The N.A.G.R.O Gala

Secret Agent Au-

The loud echo of multiple shoes hitting the ground could be heard drawing nearer to a familiar ravenette's office. Upon hearing the few voices that followed the tapping of shoes, Sketches sighed, preparing herself for what was to come.

"In 3, 2, 1-"

"WE GOT YOUR TEXT!!"

The sound of the door slamming open was immediately heard as Sketches had predicted. Standing in front of her were her four best agents, Kiyochi, Rockabiee, Hybrid, and her newest agent who had quickly rose in status, Snake. Kiyochi, who had carelessly kicked the newly installed door down, slammed her hands on her boss's desk.

"What do you want us to do?" She asked, her body language seeming quite giddy. She had been hoping for a more huge mission, where guns cocked, bombs thrown, explosions everywhere just made her eyes sparkle with delight. "Well, first of all, get your hands off my desk, I just had it polished." Sketches sassily snapped, shooing off the brunette's hands.

Kiyochi whined as Rockabiee pulled her back, before giving the ravenette an expectant look. Sketches gave a curt nod before clearing her throat. "I've called you all here today because of what has been broadcasted on the news recently." She pulled open a drawer before her, revealing a small remote, and pointed it towards a tv hung in the corner of the room.

It immediately turned on, a heated press conference in progress. A broad and tall man who looked to be in his early fifties looked to be answering questions left and right. In obvious distress, he awkwardly scratched his grayed beard. "I acknowledge all of your worries due to today's incident that occurred not long ago, but I assure all of you, the police meant no harm whatsoever-" The tv was paused as Sketches turned to the four.

"The said incident was an out of hand protest that resulted in the death of over thirty people." The agents' eyes widened as Kiyochi mumbled a 'what the hell...?' "What was the whole thing for anyway?" Hybrid asked for his boss to shrug. "That's what we're gonna press into. All we know is that it had something to do with the large company, N.A.G.R.O. Equip, A company that helps boost up needed supply for medical areas such as hospitals. I suspect whoever had been in the protest knew something we didn't, thus, the police attack." She explained.

"Fortunately, their "leader", Lewis Elsher, that man you see on the tv, is incredibly stupid." She said with a sharp smile. Kiyochi snorted as Rockabiee stiffled a chuckle at Sketches' language. "As an apology for the police's behavior, he has invited the entire town to a Gala held right in his mansion." She smirked. "That's where you four come in."

They agents blinked before Rockabiee let out a gasp in realization. "So we're going to the Gala?" She asked, already dreading the experience. Snake groaned. "Parties like these are so boring, do we all seriously have to go?" She complained as she crossed her arms.

Sketches shrugged. "Not necessarily, two of you will be inside the banquet, mingling, and keeping an eye out for Lewis or any other suspicious activity. The other two will be heading inside the company building, which will be guarded securely." Snake hummed in understanding. "I call crawling through vents." The shorter brunette stated, shooting her hand up, earning an eye roll from Snake, who also rose her hand.

The ravenette rose a brow. "Okay then, Hybrid, Rockabiee, guess you two are heading to a Gala." Rockabiee smiled and nodded, still quite unsure. Hybrid shrugged as he stuffed his hands in his trouser pockets. "As long as this mission is entertaining, I'm down."

Suddenly, the door was opened again, a redheaded agent poking her head in. "Uh, we have the gadgets and wardrobe finished, whenever you're ready." Sketches nodded and gave a brief smile to the girl before turning back to the confused four. "Come on, we don't have all day."

・❥・

"We have like twenty minutes, get the hell out so we can leave!!"

"I'm trying to fix my fucking tie."

Jet black shoes stepped out of the room as Hybrid fiddled with his tie. His navy blue vest clashed perfectly with his long midnight suit jacket as well as his white button down shirt that had been tucked into his dark trousers. A small white flower pin had rested on the right side of his coat collar. Folded and slipped perfectly into his breast pocket was a clean hanker chief. A barely noticeable H had been engraved into the fabric, emphasizing who it belonged to. His leather black gloves had been partially covered by his suit jacket. Dangling from his belt and reaching his trouser pocket was a slivery and slender chain.

The tall male let out a frustrated sigh, lifting his hands up in surrender. Snake rolled her lilac eyes before grabbing his tie harshly, earning a yelp from Hybrid. Her gloved hands tugged and pulled until the tie was tucked correctly into his vest. When she was finished, she stepped back, not before a brief scold on how to properly tie a tie.

"Where's Kiyochi and Rockabiee?" Hybrid asked, noticing the absence of his friends. Nox shrugged and glanced at the clock on the wall.

"I say we leave them."

" 'Aight bet."

Before they could leave to head into the gadget room, the dressing room door burst open again to reveal the missing girls.

"I told you we took a wrong turn." Rockabiee snapped at her friend who only flipped her off in response.

The lavender eyed girl adjusted her midnight purple cap sleeves. Her sweetheart neckline had been styled to ruffle until it met with the sewn on silver flowers, leading a beautiful trail down to her hips. The large slit reaching her thigh revealed her Tyrian heels, specs of glitter scattered the entirety of the shoe. Her long satin gloves were coated a cool amethyst, matching both the same jewel dangling from her ears and the larger amethyst wrapped around her neck, reaching just above her chest line. A portion of her French curled braids had been brought and tied together with a lilac bow, the rest draping down her back.

"You were the one slowing us down anyway." Kiyochi retorted, crossing her arms. Her friend deadpanned. "May I remind you that I'm in a tight dress and uncomfortable heels while you and Snake are enjoying the comfort of a suit?"

She had made a fair point. Both girls wore mostly black, other than the white button down shirt under their jade black vest and tie. Exceptionally large vest buttons trailed down to their loose trousers, also a jade black. Finally, as the pants grazed the pairs of dark loafers that seemed to be freshly polished.

Kiyochi's chocolatey hair had been curled into several, lovely looking locks of hair. A small bee hair brooch had pushed back a few of the curls, but the girl insisted on keeping it on.

Snake, on the other hand, had on a few silvery star hairclips, pushing her wolfcut back as well. Despite this, her hair still seemed to look as fluffy as ever.

"Okay then, gadget time." Hybrid said, opening the door as the ladies passed right through, mumbling a chorus of 'thank you's' as they walked in. The large room had been illuminated with bright blue lights, shelves of glasses, lazer lipsticks, bombs, grafeling hooks, and many other subtle gadgets glistened, soaking in the bright light. At the center stood a large lab table filled with multiple tools both big and small. Sketches had been tinkering with a small watch before noticing them. "Took you guys long enough." She joked, setting down the watch.

"It seems the wardrobe worked out well enough, so you won't be needing that many gadgets." Kiyochi rose a brow. "What do you mean?" She asked, glancing at everyone's attire. Sketches walked up to her and pointed at the little bee brooch. "This little thing isn't just for fun, first of all, one of those little bee eyes is a camera." She continued down to her vest buttons. "Mini bombs, be careful with those." She ordered, though Kiyochi was too busy admiring the shiny golden buttons to pay attention.

Turning to Rockabiee, she pointed to her necklace. "There's a camera engraved into the jewel. Both earrings provide super hearing, they'll be activated on command by any suspicious activity." Moving on to Hybrid, she adjusted the small flower pin. "This is a smoke bomb that can last up to thirty minutes." Hybrid's eyebrows rose.

"Does it smell?"

"It does not, but it does a number on your eyes."

"And finally," She said, standing in front of Snake. "As you know, these are bombs." She pointed to the star hairclips. "These guys are ninja stars that'll come right back to you, like a boomerang, or magnet." Nox hummed in understanding, fixing one of the hair clips.

Now done with the explanation, the ravenette sauntered back to the lab table. "Now onto the gadgets I personally provi-Kiyochi for the love of God please do not waste those bombs." The brunette froze, a vest button in hand before chuckling awkwardly, tucking it into her breast pocket.

Sketches sighed softly before continuing. "Here are the gadgets I have personally provided for you." She took a small black box in her hands before carefully opening it to reveal two pairs of contact lenses.

Delicately placing one onto the top of her finger, she brought it closer towards the curious agents. "These detect the DNA from the person you're looking at and will allow you to see everything about them."

Sketches then turned her attention to the four pocket watches beside the contacts, picking one up and flipping it open. Instead of an hour and minute hand, the watch had shown two icons; one was a small speech bubble, signifying it as messages, while the other seemed to be a tracking icon.

"Obviously, this is where you will be able to message each other as well as me. The tracking icon on the other hand," She took off the crown of the watch, "This is a magnet that can be used to track any person you'd like as long as they're wearing or holding metal."

Setting the watch down, she looked up at them, her expression stern. "I expect this mission to run smoothly and professionally, no injuries, no deaths, no massacres, am I understood?" She ordered the four of them which they reluctantly nodded.

"Good, now, it's best you four leave now, the limo escorting you should be here by now." Hybrid whistled while Kiyochi's eyes widened. "Limo-?" The ravenette nodded. "Well of course, you need to be seen a as the average rich folk, it doesn't matter if they must know who exactly you are."

Snake shrugged. "True." As the agents begin to walk towards the door, Kiyochi mumbles, "Wonder how explosive this bomb is.."

"No unnecessary violence!!" Sketches yells out as they leave.

・❥・

The elongated car finally came to a halt, the sound of the screeching tires alerting the agents. Kiyochi looked out from her window, her eyes widening. "Damn, this guy's rich as fuck." She said, marveled at the enormous luxury mansion. Rockabiee sunk in her seat with a sigh. "Way too many people.." She muttered, glancing at the people walking closer into the mansion.

Hybrid nudged her shoulder gently. "It'll be fine, hopefully we won't have to do too much." The sudden click of the limo door opening captured everyone's attention. The door opened to reveal the limo driver, his blonde hair dangling in his face a bit due to his position. He gave a gallant smile, extending his hand out. "Allow me." He spoke, his attention mainly on Hybrid and Rockabiee.

"Ladies first." Hybrid reminded, turning to Rockabiee. She sighed and smiled softly at the blond, placing her hand in his and allowing him to help her step out of the vehicle. As she gingerly placed her foot on the concrete ground, she took a moment to gaze up at the building before her.

Sucking in a breath, she thanked the driver. Once he made sure he was steady, he turned to Hybrid. "Would you like some assistance or..?" He hesitantly asked to which Hybrid chuckled and took his hand in the driver's.

As he stood beside the lavender eyed girl, he waved to the two left in the limo. "Text us when you get to the building." He reminded them to which Snake nodded and Kiyochi gave a thumbs up.

Soon, the tires screeched one more as the limo drove off towards the N.A.G.R.O company. Hybrid held out his arm for his friend to link, to which she did with a gentle smile.

As they ascended up the broad flight of marble stairs, a few heads turned in their direction with either confused glances or raised eyebrows. Finally, the two had entered into the spacious ballroom, the many voices echoing off the walls almost deafening.

"Yeah, I do not like it here." Rockabiee mumbled at the large crowd of formally dressed townsfolk. "That makes two of us.." Hybrid replied with a slight nod. The entirety of the ballroom was illuminated with a strong and vibrant light that derived from the line of golden chandeliers dangling above. It's bright hew tinted the

The mansion was obviously larger on the inside, with a second flight of stairs that led to a separate floor, to which people had already been occupying. If you squinted or looked closer, there'd probably be another set of long stairs leading to who knows what.

Circular tables were placed neatly surrounding a big enough empty space for a waltz or two. Off to the corner was a small bar stacked with whiskey, liquor, wine, beer and many other alcoholic beverages. Hybrid glanced at the bar and gently tugged Rockabiee in its direction. "Wine?" She asked, puzzled, as they walked closer. The tall male shrugged. "We'll need something to blend in and not look so awkward." The girl nodded slowly in understanding. "Smart."

While Hybrid ordered two glasses of red wine, Rockabiee analysed the sea of people in search of any suspicious activity. Feeling the slightly cool feeling of the glass fall into her hand, she held it tighter and let the strong yet sweet taste melt against and through her lips.

"You see anything weird?" Hybrid asked, also taking a sip of his wine, slightly cringing at the strong taste. The girl simply shook her head before looking up, noticing the lights dimming.

"I now present, the N.A.G.R.O Equip owner himself as well as his family, Lewis Elsher."
A voice boomed all over the ballroom. Hybrid and Rockabiee glanced at each other before turning to the family descending down the second flight of stairs.

・❥・

"And here we are ladies. Sketches requested I stop a bit far from the company building to avoid any suspicion." The driver explained as he parked in the parking lot by the establishment.

Snake took out the pocket watch while stepping out of the limo, quickly typing that they've reached the company.

"So," Kiyochi said, stepping out as well and standing beside her, "Front door?" She suggested with a smirk, fiddling with her vest button. Snake turned to her with a deadpanned expression. "We're not gonna waste all our gadgets on some rusty ass guards, we'll climb in through a window or something."

The brunette rolled her eyes and mumbled 'Boring..' as she followed her fellow agent closer towards the building.

The company was in incredibly large, coated confidently with only glass. Standing at the entrance we're two security guards at the ready for anything. The two carefully headed for the side of the building, Snake taking a pin from her hair and carving it until the carved glass fell into her hands, leaving a big enough hole for them to crawl into.

The two slipped inside with ease, Kiyochi immediately standing back up and scanning the room for anything specific. The room seemed to be pitch black, the only source of light from the bright crescent moon the pooled through the carved hole.

The room seemed to be somewhat ordinary. The had slipped into a conference room, with the unnecessarily long table and chairs placed all around it. The atmosphere seemed strangely neat, the only thing out of place being a marble disc with a small button on its surface.

The shorter brunette rose a brow as she walked closer, examining the odd object. Grazing her fingers over the smooth surface, she unknowingly pressed the button, almost immediately activating a hologram.

Letting out a yelp, she jumped back beside Snake who furrowed her eyebrows. "What the fuck did you do?" She asked, glaring at Kiyochi, who huffed. "I didn't do shit, it's not even harmful...i don't think."

The dark haired girl beside her rolled her lilac eyes as she examining the hologram. It looked as if it was glitching just a bit, the image barely recognizable. Kiyochi squinted her eyes, trying to make out the hologram but to no avail.

"What is it?" Snake asked, still staring at the glitching image. Kiyochi shrugged.

"I don't know-maybe a..a chair-?"

"What the- how do you get a circle out of that?!"

"Well what the fuck do you think it is, smartass?"

"A lab table or something. See, that so called chair is just a large flat surface."

"Then what's with her circle behind it-"

The sudden shouts from outside the door caused them to freeze. Snake snapped her head towards the door and noticed two silhouettes standing just outside the room, the voices getting louder. She quickly took Kiyochi's hand and ducked under the table just when the door opened.

In walked two people, one with sharp heels and another in thick boots.

"Something's not right." A wobbly voice; belonging to a male spoke, no doubt noticing the hole in the window as well as the hologram. The sudden honeyed voice, most likely belonging to the lady in heels, scoffed. "No shit Sherlock, someone broke in. I thought this place was securely guarded."

The male tried to calm the her down. "They couldn't have gone far, at best, they probably just got here."

"And at worst?" She asked, or rather snapped. It grew silent for a moment before he replied. "They've seen the laboratory and have already left the establishment..." The lady groaned and the sound of heels began once more.

"Damn it Jeffrey, would it kill you to be responsible just once!" She exclaimed, rushing out of the room, the male following behind her, sputtering excuses and apologies.

Once the door has been shut, Snake sighed in relief and crawled out from under the table, Kiyochi following suit.

"Sooo, laboratory?"

"Laboratory."

By now, Rockabiee had given up on her wine glass, the red liquid barely touched. She and Hybrid had split up once the Elser's had made their entrance, and now she was stuck leaning against the bar counter, analysing the crowds as they mingled and laughed.

She made sure to make direct eye contact with anyone who gave her an iffy feeling, her contacts scanning their DNA. Unfortunately, none of them had anything to do with the N.A.G.R.O company, leaving the girl bored and stumped.

"Not your ideal setting, I assume?" A husky and foreign voice suddenly asked, causing the girl to freeze and turn to meet cool watercolor eyes boring into her startled lavender ones.

Name: Lucian Fredrick Elsher

Age: 21

Criminal History: Extreme
(Organ Harvesting)

Her eyes widen slightly as she slowly nodded, eyeing the man up and down in slight discomfort.

He had dark black hair, surprisingly clashing well with his piercing blue eyes. His face was chiseled and mature, complimenting his tanned skin The smile he held, though warm, gave the braided haired girl an unsure feeling.

He chuckled and gazed out into the large sea of townsfolk. "Can't say I'm a fan of galas myself." Rockabiee hummed softly, a softer smile tugging at her lips. Taking her hand in his, he pressed his lips on the back of it, gazing up at her with kind eyes. "May I have the honor of knowing your name?" He asked, caressing her hand.

Rockabiee, deciding to play it off, shrugged. "It's only fair I know the name of the gentleman I'll be hopefully spending the evening with.." She flirted, silently relieved at his smile widening. "I'll admit I'm quite surprised you don't recognize an man like me. But I'll humor you because of that pretty face of yours." He spoke, a hint of arrogance forcing a subtle huff out of her.

Trying to hold in a gag, she forced a sweeter smile. "Lucian Elsher, son of Lewis Elsher. The man who made all of this happen." He said proudly, as if he was expecting an applause.

The urge to roll her eyes was incredibly hard to fight back as she gasped playfully. "You're a company owner's son and this isn't your type of setting?" She asked. He shrugged. "When you're a guy like me, things like these tend to grow old. You on the other hand, are making this quite a night to remember..." He said, grazing her shoulder with a charming smile.

Setting her glass down, she noticed Hybrid giving her an unsure look that said 'Just one signal and it's over for him'. She shook her head slightly with a thankful smile before turning back to Lucian. "Mm, am I now?" She asked softly, playing with the edge of her wine glass, leaning closer to him.

He chuckled lowly, draping his arm around her waist. "I see you're quite the confident one." He leaned in closer, his eyes flickering down to her lips. For a moment, Rockabiee blanked before for returning the action with an inviting gaze. "So I've been told." She whispered with a suggestive smile, internally cringing at her tone.

It seemed to work quite well however, for the dark haired male's eyes flashed with something somehow darker than lust, greed. "You'll do nicely..." He mumbled to himself before extending his hand out, offering to escort her out of the ballroom hall. The braided haired girl shoved down all her doubtful thoughts as she lightly placed her hand in his own, his grip almost immediately tightening.

She gave one final look to Hybrid, who by now, held an uneasy expression on his face, immediately stepping forward as Lucian tugged her a bit more. She instead glanced at Lewis, who seemed to be talking with a few wealthy looking strangers happily. 'Look out for him' She mouthed with a reassuring smile as they left the hall.

Hybrid gave her a nod and exhaled, closing his eyes momentarily before strolling right over to the man surrounded by a small crowd requesting for his attention. "How the hell am I gonna do this?" He asked himself as he neared the crowd that slowly grew.

With an accepting shrug, he moved through the crowd and bumped into the middle aged man, making sure to make him stumble a bit. "Oh, my apologies sir, it wasn't my intention to run into you, are you hurt?" He asked worriedly, feigning an apologetic look.

Name: Lewis Elsher

Age: 46

Criminal History: Extreme
(Organ Trafficking)

The man, though quite irritated, gave him a kind nod with a smile tugging at his lips.
"It's quite all right, young man, accidents happen." Upon noticing the scene that had just occurred, a few people began to turn away, reducing the crowd to a small circle of people who instead spoke among themselves.

Hybrid smirked before giving Lewis another rueful smile. "Tonight has been quite a night, besides bumping into my role model accidentally." He said casually, giving a sheepish smile. Lewis felt a swell of pride bubble in his chest. "Role model, huh?" He said with a warm smile. The tall male shrugged. "I just think it's inspiring how you dedicated your career to practically saving lives, quite a hero if you asked me." Hybrid said, continuing to butter the company owner up enough to get something out of him.

The business owner laughed as he waved him off. "I'm starting to take a liking to you, young man. I can already tell you're going places." He said, patting Hybrid's shoulder genially, his prideful grin growing wider, while his beard stretched out to catch up to his grin.

'Going in for the kill.' Hybrid thought. "If I may, before the night ends, there's something I'd like to ask you, sir." He finally stated. The gray haired man held his hand up. "Just Lewis is fine, no need for formality." Lewis reassured with a low chuckle.

Hybrid nodded before continuing. "Could I ask for some advice? I'd really like to be someone like you one day." He asked, knowing that this could get something out of him or he completely useless.

Lewis paused before letting out a breathy laugh, stroking his beard. "What's your name, son?" He asked suddenly, stuffing his hands in his pockets. The taller male blinked before sputtering out a random word that started with the letter 'H'.

"Hudson, sir- uh, Lewis." He replied briskly. The older man shook his head with a smile. "Well Hudson, I'm gonna be a bit more honest with you, since you seem like a good kid. He said, bringing himself a bit closer to Hybrid.

"Think about my company name, how peculiar it sounds rolling off the tongue, and think about all the things I've done to keep my business booming. The amount of news with N.A.G.R.O Equip as the headline, some good, some bad, and finally, think about how old and stressed I look despite my young age. It sounds strange, I know, but you seem smart enough to understand some of it. Depending on the kind of man you are, it seems best to stick to other choices in life." He whispered as he backed away.

Hybrid's eyebrows furrowed as he gave a curt nod with a quick smile, walking away from the man. "What the hell was he talking about?" He mumbled to himself, deep in thought before colliding with a sudden force. On instinct, he apologized to the person he bumped into before noticing the company's name hung in bold, metal letters with an incredibly large size in front of the two flights of stairs.

He stared at it for a moment. 'Okay, let's start with the basics. N.A.G.R.O... NAGRO isn't a word so that's out of the picture. Can't seem to figure out the acronym, I don't know, NAGRO back-'

All of a sudden, it clicked.

"Shit." He whispered, panic slowly arising as he ran in the direction where his partner had been taken.

・❥・

"We're fucking lost, aren't we." Snake said flatly as she followed Kiyochi through the maze of hallways. So far they had gone to three floors, nary a laboratory in sight. "Oh, I'm sorry, would you like to lead us, Snake? Be my fucking guest." Kiyochi retorted as she turned yet another right corner, leading to another dead end. The lilac eyed girl facepalmed while Kiyochi groaned in frustration.

"What kind of stupid building needs so many rooms, jeez..." She complained, leaning against the wall. Snake shrugged, looking around. "There's gotta be a map or something somewhere around here..."

"Hey! You two! Who are you guys?!" A sudden voice shouted from out the corner they entered, causing the two to flinch. "Well shit." Snake said, turning to a grinning Kiyochi, immediately deadpanning.

"No."

"The fuck you mean 'no'?!"

"You're going to kill us too, dumbass."

"Not if we run."

As she replied, a gunshot drew nearer towards the two as they immediately ducked. Snake sighed in defeat and reluctantly pulled off her vest button, causing Kiyochi to light up, taking her own out of her pocket.

"Okay, we have to wait for the right-"

"Fire in the fucking hole!!"

Before the security could shoot another bullet, a deafening boom forced them to the ground. Spilling out a series of curses, Snake took a smiling Kiyochi and pulled her Love through The smoke. The two had almost slipped on debris that left a large hole in the side of the building.

"I told you to wait." Snake snapped as she smacked th back of her partner's head, earning a pained whine in return. "It was the right time, they were too close." Kiyochi responded as she looked down the hallway they had entered. Squinting her eyes, she noticed a faint blue glow coming from the last door.

"I think we found the laboratory..." She muttered to herself as she began to walk down the hallway. "How do you know?" The ravenette replied, furrowing her eyebrows as she looked in the direction that had allured her friend. "It's pretty self explanatory, dumba-" A loud yelp escaped her lips as she was yanked back beside Snake.

"Hang on a sec, something's off." Snake muttered cautiously, glaring at the blue glow at the end of the ominous hallway. Kiyochi tilted her head in confusion before picking up the knocked out security guard's gun. "Protection?" She offered, handing it to her. Snake rolled her eyes. "That's not what I mean-it seems too easy."

She took a few careful steps closer, just enough to examine the door from afar. "And look...it doesn't display the name of the room.." Suddenly, her eyes widened as she took Kiyochi's hand and moved the both of them to the side of the wall outside the hallway. As indirectly predicted, the door knob began to jiggle, growing harsher before whoever or whatever was on the other side became impatient before they began to bang on the door.

The two agents eyed each other with horrified looks once a high pitched, shrilled scream had filled their ears. All then fell silent. "That wasn't...that wasn't human, was it..?" Kiyochi let out, the inhuman scream replaying in her ears.

"Definitely not." Snake replied. "We need to keep going. Something tells me we'll circle back to...whatever was in that room soon." Snake said, her voice a little wobbly as she cleared her throat, the both of them getting up and continuing down the slightly damaged hallway, stepping over pieces of debris.

After about thirty minutes of strolling down the hallways, glancing at every turn or door for anything that'd give them a clearer lead. Finally, the two came to a stopping point, practically tearing up at the sight of a map framed near a guarded elevator. Just barely peaking over the corner, Snake eyed the men, who bye now were debating on whether to inspect the sudden noise that had either come from the mini bombs or the laboratory.

"Why don't you go, if you want that dumb promotion so bad." One brown haired male argued, nudging his partner who stumbled, stammering a few excuses as to why he'd rather keep his position as a guard. "If anything goes severely wrong, the alarms would go off, I'm sure Tony and the others are handling it." He justified, his face growing red at the teasing he was receiving.

Box inwardly cursed, glaring at Kiyochi who shrugged. 'No regrets' she mouthed with a satisfied smile. Deciding against encountering another fight, the two carefully examined the map in front of them. "Where the hell are we right now." Snake muttered to herself as her eyes narrowed in heavy concentration.

Kiyochi then placed her finger near the right side. "Here. I caught a glimpse of a room we passed. 352. So, we're down here." She explained, earning a hum in understanding. Finally her eyes cleaned as they landed on Laboratory. She silently pointed to it a few halls down. Kiyochi nodded as she attempted to memorize the twists and turns.

"Okay, maybe we can distract them by—" The sudden blaring alarm cut Kiyochi off as she and Snake flinched harshly. Looking up, they could see the alarm beaming a bright red, the color that would possibly be the death of them.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Snake spat harshly, alerting the guards who ran for them around the corner. On instinct, Kiyochi reached for her button. "Wait, I have an idea, come on!" Her partner yanked her arm down the hall, rapidly retracing their steps until the sight of blue had caught her eye again. She had now realized that they had returned to the disturbing room.

A chill went down the mocha haired girl's spine as she finally realized. "Hey-Sketches said no deaths." She said, earning a harsh glare from a pair of lilac eyes. "She said no unnecessary violence, this seems perfectly necessary, now move!" She quickly shoved Kiyochi to the side just in time for the two guards to beeline for the two of them. However, they were too fast. Not being able to stop themselves, the guards stumbled into the mysterious room as Snake yanked it open at the last second.

Almost instantly, a series of screams were let out as several noises overlapped each other. Snake backed away slowly as she and Kiyochi stared, frozen in shock. Finally, after what felt like eons, the screeches ceased. Kiyochi let out a breath, trying to recollect her thoughts.

"I think I remember the way to the laboratory, come on." She informed before a slight pain pierced the side of her neck. Feeling around, her fingers grazed a small needle. Turning to Snake, she was shocked to find her collapsing to the ground, her body spreading and doubling as Kiyochi attempted to blink back her blurred vision.

Feeling her knees buckle, she cursed as she felt her head come in contact with the marble floor, a sharp pain in her temple causing a groan from her throat.

"That won't be necessary." A familiar honeyed voice spoke. The ringing in her ears drowned out the clicks of heels that drew nearer. "I'm sure Lewis will figure out what to do with you two."

・❥・

Rockabiee knew she was in danger. Considering the fact that both her and Lucian passed several rooms through his mansion, and the now enhanced voices of men growing louder and louder the farther they were from the gala. Inwardly thanking Sketches for the earrings, she cleared her throat, she gave Lucian an unbothered smile. "Where are we going?" She asked, attempting to hide the slight panic in her tone.

The male refused to look at her but smiled to himself. "Just somewhere more private, this house stretches on for miles, quite ridiculous, I know." Lucian had a charming way of dismissing any forms of suspicion, Rockabiee had to give him credit for that. If she wasn't aware of the mission and mindlessly fell for that smile, she'd have thought nothing of sorts.

Suddenly, he came to a halt, causing the brunette to stumble. Looking up, she was met with two large see-through doors  guarded securely with yet another pair of men who spared neither of them a glance. The brunette peered through the doors to be met with a wide compartment.

"Hope you aren't motion sick." Lucian said with a little smirk, pulling her toward the doors. She gave him a quick smile, trying to ignore the guards as they entered into the compartment. "How does this even work, we're in a mansion?" She asked, sitting across from him. He shrugged as he got comfortable. "Let's just say money comes easy to folks like mine."

She hummed, fidgeting with her fingers as she felt the compartment begin to move. Slowly, it gained speed, she felt her fidgeting increase on it's own as she silently thought of a plan. If he was going to drug her, he'd do it subtly, and he was being pretty handsy as of now if Rockabiee had anything to say about it.

He'd probably find a way the moment they reach their destination, wherever it was. That's when the thought hit her. She didn't know where she was going. For all she knew, Lucian's little kidnapping could be some quick and easy gang up to get the job done faster. What didn't make sense was that she couldn't hear anything suspicious, no matter how still she positioned herself. 'Okay, obviously something's not right here.' She thought, sneaking a glance up at Lucian, who's head was tilted back, his eyes closed as if he's just waiting for yet another trip to end. 'He seems like he's done this before, wouldn't doubt it.' Rockabiee spoke to herself, thinking about the dozens of women he'd manage to seduce purely for something as sickening as this.

Feeling her blood blood begin to boil, a sudden pain began to shoot from the print of her pointer finger. Cursing inwardly, she wiped off the drop of blood coming from her finger and decided to rest her hands at her sides for the rest of the ride. If Lucian would make a move when they reached, she'd be angry enough to take him down herself. "Y'know you never told me your name." Rockabiee felt her heart leap as she flinched slightly, looking up to meet Lucian's deep blue eyes. Brushing it off with a light laugh, she decided on whether to choose a cover name or not.

"Callie, well, friends call me that at least."

He raised a brow, as if not expecting such a name. "What's it short for?"

"Calliope."

That brought a smile to his face as he rested his arms against his thighs. "A muse, huh? Well, I can definitely see it. Elegan, eloquent, beautiful as she was poetic." Scoffing, she gave him a smile, turning her head to the side as to avoid eye contact. His comment did genuinely flatter her, until she remembered that he was an all in all asshole.

"But there's another thing about Calliope. She was bold. I'm not a big fan of boldness, I'd prefer things to flow easily without any... interruptions, y'know?" The way he spoke so casually appalled the braided haired girl as she simply nodded with a little smile. He would either murder her the second they arrived or he'd trap her with no way out. Either way she needed a fucking plan. As her thoughts clouded her, she almost missed the faint spur of curses threw off her train of thought. 'Wait,' She paused, straightening up, 'Was that Kiyochi—shit did she get captured-'

Sucking in a breath, she jerked forward a bit as the compartment came to a harsh halt. She fell slightly forward, Lucian's arms steadying her with an amused glint. "Thought you said you weren't motion sick." He said, taking her hand as the compartment door opened. Gulping down her nerves, she took his hand and stepped out into darkness. The floors were what Rockabiee assumed were obsidian, but she couldn't pay attention long enough to be sure.

She instead gaped at the leather couch in front of her, a glass table placed with two glasses of champagne. The walls were coated a charming shade of wine purple, causing her eyes to furrow in confusion. She mindlessly allowed Lucian to lead her towards the black couch, watching him stretch as he draped his arm over her shoulder. "You seem so stiff, relax.." He playfully nudged her knee with his own, giving a lazy smirk.

She sat up a little higher, returning his smile as she attempted to seem clueless, glancing at her surroundings. The whole room felt so ridiculously unnecessary but it held many nice features. 'Focus, focus, try and hear..' She accepted the champagne glass with a half smile, bringing the glass up to her lips, she nearly tasted the sugary alcohol before a deafening scream stopped her. "Don't fucking drink the alcohol, Biee!!" A familiar voice desperately screamed. Rockabiee surprised herself at how little she flinched, grasping her ear tightly as she recognized Kiyochi.

'How did she...' She thought to herself before noticing a incredibly thin camera in between a wooden bookshelf, cleverly covered in between two large dictionaries. 'Well that checks out, guess it's time to put my acting skills to the test.' Rockabiee snuck a glance at Lucian, who was gazing at her expectantly. Momentarily closing her eyes, she made sure she angled the glass just enough to look like she took a sip.

Giving him a little wink, she moved and rested her head on his shoulder. "Feeling sleepy already?" He asked, fiddling with her curls. "Not at all." She forced herself to yawn, blinking a bit to add to any affect.

Hopefully her eyes slowly fluttering shut hadn't gone unnoticed. Or maybe it was her slower breathing. Whatever it was that managed to trick the wealthy son, it worked, as his hands tightened around her, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. "Kind of a shame, she's got such a pretty face." Lucian said to himself as he moved over to the bookshelf, tugging down one of the books. As expected, the bookshelf immediately shifted aside. 'Cliche.' She thought, rolling her eyes as she felt him slight descending down a flight of stairs. Glancing up, she could see the room with the bookshelf slowly rising, before it was pitch black.

Had she just passed through a door? Her surroundings were different. A rather ominous white and gray hallway, a few lights flickering. She passed by labeled rooms, every single one locked and dark.
Finally, Lucian came to a stop and Rockabiee froze, shutting her eyes once more and letting herself fall limp on the criminal's back.

She felt him dig into his backpocket, his other hand holding her with ease. A moment later, a small buzz could be heard and he kept walking. 'A key card.' She thought as she gazed at the door they had just passed, and sure enough, there was a small key card pad in the distance.

Taking in a sharp breath, she carefully reached down just enough for her two fingers to graze the card only for Lucian to stop once more. 'For fucks sake..' She cursed, rolling her eyes. He seemed to be chatting with a few employees, the conversation being so excruciatingly long Rockabiee felt herself begin to actually doze off. Her eyes were only forced open when she was swung into a new pair of arms. "You want us to take her in for you?" A rough voice spoke, his coworker chuckling beside him.

Lucian stayed silent before shaking his head. "I'll take her, you two go finish those others up. Lord knows how they got passed security." She spoke casually and Rockabiee found herself back over his shoulder. The sounds of obnoxious laughter and comments made the braided haired girl sick to her stomach, fearing for what they would do.

As Lucian continued walking on and on, Rockabiee began to consider taking him out on the spot and finding her directions herself. She had been fishing for his key card every chance she got, but the man was both too tall and took unusually sharp turns. Finally, after some miracle, the key card was safe in her hands.

"Fucking finally." She said a loud, freezing as her free ride had stopped walking. 'Oh well.'  She shrugged and bit down on his shoulder, causing his suddenly tight grip to loosen as he groaned in pain. Breaking free, her feet hit the floor and she booked it. "Get back here you little wench!!" He screamed, chasing after her. Tossing her middle finger behind her, she again felt the same voice of her friend in her ear.

"Turn left—"

"No it's our left and her right!!"

"No it fucking isn't!!"

Sighing at her distracting partners, the hand of her captor harshly yanked her back, snagging the key card. On instinct, she took his harm with her other hand and pulled him over her, throwing him to the ground. Turning him over, she forced his hands behind his back. "I'll be taking that, thank you good sir." She said with a smile as she stood up, her heel holding holding his arms in place. "How am I gonna do this..." She muttered, shushing the groaning man under her. Looking down at her dress, she sighed dramatically and tore a long piece at the edge, just enough to wrap around his hands and keep him from escaping.

"I'd bring you with me, but with your sense of direction, I'd have a better shot alone." She shoved him to the corner and took off.

"Where is she—Rockabiee that's the wrong way!!" Kiyochi shouted at the CCTV, jerking forward in a tied chair, fiddling with her bound hands. Snake tilted her head back and groaned in annoyance. "We don't have time for this." She muttered to herself. "Yeah no shit, those two guys are probably coming to murder the shit out of us while you sulk here." Immediately shooting her partner a glare, she stayed silent in deep thought.

The two had been shot by needles and like Rockabiee, were carried for hours before they had been shoved into the laboratory. "At least we found our destination." Kiyochi spoke with a shrug, staring intently at her surroundings.

It was ridiculously dark, the only source of light coming from the large chemical viles that held several uncanny liquids. It smelled horrible, like someone had been brutally murdered, and in this case, that wasn't too far off. At the center of the room was the same table they had seen from the first room they'd been in. A light quite literally circles around it.

"A little too modern, don't you think?" Kiyochi half-joked, earning a hum from Snake who had her head tilted once again. There were no sharp tools nearby, no scissors, knives, anything useful to cut through the rope that held them in place.

"We should just wait, Rockabiee will come find us soon." Kiyochi promised, not entirely believing her words. Snake scoffed. "And what about Hybrid, we haven't heard—" On cue, a buzz came from both of their pockets. "Speak of the devil." Snake said, desperately attempting to reach her pocket and,  obviously failing.

Looking up, she met Kiyochi 'a lit up eyes stare at her, or rather what was in her hair. "Your pins." She uttered, in inching closer to her with the her chair. "Shake your head."

The lilac eyes girl blinked in confusion but did as she was told, stopping once she heard one of her pins fall to the ground. Inching towards it, Kiyochi picked it up with her feet and lifted in high enough to fall into Snake's lap.

"What just happened."

"I'm the smartest bitch ever."

Playfully rolling her eyes, her fingers grasped the ninja star pin and sliced through the rope. Feeling the tight bind remove itself from her hands made her feel so much lighter. As she untied Kiyochi as well, the sound of chatter brought their eyes to the door.

"Get your bomb ready.." Snake muttered as she pulled a button of of her vest as well. Waiting for the right moment, the door slammed open to reveal an out of breath Hybrid holding onto two unconscious guards. "Oh good, y'all aren't dead." He smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. Kiyochi blinked. "How'd you find the laboratory so fast?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "I just threw the tracker on the floor and followed whoever it stuck to." He explained with a shrug.

Snake paused and side eyed Kiyochi. "We're so dumb..." Snake muttered. "Nevermind that, where the hell is Rockabiee?" The brown haired girl asked as she turned to face the CCTV, groaning at seeing an empty hallway. "Okay, game plan, find Rockabiee, kick some ass, and go home. On 3?" Kiyochi placed her hand in with a determined smile.

"1."

"2..."

"3!"

Pure chaos ensued the moment they retracted their hands. About 4 guards had burst through the door, guns at the ready. "Fuck—Duck!!" Hybrid pushed the two to the ground, knocking one of the chairs down as a shield. Heaving a frustrated breath, Snake pulled out her pocket watch and texted Rockabiee. 'Where the hell are you, we can't see you on the camera.' As she waited, Kiyochi had put her loose button to use, resulting in a large splatter of blood and retracted body parts.

The two stared in shock, specs of the red liquid trailing down their faces. "Kiyochi...why..?" Hybrid managed to let out, his eyes still focused directly on the spot where their enemies had been. "It—solved the problem-?" She justified with an unconvincing smile. A sudden ping caught her attention as she pulled her pocket watch out and perked up. "Biee said to meet her by the entrance, she caught one of the criminals." Snake raised a brow as she stood up. "Where the hell is the entrance?" She asked the male beside her, who was just as clueless as she was.

"I came through this compartment thing. Knocked the guards out and somehow found my way around with the tracker. The mocha eyes girl waved him off. "We'll just trust our gut, come on, we got this." She encouraged as she stepped over an arm, headed for the door. "When has trusting our gut ever actually ended up with a positive outcome?" Snake asked, following her reluctantly along with Hybrid. The girl shrugged and dashed down the hall as soon as she opened the door.

Trailing after her, both Snake and Hybrid made their complaints very clear, almost losing sight of her while fighting off another band of security.

Sighing to herself, Rockabiee impatiently tapped her foot against the cold floor of the N.A.G.R.O building. After having heard a few explosives even without her earrings, she would've hoped they'd be here by now. "God I wanna go home." She complained to herself, stopping only to kick at Lucian's side when his muffled screams filled her ears. "So you ever shut up?" She looked down at him tired and disgusted. He remained silent after a little one sided back and forth.

Surprisingly, no guards had passed by her throughout her wait. She had originally planned on looking for Kiyochi and Snake but after receiving an urgent text from Hybrid that said he was already on his way, she decided to at least look after one of the criminals in case he managed to somehow escape.

"I wonder how many floors this building has.." She mumbled after hearing yet another loud explosion. "Must be pretty sturdy of Kiyochi's bombs aren't causing this place to collapse." She mindlessly stared at an object, allowing time to pass by until something would come up and spring her into action.

Fortunately, she didn't have to wait to long, as several cars pulled into the company parking lot. Noticing her hostage's sudden muffles to become noticed, she cursed and dragged him into the nearest room, peering through the door window.

"Shut the fuck up." She whispered, covering his muffled cries for help as men dressed in all black paraded in through the door. Amidst these men, she could make out a familiar face she had barely caught a glimpse of during the gala. Though a lot more work out, she could make out the same jawline Lucian held as well as bright whisks of graying black hair. "Your dad, I'm guessing?" She whispered to Lucian who simply shot her a glare. Rolling her eyes, she looked back out.

Lewis had quite a monotone expression despite having obviously heard the sounds of screams and bombs. "Scope the area. Eliminate the intruders. I expect this to be done in under 10 minutes." A chorus of 'yes sir!' made Rockabiee flinch as she immediately pulled out her pocket watch from her rather unnoticeable dress pocket, and frantically texting Kiyochi.

'Change of plans, Lewis showed up with a shit ton of guys and is planning on killing you on sight. Meet me behind the building.'

Almost 10 seconds later, her watch had spammed a series of messages she couldn't fully comprehend.

'WGAT'

'WAIT ARE YIU IN SN OFFICE??'

'I CAN JUST BKOW HIM UP'

'Kiyochi please don't text while you're running.'

'YPU CSAN'T PROVE THAY I'M RUNING'

'...'

'WELL FINE RHEN WE AONT SAVE TOU'

Letting out a little laugh, she tucked her watch back into her pocket and turned to Lucian. "Now what am I going to do with you..." She said. He simply continued to struggle free from her binds, inching away from her. "Oh relax, I meant I'm gonna use you as bait." She pulled him by his suit collar and looked out the door once more before stepping out quietly. "Let's see how much your dad actually loves you."

Carefully walking down the halls, Rockabiee had decided to abandon her heels, holding them in her hands as she continued to travel barefoot, tugging a squirming son behind her. Noticing a flight of stairs, she hummed to herself. "It took a little too long to find you." She half joked, taking a step. Suddenly, the cool barrel of a pistol grazed the back of her head, stopping her mid-step.

"Didn't seem to take too long to find you, little lady." The slighty raspy voice of Lewis Elsher said with a low chuckle. Ordering her to her knees, he merely spared a glance to Lucian with a scoff. "You'd think after over—what, 20 times, you'd get the hang of this drugging thing."

Lucian looked down in embarrassment, staying silent. "Eh, didn't really expect much from you anyway." He returned his attention to Rockabiee. "As for you, your little friends have caused quite a fuss." He said. "Just when I was getting everyone to forget about my whole scandal too." He forcefully pushed the barrel deeper into her head.

She winced and rolled her eyes. "Didn't mean to steal your spotlight, sir." She said with a chuckle. Lewis dropped his smile and cocked his gun, preparing to shoot. "I'll find a way for you to make up for it, might as well finish up Lucian's job."

Sucking in a breath, she squeezed her eyes shut.

Bang!

All was silent for a moment before the sound of a gun dropping onto the marble floor gave Rockabiee the cue to turn. Lewis's eyes were widened as he fell to his knees, a bullet to his chest spewing a pool of blood rather rapidly. Scrambling to her feet, she turned to the source.

Kiyochi breathed a sigh of relief as she gave Rockabiee a wave. Behind her was a panting Snake and a traumatized Hybrid who was holding a limp guard by the collar. "I told you to shoot his arm or something!!" Hybrid shrieked. The girl shrugged. "Whatever, he's down and the police are already on their way."

Barely able to process what had happened, Rockabiee turned her attention to a frozen Lucian, who was still in fact tied up. "Yikes..." She muttered, not really knowing what to say. "If it makes you feel any better, I would've blindfolded you if I knew this was gonna happen..."

"You are so bad at this."

"Shut up, the guy's dad is probably dead!"

"Yeah, way to go mentioning that in front of him."

Sketches rubbed the bridge of her nose as she stared up at the TV, viewing the latest news. "Breaking News: Well-known CEO, Lewis Elsher, being hospitalized after being shot through the chest. His son, Lucian Elsher has been arrested after having confessed him and his father being the culprits for the multiple missing women for the past year. The whole city is at a loss, many families filled with rage and sorrow. It is truly a doomsday for us all, I'm Samantha Carpenter, CBS News."

Shutting the TV off, her focused her attention on the agents. "What did I say about mass murder?" She asked. Rockabiee picked at her fingers, avoiding eye contact while Hybrid whistled. Snake and Kiyochi side eyed each other and cleared their throats. "Uh—mission accomplished at least-?"

A/N: This is old and ugly but I finally finished it holy shit-
