouted on the same level of cheer.

Ozpin seemed to beam up at the cheers of the crowd. It had been so long since his something associated with him and his allies had been cheered on for their actions, bringing actual hope to those that saw them. It caused the Beacon headmaster to smile warmly at the sight.

Ozpin then looked toward Qrow, Oobleck, and Taiyang. All of them held confident smiles towards the scene before looking to one another, all of them nodding their heads to one another.

The Ghostbusters then hopped over the cracked and broken rubble of the street, making their way to the entrance of the apartment with the crowd cheering behind them.

The viewing cut to a later time as the Ghostbusters were shown climbing up the tall and seemingly continuous flight of stairs of the apartment complex, all of them panting from the long trip.

"Where are we?" Qrow asked Oobleck as the Ghostbusters paused for a moment to take a break.

Oobleck looked up for a moment before replying to Qrow in a dry voice. "It looks like we're in the teens somewhere."

"Okay, well, when we get to twenty, tell me." Qrow told Oobleck, his breath shortened. "I'm gonna throw up."

And almost immediately when this scene was shown, all four men frowned a bit.

"Oh, dear." Glynda commented, albeit while giving a small chuckle.

"Of course the elevators are out." Qrow dryly spoke.

"If our adoring fans could see us now." Taiyang remarked while shaking his head.

"How many floors are in that apartment building?" Weiss asked. "Those stairs look like a nightmare to climb, up or down."

"They look like they just go on forever." Nora said as she moved her eyes around to squared, spiral-formation of the very tall staircase.

"I'm getting queasy just by looking at it." Jaune said as he held a fist to his mouth.

"Not only was Merlot evil for setting up Gozer's arrival, he's also really evil for making so many flights of a stairs." Ruby scowled at the viewing screen.

Back with Zuul and Vinz, they were currently lying down together on a stone bench at the very top of the apartment complex. Zuul was first to get up, her dress sliding down her shoulder a bit as turned her head. Next to get up was Vinz, who had an all too pleased and goofy smile on his face, his button-up shirt ripped open and his belt having been loosened.

Realization of the implications of what the audience was seeing hit Weiss like a brick.

"No..." Weiss said with a disturbed look. "Please tell me they did not."

"It all makes so much sense now." Blake said with wide eyes. "Zuul, the female, is the Gatekeeper, and Vinz, the male, is the Keymaster."

"It's a freaking sex ritual." Emerald said in surprise.

"Dogs in heat are gonna be dogs in heat." Mercury remarked.

"Please stop." Weiss begged the grey-themed 'Haven student,' still holding a disgruntled look towards the screen.

"They used my mother and Louis as vessels to copulate." Winter showed at the viewing screen. "That's just... I don't think I can even find the right words to describe how immensely disturbing this is."

"Fucked up. That's what I would use, if it were my mother." Sienna added in her two cents.

The two watched as lighting struck the very crown of the apartment, causing blue energy to surge through it. The two stepped down from the stone bench, mist covered the floor as they each went to one side of the of the roof.

Back with the Ghostbusters, they had reached another floor, still panting as Oobleck read the floor's sign.

"Twenty-two." Oobleck wearily read out. "Is this it?"

"Yep." Qrow replied in a tone that sounded as if he were dead inside.

Oobleck sighed in relief as he walked into the hallway of the floor, the others railing behind him.

Oobleck peaked into the hallway, his face twisting at the sight before him as various items such as mirrors, desks, and curtains had been thrown about. He leaned his hand against the wall as he began to rest for a moment. "Oh..."

"Art deco. Very nice." Ozpin commented at the scenery.

"That's one way to describe it." Qrow said as he looked at the screen. "That place really got screwed up."

"Good news is that you guys finally made it to Willow's floor." Ruby spoke. "You're all out of breath, but at least you can stop Gozer now."

"A short rest stop and I'm sure we'll be good to go." Tai replied to his daughter. "Five minutes ought to do the trick."

"Where is it?" Oobleck asked Qrow.

"It's at the end of the hall." Qrow pointed forward.

Oobleck nodded before the Ghostbusters started to move again.

Back with Zuul and Vinz, they watched as ghostly electricity zapped around the crown of the apartment, both of them standing upon the pedestals where their statues once were.

Meanwhile, the Ghostbusters had gotten to Willow's apartment. They attempted to open the door, only for it to creak and fall down with a thud, spreading out dust.

"An analogy for how our counterparts probably feel on the inside after all of those freaking stairs." Qrow said to Tai, Oobleck, and Ozpin.

"We better hurry now." Ozpin said as he gave the screen a grimace. "That lightening centering at the building's crown does bode well for us."

"Zuul and Vinz have all ready completed their ritual." Oobleck stated with a soured look. "Now all they need do is to finish summoning their master."

Qrow was first to enter into the apartment room, the room itself having been blackened with soot and dust. The Ghostbusters looked out from the destroyed section of Willow's apartment, looking out to the city before them.

"What a view." Yang said with a whistle.

"One caused by the destruction of my mother's apartment." Weiss added with with wary look. "Zuul practically fried the place."

"I would imagine this is what it looks like to be inside a brick oven." Blake commented. "Let's just hope the Ghostbusters won't get cooked."

Oobleck had walked back a bit before turning his head and noticing the burnt and destroyed doorways that led to the flight of stairs Zuul and Vinz had taken. "Hey, where do these stairs go?"

Qrow, Tai, and Ozpin had walked out to Oobleck, staring at the stairs as well before Qrow gave his response. "They go up."

"No kidding." Oobleck blandly stated while staring at the screen.

"Well, what else do want from me?" Qrow asked Oobleck. "I mean, they do go up."

"It's more so stating the obvious that I have an issue with." Oobleck replied to him.

____________________________

Qrow then lead the others towards the stairwell as thunder crashed. They paused for a moment, hesitating before Qrow looked back at them.

"Okay, go ahead. Come on. Go ahead." Qrow told his colleagues as he waved his arm over to the stairs.

Oobleck and Taiyang entered through the torn up doorways after Qrow, a piece of the doorway falling off beside Oobleck as Ozpin looked at it with worry.

"Watch it. Go ahead." Qrow warned Ozpin as he motioned for him to come forth as well.

"Looks I'm also the brave one here." Qrow said as he puffed out his chest in pride.

"I'd say we're just cautious of the potential danger of the hallway collapsing on top of us." Ozpin replied to Qrow.

"Need we also remind you of the Slimer incident?" Oobleck rose his brow.

"Hey, I was caught off guard." Qrow retorted.

"You literally stood still and screamed while he flew over to you." Tai pointed out.

Just as Qrow tried to throw out a retort, he paused to give his old friend's words some thought. "Okay... yeah, you got me there."

Zuul and Vinz had lifted their heads up, spreading their arms out as a purple thunder crashed onto the crown of the roof in front of a red and black sky. Rumbling was heard as electricity zapped throughout the roof, shooting down and splitting up to surge through Zuul and Vinz before meeting in the middle, forming a triangle of sorts. The electricity was then directed to the stone house where the crown of the roof sat upon. From there, the front wall began to open up like a doorway, letting through a bright and haunting white light.

Everyone stared to the screen with a mix of awe and wariness, waiting in expectation as to what would come from the doorway.

"Looks like they're a little late at stopping Zuul and Vinz." Ilia said in slight concern.

"Usually a bright, white light is supposed to be a good thing." Ruby said as she gave the bright light an apprehensive look. "But that white light looks far from being good."

The Ghostbusters had made their way up the stairs in time to see this event happen, all of them look up in shock at the sight before they continued on.

The electricity continued to surge through the doors until they had opened completely, leaving the rest of the purple electricity to surge through Zuul and Vinz.

The Ghostbusters had sneaked around to see the electricity surge through the two possessed people, their bodies flailing about.

"Willow!" Qrow tried to call out to the possessed woman.

Zuul and Vinz then lowered down onto their hands and feet before the electricity pushed towards the two, transforming them back into Terror Dogs.

""Aah!"" The Ghostbusters all shouted as they moved back from the gust of the electricity.

""Mother!"" Weiss and Winter shouted In horror.

"Oh, shit." Qrow swore with wide eyes.

____________________________

With their hair frazzled and disheveled, the Ghostbusters started to move forward again, staring at the Terror Dogs with still looks.

Qrow particularly looked towards Zuul, the Terror Dog that had possessed Willow Schnee and turned her body into that of a horned and hellish beast.

Zuul and Vinz looked over to the Ghostbusters, their hellish red eyes boring into them as they roared.

With shocked looks all around, Qrow turned his face towards Oobleck. "Okay, so... she's a dog."

"My mother... was just turned into a Terror Dog." Weiss said with horrified eyes.

"I-I'm sure there's a way to reverse it." Ruby tried to comfort her partner. "They just gotta stop Gozer, Zuul, and Vinz, and I'm sure they can revert Willow back to normal."

"It might also help to remind you that as painful as this may seem to you, it's still a different version of your mother." Blake reminded Weiss. "No matter how bad some of these universes may get, we still have to remember they're not our reality."

Weiss took in the words of her teammates, her visage still a little shaky as to what happened to her mother on screen, though nodded in acceptance nonetheless.

"Don't fret too much Weiss. Remember, my dad, Uncle Qrow, Professor Ozpin, and Doctor Oobleck are on the job." Yang told Weiss with a supportive smile. "And they've been nothing if not relentless."

"I suppose that does put me more at ease. If only by a small margin." Weiss said, though still casting a look of concern to the screen.

Winter had originally looked to Weiss with concern. Unlike herself, Winter knew Weiss had the better memories of when their family was picture-perfect. She knew Weiss cared about their mother, and she knew she would be the more heartbroken if something bad had happened to her. But when Winter had looked over to Weiss, she was quick to find her teammates there to comfort her to the best of their abilities.

"Despite their... colorful characteristics, it's good to see that Weiss has friends who care for her." Winter thought herself, faintly smiling to her sister.

Vinz growled as he leapt from his pedestal and towards the doorway, soon followed by Zuul. Entering through the doorway they ran up a pink crystalline staircase with led to a blue crystalline doorway that stood in front of a triangular temple that glowed a bright yellow at the top of its peak, dark clouds surrounding it.

"Basic, yet ominous." Ironwood commented with a wary look.

"The Ghost world." Ozpin said with a frown.

"So this is the ghost world." Cinder thought to herself upon hearing Ozpin's words. "There's certainly a strong and eerie aura radiating off of it. Far greater than what could be felt from the Dragon continent."

The Terror Dogs had taken their places on crystalline pedestals by the staircase, just as the Ghostbusters walked over to spot the sight. They took a few steps towards the structure as mist flowed all around the floor. They looked to the crystalline doorway which had begun to open up. They watched a bright light slowly flooded its way out of the temple before it disappeared all together, leaving a singular figure in its place.

The Ghostbusters walked further as Oobleck squinted his eyes upon the sight. "It's a girl."

True to his observation, the figure they saw was of a feminine form with black flat-top hair and hellish red eyes. She was completely pale, covered in similarly colored, strange slime-like clothing and high heels. She walked over to Vinz, petting his head with her long-nailed hand.

"That is one weird looking chick." Roman said with a unnerved face.

"Huh. I thought Gozer was going to come out from that temple." Ruby blinked a bit in surprise before frowning. "But that woman is very creepy. Worse than the Grey Lady."

Ozpin narrowed his eyes at the screen, carefully analyzing the supernatural woman before thinking to himself. "If there's one thing I know about gods, it's that they tend to be able to take on whatever form they please. Perhaps this woman isn't a woman at all."

"It's Gozer." Ozpin voiced in realization.

"I thought Gozer was a man." Tai responded to Ozpin.

"It's whatever it wants to be." Ozpin informed as they all looked upon the feminine form of Gozer.

____________________________

"Oh, so that is Gozer." Ruby said in realization.

"If Gozer can be whatever he wants to be, does that qualify as genderless?" Penny questioned.

"Um, I think that might be something you have to ask Blake, or Vortech, or one of the teachers about." Ruby told Penny. "I, uh, I don't know how to explain your question."

Hearing this Penny then shifted her eyes over to Blake, who eventually met them.

"Well if Gozer can take any form, I guess he would technically be genderless." Blake hazarded a guess. "But Gozer may prefer being referred to as male."

"Is Blake right?" Penny then asked Vortech.

"That's pretty much the gist of it. Yes." Vortech nodded to Penny.

"I see." Penny nodded in return before looking back at the viewing screen.

"Well, whatever it is, it's gotta get by us." Qrow declared.

"Right." Oobleck concurred with Qrow before looking back at Gozer.

There was a small moment of silence as they Ghostbusters looked up at Gozer, before Qrow spoke up again. "Go get her, Barty!"

Oobleck lowered his eyes in confusion and surprise before slowly turning his head towards Qrow. Looking back at Oobleck in return, Qrow gave the green-haired scientist a confident nod.

"Wait, why am I being told to go first?" Oobleck immediately asked.

"I think it may be a callback to when we first viewed the Ghostbusters' universe." Ironwood said. "When your counterpart told Ozpin and Qrow to jump the Grey Lady back at the library."

"Oh... right." Oobleck realized, remembering that incident.

"I got back at Peck, and now I'm finally getting back at Bart for that shit-poor plan." Qrow chuckled with a smirk. "Hehe. I'm on a roll."

With an unsure and wary look, Oobleck looked back to Gozer, who still petted Vinz, causing the Terror Dog to lowly growl in appreciation.

Oobleck then took a few steps up the crystalline and mist covered staircase as Gozer moved from Vinz. "Gozer the Gozerian?!"

This had caught Gozer's attention, causing it to turn towards Oobleck, staring at him with its blood red eyes.

"Good evening!" Oobleck nodded to Gozer as he walked a bit closer. "As a duly designated representative of the city, county, and state of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension!"

Qrow blinked at what Oobleck said before giving his input. "That ought to do it. Thanks very much, Barty."

"Very formal." Sienna commented. "At the very least you're specifically getting your point across for Gozer to leave. Personally, I would have issued something more threatening."

"Well, this is Bartholomew Oobleck we're talking about here. He's blunt and precise at the same time." Qrow stated.

"I'd wager that my counterpart's speech to Gozer was very acceptable." Oobleck said with a firm nod. "All that counts now is if Gozer will accept it."

"He probably won't." Tai said.

"Probably not." Oobleck spoke in immediate agreement.

Qrow then shared a look Ozpin as the latter rose his brow.

"Are you a god?" Gozer's feminine voice bellowed out like an echo through a cave.

The echoing and paranormal tone of voice Gozer spoke in had sent a shiver down the spines of most in the audience.

"I guess Zuul isn't the only one with a lovely singing voice." Roman snarled while trying to save face.

"With a voice like that, I can definitely see Gozer as a big, bad, powerful entity." Ruby said as she gave Gozer an even greater wary look than what she had before.

Unsure what to do, Oobleck looked back to Qrow. Qrow gave Oobleck a nod, raising his a fist a bit in a 'you've got this' manner. Seeing this, Oobleck looked at Gozer again, giving a shrugging tilt of his head as he gave his answer. "No!"

"Then..." Gozer trailed off as it moved its arms out to the side before bringing them back forward, shooting out a pink and ghostly electricity. "Die!"

The Ghostbusters were all hit with the electricity, all of them screaming in pain as they were forced away from the crystalline stairs and near the edge of the roof. Zuul and Vinz growled at the sight as the Ghostbusters were pushed so far away that their legs were dangling over the side of the building's peak.

"No!" Ruby shouted in fear.

"Don't die. Don't die." Yang swore over and over.

"Uh-oh." Tai immediately said in worry.

"Ooh! That's gotta sting." Qrow winced.

"Being shot at by electricity is not a fun feeling for anyone without an electricity-based semblance. Believe me." Ren winced as well. "I can only assume that doubles for paranormal electricity."

"It was a one-time misfire, Ren. I said I was sorry!" Nora told her partner. Though she did look back at the screen with a wince. "But, yeah. Even with aura, and my semblance, I probably wouldn't do well getting struck by Gozer's lightening."

Down below the crowd screamed as they watched the ghostly electricity zap out from the towering building's crown before it subsided.

Qrow began to help Ozpin and Oobleck away from the edge while Taiyang had been throne onto the stone bench, helping Qrow pull the other two up.

"Barty... when someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes!" Taiyang berated Oobleck from his spot at the bench, prompting Oobleck to nod.

"Probably best only in the case of a malevolent deity, but duly noted." Oobleck said.

"Yeah, that situation could have gone better." Tai said, wincing at the thought of scene.

____________________________

"All right." Qrow began to speak through pained breath. "This chick is toast!"

Gozer, Zuul, and Vinz watched as the Ghostbusters all got back up, walking towards the doorway.

"You got that right." Qrow said with a stern look.

"Time to kick Gozer's godly ass!" Nora cheered.

"What Nora said!" Ruby shouted in agreement.

____________________________

"Got your stick..." Qrow said as all four of them pulled out their neutrino wands.

""Holding it.""

"Heat 'em up!" Qrow stated as the Ghostbusters got closer to Gozer.

""Smoking."" Ozpin, Oobleck, and Taiyang said as they activated the wands.

Gozer then got down into a crouching position, hissing towards the Ghostbusters.

"Make 'em hot!" Qrow called out.

""Ready!"" They all declared as they finished prepping the wands.

"Let's show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown." Qrow told his colleagues as he squinted he eyes towards Gozer.

"Badass." Qrow smirked towards the screen. "Gotta remember that one with Salem."

"That is such an awesome line." Jaune said in awe.

"I actually feel a little bit inspired from that." Mercury admitted in stunned surprise.

"That's Uncle Qrow for you." Yang smirked as well. "Sometimes he's drunk, and sometimes he's coolest guy on Remnant."

Gozer looked at Ghostbusters, growling as it prepared to make a move.

"Throw it!" Qrow ordered.

All four Ghostbusters activated their proton streams, firing them Gozer's way.

Gozer growled before leaping over the oncoming proton stream, Zuul, Vinz, and the Ghostbusters watching as Gozer flipped all the way onto the stone bench behind the paranormal investigators.

"Nimble little minx, isn't she?" Qrow commented in regards to Gozer as the Ghostbusters turned around to face the God of destruction.

"Pretty high jump." Blake complimented. "It seems Gozer's very agile."

"He'll definitely make it difficult for the Ghostbusters to hit him." Ilia said.

"But the fact that Gozer is actively dodging the proton streams proves that the Ghostbusters can use them to take him down and out." Ruby said as she grew a firm and determined look.

"We better go full-stream." Ozpin advised.

"Aim for the flat top!" Oobleck called out before the Ghostbusters fired their proton streams at Gozer once more.

Gozer stood their, spreading its arms out as the proton stream shot at it. Then, from out of the blue, Gozer vanished.

The Ghostbusters stood there in confusion, Qrow and Oobleck sharing a look as Ozpin and Taiyang walked over to the now vacant stone bench.

"Huh." Ruby blinked in surprise. "I, um... I didn't think it'd be that fast."

"He just... disappeared." Jaune spoke in equal surprise as he darted his eyes all over the screen. "Did they get him?"

"I'm... I'm not sure." Pyrrha said in confusion.

"It couldn't have been that easy." Weiss frowned a bit. "Could it?"

"There has to be more than just that." Cinder said with a raised brow. "Gods are not referred to as such without being immensely powerful, and somewhat immortal."

Qrow narrowed his eyes at the screen as chill ran down his spine. "Yeah... I have a bad feeling about this."

"As do I." Ozpin said with a frown.

"Wasn't so hard." Qrow said before he and Oobleck followed Ozpin and Taiyang.

Oobleck looked around with an astonished look as he spoke to his colleagues. "We neutronized it. Do you know what that means? A complete particle reversal."

"And we had the tools. We had talent!" Tai cheered out with a bright smile.

"It's Miller time." Qrow said as he held out his hand, from which Oobleck and Taiyang gladly placed their hands upon in celebration.

"I think partying might be premature at the moment." Sienna said as she too felt that something bad was about to transpire.

"Agreed." Ironwood said with a concerned look.

____________________________

However, Ozpin didn't look as pleased, holding out one of his devices as he scanned the area. "Barty... this looks extraordinarily bad."

Ozpin showed Oobleck the readings the device was taking, causing the latter to give a worried look. "Oh, no."

"What?" Tai asked in confusion.

Low rumbling and creaking was heard at the roof of the building, causing the Ghostbusters to look up and around.

"This is going to be so bad. I just know it." Ruby winced as she expected the worse.

"Yes. I believe it is a safe and accurate assumption to say that the Ghostbusters did not neutronize Gozer." Penny spoke in concern

"I think Gozer is about to pull out his trump card." Jaune said in worry.

____________________________

Soon enough, small stone and pieces of the house atop the roof started to fall down. A zapping was heard throughout the area, causing the Ghostbusters to jolt a bit.

"Look out!" Ozpin shouted as the Ghostbusters started to shield themselves and move out of the way of the falling debris.

Part of the stone a house, an angry, ornate stone figurehead had then fallen off just as the Ghostbusters started to take cover by the stone bench. The figurehead tumbled off the edge of the roof and down into the streets below.

The people in the streets screamed in fear and terror as the debris from the roof began to fall onto them. They all started to run around in panic as they tried to avoid the falling debris.

"Sub-creatures. Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, the Traveler has come!" Gozer's voice echoed out from the black clouds, causing everyone to look to the sky. "Choose and perish."

"Evil voice in the sky." Yang commented with a grimace. "Oh, things are about to get really ugly."

"Listed out the resume and everything." Mercury stated while eating some popcorn, his attention completely on the screen. "Shit is about to be forecasted to rain down hard."

"Choose and perish." Ruby quoted with furrowed eyes. "What does that mean?"

"Other than stating the obvious that it's bad, it's hard to say." Ilia replied to Ruby.

"What do you mean choose?!" Oobleck called out to the sky. "We don't understand!"

"Choose." Gozer declared as thunder and lighting rumbled in the sky. "Choose the form of the Destructor!"

"Oh, I get it! I get it!" Qrow called out to Gozer. "Oh, ho, ho. Very cute."

"Whatever we think of..." Qrow told the others as they looked over to him. "If we think of J. Edgar Hoover, J. Edgar Hoover will appear and destroy us. Okay? So empty your heads."

"So Gozer can't destroy their world until they choose a form for him." Glynda surmised.

"Honorable in a cruel and evil way." Port scowled at the screen.

"It's a taunt to the people of this Remnant." Ozpin said with a serious look. "Gozer has come, and he will have them destroyed by their own choice of death."

"Pick your poison seems like such a small phrase now." Roman shook his head with a nervous chuckle.

"Well the flaw in that is that we just won't think of anything." Qrow replied. "Like the other me said, Gozer can't destroy us without us choosing a from for him."

"The flaw in that logic, however, is someone is bound to think of something eventually." Oobleck told Qrow. "Whether it be us or from any person in New York."

"We just have wait Gozer out and come up with a plan." Qrow retorted with an assured look. "We stop Gozer before any real damage can be done."

Upon hearing this Taiyang immediately did his best not to think of anything while Oobleck looked off to the side as Qrow continued to tell them not to think. "Empty your heads. Don't think of anything! We've only got one shot at this."

"The choice is made." Gozer suddenly called out from the clouds.

"Whoa! Ho—ho... whoa." Qrow called out to Gozer in a surprised tone as Taiyang and Oobleck looked up in shock.

"The Traveler has come!" Gozer declared.

"Excuse me?!" Qrow shouted to the screen. "How? Who?!"

"That was far too quick." Winter said with a frown. "Someone slipped up right when Qrow suggested for everyone to empty their heads."

"Who was it though?" Tai asked as he looked between Qrow, Ozpin, and Oobleck. "Qrow suggested the idea, and I looked like I was really trying not to think. Was it Ozpin or Oobleck?"

Hearing this, Ozpin and Oobleck looked to each other with concerned looks.

"What could have Professor Ozpin or Doctor Oobleck thought of?" Weiss asked in wariness.

"The headmaster of Beacon and our history teacher?" Yang rhetorically asked before shaking her head. "Gee, it's hard to guess."

"Nobody "choosed" anything!" Qrow denied to Gozer before pointing at Ozpin. "Did you choose anything?"

"No." Ozpin stated in shock.

"Did you?!" Qrow asked as he turned to Taiyang.

"My mind was totally blank." Taiyang replied to him.

"I didn't choose anything!" Qrow called out to Gozer.

However after the three of them had stated they did not choose a form for Gozer, Oobleck started to slowly back up, his footsteps quick to getting the attention of the others. They gave him confused looks for a moment before realization dawned on the three of them as they then walked towards Oobleck.

Immediately Oobleck felt as if the weight of the world had fallen onto him. "It was me. I ruined the plan. I've doomed us all."

"Well, I doubt it was intentional." Qrow said while pinching the bridge of his nose with a sigh. "We just have more to deal with."

"Doctor Oobleck mucked up?" Nora asked in surprise. "What did he think of?"

"I'm certain we're about to find out." Ren said with a frown.

"I couldn't help it." Oobleck admitted in a horrified tone as Ozpin, Qrow, and Taiyang looked at him. "It just popped in there."

"What?" Qrow asked in a serious tone. "What "just popped in there"?"

"I... I... I tried to think." Oobleck began to explain.

"Well, there's your first and only problem." Roman remarked with a deadpan.

"I'm a very active person. Thinking is most all I ever do." Oobleck said in defense, though not without looking down sullenly. "Dear God, we were doomed from the start."

"Look!" Ozpin suddenly shouted out to the others, pointing off to the side of the building.

"No, it can't be." Oobleck denied as the Ghostbusters went over to the side of the roof, heavy thudding being heard amidst the screams of the people down below.

"Anyone else hear that?" Blake asked as her bow stood straight.

"I-I think I did." Ruby said as she turned her head, directing her ear to the screen while glancing at it. "What am I hearing? Is that thumping?"

"They're thuds." Sienna said, her ears on high alert, her eyes straight at the screen. "Something big is headed the Ghostbusters' way. Something very big."

"What is it?!" Qrow demanded to know as the Ghostbusters ran over to see what the commotion was.

"It can't be!" Oobleck denied again.

"What did you do, Barty?" Qrow asked again.

"Oh, shit!" Taiyang commented at what he saw.

Oobleck looked on in horror as a large and white shape moved through the buildings of New York City, creating slow and heavy footsteps as it walked.

Everyone widened their eyes at what was walking between the buildings. Most looking to the screen in apprehension, while a few looked in intrigue.

"What have I unleashed?" Oobleck asked in horror.

Qrow held a disbelieving look as he looked over to Oobleck.

Oobleck, who still held his frozen and horrified look, stated as to what they were all seeing. "It's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man."

A round, white and fluffy giant roamed through the streets. It's entire body was made up of various sizes of marshmallows. It's head and eyes seemed almost cartoon-like as it wore a white, navy blue rimmed sailors hat that read: "Stay Puft" with a navy blue and white trimmed collar with a red neck tie at the bottom of it.

Everyone stared at the screen with gobsmacked expressions. It was safe to say no one would ever have expected this.

"Oh my God..." Ruby trailed off in shock and horror. "It's a giant walking marshmallow."

"A giant evil walking marshmallow!" Nora shouted while pointing her finger to the screen.

"That... is a very unique way to both terrify people, and destroy the world." Penny spoke, unsure how she felt towards the giant marshmallow man.

"What..." Cinder trailed off in immense confusion while Emerald looked to the screen with her jaw hanging down.

"The fuck?" Sienna whispered in total bewilderment.

"Well that's a new one." Ozpin blinked in shock.

"This is what Barty thought of?" Glynda asked with a face of disconcertment.

"Huh." Qrow muttered as he and Tai shared a befuddled look.

"I... I don't have any words." Ironwood blinked with wide eyes. "I'm both dumbfounded and horrified beyond belief."

"I'm on the same page as you, sir." Winter agreed with Ironwood with a similar look.

"My word." Pietro said with wide eyes. He removed his glasses for a moment to wipe them off a bit before placing them back on and blinking at what stood before the audience.

"You've done it now, Barty." Port said as his eyes bulged in shock.

"How could I think of the one confection I loved most as a child?" Oobleck asked in absolute dread.

"The end of the world is going to be from a giant, sugary confection." Pyrrha said in perturbed astonishment.

"It looks so delicious, yet so evil." Jaune said in horror.

"The world's going to end, and it's going to be at the hands of a walking desert." Mercury uttered before laughing a bit at the absurdity. "I mean, come on, this is both horrifying and stupid at the same time."

'I always knew sugar would kill the world.' Neo signed with wide eyes.

"Neo. I am stupefied and terrified." Roman said as stared at the screen. "I think I finally understand the definition of insanity."

"A form is chosen for Gozer, and it's a marshmallow of all things." Weiss said before shaking her head. "I've lost all sense of reasoning."

"You and me both." Ilia said as her eyes were glued to the screen.

"My brain hurts." Blake said as she rubbed her temples. "Giant robots, demons, and ghosts are one thing, but this... this a new category of "What in the hell" all together."

The sight of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man sent all of traffic into a fluke as cars hit and crashed into each other. People started to get out of their vehicles as they ran away screaming in terror, hopping over the cars while sirens wailed as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man moved his way over to them, giving out a few roars and snarls with a wide and plastic smile on his face.

"Well, there's something you don't see every day." Qrow commented with a frozen face.

"Now there's an understatement." Qrow pointed to the screen with his flask in hand. He then promptly took a few chugs from said flask.

____________________________

"I tried to think of the most harmless thing." Oobleck tried to explain as he watched on in horror. "Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never, ever possibly destroy us. Mr. Stay Puft."

Qrow continued to stare at the giant marshmallow man with an agape jaw before glancing over to Oobleck. "Nice thinking, Barty."

"At the very least, you tried to think of the least dangerous thing possible." Winter said in Oobleck's defense.

"That may be so, but it still seems Gozer made his own spin to what I chose." Oobleck replied with a frown.

"It could have been worse." Ironwood offered the history teacher. "You could have thought of a cactus."

"Or a dinosaur." Ruby added.

"Or a killer robot." Penny opted.

"Or a tornado." Taiyang said.

"Or a dragon." Yang voiced her two cents

"I believe I get the point now. Thank you." Oobleck promptly replied to those that spoke.

"We used to roast Stay Puft marshmallows by the fire at Camp Waconda." Oobleck continued to speak as Qrow looked at him, Ozpin and Taiyang continuing to look towards Stay Puft.

Oobleck shook his head in horror as Qrow then began to talk to Ozpin. "Barty has gone bye-bye, Ozpin. What have you got left?"

"Sorry, Branwen." Ozpin apologized to Qrow as looked down at the monstrous Stay Puft Marshmallow Man that terrorized the people in the streets, all while making its way towards the apartment complex. "I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought."

"Even Professor Ozpin doesn't have an idea what to do." Ruby said with worry.

"That has to be one of the worst signs imaginable." Weiss voiced in agreement.

"If only you all knew just what kind of fool Ozpin truly is." Cinder thought to herself as she glanced over to the Beacon students.

"I can't blame my counterpart." Ozpin said in agreement with his Ghostbuster self, though also wincing at Ruby's words. "The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is very jarring."

"Well, I mean, look, this guy took the form of a giant marshmallow." Qrow said with his arms out. "We can use this to our advantage. We use the proton packs to roast this sucker like a s'more."

"Assuming the protons streams will be enough." Pietro added in. "Gozer's form, upon arriving to their world, may have been easy to shoot at, but given the immense size of this marshmallow man, it would take too long to cover all of him with the blasts of the streams."

"So long as Mr. Stay Puft burns, we can kill him ." Qrow pointed to Pietro.

It was chaos in the streets as everyone continued to run away from the giant marshmallow man whom roared at the people down below. Stay Puft then looked up to the Ghostbusters, giving them an evil expression with his eyes scowling and his grin still wide.

"Oh, no." Taiyang said in frozen horror.

"Mother pus-bucket..." Qrow trailed off in his sweat.

"Never would I have thought a marshmallow could give me future nightmares." Yang said with a fear-driven chuckle.

"He is not a very friendly marshmallow man." Penny said with a terrified look.

"Stay Puft just went from cute and horrifying to evil and horrifying." Pyrrha said while looking at the marshmallow man with wariness.

"I can't believe I'm actually feeling afraid from a giant marshmallow." Emerald said in disbelief as she somewhat squirmed in her seat.

Amidst the streets, Walter Peck stood around, watching as people ran away before looking up in shock and horror as he watched the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man step down onto a church near the apartment complex, destroying part of it.

"Nobody steps on a church in my town!" Qrow declared as he shouted to Stay Puft.

"Oh, now he's crossed the line." Qrow said with fury in his eyes.

____________________________

"One... two... three..." Oobleck counted up as he aimed his proton wand down at Stay Puft. "Roast him!"

The Ghostbusters then proceeded to fire their proton wands at Stay Puft, zapping him as the giant marshmallow man grew a pained and angry face. People screamed down below at Stay Puft before the Ghostbusters eventually let their proton wands cool down. Stay Puft moaned in pain as his arms and neck had been set aflame.

Qrow widened his eyes as he and the others watched Stay Puft hug onto the building, sending the flames that covered him up towards the Ghostbusters.

The Ghostbusters rose their arms up as the flames reached their level, causing them to retreat into a nearby corner, all of them crouching next to each other.

Qrow blinked in surprise with a slight twinge of fear. "Okay so... roasting him is going to be harder than it sounds."

"I'd hate to say I told you so." Pietro said with a wince.

"At least the proton streams hurt Stay Puft." Ruby said, though not without showing fear. "Even if the flames make him look more terrifying."

"We're going to need a more sturdy plan." Tai sighed while shaking his head. "Or bigger proton packs."

"Funny, us going out like this." Oobleck commented. "Killed by a hundred-foot marshmallow man."

"We've been going about this all wrong." Qrow said. "This Mr. Stay Puft is okay. He's a sailor. He's in New York. We get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble."

Back with Stay Puft, he held an angered expression as he began to climb the apartment complex, the flames still surrounding him and burning parts of his marshmallow skin.

"I think he's a little too pissed to have sex." Roman remarked with a schooled look, yet completely terrified on the inside.

'Not that you could find someone to have sex with him.' Neo signed.

____________________________

"I have a radical idea." Ozpin suddenly threw out. "The door swings both ways. We could reverse the particle flow through the gate."

"How?" Oobleck asked Ozpin.

Ozpin looked down for a moment, hesitant to answer at first before looking back up to his colleagues. "We'll cross the streams."

"Wait, what?" Ruby asked with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry. Wasn't that a bad idea?" Qrow asked, completely taken aback. "More specifically, wasn't that the most important bad idea?"

"My counterpart and Oobleck did say crossing the streams would reverse particles." Ozpin said with a wary look. "Though I don't particularly agree with this either."

"It's a complete suicide mission." Glynda exclaimed.

"What's this about crossing the proton streams?" Cinder opted to ask.

"According to Ghostbuster Ozpin, if they cross the streams, they could potentially explode." Yang said as she gave the screen a hazarded look.

"That doesn't sound like a pretty way to go out." Mercury commented.

"Hmm... If they do go with this plan, it might just be fun to watch." Cinder thought to herself after the fact.

"Excuse me. Ozpin." Qrow spoke to Ozpin with a displeased look. "You said crossing the streams was bad."

"Cross the streams..." Oobleck trailed off in horrified realization, wincing.

"You're going to endanger us." Qrow told Ozpin. "You're going to endanger our client, the nice lady who paid us in advance before she became a dog."

"Not necessarily." Ozpin said, trying to defend his plan. "There's definitely a very slim chance we'll survive."

"Now you say there's a slim chance of survival?" Tai asked in disbelief towards the screen.

"This plan is last resort at best." Ironwood said. "There has to be another way."

It was at this moment that Ruby remembered something from the previews of the universes Vortech had shown them.

"The explosion on top of the building from the previews." Ruby said with a fear-ridden look. "Crossing the streams is what did it, didn't it?"

Those who had seen the previews all widened their eyes in realization as well. Most not liking the results.

"No, no. Mother's still being possessed by Zuul." Weiss's pupils dilated out of immense concern. "They have to save her!"

"The explosion from the preview didn't look like it was a slime chance of survival." Qrow said with a stern look.

Oobleck looked down in thought, rummaging through his mind before speaking. "Yet if our counterpart's don't do it, Gozer could end the world."

At this, Oobleck, Ozpin, Qrow, and Taiyang all shared looks with each other. They were all unsure at first, but the more they thought, the quicker they made up their minds.

"For the greater good." Ozpin muttered with sullen, yet calm expression.

"Gozer has to be stopped, and we're the only four at the disposal to do it." Tai came to terms with his counterpart's would-be fate.

"It'll be one hell of way to die fighting." Qrow commented before sighing. "I guess it's like they say. No good deed goes unpunished. Damned if we do. Damned if we don't."

"For the whole of Remnant." Oobleck stated, reviving nods from Ozpin, Qrow, and Taiyang.

Glynda, Port, Winter, and Ironwood looked to the four men with shocked looks, yet none said a word. They merely chose to stay silent and face back towards the screen.

Ruby, Yang, and Weiss looked over to the teachers' section with looks of dread and ever growing concern. They didn't want to see their respective family members die... yet there wasn't anything they could do. All they could do was moved their eyes back on the screen and hope for the best as the viewing continued.

Taiyang looked up with an exasperated look while Oobleck looked over at Qrow. Qrow glanced at Oobleck before looking back at Ozpin, whom rose his brow at Qrow.

"I love this plan!" Qrow suddenly told Ozpin as he lightly slapped Oobleck's cheek. "I'm excited to be a part of it! Let's do it."

"This job is definitely not worth another five a year." Taiyang commented as the Ghostbusters got up from their hiding spot and moved back over to Gozer's doorway.

Just as they did, Stay Puft's flame-engulfed hand rose up and latched onto the section of the roof the Ghostbusters were hiding in.

"Whoa!" Oobleck shouted as he jumped away from the large, flaming marshmallow hand.

"Hurry!" Ozpin said to the others as they stood at the doorway once more.

As they all got into positions, Qrow looked over to Oobleck. "See you on the other side, Barty."

Oobleck looked back at Qrow just as Qrow activated his proton stream, aiming towards the doorway.

"Nice working with you, Dr. Branwen." Oobleck smiled at Qrow before firing off his proton stream as well.

"Our final farewells." Qrow said as he rose his flask to the air. "It was fun seeing myself capture ghosts while it lasted."

"Agreed." Oobleck concurred.

Even Ozpin raised his mug slightly while giving a nod to the screen.

"At least we get to go out on our terms." Tai said with a sad smile, still not prepared to their Ghostbuster variants make the ultimate sacrifice.

Just as Stay Puft's flaming head rose up with a roar, Qrow and Oobleck brought their streams together, the two of them having some clear trouble in holding it together.

"Let's turn 'em on, Spengler!" Oobleck called out to Ozpin with a struggling look.

Ozpin and Taiyang then activated their proton streams, trying to cross them with Qrow's and Oobleck's as they all struggled in firing at the doorway.

Stay Puft loudly roared with wide eyes at what the Ghostbusters were attempting to do.

"Now, Spengler!" Oobleck shouted to Ozpin as all four of them brought the proton stream together.

The Ghostbusters all yelled in pain as the zapping sound of the combined proton streams became high-pitched, with Zuul and Vinz watching and unable to do anything as the combined proton streams had caused a large explosion to burst forth from the doorway.

The Ghostbusters all jumped away and retreated from the explosion as it burst forth, melting and tearing away Stay Puft's head and the rest of his body before the entire roof of the apartment complex exploded in flames, causing the rest of Stay Puft to explode as well.

"See you in hell, Gozer the Gozerian." Qrow spoke to the screen before taking a swing of his flask.

"The job is done at last." Ironwood gave a solemn nod. "Their world is safe. ...But not without a costly price."

Ruby, Yang, Weiss, even Winter felt something drop within their stomachs. The feeling of having lost someone starting to swell in each of them.

The people in the streets screamed as they watched stage explosion happen. What the Ghostbusters did had seemed to do the trick as the explosion of the doorway had started to cause the black clouds to disappear.

The people continued to chaotically scream and shout as they tried to run away from the falling debris of Stay Puft's melted remains. A good amount of the street had become covered in melted marshmallow as everyone scrambled around.

Peck in particular had wandered around in confusion and panic before looking up and immediately leaning over and covering his back with his arms as a mountain of melted marshmallow flooded down onto him, splashing down and covering him and the street as he hysterically screamed out.

Despite the bittersweet victory of the Ghostbusters, the audience couldn't help but chuckle at what happened to Peck.

"I needed that." Qrow said while chuckling.

"How's that for an illusion?" Sienna said with a giggle.

By now the black clouds had fully disappeared, leaving the night sky in its place with dawn starting to rise up not far away. All was quiet.

"They did it." Jaune said with in awe. "They really stopped Gozer."

"Their sacrifice paid off." Pyrrha said as she bowed her head in respect to the Ghostbusters. "The worst has past for their world."

"Men truly worthy of the titles of heroes." Port complimented the Ghostbusters while wiping away a single tear from his eye.

"They knew the risks and yet they were still able to succeed for Remnant." Winter gave a nod of respect to the screen. "They'll forever be remembered."

"So it would seem the plan of Dr. Merlot's counterpart didn't succeed in the end. But at least I got to see Ozpin and his little bird explode." Cinder thought to herself as she ate some popcorn out of Emerald's bucket. "Then again, Ivo Merlot wanted all life on his world wiped away. Perhaps it wasn't such a terrible thing that he failed."

Meanwhile, Ruby leaned forward in her seat, staring expectantly at the screen with a sad yet determined look, whispering to herself. "Please let them be alive. Come on..."

Back atop the apartment complex there was stone debris, melted marshmallow, smoke, and a few small flames everywhere. The doorway to Gozer's temple had been destroyed, revealing now a mere pathway that showed the rest of New York. Zuul and Vinz had been fried and turned into charcoaled statues.

Oobleck, who had been covered entirely in marshmallow, groaned as he regained consciousness. "Taiyang?"

"Ah..." Taiyang breathed out, having been beside Oobleck and covered in marshmallow himself.

"Are you all right?" Oobleck asked him.

"Yeah. Yeah." Taiyang replied with a small chuckle.

The two shakily started to get up from the corner they had ducked into.

"They're alive." Ruby began to brightly smile. "Their alive! Yes!"

"Thank God." Yang gave a chuckling sigh. "They have had way too many close calls."

"Looks like we go through that slim chance you spoke of, Oz." Qrow chuckled in joy.

"We're covered in marshmallow goop, but I can see your see your sentiment." Ozpin calmly chuckled in agreement.

"No one died and Gozer got kicked out." Tai said with a happy smile while dusting off his hands. "Talk about a win-win."

"You all got seriously lucky right there." Roman said with an almost impressed look. "Especially given the size of that explosion."

"I really thought they died there." Nora giggled in relief. "Never have I been so happy to be wrong."

"I think we can all agree to that." Pyrrha said as she and Jaune smiled in agreement.

Meanwhile, Cinder inwardly frowned at the screen. "So they actually survived... That's a pity."

"Branwen?" Oobleck called out to Qrow, trying to see where he was. "Spengler? Branwen?"

"Ahh." Ozpin groaned as he got up from his spot, covered in marshmallow as well. "Ack."

"Spengler?" Oobleck asked Ozpin as he and Tai walked over to him. "Oh, Spengler. Oh, are you okay?"

"I feel like the floor of a taxi cab." Ozpin replied in disgust.

Glynda couldn't help but snort out a giggle or two at hearing this.

"That does not sound sanitary." Ozpin commented, though he couldn't get rid of the happy smile on his face that he and his friends came out of the fight with Gozer, alive.

"Brawny?!" Oobleck called out to Qrow again.

"Yeah, I'm all right." Qrow finally answered him. Compared to his compatriots, Qrow was covered in the least amount of marshmallow, only having a few small spots on him.

____________________________

"Huh. And I'm the one with the least amount of marshmallow on him." Qrow said as he beamed ever more so. "I'm liking this ending."

"Talk about irony." Ozpin replied to Qrow, though not without humor in his tone.

"I guess the three of us are chopped liver." Tai remarked while motioning to himself, Ozpin, and Oobleck.

"Oh, thank God. Oh. You okay?" Oobleck asked Ozpin as Taiyang gave a chuckle.

"I'm all right." Ozpin replied.

"You all right?" Oobleck asked Tai.

"I'm all right. You all right?" Tai asked Oobleck.

"Yeah." Oobleck answered before turning to Qrow. "You okay?"

"Fine." Qrow simply answered before the four of them started to walk towards the broken doorway.

"Oh, smells like barbecued dog hair." Oobleck said in slight repulsion.

However, Qrow merely stared at the flipped over and charcoaled statue of Zuul, giving it a schooled yet sullen look.

"Oh, Branwen." Oobleck immediately reazlied. "Oh, Branwen, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I-I just... I just forgot."

Qrow turned around to cast Oobleck a look as Oobleck and Taiyang lowered their heads. Qrow then looked away as he began to walk off.

And like that, the joyful mood started to turn bitter.

"No..." Weiss muttered with wide eyes, tears threatening to spill before lowering her head in sadness.

Ruby, Yang, and Blake all gave soft and sympathetic looks towards Weiss, with Ruby placing a comforting hand on her partner's shoulder. Ilia had glanced over to Weiss, taking note of her expression over losing her mother, even if this Willow wasn't actually Weiss's mother. For a split second, she had given Weiss a sympathetic look as well before turning away, schooling her features.

Winter was frozen in her seat, her hands shaking while grasping the arms of her chair.

Qrow's mood had changed as well. He stared at the screen, recalling the feelings his counterpart had for Willow. He sighed while shaking his head. "Guess I'm not so lucky in the end."

Just as he did though, something started to poke out of the front leg of Zuul, revealing it to be several human fingers. Zuul's paw fell off, getting Qrow's attention as he and the others saw a hand tried to climb its way out, a woman tiredly moaning from inside the Terror Dog statue.

Penny had been the first to notice this, gasping as she pointed to the screen. "Weiss, look!"

Weiss immediately raised her head, her eyes darting to the screen.

"Look!" Oobleck called out in surprise as Qrow began to walk back over to Zuul's statue.

Qrow then started to tear away at some of the statue, hitting the leg with his hand to loosen it up as Ozpin, Oobleck, and Taiyang began to help. All four Ghostbusters began to break apart and tear away the remains of Zuul, moving them piece by piece before Willow was shown inside, alive and breathing-albeit covered in soot.

"Oh..." Willow gasped in a haze as Qrow brought her into his arms, carefully trying to get her out from the rest of Zuul's remains.

"She's alive!" Weiss shouted with a relieved and happy smile, finding herself hugging Ruby out of joy. "Oh, thank God."

"Too tight. A little too tight." Ruby squirmed out as Weiss's hug was somewhat constricting her breath.

"Oh... my apologies." Weiss replied to Ruby with a sheepish look as she retracted her hug.

Winter smiled at her mother's counterpart being alive while Qrow couldn't help but smile as well.

"I guess I really can get that lucky." Qrow inwardly chuckled to himself.

"Somebody, turn on the lights!" Louis suddenly shouted as he got up Vinz's remains, the Terror Dog's charcoaled head on his own. "Help! Somebody?"

"Go check on that little guy." Qrow pointed towards Louis as Ozpin, Oobleck, and Taiyang went over to Louis.

"Oh, right." Weiss blinked her eyes a bit after having wiped away her tears from earlier. "Louis was also possessed."

"And you were mad that the rich people in that restaurant ignored him." Ilia gave Weiss a dry look.

"I-I'm sorry, okay? I was distracted by all the other madness that was in this viewing." Weiss replied to Ilia with an embarrassed look.

"Wow. Everyone got out of that explosion alive." Roman remarked. "That's some real dumb luck right there."

'And they all lived happily ever after.' Neo signed.

"What happened?" Louis asked as Ozpin took off the Terror Dog's head from Louis's.

Qrow carried out Willow from the Terror Dog statue, setting her on her feet as her arms were wrapped around his neck.

"Oh. Oh. Oh, where am I?" Willow asked as she regained consciousness, opening her to find herself in Qrow's arms. "Oh. Hi."

"You'll be all right." Ozpin told Louis as he and Oobleck helped him over some debris.

"Boy, the superintendent's going to be pissed." Louis commented as he looked at the destroyed roof.

"I think he can let something like this slide." Jaune waved Louis off.

"Nobody's gonna cry over destroyed, evil architecture." Nora said while shaking her head. "Especially not when it needed to be done to save the world."

"Are you okay?" Oobleck asked Louis as he and Ozpin helped him down.

Louis looked around at the Ghostbusters in confusion. "Who are you guys?"

"We're the Ghostbusters." Oobleck answered Louis.

Louis looked at them up and down, turning to Ozpin before looking back at Oobleck. "Who does your taxes?"

"You know, Mr. Tully, you are a most fortunate individual." Oobleck informed Louis as Qrow helped Willow to walk.

"I know." Louis told Oobleck as he walked between him and Ozpin.

"You have been a participant in the biggest inter-dimensional cross rip since the Tunguska blast of 1909." Oobleck told Louis.

"If felt great." Louis commented.

"We'd like to get a sample of your brain tissue." Ozpin then told Louis.

"Okay." Louis dumbly answered as they continued to walk off.

"I think he's still out of it. No one's ever that willing to have part of their brain extracted." Pietro commented.

"I'd wager it's more weird hearing Ozpin ask for the brain tissue." Ironwood said. "But he is the most serious in regards to their more scientific work, so I suppose it's par for the course."

"I collect spores, molds, and fungus. I do believe that's what my counterpart said." Ozpin humorously quoted while replying to Ironwood.

Taiyang stood some distance behind them, his hand on his hips as he looked out to city around all of them before smiling and throwing his hands to the air. "I love this town! Ha ha!"

"Whoo!" Tai cheered with a clap of his hands as well.

Taiyang then promptly rose his hand up to Qrow, prompting the usually drunk huntsman to concede and high-five his old teammate.

"They came, they saw, they kicked Gozer's ass!" Yang cheerfully smirked.

"And everyone's alive to tell the tale." Weiss smiled.

"Let it be a lesson to him, if Gozer ever tries to come back." Ruby said with a confident smile.

"And if he does, the Ghostbusters will know how to stop him." Blake added with a smile, nodding her head.

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

The Ghostbusters were shown back in the streets of New York, having exited the apartment complex. They had cleaned off some of the marshmallow goop that covered them all while they had wrapped Willow and Louis in blankets. The crowd cheered for the Ghostbusters when they exited, causing Willow and Qrow to smile as the latter waved to the crowd.

"🎶If there's something strange🎶"

"🎶In your neighborhood🎶"

"🎶Who you gonna call?🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

Qrow gave a two fingered salute to the crowd before leaning towards Willow, lowering himself a bit to her level as he attempted to kiss her. Willow smiled in return as she accepted his advances, the two sharing a long kiss.

Immediately Weiss and Winter were slightly taken aback by another version of their kissing Ghostbuster Qrow, especially Winter.

"Well... I suppose if she's happy." Winter muttered, though she still wasn't a fan of this.

"A celebrating crowd and a kiss for the hero." Qrow smiled as he rested his hands behind his head. "This is what in talking about."

"Go, Uncle Qrow!" Ruby cheered, prompting Weiss to give her partner a dry look.

"Don't act like you're the only hero." Tai cut into Qrow. "We were there too."

"And if we really want to place a singular hero title onto one of us, it would go to Ozpin." Oobleck said as he directed his hand towards the headmaster. "It was his plan to cross the streams that stopped Gozer. We just went along with it."

"Now, now. We all played instrumental parts in Gozer's defeat. Not a single one of us can take the title of hero all too himself." Ozpin humbly spoke while smiling. "I'm just glad my counterpart was able to come up with a plan to stop all of this mess. Better than I ever was."

"Like I said earlier. I'm milking this." Qrow said as he pointed to the cheering people. "Ain't nothing gonna ruin this for me."

"I'm just glad we get to hear the Ghostbusters' song as apart of the celebratory end." Yang said as she swayed a bit to the beat.

"Ghostbusters!" Nora cheered with her fists in the air.

"It has a nice funky beat." Emerald admitted as she found herself tapping her foot to the beat of the song, while Mercury bobbed his head a bit.

"A perfect ending, if I ever saw one." Pyrrha added in, giggling as she watched Jaune sway to the beat like Yang.

"🎶Who you gonna call?🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

Willow and Qrow then receded from their kiss, Willow smiling ad Qrow shook his head a bit as the crowd cheered on.

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

Oobleck stood by as he plopped a cigarette in his mouth, lighting it as he began to smoke, smiling out towards the crowd before taking the cigarette out and waving.

"🎶If you're seeing things🎶"

"🎶Running through your head🎶"

"🎶Who can you call?🎶"

Qrow opened up one of the back doors for the Ecto-1, allowing Willow to enter the vehicle before entering it himself.

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

Ozpin came walking out of the building, smiling towards the crowd.

"Ozpin!" Glynda shouted in relief as she ran over to him, dressed in a coat and head scarf.

Ozpin greeted her with a smile as he and Glynda shared in a hug before he led her over to the Ecto-1.

"Oh, right." Glynda said with a feint blush.

"See, Ozpin? Even you got a hero's reward." Qrow pointed to Ghostbuster Ozpin getting a hug from Ghostbuster Glynda, smirking at the sight.

"We are just friends." Ozpin held firm as he replied to Qrow, knowing where he converted would lead. "What are counterpart's do doesn't hold to the same truth of what we do."

"If you say so." Qrow replied with a shrug, though still holding his smirk.

Ironwood shook his head with a sigh as he enviously looked at the screen. "A man can dream."

"🎶An invisible man
Sleeping in your bed🎶"

"🎶Oww, who you gonna call?🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

Louis then came out, wrapped in a blanket such like Willow. He smiled out to the crowd as well, waving his arm out. "What's going on?! Does anybody want to interview me?! I'm an eyewitness! I was up there."

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

Just then two paramedics ran up to Louis, checking on him as they'd started to direct him over to a nearby ambulance.

"I wanna go with them in their car." Louis said in protest, but was led away by the paramedics nonetheless.

"Sucks for him." Roman said with a chuckle. "Everyone else is having fun while Louis just gets taken to a regular ambulance."

'Only the real heroes get to celebrate.' Neo signed with a giggle.

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

Taiyang was shown by the trunk door of the Ecto-1 as Ozpin helped him take his proton pack off before setting it in the proton pack rack.

"🎶Who you gonna call?🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

"🎶If you're all alone🎶"

"🎶Pick up the phone
And call🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

Oobleck shook the hand of the apartment bellhop, who smiled back at him. Oobleck got into the driver's seat of the Ecto-1 as the bellhop closed the door for him, tipping his hat off as the Ecto-1's engines were started up.

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

Among the crowd, a few priest were shown praying in thanks to the Ghostbusters as two police officers waved the Ghostbusters off.

"🎶I hear it likes the girls🎶"

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

A few of the mayor's agents helped clear a path for the Ghostbusters to back the Ecto-1 out of as news reporters filmed them beginning to drive off.

"🎶Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah🎶"

"🎶Who you gonna call?🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

As the Ghostbusters started to pull out, the people continued to cheer them on in celebration, with one man even dancing a bit on top of some debris from the building. Others in the crowd were waving Ghostbusters t-shirts to show their appreciation.

"I can't say I've ever seen a crowd this lively before." Pyrrha observed with a smile.

"I'd probably dance too if I was able to survivor the near end of the world." Jaune admitted with a chuckle.

"From renowned paranormal exterminators to renowned heroes." Ren said with a clam smile.

"Their business is gonna skyrocket." Nora cheekily smiled.

"The city took some damage, but it's good to see that everyone's happy." Ruby smiled at the scene.

"I hope I will be able to do something worthy enough to warrant the celebration of this many people." Penny smiled brightly. "It looks like quite the joyful sensation."

"🎶Of a freaky ghost, baby🎶"

"🎶You better call🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

"🎶Oww!🎶"

"🎶Let me tell you something
Busting makes me feel good🎶"

The Ecto-1's engines revved as it's sirens wailed. The Ghostbusters were finally able to move their vehicle out of the way of the crowd and began to drive off, all the whole Qrow continued to wave to the crowd.

"🎶I ain't afraid of no ghost🎶"

With that, the Ghostbusters drove off, with several people from the crowd chasing after them, continuing to cheer them on.

"🎶Don't get caught alone
Oh, no🎶"

"🎶Ghostbusters!🎶"

As the viewing panned out, and the Ghostbusters drove off, Slimer came flying in, howling as he flew towards the viewing angle with his mouth wide open.

And with that, the viewing came to a close.

Despite all of the people cheering. Despite the kiss from Willow Schnee. Despite having defeated Gozer. Qrow immediately frowned upon seeing Slimer.

"Slimer just has to ruin everything." Qrow muttered with a scowl.

"So much for enjoying the moment." Tai remarked to Qrow while chuckling a bit.

"I forgot that they still have to catch all the ghosts Peck let out." Ruby said with wide eyes.

"Yeah, that had to have been hundreds of ghosts." Yang said with a whistle.

"And I can't imagine they'd be too happy to see the Ghostbusters again." Ilia added in.

"They're going to have a lot of overtime." Blake said.

"I take you all enjoyed this universe." Vortech spokes to the audience.

"It's going to be an experience I'm never going to forget." Jaune stated.

"It's a shame that we've come to the end though." Nora shook her head with a small sigh. "I would have loved to see more ghost busting."

"At least you got to see ghosts getting caught." Mercury told her before motioning to himself, Cinder, and Emerald. "We got here late in the game."

"There will be more to come from this universe." Vortech said assuredly. "The Ghostbusters' universe has many a tale to tell. For now though, it's time to get back to world of Middle-Earth."

"Ah. More of the thirteen dwarves and the long-bearded wizard." Roman commented with a nod.

"It's going to be interesting to see how my dwarven counterpart will react to the elves of Rivendell." Ironwood said.

"Yes. But before I get it started, how about one more song from this universe?" Vortech suggested. "As a victory lap of sorts."

Despite the viewing screen being black, a jazzy and funky tune started to play, bringing recognition from those who had heard it before as a few of them smiled and swayed to the beat.

"🎶Gonna tell you a story
About a little town I know🎶"

"🎶They had a real big problem
With some big mean local ghost🎶"

"🎶Those spooks were making
The whole city lose control🎶"

"🎶Well, the Mayor was frantic🎶"

"🎶The town was panicked
Cause they had no sense of fear🎶"

"🎶Cause they knew they were missing
Those boys with a mission🎶"

"🎶So they called them up right chere🎶"

"🎶They were boxing and trapping🎶"

Well folks, I'd call this as a momentous occasion. The first universe all wrapped up, at least until I get back to doing Ghostbusters-related chapters. Which also includes the Real Ghostbusters cartoon. Four more chapters away until we get to next universe from the trailers chapter, that being the one you all voted for to be shown next. Until that time comes, I can guarantee you all are going to throughly love the four chapters that are in between it.
