His teammates cheered him on as his avatar crawls forward, waiting for any indication of his enemy. He could feel the sweat dripping off his face, his hands gripping his mouse and keyboard as he prepares himself.

Y/N: 360 NO SCOPE!

*BANG*

By some stroke of luck, he shoots randomly behind him, killing the last person who was sneaking up from behind. His chat explodes in applause from his teammates as he puts his headphone down.

Avenger: LET'S GO!

Yo-yo: FUCK YES!

#1 HERO: Alright that's our last game together! See y'all later!

Everyone says goodbye to each other as Y/M exits out of the app before turning off his computer and monitor. Getting up, he stretches his arms before heading out the door and walking downstairs to the kitchen.

Y/N: Hmmm....a got a $30,000 smash tourament to go to soon, a $20,000 PUBG tourament to attend 2 days later.....got a hang out, training my body....

He takes a ham sandwich from his fridge, chewing into it as he walks over to the TV, turning it on before sitting on the couch.

Y/N: I'm a fucking gamer and overpowered fighter...*sigh* I crossed so many things off my bucket list cause of my speed force but.....even after a few years I haven't had a girlfriend. Hah...how do I get-

He gets up as the doorbell rings, walking over to the door and removing the lock before opening it.

Y/N: Oh......who are you?

Shouko: Mmmmmm.......

He stood there, confused as the girl looks around before making some signals with her hand.

Y/N: Jed sent you here?

She nods her head, making him sigh as she hands him a paper.

My Buddy Y/N, your job as a caretaker starts now! This is the first girl, so care for her well will ya? She's clinically deaf if you're wondering, which is why you got 8 replacement hearing aids if she breaks hers.

Y/N looks down, seeing a basket with several containers.

Y/N: *holding notebook* Get in.

They all head inside, the girl putting her shoes onto the rack before she looks around in awe.

Y/N: Two story house...4500 square feet in total, there's a lot you could do here. But let's get to know each other first. Sit.

She sits on the couch nervously as Y/N sat next to her.

Y/N: Name's Y/N. What's yours?

Shouko makes several hand signals with her hands, spelling out "Shouko Nishimiya" as Y/N nods.

Y/N: Very well. I'm assuming you brought everything?

Shouko: I-I only have my clothes.

Y/N: No suitcases or anything?

Shouko: W-When my mom died they seized the house....m-my sister was separated from me.....

Y/N: I'll contact Jed...I'm sure we can work something out. But for now....

He opens a portal, startling the girl as he pulls out a stack of papers.

Y/N: You'll be staying with me for now. You're alright with that?

She nods her head as Y/N looks around the room before getting a tangerine and held it out to her.

Y/N: Hungry?

She nods her head as she grabs the tangerine, peeling it with her hands before she begins eating. Y/N grabs a cracker from the jar nearby and pops it into his mouth, chewing as he checks his phone.

*TAP*

Y/N: We will be going clothes shopping if that's alright with you.

Shouko: *nod* Yes please.

Y/N: Since there's nothing to do.....yeah let's go now. Are you tired or anything?

She shakes her head as they all get up. Putting on his coat, he walks to the front door to grab his keys before they all head out the door.

Later

Y/N: Hmmm....how good can you hear? I know Jed said the doctors in this world did some operations and stuff to partially fix your hearing but he didn't mention how well you could hear.

They all walked down the aisle, looking for clothes and such as Y/N held a pile of clothes in his shopping cart.

Shouko: The strange doctor said 75%.

Y/N: That's good.

He picks a shirt from a rack nearby and holds it up to her.

Y/N: So what do you think?

Shouko: *smile* It's cute.

Y/N: Alright we're buying it then!

He throws it into the cart before heading down the aisle.

Y/N:....I don't think this is the right time but....do you miss your old world?

Shouko had a sad look on her face though she shook her hand sideways.

Y/N: Family's family....my family died already though...

Shouko: What do you mean?

Y/N: I was 27....when I died. Now I'm 18....I reincarnated a year ago but...it's been pretty fun around here. Even though I'm alone I made plenty of friends.

Shouko:.....Friends.....

Y/N: Anyways we got pants, underwear, soap, bras, shirts, everything here. I'll be buying some more later to fill your wardrobe.

Shouko: Thank you for your generosity but this is fine.

Y/N: No no I insist! I'm....kinda rich so I could afford it...but you do need a lot of clothes and such.

Shouko nods her head as they made their way to the cashier.

???: *smile* Hello Y/N.....I see you brought a girl here.

Y/N: Yeah she's staying with me as of now.

???: I see....is she your girlfriend?

Y/N: No no she's not. She's just living with me at the moment.

Shouko had a red tint to her cheeks at the mention as Y/N pays for her clothes.

???: Your change is $69.69.....'how amusing.'

Y/N: Thanks.

After paying for her clothes, they head out the shop and onto the street.

Y/N: Give me two seconds alright?

*WHOOSH*

He flashes away, confusing her as she didn't see the shopping cart they rolled out only for Y/N to appear in front of her eyes with an empty shopping cart.

Y/N: Brought them all back home if you're wondering. Anyways.....you want to go out with me?

Her face turns red at his suggestion as he holds his hand out.

Y/N: I only want to know more about who I'll be living with. Thats alright with you right?

Shouko: I'll be delighted to know more about you.

Y/N lets out a smile, reassuring Shouko as a small smile appears on her face.

Y/N: *smile* Alright then! Let's head out!

Later

Y/N: *chew* What's your favorite food?

Shouko: Strawberries.....Mochi...Noodles.

Y/N: *grin* I like those too...though I prefer chocolate.

Shouko sat there politely, watching the people out the window and writing on her notebook as she communicates with Y/N.

Y/N: How was the meal?

Shouko: The food is really good Y/N.

They both talked with each other, sharing about themselves and about their lives before well...it all went to shit. They had a fun time really, and Y/N even made Shouko laugh at some funny memories.

Y/N: Ah....I'm curious Shouko.....can I see something?

He gets up and walks over to the other side before sitting down. Reaching out, he gently removes the hearing aid from her right ear, confusing her as he rubs her ear.

Y/N: You been in an accident before? Or.....someone damaged this ear?

Shouko: It's nothing.

Y/N: Shouko there's no need to lie.

Shouko: Accident with a bully.

Y/N: Ah that makes sense....there's not much that could damage your ears from just pulling your hearing aids out. Now....hold still for me will ya?

He takes the other hearing aid out and places both his palms against her ears, confusing her as she saw them glowing green.

Y/N: Alright....any second now.

Shouko: I.....can her?

Y/N: *smile* There we go!

He takes his hands off her head as she rubs her ears.

Y/N: Now put these o-

???: *grin* Nice little toy you got there~

They both turn to find a guy holding the hearing aids and surrounded by 3 girls who looked at the two arrogantly.

Y/N: Can you please give me those hearing-

*CRACK*

The guy throws them onto the floor, stomping on them while laughing along with the girls. Y/N's eyes twitched as Shouko's mouth quiver at the sight as one of the three girls point at him.

Erika: Hmph! What's the matter? Mad that I destroyed your toy-

*CLACK*

Y/N pulls out a shotgun from the nearby portal, surprising them all as they backed away.

Y/N: Alright that fucking costed $2000 dollars to make. Tell me how much money do you all have?

Shota: *panic* W-Wait let's talk about this! I-I only have $600-

Y/N: I SAID TOGETHER YOU DUMB FUCKS!

They all flinch at his voice as he loads the shotgun, scaring them as he glares at the lot.

Ai: I-I have $700.

Erika: $650.

Sarina: $800.

Y/N: Give me $2100.

Sarina: B-But you said $2000

*BANG*

They all scream as he shoots out the window.

Y/N: GIVE IT TO ME OR I'M TELLING YOUR PARENTS AND I'LL INCREASE THAT BY 500%!

Shota: *crying* I-I'm sorry....h-here's the money....

Y/N had to stare them down for 5 minutes before they all burst into tears as they gather the money needed. The guy in front shakily holds his hand out, handing him the money as he stuffs it into his pocket.

Y/N: NOW SCRAM!

They all ran away, one of them even peeing their pants before he turns to everyone who was hiding.

Y/N: Look....I'm sorry alright? The gun isn't even real.

He dismantles the gun, revealing a plastic cartilage as they all get up.

???: T-Then what was the loud noise?

Y/N: Firecracker went off.

He holds out the "ammo" as they all breath a sigh of relief.

Y/N: Am I in trouble?

Manager: *chuckle* W-Well those kids have been causing some trouble around here....I doubt they would bc one here again though after what you did so thanks.....

Y/N: No problem. Shouko let's go home now.

Shouko nervously gets up, apologizing as best as she could to everyone there before leaving.

Later

Shouko: You souldn sare peeple lie tat!

After getting her replacement hearing aids, Y/N sat on the couch, sweating as Shouko tells him off angrily unlike her usual life.

Y/N: I know....I know.....

Shouko: Don do tat again!

Y/N nods his head as Shouko turns to the TV....a nervous look on her face as she huddles against Y/N.

Shouko:.....Sorry.

Y/N: It's fine! I get scolded a lot in the past so I'm used to this.

Shouko: I wasn't able to speak up for myself....I'm so useless-

Y/N: Hey!

She turns, startled as Y/N points at her.

Y/N: You're not useless! Far from it! Don't bash yourself just because you're deaf! Look....a lot of your hearing is back. You're away from the people that tormented you....

Shouko: I know......

Y/N: *grin* But you got me now alright? I know we didn't get along but there's a lot more we could do together! You know....I could teach you how to speak and pronounce your words better.

Shouko: *smile* Thank you...

He complements her, making her feel touched by his concern and wellbeing as he lists a few things he had in mind.

Y/N:........I forgot about your room........wanna try something?

Shouko had a confused look on her face as she scribbles onto her

Shouko: What do you mean?

Y/N: We're gonna have to sleep in the same bed...you don't have to really sleep next to me though so-

Later

Her heart pounded in her chest, seeing Y/N laying besides her as they both stare into each other's eyes, already changed into their PJs.

Y/N: Nervous?

She had a shy look on her face as she nods her head. With the covers over them already, Y/N reaches out, waiting for a nod which she gives him before wrapping his arms around her. She nervously reaches out, grabbing his shirt as he rubs the back of her head affectionately.

Shouko: *cuddle* Mmmmmmm.......

Y/N: 'WHY DID I DO THIS?! Alright stay calm Y/N you're only sleeping with her for the night since she for some reason agreed to this idea.' Good night.

Shouko: Good nite.

Y/N: Eh close enough.

She smiles, seeing how positive he was as he closes his eyes before he slept with her in his arms.

Shouko: Mmmmm....'Y/N.....you're very interesting.....'

She slept peacefully that day, all her worries going away as she melts against the comfort of Y/N and the bed.
