3RD PERSON POV

Y/N: Don't be too threatening with your scythe.

Ruby: *smile* I know.

They all turn around the forest before screaming.

Y/N: COME ON OUT! WE WON'T HURT YOU!

Ruby: Y/N....A little more gentler?

*WHOOSH*

She yelps as he transforms into his Katana Devil form and turns to her.

Y/N: Collei...come on out. We won't hurt you.

Ruby: THAT'S EVEN WORSE!

Y/N: It's the thought that counts- alright maybe not.

He transforms back into his regular form before whistling for Rover. Immediately a rumble can be heard as Rover (20 feet tall) runs towards him from the trail behind them, panting as Y/N holds some bandages out. 

Y/N: Find her but be nice to her. She'll be scared.

Rover barks before running into a random direction.

Ruby: How long?

Y/N: 10 seconds in 10.....9.....8.....7.....6.....5.....4.....3.....2.....1.....and-

???: AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

A loud scream can be heard from somewhere in the forest as Y/N picks Ruby up and zooms towards the source of noise. He stops after less than a second and puts Ruby down as they face Rover who was sniffing a terrified girl huddling against a tree.

???: P-PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!

Y/N: ROVER SIZE!

Rover shrinks to the size of a big dog, surprising before as he licks her chin. She recoils back, still scared as Y/N walks over to her.

Y/N: Back away from her.

Rover whines, jumping in place before walking over to Y/N....and jumps into Ruby's arms as she carries himself.

Ruby: Good boy~

Y/N: Are you Collei?

Collei: W-Who are you?

Y/N: Someone here to help.

He holds his hand out though she flinches as he touches her skin.

Y/N: Hmmmm...that's not good. Let me heal you first......

*BOOM*

He slams his hand onto the ground, a shockwave generated as a magic circle surrounds her.

Y/N: GAAN LUN HAAS

A green glow surrounds her, confusing her as she stood there for 15 seconds before everything disappears. The magic circle fades away and they forest was left standing like it is.

Y/N: How do you feel?

Collei: I-I feel fine?

She looks at her arm only to find it perfectly normal, no purple marks on it as she feels her back.

Collei: W-What did you do?

Y/N: Healed you of the Archon Residue and Eleazar. You're good to go now.

He immediately picks her up, hearing a scared yelp coming from her mouth as they teleport away.

Later

Amber: *grin* Glad you could come back to Mondstadt traveler. The new year is just around the corner in a month!

Lumine: I'm glad I came back really.

Amber: *grin* Collei! You're here too!

Collei(alt): Amber!

They both hugged each other, happy to see their long time friends as Lumine smiles at the scene-

Paimon: HHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!

They all turn to find Paimon flying to them in a panic, Rover chasing her with much eagerness as he yaps like a dog.

Rover: *BARK* WOOF!

Paimon flies and hides behind Lumine, shaking as they all draw their weapons to face Rover who stopped in front of them, panting while being at a height of a two story building.

Paimon: S-SCARY DOG!

Amber: GO GO BARON BUNNY!

*BOOM*

Rover takes a big sniff of the baron bunny that was thrown at him, curiously wagging his tail only for it to explode in front of his face.

Rover: *ACHOO*

Rover sneezes, the shockwave blowing all the dust around the area away before he sat down to scratch his neck with his hind leg.

Amber: Did it just ignore my arrows?

Collei(alt) stops firing her arrows and watches Rover get back up before yawning loudly and turns his head to face the group.

Rover: *tilts head* ???

Collei(alt): In a way.....it's.....strangely cute.

Rover leans his head forward and begins to sniff Collei(alt), nuzzling the top of her head with his nose as they all stood there confused.

Amber: It's....not attacking us?

Rover's ears perk up before he quickly turns around, running away as they quickly ran after him.

Paimon: H-HEY CAN'T WE GET HELP?!

Lumine: Nope.

Later

*CHOP*

Y/N slices the watermelon into a dozens of slices before he hands one to Collei.'

Collei: I-I can eat it?

Y/N: Go ahead.

She takes the watermelon slice before biting into it as Ruby eats some fried radish balls.

Y/N: So?

Collei: I-It's good.

She grabs another one before devouring the whole thing. 15 seconds later she tries to grab for two more only for-

*PLOP*

Ruby: Try it.

Collei slowly chews the food in her mouth.....before she tears into the fried radish balls like a hungry wolf. Even the sandwich Y/N saved was eaten in just a minute. She was about to grab some carrot sticks when Y/N stops her.

Y/N: Don't eat too much. You'll get sick.

She nods her head before she stops chewing and takes a big gulp of water before collapsing onto her back.

Collei: What's your name?

Y/N: Y/N.

Ruby: Ruby Rose at your service!

Collei: What weapon is that?

Collei points to Ruby's scythe as she gasps and hugs it tightly.

Ruby: It's my scythe. I call it Crescent Rose!

Collei: It has a name?

Ruby: *chuckle* I gave it that name...

Collei's eyes trail to a crystal butterfly that lands on her shoulder. Y/N sighs, seeing her eyes curiously looking at her surroundings, exploring everything as if she were a little kid.

Y/N: 'So innocent.....why would the Fatui-

*TOUCH*

Y/N immediately turns into his KD Form and held his katana hand at the neck of the figure behind him w-

Y/N: Oh........I may have overreacted.

Yae: *giggle* You did Y/N.....though I haven't seen you with this....form of yours before.

Y/N: Haven't used it yet Yae, but I have to be cautious.

He transforms back into his human form as Yae sits down, Ruby and Collei looking at her interested.

Ruby: Who's she?

Y/N: Inazuma's representative and one of the 20 people here with connections to Jed. She's Yae Miko.

Collei: W-What are you?

Yae: I'm a Kitsune youkai.

Her mouth twists into a frown, seeing the bandages on Collei as she reaches out to touch her arm though she instinctively flinches.

Yae: *frown* What happened?

Y/N: Read the files but uh....

He whispers into her ear some words as Yae nods before patting Collei's head.

Yae: I see.....*smile* Are you enjoying your time with your caretaker?

Collei: H-He's really nice and didn't h-hurt me at all.

Y/N: From today I'm your current guardian and Caretaker. That means I'll be taking care of you and protecting you from any harm....alright?

Collei had a nervous look on her face as Ruby pays her head.

Ruby: Cheer up Collei! We'll be-

Paimon: YAE?!

*WHOOSH*

Y/N transforms into his Katana Devil and turns, getting into a stance as Paimon yelps and hides behind Lumine as their group draws their weapons.

Paimon: W-WHAT IS THAT?!

Y/N: Oops.

Y/N transforms back into his human self as Yae slaps his head.

Yae: *frown* Don't scare the poor child like that!

Paimon: HEY!

Y/N: OH SHI-

Y/N was tackled by a mass of fur though eh stood his ground. Flipping Rover onto his side, he begins to rub his belly at supersonic speed, pleasing the dog as he pants and twitches around.

Y/N: *gets off* Rover size!

River shrinks to the size of a normal dog, shocking the group there as Collei timidly walks forward.

Collei(alt): W-Wait......

Collei: You're....me?

No one said anything as the two walked towards each other, getting closer and closer before Collei reaches out to her alternate to touch her hand.

Collei: You're me...but older.

Collei(alt): You're me....but younger.

They looked at each other in awe, feeling the smooth skin of each other's hand. Collei's face brightens up at the puzzled expression on her older self as everyone watches them interact with each other.

Paimon: Um....what's going on?

???: I AM SIMON THE TREASURE HUN-

Y/N(Katana Devil): GET LOST!

All 20 treasure hunters scream before they ran away in fear of Y/N monstrous form as he turns to the younger Collei.

Y/N: Do I look scary?

Collei: Y-Yeah....

Paimon: W-WHY IS THERE A SWORD STICKING THROUGH YOUR HEAD?!

Y/N: It's my devil form.

Amber: Devil?

Y/N: First an explanation though.

He explains everything that is going on, going into detail for 30 minutes as they all listen.

Collei: S-So I don't have to go back to the Fatui?

Y/N: Nope.

Collei begins to tear up, making Y/N panic.

Y/N: Oh shi-

*TWACK*

Y/N: OW! WHAT GIVES-

*TWACK*

Ruby: SWEAR JAR!

Ruby whacks him with her scythe as they both shouted at each other, everyone awkwardly watching the two interact with each other.

Lumine: An alternate universe?

Later

Shoka: Huh?

Mayu: I'll get it!

She runs over to the door and opens it only to scream and run to Rei.

Rei: *worry* What's wrong?

Mayu: *shaking* A-A monster!

Y/N: Wait what?

Y/N walks into the house and everyone turns only to grab the nearest weapon as he scratches his head with his katana hand-

Y/N: Ohhhhhhh.......

Everyone: Wait Y/N?

He transforms back into his regular self before smiling.

Y/N: Hehe....forgot about that.

Shouko: Y/N...*smile* You are back.

Y/N: I got another one coming in.

Yuzuru: *excited* Wait really? Who is it?

Y/N: Collei come on. Don't be shy.

Collei peeks from behind him, shyly looking at all the girls there

Collei: H-Hi. I-I'm Collei.

Rei: *smile* Hello little girl.

She walks forward before bending down to her height.

Rei: I am Rei.

All the girls immediately run to the front of the house, surrounding Collei as she held onto Y/N tightly. They introduced themselves, reassuring Collei as she looks at them.

Collei: H-Hi everyone.

Paimon: This....is your house?!

Rover barks, scaring her as she zooms into the house with Collei, Amber, Lumine, and Yae as they look around.

Yae: This is quite the home you live in Y/N.

Amber: Huh......this looks strange but......nice.

Lumine: Y-Yeah same.

Collei: It's a lot more spacious than my home-

Tippy: YIP!

Paimon yelps and turns only to find Tippy standing on the counter.

Y/N: That's my pet bunny Tippy-

Amber: *gasp* BUNNY?!

She picks Tippy up, seeing him purr as she squishes her cheek against his head.

Amber: IT'S SO CUTE!!!!! I CAN JUST SQUISH HIM....He's so soft~

Meanwhile Y/N grabs a kitchen knife from the counter before slicing through an orange. He skins it in less than a second before ripping off 3 slices and gives them to Collei.

Y/N: Eat.

She takes it before devouring it all completely.

Paimon: Um....why are you the only guy here?

Y/N: Don't know. Jed doesn't seem to send me any boys to care for. But I don't mind this life.

Amber: What's this?

She points to the fridge as he opens it to reveal all the food in there.

Y/N: Storage to keep food cold so that it lasts longer.

Paimon: Oooo...wait how do you keep it cold?

Y/N: Electricity to generate a cooling temperature.

Paimon: Eh? Don't you mean electro energy?

Y/N: Different worlds have different technologies and terms. In this world everyone lives in a house with electricity to keep things bright.

He turns the light on and off, startling her as he turns on the TV.

Y/N: Electricity to keep yourself entertained.

He takes out his phone, showing his screen of a photo of him and Denji.

Y/N: Electricity to take photos and communicate with friends on the get go. This is a phone I can use to call and communicate with my superiors and friends.

Paimon: *whine* What?! That's not fair! You can talk with your friends anywhere?!

Y/N: Even if they're in a different world or in a different nation altogether.

Paimon: HOW DO YOU MAKE PHONES?!

Y/N: Even if I tell you it's going to take centuries for your world to even develop those.....Jed told me.

Paimon: Aw! You got everything!

Y/N continues to show off the applications of his house and the world they're in, Amber, Collei, and Lumine surprised while Yae pat Rover's head.

Later

Y/N: Really?

Paimon: Cmon....maybe show what you're made of?

They all stood in the empty field behind Y/N's house, Lumine and Y/N standing 100 meters away from each other while Paimon and everyone else stood by the side.

Y/N: Alright....come.

Lumine: We're going to spar but....don't you have a sword.

*WHOOSH*

Y/N: I am the sword.

She froze, holding her blade but staring at the sight of the 3 blades protruding from Y/N's body as he held them out.

Y/N: Come.

*BOOM*

Later

Jean: Amber is around here.

Noelle: Are you sure? This is a different world from what we known.

Dehya: *grin* Don't sweat it! This is a lot more interesting than the entirety of Sumeru!

Tighnari: I just need to know if Collei is alright.

Jean: I'm entrusted with this responsibility....and I plan to use it responsibly, and use it to find Amber at the moment.

They talked through the forest behind Y/N's house, looking for the people they were looking for-

Paimon: HEY!

Noelle: Paimon?

Amber: JEAN! *confused* What are you doing here?

The group excluding Lumine walks over to them as they greet each other.

Tighnari: So this is where you've been.

Collei(alt): *sheepish* Can we continue this another time because traveler is-

*BOOM*

A shockwave was generated, blowing them several meters back as Lumine pushes against Y/N's two katana arms as he pushes back.

Y/N: Not bad....but I can do better.

*SLICE*

He slices his two blades off to the left only to swing them up as Lumine ducks and tries to swing her blad-

*BOOM*

He spartan kicks her away, knocking her onto a tree before she jumps up and charges towards him as he charges towards her.

*CLANG*

Y/N: Not bad.

*CLANG*

He swung his katana arms in an X, generating a shockwave that dissipated Lumine's electro shockwave as they collided against each other with their blades.

Y/N: But I can do better.

*BOOM*

He spin kicks her away as she lands onto a ground, getting into a cautious stance as he bends down.

Y/N: It's over.

*BOOM*

Lumine stood there, sweating as his blades were millimeters from her neck, her sword clanging against the katana protruding from his head. They both stared at each other....or in this case Lumine staring at the blade where Y/N's eyes are supposed to be at.

Y/N: Yield?

Lumine: I-I yield.

Y/N backs away, still in his devil form as Lumine sheaths her blade.

Y/N: You're strong....but I sense most of your actual power has been sealed. You're skilled and have a lot of versatility with your elemental powers.....but the problem is that you lack the speed to keep up with me.

SPEED FORCE SAYS HELLO

Y/N: That's why I can react to your every move and plan accordingly.

Lumine: I see....

He transforms back into his human form before stretching his arms.

Y/N: So how's the spar?

Lumine: It's.....strange.

Y/N: *chuckle* Everyone's says that.

*BUMP*

Rover who was the size of a grizzly bear bumps his head against Y/N as he pushes back.

Y/N: Not now.

He whines and jumps around, yapping to Y/N who sighs.

Y/N: Alright....I'll make your favorite food today.

River stops whining and sits down, panting happily as everyone watches Y/N talk to him.

Paimon: *whisper* Do dogs understand words?

Shoka: *whisper* This one does.

Y/N: 'Goddamnit now I have guests you know what......screw it. I'm making dinner for them all.'

Later

Paimon: *drool* So much food~

Amber: Huh....*grin* This is pretty good.

Noelle: Is this all alright? This is quite the amount of food you cooked

Y/N: *chew* Most of it is gonna be eaten. Any leftovers will be stored to eat later or fed to Rover, Wanta, and Tippy.

He stabs a sausage with his fork before handing it to Rover to takes it and runs away. Everyone eats to their heart, Jean enjoying her pizza, Amber and Dehya devouring some spicy noodles, Collei munching on some fried radish balls with her alternate and Paimon eating everything on her plate like the glutton she is while everyone eats and talks with each other.

Tighnari: I see why you've come here Collei....but you.

He points to the young Collei who looks up to him, scared at his stern voice.

Tighnari: *soft* Are you sure you want to stay here?

Collei nods her head, reassuring Collei(alt) as she pats her head.

Tighnari: I see....that is fine by me.

Dehya: Girl you are burning.

Shoka: My fire abilities.

Dehya: *curious* Cryo and pyro?

She holds her hands out, generating some fire and ice cubes as Dehya ooos in curiosity.

Lumine: Is he a dog?

Rover steps on the table with his front legs, curiously watching everyone as Y/N rubs the top of his head.

Y/N: Back in his world there's a greenish mutation cell that turns people and animals into monsters. He was one of them and actually, one of the 30 strongest ones there. He's a cadre of some monster association.

Paimon: How strong is he?

Y/N: Drop him in a nation and you can kiss it goodbye in 10 minutes....*ponder* If he's really high and hyper on something and is his maximum height.

Paimon: T-THAT WASN'T HIS LARGEST SIZE?!

Y/N: Try 150 feet.

Paimon: T-Then will he eat me?

Y/N: I don't know. But doesn't traveler call you emergency food?

Paimon: I- HEY!

Collei(alt), Lumine and Dehya snicker as Yae giggles while Tighnari calmly eats his food.

*BEEP*

Shouko: Y/N?

Shouko runs over to Y/N and hands him a tablet, showing him a live feed of the driveway where 7 gunman can be seen with various weapons.

???: *grin* I heard around this area that this guy is loaded with cash! He's a multi millionaire!

???2: With the power of the spear devil I can rob this guy and be rich!

Y/N: *phone* Jed why are there devil hybrids near the driveway of my house?

Jed: Oh shi- they're wanted criminals and there's a kill order on them.

Y/N: Alright.

He puts his phone down and gets up from the dining table, turning into his Katana Devil form and scaring the girls as he presses a button to open the front door.

Y/N: *turns* Stay in here and don't go out. Things might get ugly.

Paimon: W-What's happening?

Y/N marches out the door as Tighnari gets up.

Tighnari: I'll go check on him.

Paimon: Wait! These guys have weird weapons on their bodies!

Tighnari ignores her and runs out the door as Dehya jumps and runs after him too.

Kaede:.....I'll go. 'I have to check of Y/N's ok!'

Kaede runs out the door despite some protests, worried about Y/N's wellbeing.

Amber:.....Um-

*BANG*
*SLICE*
*BOOM*
*RATATATATATATA*

The sound of gunfire and explosions can be heard outside, the house shaking from some shockwaves. A slew of curses and battle cries reverberated through the room as Collei huddled against her older self, scared.

Rover: ????

It became silent after a minute or two......until Kaede comes in with blood on her clothes.

Kaede: I'll take a shower and change.

She heads upstairs before Tighnari and Dehya come inside, a dazed expression on their faces.

Tighnari:......What strange weaponry...a spear as an arm....a cannon as a head......

Dehya: Kinda gory but...*grin* It was a good fight.

Y/N arrives into the house, his 3 katanas soaked in blood before he transforms back into his regular self.

Y/N: Cleaned the corpses up already.

Paimon: C-CORPSES?!

Y/N: Eh....I need to clean up.

He heads upstairs, leaving everyone to eat silently....and a little unsure of the supposed brutality.

Later

Yae: We'll be going now since it's late....

She pats Collei's head, smiling at the innocent look on her face before heading into a portal with the others, leaving Y/N and the others in the house with Collei by their side.

Collei: C-Can I visit my older self?

Y/N: *pat* You may.

Rei: Come on now Collei...let's get you to your bedroom.

Collei: O-Ok.

Collei heads upstairs with Rei, leaving Y/N in the dining room as he looks at his phone.

Jed: Yes?

Y/N: Bro I'm gonna run out of room in the house if you keep sending me more people to care for.

Jed: Eh I can transforms your house into a mansion later. And as for your targets well.....you'll find them very morally disgusting.

Y/N: Like they're psychopaths with a twisted sense of morale?

Jed: That and much more.

Jed whispers some details of where he was going as Y/N listens before he sighs.

Y/N: Consider it done. And after this mission I'm washing my eyes with bleach cause....that is one fucked up world.

Later

Collei: *snore* Mmmmmm.......

Collei couldn't sleep alone since she was afraid so Rei had to sleep with her, patting her head as she huddles against her.

Rei: 'Oh human child.....you will never suffer here anymore....'

*PLOP*

Y/N plops onto the bed next to Collei, patting her head too before holding a hand to the back of Rei's head.

Y/N: She's alright?

Rei: Yeah....

Y/N: That's good.

He says good night before closing his eyes, drifting into a peaceful sleep with Collei happily sandwiched between the two.

Rei: 'This touch....this feeling.....it's so comfortable.....my heart beats loudly when I'm near him.......'

Her face flushes red as she contemplates her feelings.

Rei: *red* 'Can it be.....I'm in love with him?'

Unbeknownst to her, all the other girls besides Mayu and Yuzuru were having the fluttering feeling in their chest as well.

Shoka: 'Y-Y/N is so kind to me....I love him but I know mom has similar feelings....I WON'T LOSE TO HER!'

Kaede: 'I love Y/N......*smile* And he will love me and no one else.'

Shouko: 'I-I'm just a deaf person without my hearing aids but....will he accept me for who I am?'

Ruby: 'Y/N is so nice....he doesn't call me useless and he did so much for me.....I love his cookies and I love him for who he is......Please Y/N....will you be the light in my life?'

They all had happy thoughts as they hugged Y/N's clones, the full moon shining brightly
