It's been days ever since the murder of Beth Rose has occured, and yet another one happened.

I sighed again as I eyed the students who were busy reading their books. Another event also took place, they were having police escorts all over. If it's for the safety of the people here, I'll have to accept it.

The bell rang , signalling lunch time. The students hurriedly placed the books back on the shelves, some just left them on the table, then darted towards the door. As I've always done, I picked up the books that were either misplaced or left on the floor and placed them back up. I read a few paragraphs from a copy of The Divine Comedy before placing it back to where it belongs. At last someone also loved reading this book.

I decided to once again close the library and leave for lunch time, but not before checking if anything was missing.

I scanned the shelves, luckily they all seemed complete. But one shelf had a missing book, making me stop.

Oh how stupid of me, to ignore a probably thievery. But maybe, was it missing? I don't think so.

I ignored my thoughts and locked the library, not forgetting to put the sign "ON BREAK".

"Excuse me, madame. " I turned around to see a young man in uniform, his rectangular badge and all told me that he was my police escort.

"So, you must be my escort?" I asked him. The officer nodded in agreement and led me towards the dinner tables.

As we walked, I noticed that he looked at the surroundings, maybe to see if a threat would arise. I overheard some of the faculty complaining about it, saying that it will all be alright. But considering three deaths in a week, how can this school be safe any longer?

We finally arrived in front of the place, a sigh of relief escaped me as the officer opened the door for me.

"Thank you. " I said to him before shutting the door slowly. The room was full of murmurs, most from the students.

The chair I sat on was on the edge of the table, meaning I was near the students.

As I continued eating, I heard them saying something about a "party last night". Another set of rulebreakers, I suppose? But I don't think they will do that. Maybe just false things, that's all.

After I finished my food, I headed back to the library, of course with the officer. I felt worried around the police.

I hope this method works, I hope they find the murderer.

I sat down on the chair, awaiting any student or employee who can go by.

I remember hearing the recent news that two suspects have been caught. But instead of teachers just like past time, they were students. How strange, why would they murder their fellow students? I really don't know if it's true or not, but I guess I should let them do the work for a while.
