Recap: He spun to reprimand the taller but was cut off by none other than Jerome.

"Hey Biggums, can we talk?"

"I can't talk right now Jerome. Could you just leave me alone?" Mitch growled at his friend. Jerome was shocked by the outburst, and thought it may just be stress.

"Biggums, it's kinda import-"

"Leave me alone! I'm busy!" Mitch yelled at his friend. Jerome quickly nodded his head and mumbled an apology before stumbling off. 

"You two are best friends. Start acting that way." Lachlan mocked as soon as Jerome couldn't hear.

"I didn't asking for your f*cking opinion!"

"Neither did I! But I still got it, didn't I?!"

"You need to learn when to shut your mouth kiddo. Or it'll get you killed." Mitch growled as he stormed away from their campsite.

How could he even say that?! Mitch hadn't been acting like Lachlan in the slightest. Jerome just could not  expect his attention at any given moment! He had a life too! Eventually, Mitch stopped storming away when he heard growling. 

"Mitch no!" Someone yelled as a dark grey blur with beady red eyes pounced upon Mitch. Crimson-stained teeth bit into his neck as everything went black.

Mitch has died. Jerome was only going to warn you about the growling he heard on his walk. Maybe you should have listened to him.
