"y/n what the hell I've been looking for you everywhere please talk to me I miss you" Sam said with anger that turned into relief, Sam steps out of his car and came close to me trying to pull me into a hug i insistently reject it  Sam put on a sad face and responds to my actions with "y/n i just wanna talk please hear  me out for once" i took one small step closer to Sam but not too close where he could reach me " Sam i told you it's over  i don't feel like breathing the same air as you let alone speak to you". Sam eyes grew wider with water  as he heard my words, now Sam stepped closer to me holding his arms out  "y/n i know your mad but please listen to me Jamie and i were studying and one thing lead to another we kissed but i love you more than anything". just hearing those words the words that i was so scared of hearing one day that words that just came out of the a guy i ONCE loved. I look up at Sam with water in the brims of my eyes "fuck you Sam, that was never the only reason why we broke up and to think I actually loved an asshole like you" I said as I ripped off the necklace Sam gave me for my birthday and threw it at him. "I never never wanna see you again" walking away I hear Sam behind me "y/n wait please don't do this". I pay no attention to it until I feel a tug at my shirt it was Sam "Don't fucking touch me , don't you dare fucking touch me with the hand that you used to touch another girl" i shouted causing Colby to react.  

Colby's P.O.V

I could see how hurt and scared y/n was of Sam almost as if he was a stranger of some sort. "Sam just leave, don't waste your breath" i heard y/n say at the top of her lungs almost loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear, finally y/n and Sam have had a few exchange of words and i could tell y/n was done with the whole situation reaching towards her neck yanking her necklace off and throwing it at him, this is where i intervene standing between them "Sam i think  its time for you to go, its clear y/n doesn't want to speak to you" lightly pressing my hand on Sam's chest so he could move further away and leave but guessing he wasn't liking that which is why he spoke back with hostility "Colby back away, this has nothing to do with you just let me and y/n walk away to speak like adults". y/n walk forwards towards me grabbing me shoulder " Colby's not going anywhere and you must be messed up in the head if you think i'm going anywhere with you" Sam takes y/n's hand from my shoulder and holds it with what seems like tears forming in the brim of his eyes "y/n please i'm begging you please can you just listen to me" y/n snatches her hand away  "Sam this whole relationship you did the talking and i did the listening your sorry's and please's are nothing but words now" y/n walks away and all the anger i have for Sam and my need to punch him walks away just like y/n is. The girl i love with my whole heart is hurting and the pain she feeling was caused by my....my best friend. 

Y/N's P.O.V

I just didn't know what to do, who to cry to, where to go all i could do is walk and walk and walk until i was sure of the next step i could take to feel better. Making it only a couple steps i hear a commotion behind me with voices that i knew almost to well. Quickly turning around i see Colby on Sam throwing punches towards his face while Sam is doing the same "Colby get off him!" i shouted as i ran to the two boys rolling on the ground leaving a blood trail in every area they tossed and turned in. Trying my hardest i yanked and pushed yelled and shouted for them to stop but they didn't budged and i felt helpless like the fight wouldn't stop until one of them was arrested or hospitalized. Pulling out my phone ready to dial anyone in my contacts that could help but everyone was in school or asleep,hearing a car door slam across the street caused my head to jerk in that direction it was Jake (Jake Webber). Jake runs from across the street and pulls Sam off Colby causing them to throw punches in the air Colby's ready to get up and continue the fight when i grab his arm yanking him away from Sam into my arms and they both stop, looking at each other with anger and heavy breathing wiping the blood from there now busted lip with their sleeves. Jake walks in between Sam and Colby "look i don't know what happened or the reason for it but both of you just walk away, Sam get in your car and drive away Colby go home". Colby picks up him book bag and starts walking the direction of him house bumping into Sam as he does, rebuilding Sam's anger causing him to turn but before he could Jake grabs his shoulders keeping him in his place "Sam walk away,its not worth it". 

Jake's P.O.V

Sam walks away and i look up at y/n who was  looking down ready to cry. I felt bad cause of everything  she has to deal with from her mothers death,her brother disowning her and her fathers abuse for almost 16 years but let's admit is she's a mess and needed to focus on herself and figure out her way though this world not what boy she needs to pick. Snapping out of my thoughts i hear y/n "thanks Jake if you weren't driving by they could have been arrested of worst killed each other". I just look at y/n theirs just something i find interesting and its not love or that i'm finding an interest in her its almost like i sense a bad vibe. "hello earth to Jake are you okay" y/n said with a chuckle i smiled back at her "yeah i'm fine, but can i ask you something" y/n slowly nodded giving me a frowned face of confusion. "do you really love Colby or does your heart belong to Sam think about that" i took out my keys and waked to me car hearing y/n in the distance "yes?" she spoke with a question me and half of Kansas could tell she was unsure. "yes is just a word your mouth forms but what is your heart trying to make out"
