I've gone through so many cover designs for Cardinal Sky, all hours of hard labour on my part as I acquainted myself with PS. 

First was a crazy colorful design.

Then I moved onto cutout inspired themes

Next was a symbol based theme, which I quite liked but unfortunately it didn't do its job properly and attract readers.

I finally went back to my original girl!! 

And by far this cover drew the most readers... but *cry* I did not have the right to the image and I couldn't even find out who the original artist was... so I was back to drawing board again. Trying my hand at symbols again (since a lot of mainstream book covers in YA Sci-Fi do not have people on the front)

I tested out the next few.

This last one here is a symbol I created myself, but none of them drew in readers like the girl... So I needed to find a replacement, a girl like her!

Not quite the same but as close as I would get, and with a little more tweaking, because I just had to include the symbol I'd spent hours creating. The final version (so far) is....

Okay enough procrastination on my part. I will get back to writing the story 😉
