"ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT!!!" Kiyochi shrieked, slamming her fists against the armrests of her throne. "I DO NOT NEED A HUSBAND!" Her royal advisor sighed. "It's only a suitor, Your Majesty. He will court you for some time and then you will decide whether or not you'd like to accept his proposal." The princess turned her head to the side and pouted. "I'm not marrying some lousy man, I can take care of this country on my fucking own." She said sternly.

The old advisor rubbed the bridge of her nose, pushing up her glasses. "Your Majesty, your parents entrusted me with getting you a husband and I would appreciate it if you could at least just hear them out." She pleaded. Kiyochi glared at her in irritation, but knew that if she continued to be stubborn, the poor woman would lose her job, and she'd been with the princess for most of her life, and Kiyochi would be lying is she said she wasn't fond of the aging advisor.

Huffing in annoyance, she slouched in her throne, her rose pink dress rising up just a bit. "Fine, ONLY if I'm allowed to leave this cooped up palace." She said, turning up her chin. Chuckling at her childish behavior, the old advisor agreed.

"Your Highness," a stern voice spoke, "A few of the suitors have requested your presence." Celian, the head knight, said. The princess groaned. "What the hell, they're already here?!" She exclaimed. The army leader shrugged. "Some of these men are incredibly dedicated." He replied, scoffing to himself. The advisor smiled encouragingly, leaving Kiyochi to simply sigh. "Ugh, fuck it, let them in."

As three tall figures sauntered in, Kiyochi paid them no mind, for she was already tired and bored and prepared to reject them all anyway. "Your Highness, I present to you: Prince Orion of Sonorous." A chocolate haired male winked at her, his gray eyes glistening with mischief. He bowed politely and backed away. Kiyochi eyed him and scoffed in disgust. "Next!" She shouted, laying her head on the palm of her hand. His smug smirk faltered as he mumbled something under his breath.

Celian cleared his throat and shifted in his armor. "Prince Xavier of Zypherlia." A rather lean and young man walked up and smiled awkwardly at the princess, his dark brown eyes looking anywhere but her shiny pink eyes. His frizzy red hair and his millions of freckles left the princess with a knowing smile. She shook her head and snickered softly at his quiet sigh of relief as he gladly backed off.

Celian caught the prince's eye with a soft smile and once again introduced the last prince. "And lastly, for today at least, Prince Hybrid of ColdWolfian." An incredibly tall male stepped forward, his chestnust hair and blue highlights looking extra fluffy for some strange reason. His deep blue eyes as well as his comforting smile left Kiyochi narrowing her pink eyes. "Good Afternoon, Your Highness." He greeted, flashing his pearly yet sharp teeth.

Glaring at him, gestured with her hands. "Take them away, Celian." The ravenette rose an eyebrow at her gesture. The brunette princess blinked. "Please?" She added. The soldier nodded and walked them out.

"Wait!"

"Keep the guy with the blue highlights." Kiyochi added once more. Hybrid looked back at her a bit confused and smiled as he walked back towards her throne. Glancing at her advisor, the woman nodded and followed Celian and the rejected princes out of the throne room. Stepping down from her large seating, she descended down her marble stairs, still glaring at the GoldWolfian prince.

A silence set in. Neither dared to speak. Soon, a malicious smile formed its way on both of their faces.

"I assume this isn't for marriage preparations?" He asked, already knowing the answer. Kiyochi playfully rolled her eyes. "Please, I think you and I both know the answer to that, this is about you." She said, poking her finger to his chest. He raised his hands in a surrendering motion. "Whatever do you mean?" He innocently asked. The princess crossed her arms and scoffed. "Don't pull that shit on me, your fucking aura gives of something...off."

Boring her eyes into his, she groaned and looked away. "I can't put my fucking finger on it, but until then, you're gonna count me." She demanded. Hybrid deadpanned.

"I-I think you mean court-"

"SAME FUCKING THING!!"

"....Is this your way of asking for a friend?"

"NO!!"

"Oh, look at those two."

"How adorable."

"Young love truly is beautiful."

The 'couple' gagged at the maids' comments as they walked through the rose garden. "I actually think I'm gonna be sick.." Hybrid mumbled. Kiyochi nodded along. "Me and you both." At the corner of her eye, the princess noticed something perched right on top of a beautifully blossomed rose. Her eyes widened as an amazed smile formed its way onto her mouth. Radiating a soft buzzing, was a small bumblebee, moving to and fro in search for as much nectar and pollen as possible.

When the brunette prince noticed his friend's absence, he turned his head back to see her staring intently at the flowers. "Are they that pretty-?" He asked, walking back to where she stopped, only to flinch a bit upon noticing the bee. Enraptured by the insect's very existence, Kiyochi almost didn't notice her friend. "Bees are the pretty ones, did you know the Queen bee..." As Hybrid listened to his friend ramble on about her passion, he chuckled to himself while shaking his head.

"What?" Kiyochi asked, stopping her ramble.

"Nothing, it's just...you remind me of someone I once knew..."

"Okay, I'm telling you, honey on toast is fucking heavenly."

"And I'm telling you that avocado toast is a hundred times better."

The two royals were currently on their way to the nearby village that peaked Kiyochi's interest, though, they were supposed to be having dinner together, her advisor did agree to her deal, so technically they weren't really disobeying their duties as royals.

To say Kiyochi was amazed was an understatement. She was marveled at every mural she came across and would have bought everything at the local market had Hybrid not stopped her. Life here seemed so wonderful. Every once in awhile, a local or two would do a double take when walking by her.

"Kiyochi- slow down, you're gonna get lost!" The prince's warning fell on deaf ears as the bee-lover continued to explore the village. It did not take long for her eyes to fall on the familiar buzzing she always loved. "BEE!!" She exclaimed, already chasing the striped insect, causing Hybrid to yelp and chase after her. "Kiyochi- wait!"

As she mindlessly followed the bee, completely unaware of her surroundings, she cursed quietly when her pampered face collided with a brick wall. "Shit...I lost the bee." She sulked, upset upon losing her new friend. Once she wiped the specks of rust and grime off her face, she noticed that she was no longer in the village anymore, and her royal friend was no where to be found.

Looking around, she furrowed her eyebrows at her surroundings. What were once tall inns and a cluster of stands were now large trees, gleaming in the afternoon sunlight. "Hybrid?" Kiyochi asked, turning her head left and right in search of her friend.

As she called, she walked ever so slowly, growing weary of all around her. Taking another step, she flinched at the sound of a twig snapping. Suddenly, a few bushes rustled with the occasional wind. The brunette stopped dead in her tracks. "Hybrid...?" A moment passed. Then two. By the third moment, Kiyochi had relaxed her shoulders a bit, only for them to tense up once again at the arrow flying towards her.

Letting out a scream, she immediatly ducked and watched it instead hit a nearby bush. Almost instantly, the bush and arrow went up in flames. The princess watched the sight in horror. "Definitely not Hybrid..." The new sound of boots stepping on fallen leaves and broken twigs caused startled pink eyes to meet a beautiful young lady.

There will come a soldier,

Who carries a mighty sword

She will tear your city down

Oh lei, Oh lai, Oh Lord~

Her dark hair that reached her shoulders glowed in the specks of light that peaked through the trees. Her golden glasses and deep blue eyes complimented her simple yet promising attire. Above her tattered, off the shoulder shirt was a black underbust corset. Tied right around her waist was both a long navy cloth and a slouched, leather sword strap, containing the said sword. Her bottoms contained ebony ridingpants with lazy sewed on pockets filled with small glass bottles. Her large leather boots increased her height to a great deal, allowing the mystery girl to tower over Kiyochi.

"My apologies, it's become a habit." She apologized, offering her hand, her rolled up sleeves slipping as Kiyochi grabbed a hold of them.  Allowing the ravenette lifted her up, Kiyochi dusted off her daytime dress, still in a complete daze at what had just occurred. Looking back up, she noticed the lady's eyes looking elsewhere, specifically behind her. Kiyochi watched as she sighed softly and with a swift gesture of her hand, the flames vanished.

"Guess I can check that spell off..." Kiyochi heard her murmur. 'How did she- ?' Her bewildered thoughts were interrupted by the voice of the ravenette looking back down at her. "By the way," She started, "What are you doing so far away from, well, I assume, the palace?" She asked, gesturing to Kiyochi's silky clothing.

"Oh..uhm...I was...looking..for..a friend! Yes, a friend." She lied, nodding her head. 'It'd be awkward if I said I followed a bee this far into the forest.' She thought. The dark haired lady let a hum in understanding. "Well, I hope your search succeeds, be careful." She said with a wave before turning to leave.

The brunette unconsiously stepped forward. "Wait-!"

"Kiyochi!"

Turning around, he said princess was met with her lost friend running towards her. "What did I say about running off!?" He exclaimed, worried. Kiyochi only stared at him before widening her eyes and turning back to the mystery woman, only to be met with the swift breeze of the afternoon. "Wha-" Kiyochi muttered, her eyebrows furrowing.

"Where did she go..?"
