I listened to her carefully and asked, "Do you remember any of your friends' phone number?" She shook her head slowly, with tears and fear both in her eyes, the latter becoming more prominent. She quickly went through her phone and handed it to me, I took it from her hand, slightly unsure of why she handed me the phone. I finally realised that the address of the place she was staying in was written down here, I gave her a huge smile saying, "I know where that is! I can drop you there. Why didn't you just follow the address?" She gave me a look which was pricelessly funny and replied with a giggle, "Only if I had known where I am." I laughed along with her at my own stupidity and offered to walk her back to the hotel. After an hour of talking and walking, we finally reached her hotel. A brunette who happened to be nearby came up to her and hugged her saying how scared they were and how they couldn't place a call. She said her part of sorries and finally turned to me. She gave me a quick side hug, she seemed shy, and said," thank you for helping me find my way back. I don't really know where I'd have ended up without you being around. Thank you so much." "I am glad I could help you", I replied with a happy smile plastered on my face, "could we hang out sometime? You'll be gone soon, so before you go, could we?", I continued. "Of course! I'd love to.", she replied. Her smile captivated me and I couldn't resist the feeling that surged my heart. I walked back home, smiling at my own thoughts.
